Hi, is there a way to change the size of the waveforms in Multitrack-Mode without changing the volume? Many greetings
Hi i wor k in a radio station, Tamar Fm in Australia and we have used adobe audition 3.0 for many years now, yes it's old but reliable and simple to use and since yesterday the save format changed from PCM without the 25 in it..... Window PCM(*.wav.*bwf) ........ to now suddenly including the 25........ Window PCM(*25.*.wav.*bwf) ........ and it becomes unplayable as a wave file after what was recorded is saved and our radio system heavily relies on wave files rather than Mp3s and i understand there is wma but it's odd how this has changed to 25. Could anyone please help us with this issue. From the bottom of the world aka George Town, Tasmania, Australia i say Kudos in advance for reading this and any advice would be so much appreciated
Hello everyone!Does anyone understand snapping really well? My ruler won't snap, despite multiple approaches.- Audition '25, Windows 11: Ausus Zenbook Flip 14 i7 16GB Regardless how I drag the cursor / ruler in Multi-track, or create a selection in Waveform, or which snapping settings I use, it only ever snaps to mid-way between sample points (i.e. the square points super close-up). Typical setup: Mutli-track, Time Display in Decimals (Synchronize with time display preferences), Edit > Snapping > Enabled.- I choose Snap to Ruler (Course)- I undo any other snapping settings (Just Enabled / Snap to Ruler (course).- There's no change. I tried testing it to Snap to Zero Crossings, and in a selection when I would Adjust Selection Inward, it would go to "near" the zero crossings, but only as close as mid-way between sample points. But I cannot drag the ruler, or it won't snap in creating a selection, to time increments (i.e. seconds or minutes), or frames and beats,
Previously, I could record music from the internet with Audition. After reinstalling Windows 11, it's no longer working. When I go to Audition Preferences > Audio Hardware, I only see either System Default - No Input or No Input. I think I used to have a choice of Stereo Mix, but I don't see that anymore. Is there a way to record audio again (sound card NVDIA IPS235)?
Hi everyone, I hope you can help me.I'm looking for Adobe Audition loops.
Recently I acquired a TASCAM 202 MK VII audio cassette deck. I have begun digitizing many, though not all, of my 350 or so cassettes. The deck has a USB B port and I am able to connect the tape deck to my PC’s (desktop and laptop) USB Type A or USB 3.0 port. Audition recognizes the signal and records the input. The input signal level from the TASCAM into Audition doesn’t leave me much headroom. The TASCAM deck does not allow for the output level via USB to be adjusted. I reviewed alternate means to adjust the incoming signal level, such as right clicking the speaker icon in the task bar; it does not appear the USB signal is considered to be an audio input source. A friend loaned me a Behringer U-Phoria UMC22. All that did was confuse the computers and/or me. What it didn’t do was allow me to adjust the signal level going into Audition. I am open to suggestions. The only solution I can think of is to get a mixer that has an USB Type A or USB 3.0 input port, the output is
Espero recibir apoyo.Gracias.
While recording the tracks are red, and the levels are very low. Monitor levels appear to be typical.Tried switching out from Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 to Behringer UMC404HD, encountered the same issue.Has this happened to anyone else? What could I be doing wrong?
HiReally enjoying mixing in Audition however clients always seem to need to change something in the edit after you think you have finnished. So is there a way of sending an updated sequence to Audition from Premiere so you don't have to start the dub from scratch?I am sure that I am missing something, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.Thanks.
I'm a novice, and only use Audition to edit podcast audio, but when I opened this file for the second time, this happened. There's this random audio clip that repeats over the ENTIRE 40+ mins of the recording. What's repeating is in the red and the actual audio is visible in the green and they clearly dont match. Like I said I'm super inexperienced with the program but hope I explained this well enough. This also now happens when I play the mp3 outside Audition. My producer has the original but wont be able to get it to me for a week. Any advice is welcome, thanks!
I'm recording Multitrack sessions on Audition CC2018 and from being fine in one session, suddenly all the "arm for record" buttons appeared greyed out in all tracks when I opened a different session - and now the problem is there in all sessions. It won't allow me to arm any tracks to record on them - I can do everything else, but not record. The microphone works fine and I can record in "Waveform" mode - but not in a Multitrack session.I have tried the usual re-starting computer, etc, but the problem persists. Please help!UPDATE:If I create a new empty Multitrack session, that new session works fine. If I open an already created session which already has recorded audio files in it, then sometimes it works fine, most times it does not - I have not been able to find a pattern (some were recorded some time ago, some are new). In the sessions that have the problem this window (which I had never noticed before) appears while the session is loading:Also, If I create a new Multitrack se
Hello! I use Adobe Audition daily for work and I was checking my Mac's hard drive when I noticed that I still have Audition 2024 installed. Is it safe to delete it? Do I still need it to be installed for any reason? Thanks. -Peter

hi there, just have a very quick question.I use the stretch function to be able to edit files faster. Now since today I noticed that above the display (how much the track is stretched), there is an icon with a kind of a clock over it. Who knows how I remove this?plz see photo attached
Anyone know how to fix this? I have no filters applied. Microphone will only pick up vocals. no claps, music, snaps, ambient noise, my cat, you name it. Adobe help went through my computer and their advise was to use voice memo and edit in audition....
