Premiere Elements

Some Background: I have an old DVD that I created with PS Premiere Elements 3.0 back in 2008 on an Windows XP machine which is now long gone.  I do not have the old analog home video tape that I had originally created it from.  The video is only about 25 minutes long.  My new machine has plenty of video processing power: i.e. 64 Gb ram and 500 Gb SSD and is running Windows 11.Question: Can someone give me some ideas as to how I might be able convert this DVD to MP4? 

When the video is exported in Premiere elements 2023, the video plays for almost a second and then goes black.   I see others had the problem in the Premiere Pro and were able to fix it.Can it be fixed or prevented from happening in this format?

I have a very simple project.1:20 of video.I have it set up as two menu items.Three clips on the 1st item, 1 on the second.I try to burn to DVD and after going through the first pass, during the burn phase the progress bar gets to 4% and then stop.The burn light on the DVD never flashes.I then can't cancel.I uninstalled then reinstalled the program, but I get the same result.

I'm having a hard time getting Premiere Elements 2022 to export my timeline.  It seems to have problems with certain VOB files and not others.  All VOB files are from home videos that have been saved to DVDs.  The VOB files that I can successfully export were made from Costco and I just copied the VOBs to my local disk.  The VOB files that Adobe crashes on; these appear to be from DVDs that are homemade.  I doubt that is significant but every VOB from the Costco DVDs can be added to a project and exported just fine.  Every VOB file from the homemade DVDs crash Premiere Elements when I try to export.  Coincidence?  On the "bad" VOB files, Elements will begin exporting for 1-2 sec just fine.  Then it just stops and freezes and I have to force quit the app.  I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting this.  Any advice would be appreciated! My PC specs are attached in PDF format.

I have been a user for Premiere elements for 10 years - but I have tried all the suggestions re getting rid of green lines but they don't work.  HAd this happen on a previous laptop but evetually got it to work but not this time.  Thinking of switrching to Camtasia which I know is more expensive but doesn't seem to have the smae issue.  Any other software anyone can recommend? 

I purchased Premiere Elements 2022 after having used an older version for many years. I needed a new computer and was prevented from activating the older version. After having created a video with the new programme I attempted to burn it to an ISO image (4.7 GB). I received an error message: ‘insufficient disc space for burning’. I couldn’t find any way t o get around this and therefore cannot successfully burn my project. Can anyone please offer and form of help? Thank you.

How can I slow down a gopro MP4 video that has been recorded in a high speed mode?

I am new to this and trying to find the best way to rearrange my mixture of photos and videos.I decided to try taking a photo I want to move and putting it a second time on Vid 2 track so I can utilize the Delete and Close Gap n the Vid 1 track.  I did not place that photo directly above the photo I want to delete, I placed it much further to the right, later in the video as I read in other posts putting it directly above could be a problem..When I click the one I want to delete on Vid 1 and choose Delete and Close, it deletes but doesn't close the gap.Maybe this isn't even the best way to rearrange things. I don't know.I would like to just click and drag the photo on Vid 1 to Vid 2 and place it somewhere back in Vid 1 later but am trying to avoid manually closing the gap on the Vid 1 track. Hope this makes sense.Thank you,Sharon

Adobe Premiere 23 Freezes when I click Export. The menu doesn't even pop up.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, cleared cache, allotted more memory etc. I had this issue with a previous project, and after a few days of changing settings finally got it to export. However, I can't remember what I did. Now I have a new project that won't export now. It is only a slideshow of about 60 photos with music using just the Adobe effects built into the software. As soon as I click File- export- media (Or even when I click the export button on the top menu) Premiere freezes up. 

I have Photoshop Elements 2020 and it does not support importing videos with HDR on.  The error I believe is the default error about the HEVC CODEC, but I have that installed that and it works corretly.  The videos play fine on my PC if I copy them over manually, but will not import through Elements.    I just want the ability to import them into my catalog and view them using the Organizer.  Does Photoshop Elements 2023 support that? 

