cela fait 2 fois que cela m’arrive pour 2 projets différents. Je travaille dessus pour montage vidéos dans première elements 2026 et d’un coup, le projet ne se charge plus .message : “impossible de charger le projet. celui-ci est sans doute endommagé ou contient des éléments obsolètes” ???? pas moyen de le récupérer. j’ai retéléchargé Première sans succès.au secours !!!merci Hélène

Hi everyone,I am experiencing a frustrating issue with Adobe Premiere Elements 2026 where my custom keyboard shortcuts are not being saved. Specifically, I am trying to change the Zoom In and Zoom Out shortcuts, as the default "=" and "-" keys are very inconvenient on my regional keyboard layout (Slovenian).Here is what I have tried so far, but without success: Created a New Preset: I used "Save As" to create a new custom shortcut preset. Admin Privileges: I ran the program as an Administrator to ensure it has permission to write to the disk. Folder Permissions: I checked the AppData Roaming folder and disabled "Read-only" mode for the Adobe preferences folder. Despite these steps, every time I close and reopen the project or restart the application, the shortcuts revert to the default settings or disappear entirely. It seems like the program is unable to consistently load the custom .kys file.Is this a known bug in recent versions, or is there a specific workaround to "force" the

Ultimately, it seems that Adobe is trying to standardize its business model so that all its users are subscribers, regardless of whether they’re Hollywood editors or just someone who wants to add nice titles and effects to their 1080p videos. In Premiere Pro, the subscription is just another corporate expense, inherent to the company’s operations. In the consumer version of the program, that expense may be harder for the user to justify.. Sorry, my final verdict on this change in Adobe’s policy is clearly a thumbs-down.

 I want to report a  design issue in Premiere Elements 2024 that occurs when creating a New Project.The Problem: In the "New Project" dialog, the preset box only displays 16:9 - 1920x1080Since these values match most users' needs, they are accepted immediately. However, the interface hides the most critical information: the frame rate  (29.97 fps ) It is very easy for a user to overlook that this is actually a dropdown menu. By accepting the visible values, they unknowingly agree to a 29.97 fps project, which is incorrect for those of us filming at 25 fps (the standard in Europe). Because Premiere Elements doesn't allow copying tracks between projects with different frame rates, this lack of transparency at the very start of the workflow forced me to restart hours of work from scratch.The Suggestion:Please, make the Frame Rate visible at first glance in the New Project window so users don't unknowingly accept an incorrect default. I urge you to take this into account for future version

No sound on Macbook Pro 2020 M1 with MontereyPremiere Elements 2022 does not play the sound. The audio level can be seen in the audio mixer, but the sound is neither passed on to the internal speakers nor to an HDMI device.The sound of the integrated sound files cannot be heard either.have played through all options under settings audio devices and no success.even deleting and reinstalling with a new path do not help.Sound output of all other programs on the Macbook will work, just not Premiere.The strange thing is that the audio mixer in Premiere shows the level, so it fails to transfer the sound to the OS Macbooks.Everything works on an identical Macbook with OS Big Sur

Hi,I’ve noticed that when I go to edit a movie the audio is VERY low, to the point I can’t hear it. I increase the audio track to 15 db but then it distorts. When I check the audio of the source clip(s) it’s excellent, and when I do a export of the clip it sounds great.It only happens while I am editing and I have a lot of audio triggers I can’t hear for editing. I don’t remember it doing this in the past so now sure what’s going on with Premiere Elements 2025 Thoughts? Bob

Premiere Elements 2026, Windows 11.  I am trying to display the Used and Video Usage columns in the List View in the Project Assets panel.  Can’t find a way to do this.  This would be an easy way to see if I accidentally omitted a clip from the timeline or used a clip more than once.

Hello! I am new to video and video editing. I have seen a similar question in the forums, but I do not understand any of the terminology given to solve the problem. Novice here!I am near the end of editing (actually re-editing) my first video project. The first time around, I downloaded (imported?) the video clips just fine, and everything edited perfectly except for one clip that lost audio halfway through. What's up with that?This time, all the clips are downloaded/imported just fine, I am near the end of the project, and the last two clips went blackscreen after being cut. The master is fine, they went onto the timeline fine, and after being trimmed the video itself disappeared and only the audio is available. What's up with that?Please help by using little words. 'Explain it to me like I'm a two-year old' (Denzel Washington, "Philadelphia"). A two-year old without a smart phone!Thanks!!

Hi,My machine died and I am trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements 15 on new one. It says that limit of activations reached but I cannot sign out of previous one. Adobe refuses to do anything ?  Can somebody please advise.Thank you

I understand 2024 was the last version with a lifetime licence. I do not want to pay for a subscription. Does anyone know where I can buy 2024 version. I am currently on V15.