Hello, The audio from audition is no longer working, with no indication as to the issue. I've tried several fixes and none have worked. I even tried deleting and reinstalling, as well as using an older version and it didn't work. Please help, as no solution has worked thus far. I made a previous post detailing the issue more thoroughly, but it has had no interaction. Thank you
Hi everyone, I got a new computer which was a susbstantial upgrade over my old one.On my old computer Adobe Audition ran great and I never had a problem with speed. But, with my new computer it lags a lot even with no effects and a relatively small number of tracks (3-4). Click File/Save takes a long time Clicking on an audio track and moving it. I'll click and it'll pause for 4-5 seconds and then highligh Hitting play, there may be a 3-5 second pause and same with stopping the playback And more Current Computer:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KS 3.20 GHzInstalled RAM 64.0 GB (63.7 GB usable)System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Edition Windows 11 ProVersion 24H2I have a Scarlett 18i8 audio interface.I've tried running without it too. MME or ASIO.I've tried most of the normal suggestions on a Google search for a slow Adobe Audition.Any ideas? - Jeff
Audition 2025. Have been recording all day. Audition crashed out on me, since then when I go back in to record, I can set up my session but upon hitting record, the timeline is jumping maybe 0.1s for every real life second. Audio is no longer recording, just the odd bit of hiss. Have done a full uninstall/reinstall via Creative Cloud, cleared out the AppData folder, held down Shift when opening, tried multiple different recording devices and all the same. If I open an existing audio file, I can edit that no issues, I just cannot record into Audition. Recording into Windows Sound Recorder, MS Teams etc. all fine. Found one similar post on Reddit, 8 months old, but no fix on there. This is with Audio hardware set to MME as it always has been. If I set to WASAPI, the timeline goes back to normal speed but everything sounds robotic. youtu.be/sZKfhH3sCwc?si=MqMaED482cSqth8E
Hi guys, For some reason, I cannot save or export my multitrack session, all options are greyed out. I can, however, go to Multitrack> Mixdown session to new file to export it, but I obviously would like to save my sesx file. My tracks are all set to master. When I was editing, my audio hardware preferences were set to my headphones, which I have since disconnected and set back to my laptops hardware for both output and input - I'm wondering has this anything to do with it? Ive set it back and connected my headphones again, but still no joy. I'm also running 13.0.4 software. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
I bought my 3.0 sometime between 2003-2008. I have the original disk. I have used this program forever. Recently my computer died. I bought a new one and installed from the disk. I used the Serial nUmber, but now it wants an activation code. Am I screwed?
Hi I imported an .xml project in audition and started working at the project. I realized that some clips should be in stereo but its sounds in mono. So I created all news stereo track and replaced the old ones (that were mono by default), but this didn't solved the problem. Now if from the multitrack project I doulbe click on the clip (the one that sounds mono but I repat it's a real stereo one proof is if I open the file with an external audio player) I see this:as you can see Audition recognise it's stereo, the problem is that one channel is grayed out by default for the stereo clips I have in my project.how to solve this problem please?I'm on a project for a indy documentary and I'm working by a month it's very important for me to fix this issue.thx so much,Dan
Hi. I have two audio tracks, let's say audio track a and audio track b where track a has the length Ta and track b has the length Tb. Track a is composed with segments like Sa1Ta1 + Da2Ta2 + Sa3Ta3 + Da4Ta4… Track b is composed with segments like Sb1Tb1 + Db2Tb2 + Sb3Tb3 + Db4Tb4… Where segment Sa1Ta1 has the duration Ta1, segment Sb1Tb1 has the duration Tb1, segment Da2Ta2 has the duration Ta2… so on. Segment Sa1Ta1 is similar in content to people's hearing with segment Sb1Tb1 but the length of Ta1 is not equal to Tb1, in other word the 2 segments is different in speed. Segment Da2Ta2 is different in content with segment Db2Tb2 and the duration Ta2 is different with Tb2 too. (Abbreviation: S for similar, D for different, T for time, a for track a and b for track b) And so on. Now I want to compare and split the 2 audio tracks into segments. Let's say Sa1Ta1, Da2Ta2, Sa3Ta3… for track a and Sb1Tb1, Db2Tb2, Sb3Tb3… for track b. After tha
I am having issues getting audio to record in Audition with my new BlueYeti (USB) mic. I know that the mic works as I can see the levels moving but it’svery faint. Is there a setting in Audition that I need to be aware of? I havetried in both the multi-track and in the wave form. I have gone to the audiopreferences and the new mic is showing up and is in the record options box. I’m working off a laptop running windows 7. I have even uninstalled Audition and loaded it again.
I'm looking to split each channel out of my Pioneer XZ into an Adobe Audition Multi Track session so it's easier to edit each track from a DJ mix using an iRig Stream..... But I can seem to get it to work. I use to be able to do this out of an older Pioneer mixer into Abelton Live. I've trawed through youtube and can't find anything to solve this. Please help.
