Premiere (Beta)

For some reason, when I add a caption, sometimes it will randomly add it at the beginning of my sequence. No idea why this is happening

sometimes freezing with black image in play after i did some clolor correction

Importing individual clip like VO halts at 98% then sits for a 15-20 minutes before it appears in the bin.

This is happening in Premiere New Beta 24.1.0 Bld 32 as well as the updated Premiere 2023. Opened a project and trying to revise the names of files and use the space bar to play is resulting in my standard system sound effect when something is wrong. I hit the space bar, I get a tone, try and change the name of a video clip, I get a tone. Try to use CMD-S to save the project I get a tone. I'm like WTF?! Turns out, the default setting for these keyboard shortcuts is not set to the same as it's always been. I resolved the issue by opening keyboard shortcuts and clicking the spacebar then closing it and everything is back to normal. Very frustrating (and time consuming). Is this a bug or has something changed? If changed, why isn't there a dialog telling you this. I never got a window asking if I wanted previous settings to be applied to the update. Grrrrr.

Today’s Premiere Pro Beta build introduces both a bug fix and a slight change in functionality to improve the playback experience with ProRes media.     The Problem  Premiere Pro was not displaying ProRes media at the proper bit depth on Apple silicon systems when hardware decoding was enabled. Rather than playing back at the expected bit depth of 32-bit float, they would play back at 8-bit which would produce banding artifacts on playback and export. Currently editing a VLOG using Beta and having some issues with the audio. Mac, full spec. While scrubbing/PLAYING through footage, every few seconds the 'Audio disk I/O overloaded' error pops up. The audio will cut out for a second. I start to scrub again; it'll work for a bit, and then the same thing happens. Also when playing footage audio will abruptly cut with an error saying ''audio from clip not found'' with the waveform clearly showing in the timeline. Footage is from a GoPro Hero7 and when played there is NO audio missing.There may be a problem for the ai system as teh audio is recorded next to a waterfall. 

Hey guys,so i've been testing the PP Beta and it works pretty good. Besides some little bugs i could not identify sth, that would make me go back to the old Version. The new features (e.g. enhance Speech etc...) make it very appealing for a guy like me.But i've come to an error, that i cannot find any solution for it:- I've got a project where i edited in a 4k 16:9 sequence a video for a client- After editing the video in 16:9 i needed to make social media content so i created a new sequence 4x5 and just copied the video/edits from the other's sequence timeline and pasted into the new one- on the first day i removed the zoom effects and made them again for the 4x5 format etc... and everything workedTHE PROBLEM: Since yesterday everytime i load the sequence after scrolling thorught the frames it gets stuck on the frames and i cannot play anything in the timeline. I can move the cursor and the frames, but the timeline gets stuck and i'm not able to see any video, since it is stuck in one

Hello, I cannot edit captions?

I have found that warp stabilize works much better when a multi-cam clip is flattened.  This copies over any underlying lumetri settings ok, but does not allow for any subsequent lumetri color changes to the underlying footage.  If I update the color settings on the source footage, then I have to manually go and update the lumetri settings on any sequence that has been flattened for warp stabilization purposes.  I'm open to suggestions for a better work flow.  Including possibly:Having an option for a lumetri setting, when updated, that could also update all the other clips with the same preset on them.Fixing the warp stablize so that there is no need to flatten the clip.Having a search and replace effects function to do a mass update on any lumetri settings that need updating.

In the beta App, i can't select the language to transcribe and when I do static transcribe, I can't edit it. In the normal version, this doesn't happen. Please update this for other languages.

After creating the multicam sequence, when importing to the timeline the waveforms disappear. Before I used to just render and replace but now I can't seem to do that.

Hi,adobe premiere pro beta now released audio enhancing features but it will not works with native languages.. is there any solution for that?

I've created captions from transcripts. In the captions panel everything looks good, but in the project many punctuation marks show up as a butterfly symbol instead of the correct mark. Any insight? 

Results for the "Enhance Speech" work fairly well at removing reverb and background noise, however at the moment it is not very useful in that anything longer than 10 mins of audio takes not only an EXTREME amount of processing (which you have to wait for) but even once it's done it still seems to require ANOTHER layer of preview rendering.So for example an hour long recording takes approx 90 mins - 2 hours to process once the "Enhance" button is clicked. Even after that's completed, once you hit spacebar on your timeline it then goes to an additional rendering bar (the usual one that's been around with PP for creating prerendered clips).Compare this with FCP's Voice Isolation which is instantly added and requires no in-program processing time, and additionally the results sound a bit better still with FCP.If you really need a voice improvement tool right now, go with FCP or ClarityRX or Izotope because once again Adobe is well behind the curve with their focus still being on moving th

The new ai features are brilliant at clearing up badly recorded sound. And they are a cut above the previous ai solution that I was using online. I appreciate that it is early days but my only issue so far has been that it changed a word from "occupancy" to "occupatchy" and there seems no way to get it to re-guess the word correctly. The ideal would be that I could tell it what a word actually is.

Just had the opportunity to try out Enhanced Speech Footage was of a lecture. The facility's wireless mic had crapped out, but fortunately I had a shotgun pointing at the front of the room and captured the unamplified audio of the speaker. The speaker had a bit of a New York accent and talked very fast.  Room was somewhat reverberant. When the AI was done processing the enhanced speech, I was astounded that it sounded like he was talking into the stage mic!  Just amazing.  Then I listened more closely and realized he wasn't making any sense.  Words were jumbled together and it sounded like a foreign language. Other sounds, like a woman coughing, were interpreted as vowels in a woman's voice and it pops in occasionally. So I'll have to massage this quite a bit before it's usable.  It's a noble try.  Attached is a before/after for a short segment. Available now in Premiere Pro Beta: Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate transcripts in the Text panel so you can find pauses and navigate your sequence using keyboard shortcuts. This means that when you transcribe your sequence at the beginning of a project, you can now scan the transcript to find moments of interest, bad takes, good quotes, and long pauses.   Navigation: Navigate through the Text panel using familiar text editing keyboard shortcuts. The playhead will follow your cursor navigation so you can easily jump to the selected moment in the transcript. Selections: Use text selections to set in/out points in your sequence. Enable and disable the in/out point button in the Transcript tab to activate this functionality. Detect pauses: Show or hide pauses in a transcript and navigate between pauses.
