Questions

I've been trying to work on some of my XD files this week and keep running into a bunch of weird issues that I've never had before. When I drag a copy of elements from one artboard to another, they disappear and are somehow still linked to the former artboard instead of showing up on the new one. If I delete something, I can't undo to bring it back. I tried uploading images for webpage headers and get an error that says there was an image upload error and other editors will see a placeholder image.Last night, I spent time making edits to one of my XD files and when I opened XD today, the changes were all gone. I have closed and reopened XD, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc. Is there anything else I should try to fix these issues? It is driving me nuts and affecting my work. I'm getting behind on projects I need to submit for my job.

Hello,I would like to ask, if I have made a design in Illustrator for example a web page with many artboards, can I import all the elements in adobe xd or do I need to design them again inside the adobe xd? I tryed to do copy and paste from illustrator, it works but if I copy and paste a shape and a text the text doesn't work (is not active) it is like an image but I can not separate it from the shape.I am looking forward for your answerThank youDionysia

 

Hi,I have been facing a lot of issue for my Adobe account specifically in XD related to all my cloud files. Recently, I had a cloud file created on 1st week of December 2022 and have been using it almost on a regular basis. But on 31st December, 2022 while I resumed back to work I just kept searching for the same file and couldn't find  single sign of it anywhere. I tried to search for it even in my account on https://assets.adobe.com in the files section as well in the deleted file repository. But the file was nowhere to be found. So basically it looks like I have lost my file in thin air just randomly without any action from my side. I had to recreate all my work from scratch again.Apart from this very recent issue I have been facing a lot of issue on all of my cloud file since the last 3-5 months. Whenever I add someone in collaboration to any cloud file of mine that person is unable to use the file and at the same time I face issue in saving the and synchronising the file

This is a huge issue. I've seen many posts with people  having the same issue and no resolution. From what I've read it's a limitation of art board sizes occupying the work space but this is such a fatal error as the workspace needs to accomodate a large number of art boards and still be shared with stakeholders and developers. It's such a huge obsticle in productivity I now understand why people use Figma over XD.    <Title renamed by moderator>

I tried to be as descripitive as possible in the title, but essentially what happened was this:  I have a shared cloud document with a coworker. The document has been open on both our computers without closing for a couple of days. I have been doing design changes in the document, and it has shown no signs of sync issues or otherwise. When I came back to work the next day I saw that some of the latest changes I did the day before was no longer there. Keep in mind, I had not closed the document. Just left my desk in the afternoon and opened my computer the day after. I thought this was a bit weird and checked document version history, but none of the synced versions had the latest changes in it. But I kept on working in the same document for a couple of hours before I had a meeting. Again, XD did not provide any signs of issues with syncing whatsoever. For the last few days, shared components become mangled after I update them (based on recent changes I make to the master component that is located in a shared library). And by mangled, I mean elements change position and size, plus some just get removed altogether. This isn't just a one-off either. I've gone back to check and update my shared library components many times over the last few days and it keeps happening. The files where I am using shared components are all messed up and I have to spend hours fixing them manually.  Even the components in my shared library file are getting randomly messed up as well. How on earth are their elements moving around drastically and also missing some elements at times? Many of which haven't changed in some time (a month or so). This is beyond irritating and causes me massive headaches with getting work done while wasting tons of extra time trying to restore my designs to their original states. My XD version (on Mac OS) is fully u

Hi folks, Wondering how do you guys normally show your animation reveal for when page load? I am aware XD has this feature with 2 different artboard + Time trigger, but what if I want to show images reveal on page load without creating multiple artboards? Noticed that Time trigger not available for assets in the same artboard.  

Hey Adobe good morning, few days before I updated my XD after open and work there is a problem occur. 'Edit in Photoshop' option was disabled. How can I enable 'Edit in Photoshop' option. Please let me know I'm stucking. Thanks in advance

I was sent an email on June 11th that my adobe creative cloud membership has increased from 100GB to 1TB at no charge to me. When I logged onto my machine today, I saw where the creative cloud application was updated. I went to open Adobe Xd and it said that I was logged out and I had to log back in. So I opened Creative Cloud and it required me to input my credentials. After signing in there was an update for Adobe Xd that I started. After the update was done I went to open Adobe Xd and noticed that all my cloud documents were gone. I cannot find any way to recover them. Is there any way I can recover the files that are now missing since this upgrade? Last time I opened Adobe Xd was to download a copy of 1 of my files to send to a coworker to use on June 11th and all my files were there.

