I can't change the size of the bar which represents the part of the video clip on the timeline in APE2024 Here you can see Preview window in APE2021 and those 2 elements that I use to chance size of the bar.   They are not visible in Preview window in 2024  You can see it better in this video: https://youtu.be/pz6Q9VlpHZE Besides, is it finally possible to change the default size of Preview window? It is too small and I need to resize it each time I open it.  

Adjustment/Color/Saturation produces very strange effects. It’s hard to described them but they are very well visible in this print screen.It is not even oversaturation. The colors of the image are distorted is some strange way.  Here is original image:  What is interesting that Effects/Image Control/Saturation gives completely different results which are more to be expected.  I don't understant why those two saturation settings give so much different results. 

I'm importing several videos which were shot in 4k (from a drone) into Premier Elements 2020. The original videos look very sharp when I view them on my computer with Windows Media Player, but when imported into PE 2020 the qulaity is very noticeably degraded. I suspect that it's because the project is created as a "HD 1080i" project. My understanding is that the project type should be created based on the first file placed on the timeline, but I see that creating a 4K project AVHCD isn't even feasible. Curiously, I can apparently export a project as a "4k UltraHD" file. Does Premier Elements 2020 truly support HD? If so, do I need to install or configure something so that I can create the project itself as a 4k project? 

Hi All, I have been trying to solve my problem for several weeks. When importing some GoPro footage into Premiere Elements, it is not read or decoded properly. Please see the annotated screen shot below:The files play correctly in all programs, even Premiere itself, however they don't play correctly when they are added into the workspace. I organize my photos in folders labeled: [year][month].  If, during the period of a given folder, there is an event, I will create a subfolder.  For example, if Jack and Jill are married in July of 2022, I will create a folder 2022Jul with a subfolder Wedding.In the pervious 2022 version of Priemiere Elements Organizer, all of the subfolders were listed, offset and directly below their primary folder.In the 2024 Organizer, the subfolders are separated and not linked to their parent folders; listed separately and alphabetically.How can I return to the prievious organizer format.

Premiere Elements 2022. I have a video where shake reduction is locking on the wrong item. Is there a way to specify which object is stationary? (like object tracking)To be more specific, I have a handheld video of a raft of floating cranberries floating past a sprinkler head. The raft covers the entire screen with the exception of the sprikler head. The Shake Reduction seems to be assuming the cranberries are a stationary background. I'd like to be able to somehow use the sprinkler head as a stationary object to lock onto.

I've notice that exporting video is VERY slow when I use Shadow/Highlight effect in my project. Example:Duration of the video: 5min 10sExport time without any effects: 7min (Render at max depth)Export time with only Shadow/Highlight effect applied: 49min!!! (Render at max depth)https://youtu.be/s_9FCMKwjig I need to use that effect in my videos and I want to get max quality and that is why I use "Render at max depth" but the export time very long just for only one effect applied. It means that it would take 2.5 hours to export 15min long video. And there is no hardware acceleration such as NVEnc available in APE   

I’ve noticed some problem with real time playback of videos consisting of (GPU accelerated) transitions. The playback in monitor window is not smooth if the transition is applied to a same clip which was split before.However, if I apply the transition to two different clips the playback it perfectly smooth. Then I applied transition, and the playback wasn’t smooth at all, even though the transition was GPU accelerated. Then, I imported the second video and applied the same transition between two videos and this time playback in monitor window was very smooth.I know that I can render the timeline to get real time playback but I paid for version of APE with GPU acceleration to avoid it whenever I use GPU accelerated transitions and effects.Do you see similar behaviour of APE? 

am using the Trial version of Elements Premier. Does the banner "Created with Adobe Premier Elements Trial Version" appear on every edited video or photo?

When trying to export a video file in Premiere elements 2023. I get an error message when trying to export prel file to mp4. "An internal error has occurred. Check if there is enough space on the disk."  There is plenty of space on my hard drive. I read on the web that this problem happen to many persons and Adobe community is aware of it. Did you fix this problem in Premiere elements 2024.

How do you get rid of the "Created by Adobe Premiere Elements Trial Version" watermark from my project?  Does this mean I can't fully have a project on here before I buy it?

I can see that setting of contrast in 1) Adjustments and in 2) Effects gives completely different results.I would even say that changing of contrast using 2) Effects is not working at all as it changes rather brightness and not the contrast. I need to use Effects to change a contrast since only Effects can be saved as preset (as far as I know)This video shows that I mean:  https://youtu.be/x5enHn4a4No Besides, I can see that all sliders in APE2024 are not working smoothly compared to APE2021. It is very noticeable.

When I export video from Premiere Elements 2023[not4], get random video glitches and green screen effects (videomerge) does not work.  All my drivers are up to date and tried to work with Adobe's extraordinarily horrible support which is the worst support experience I have ever had.   One guy updated my video driver to the same version that was already installed and gave up and referred me to senior IT who never called but had the audacity to say they did.   The support was so horrible that I ended up having to buy Filmora and starting my entire movie project over again and giving up on Adobe and will not be coming back.   I have been a customer for over 10 years and the 2023[not4] version being the 4th version.   A complete waste of money the 2023[not4] version.   Edited to 2023 version... I am using Prem. Elem. 2015 and it will not accept video from a Pixel 7 phone or my GoPro 11. I need special codecs or a program to convert the video. I did download a program to do that and it works but it's a lot slower way to create program than just dropping video right in. Can someone confirm before I invest?Thanks, DM

Here are looks at the new features in version 2024 that I posted to YouTube.   The new light or dark interface.   The new Highlight Reel tool.   And the very cool Color Match tool, which works well for color grading.      

I am trying to change my linked email when I first click Video Editor shown in screenshot. when I click change account it takes me to google where it says im all set to close page and return to app. however the app just shows a white screen and I cant do anything. this is so frusterating.

Can anyone explain why, in Adobe Premiere Elements 2022, there's a one-second black screen when I overlay one video on another? This issue only occurs when both videos play simultaneously.

Just installed new IEEE 1394 card to my new Dell XPS 8950.  It is recognized in Device Manager.  My Sony DCR-TRV 520 Handicam is also recognized in D.M.  All firmware and Windows updates are fresh.  Other free programs recognize the camera and allow Firewire captures.  I don't understand why Premeir Elements 2023 is not detecting the camera. 

Hello. I'm having troubles creating a movie menu/DVD menu for my movie in Premiere Elements 2023. Click on the Markers button and there is no "Menu Marker" option. How do I get a menu in? Thanks!

Habe das Bundle gekauft und erfolgreich installiert. Leider kann ich Premiere nicht aufrufen. Es erscheint die Meldung " Premiere Elements Arbeitsbereich wird geladen", aber es passiert nichts. Auch wenn ich auf eines der Funktionsbilder klicke kommt die gleiche Meldung und verschwindet dann wieder.

on opening my raw CR2 files  from my Canon D6  i find Elements 9 cannot process them