When I export my movie and upload the mp4 to YouTube, the YouTube video length is much longer than the video I created in Premiere Elements.Any ideas why and how I can prevent that?Thanks,Sharon

I want to export a project of about 50minutes. The expected file size is given with ~11GB. HD1080 - high qualityThe export went well until an export file size of about 4,6GB is reached.Then, PE crashes or Windows 11 itself freezes with a blue screen and reboots. Is there something to know, that PE cannot export video files larger 4,6GB?System: Windows 11; 32 GB RAM; NVIDIA GF 750; Premiere Elements 2022

Hallo, für das Video möchte ich nicht das gesamte Bild, sondern nur einen Teil verwenden. Gibt es in Premiere Elements dafür ein Werkzeug wie "Ausschnitt" in Magix Video deluxe Premium (VDL)? Auch nach langem Suchen im Benutzerhandbuch von Premiere Elements und im Internet habe ich nichts Passendes gefunden.Im VDL kann ich mithilfe der acht Anfasser den im Monitor angezeigten Rahmen proportional verkleinern (also im Seitenverhältnis 16:9 wie der Film) und an die gewünschte Position verschieben; mit "Bildfüllend" wird der Ausschnitt dann auf Bildschirmgröße herangezoomt, sodasss kein schwarzer Rand entsteht. Das beigefügte Bild zeigt oben das Bearbeitungsfenster von VDL und unten das Ergebnis.Wer kann mir hier weiterhelfen?Gruß Wolfgang

I'm trying to load a premiere elements 15 disk onto my new windows 11 pc.  Part way through the install process I get a message to the affect that there is a security problem.  I have no option but to click OK and the install proceeds.  But when I try to open PREL 15, I get a message about the program encountering an "unknown" error and then cannot load any projects/clips/music.  Is premiere elements compatible with windows 11?

En un mot toutes mes vidéos saccadent sans cesse...Ce qui rend l'application inutilisable. Le curseur sur la time-line fait sans cesse des retours en arrière, inexpliqués...Le  "Rendu" est inopérant aisi que les différents niveau de visualisation "optimale ou moyen....opérant ainsi que  etc"Dans le menu aide je n'est pas accès à la ligne "Mise à  jour" qui reste grisée. Auriez-vous une réponse à ce problème?Les techniciens de Dell ont Désinstallé puis Réinstallé l'application.... sans résultat.Pour eux, c'est un problème logiciel.Ma version Adobe Première Eléments 2021... 19.0Mon ordinateur: 16 giga de mémoire DDR4 à 3200 giga hertz;Merci de votre réponse 

Bonjour.Je viens de passer de Premiere Elements 2018 à Premiere Elements 2023 et je me trouve avec quelques problèmes. Dans les "Ressources du projet " les médias sont rayés et donc impossibles à utiliser !Ce sont les médias issus de la GoPro 9, filmés en 2,7K.Pour info:Windows 10 Famille version 22H2Processeur 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-11400F @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzRam 32,0 Go (31,8 Go utilisable)Carte graphique Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650Merci de votre aide 

There seems to be no way using 2023 to create this folder that can be used to burn a DVD. If I am correct are there any free product recommendations?Thanks

Am using Elements 2023 Organizer to create a video slideshow.  Most of the themes display two or more pictures on each "slide" somewhere within the completed video.  Is there a way to constrict this to only display a single picture for each slide? The workaround is to create several videos, adding or deleting slides until I have footage of every picture on its own slide, then cut and splice them together within Premiere Elements to render a full video as desired.  But that's dumb and time consuming.  There must be an easier way.

Hello, I have an Mp4 that I am importing into a project (PAL). The video is 16sec long, when importing the media, the video is only 8 sec. Audio is normal speed but cut after 8 sec. This is an example, but same for every video. Thanks for helpMarco

Hi, I just downloaded the free trial of the ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 2020. I need to try out making a movie with it. How do I remove the watermark? Full disclosure - my first guess is that you can't, and if that's the case, I'm really sorry that I downloaded this. And I have a free trial of being a billionare that you can try, but you can't have any direct access to money or anything that consumes money...

HELP! I need help with simple editing. All I want to do is remove the beginning and end of a Zoom video and remove clips in between. I know how to select what I want to remove and have followed a "How To" text and used the guided function but nothing seems to work. Have not looked at YouTube yet.  I was able to isolate a clip, hit delete, and the segment went away. I can't do the same with the start or end of a video. Using the same method I did for a clip, the part to be deleted does not go away. Sometimes the part I want to keep goes away.  I have saved and closed the program but the start and end segments I wanted to remove were still there. Do I need to save the edited video as "save as", renaming the edited video?  

I have premiere elements 15 one computer and am trying to load it onto a second one.  After loading, the program told me I had to deactivate it on another computer.  That other computer was trashed several years ago and I must not have deactivated it.  How can I straighten this out with Adobe?

Tech support has attempted to help me in dealing with the issue, which has only begun since I finally installed the latest update.After no success with support, I'm hoping to track down the previous version to download prior to the Version 18 that I currently have.  Does anyone have the download link?