Hi,I apologize if this has been covered, I haven't found an answer.When I link one artboard to another in prototype mode, the second linked artboard opens at the top of the page.  Alternatively, if I link an object (not the page) from the first artboard to a second artboard (the page), the second linked artboard opens up in the middle of the page.  Is there currently a way to make an object link to a new page and open at the top?  Maintain scroll position doesn't work because the object is lower on a long page in the first artboard.Anchor links would solve this but I'm confused as to why artboard to artboard opens at top of page but object to artboard opens in the middle of a page. aThanks.XD 5.0.12.8MacBook ProHigh Sierra 10.13.3

I have images with a blur background but when I export them they are white, same for svg?    

Bonjour à tous, Depuis plus d'un mois je rencontre le problème suivant à s'avoir l'affichage de l'erreur 44:23 en mode examen de la conception, présentation et développment. J'ai suivi les recommandations suivantes, sans succès: https://helpx.adobe.com/fr/xd/kb/cannot-use-share-feature.html Mes prototypes contiennent très peu de specs et 2 pages maxi par fichier.Aussi pour mes collaborateurs utilisant ces mêmes fichiers rencontrent le problème également.Il est impossible d'envoyer les fichiers en dev de ce fait. Merci par avance pour votre aide, 

Hi XD Community, Currently been experiencing more of this annoying Error which slow down our studio workflow just to figuring out what was wrong. Tried simplified masking, re-export JPGs, etc. but still happening. Very unchill to have to export an offline PDF for preview instead of a cloud-link. XD please look into this ASAP. Thanks!Annoyed-Adobe-Paid-User  

Hy, fix problem with components ingnoring layers. Drop down menu with components (hover) doesn't work if i have another component with hover state under. Make components stop interactions if they are under some item (rectangle not transparent) or make them have priority by how high they are in layers panel. Top component wins over bottom.

Hi everyone. I am literally unable to install XD. I deleted all my apps on my computer and I have been able to install all the other programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc). But everytime I try to install XD it starts but then around 4% it just says 'installation failed'. I recently updated my computer to MacOS Ventura 13.1. I am a UI/UX Designer so I am not able to work at this moment. Please help   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hey everyone,    I'm working on a bigger project with a lot of components which I need to use in different sizes and with different labels. I created a master component with a placeholder text that says "label" and a hover state which changes only the color of the component.   When I use instances of said component I need to change the label and the size for every single instance and I want the new size and same new text in the hover state of my instance. But the changes I make to an instance do not apply to the hover state. Whenever I hover over an instance of my component it resizes back to the smaller size and the text changes back to "label".    Is there a way to link label and size of the new default state to the hover state? Changing every single hover state manually isn't a time efficent way to work.   {Renamed By MOD}

I have installed Adobe XD few minutes ago and when i try to open it, it just closes automatically, without any error or so.Here are my PC specs:Intel i5-8600 CPU @ 3.1GHz8GB RAM DDR4 3000MHz HyperXnVidia GeForce GTX 1050 TiSSD 256GB M.2 1800/1500mbs1000w PowerBankHDD 1TBI have Windows 10 Pro with latest update. Help. 3x over the past 24 hours my font styling suddenly disappears. There is a lag...as if having a memory issue, then when the page unfreezes all my styling defaults to one weight of my font (poppins). So all the semi bold and bold become regular. Or all the light becomes bold. The size changes as well. I recreated the file, removed font styles and started over and it happened again! This has happened when working on the desktop and in the cloud. I have all other applications closed (after the first time it happened). It's hours of work to restyle everyone over and over...it's also affecting font awesome five...that all turns to poppins.macOS 12.5.1XD is latest version.any ideas?

Hello everyone,Just built a mobile website prototype using Sketch then uploaded into InVision. Unfortunately, they lack a go 'back to previous page' option, which is proving difficult when trying to re-create a natural user flow for testing.Before firing up Xd and re-creating, wanted to know if it is an option in Xd?All help is most appreciated!

I am having some difficulty applying artboards to mockups using the angle plug-in.  On some of the mockups (not all) when I try to apply the artboard I get the error "current selection is part of a masked or boolean group." Ive tried to select just the screen in the layers panel but I get the same error.  It only does this with some of the mockups. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 

I have just a limited amount of fonts showing in my Xd font list, it occurs only in Xd and not in any other app. I'm using W10. I have no weird font manager tool or anything like that. My fonts are all valid OT and TT files. I read that I'm not the only one having this issue but seems to me that each issue is unique and that Xd struggles with fonts? What's up with this? Any progress?