I have a Ryzen 9 3900XT processor and 32GB memory. I have been using Elements 15 but now I need to embrace H265 all the time. Will this processor be ok with the new Elements 2026?

I'm using Premiere Elements 2026 on Windows 11 in Advanced mode. I want to use the Music Remix feature to extend and auto mix a music clip to match my video length.The problem: I cannot find the Music or Soundtrack track anywhere in my timeline. I only see Video 1-3 and Audio 1-4. I've scrolled down — no Soundtrack track exists below the audio tracks.When I drag a music file to the timeline it only goes to regular Audio tracks (Audio 3, 4, 5, etc.) and does not show remix handles — only regular trim handles.How do I get the Music/Soundtrack track to appear in Premiere Elements 2026 so I can use auto Remix?  I have tried my bot and no help there either

have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 2025 for a while with no issues. I now cannot put a clip on to edit with the video and audio linked. I’ve used the ‘unlink’ in the past and it is nothing connected to that as the menu will not give me the option to ‘link’. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great as it is doing my head in trying to exactly match the cut on video and again on audio. Only thing that works as one is the ripple delete - even if I try to move a clip manually, I have to move video and then go back to move audio as they will not link up in any way! PLEASE HELP

I just purchased 2026 Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundle. I can create a video and export it to a Media file or to a number of social media sites but I cannot find a way to burn a DVD or create a DVD .iso file from the video I have created.  I have reviewed numer of posting showing a pull down on the "Export & Share" button on the upper right portion of the editor display.  On my version there is not a pull down indication.  The only option is to press the button.  Afterward a window on the left side of the display opens with an option to save a media  file or to export the video to a number of social media sites. Additonally I don't seem to have a way to create a DVD menus or to edit Book Marks although I can create them.I have installed copies several time and on several computers with the same results. Anyone have any ideas?

I want to share a very frustrating experience I had with v2026. Upon installation Premiere Elements and/or Microsoft evidently reset defaults… one of which was .mp4 files to Premiere Elements. Whenever I exported a movie and attempted to play it back, all it did was reload the project file, even though it said it was a .mp4 file. Finally, I went into Microsoft ‘default’ settings and reset .mp4 to a different program (in my case I selected media classic player) and all of a sudden the file played as a normal video file. Wow, how frustrating until I figured it out. Hopefully this might save someone else some frustration.Barry

I'm having trouble reactivating Premiere Elements 2020 after my PC crashed. I can't log out of my old PC (continuous BSOD).During activation, I get a message that there are too many activations.The agent said he can't help me.How do I reactivate the software?The product is visible in my software list in my Adobe account.Jacek

Hi, I’m a Newbie!!!!I'm getting an error message about “Sequence Settings Mismatch” in Premiere Elements 2026. This only happens as I’m working on a video a friend sent me. Most of the articles/videos I find about the best way to fix it only apply to Pro, not Elements. Any suggestions?

When I apply default (cross dissolve) transition to all clips on the timeline, APE applies a “transition” to the beginning of the first clip. Since there is nothing to transition from, APE installs a fade-in on the first clip.. (And a fade-out on the last clip.) My question is, why wouldn’t Adobe apply a transition only at the intersection of 2 clips? That would make more sense. After all, it’s not a transition of there’s nothing to transition to or from. I doubt that anybody really wants that fade-in/out along with transitions.. If we want fade-in/out, we can install them ourselves. It’s up to us, not APE to decide that. I know there are a couple ways to work around the issue, but Adobe should fix that in the next generation.

Running Elements 2026.1.  I have a client that creates MOGRT files in AE & until recently I was able to open them in Elements but now I can't.  I get error: "This motion graphics template is not compatible with this version of Premiere Elements."

I’ve captured some 4K HDR videos using my GoPro 12.  When playing the video in Windows, everything looks normal.  Also, when playing the clip within Premiere Elements Project Asset, it looks fine.   After adding it to the timeline and render, the color of the clip in preview looks strange.  See attachment.  The blue sky turns black.  Any assistance with this issue would be appreciated.Clip properties:Type:  MPEG Movie Frame Rate: 59.94 Color Space:  Rec 709 Color Space Override Off Video Codec Type HEVC 10 bit 4:2:0

when im editing my videos in premiere elements 21 its impossible to do anything becauyse if i try to playback the videos in my timeline it lags so bad that it shows 1 frame every 20 seconds. any fix?

I have installed Premiere Elements and entered my serial number. I get an error that the software is already activated. I no longer have the computer that Premiere was installed on. I did not deactivate Premiere on the old computer before I disposed of it.Is there a way to deactivate the old installation so that I can install Premiere on the new computer?
