Hi, I am trying to process a .NEF file. The image displayed in Camera RAW has lower resolution when opened with Windows Photos. Did Camera RAW scale down my image? Can i get the same resolution as Windows Photos. Any help appreciated. I can provide the image if neccessary

Hi there, I'm just processing some pictures here and wondering where the 'Basic' tab has gone within Camera Raw? (usually situated at the top where the red dot in the attached picture is) It's the place where pretty much every adjustment I use on pictures is situated, including saturation, vibrance, dehaze highlights etc etc. At the moment, without the basic tab, I have to keep opening different tabe separately, which is making workflow when dealing with multiple pictures a bit of a pain. When selecting the healing tool (B) the zoom tool is sometimes selected and requires another press of B to actually get to the healing tool. It's quite an annoying bug as when I'm working quickly having to check what tool is actually selected breaks my flow.

The graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error.  Due to a run-time error , GPU acceleration has been disabled for the remainder of the session.  Why this happen after update ?

Lightroom and Camera Raw are not working with the AI-powered object selection tool. Please see the attached video to view the error occurring. Hello,After I replaced my GPU from 1050 Ti to 4070, I expected an improvement in performance, but instead got crashes, out of video memory errors. I'm on the latest drivers, tried to reinstall both Studio and Game-ready Drivers and the issue still happens. Does anyone know the solution?

I've had Photoshop/Lightroom subscription for 6 years and never had a problem with Camera Raw until just now. Running Windows 10.. In Photoshop, when I select the Camera Raw Filter, Photoshop just hangs. Camera Raw does not appear at all. I can get over this by pressing ESC that returns control of Photoshop.  I have done all the normal preference setting changes, turned off Graphics Card processing, allocated 10GB to Camera Raw and cleared the cache. Nothing. Power reboot, nothing.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop to the latest version, but my Creative Cloud just says Camera Raw is up to date at V15.2 and does not provide for me to update it directly. Nevertheless, I have tried reinstalling Camera Raw from the Adobe webste and this says that it installs ok. I cannot find the Camera Raw executable anywhere in the Abobe program files folders and assume that it is integrated with Photoshop and not a separately executable program. Without Camera Raw, P

Anyone else having issues with Camera Raw since the new update. I've done the same thing a million times and today - I went into camera raw - tried to select the background to make adjustments and it said it "unable to select the background in this photo" so I tried selecting the subject... same thing! HELP!  cloud Adobe Photoshop 2025 (26.0), Raw 17.0.1... Last update. I had to reload 2024 to work. These recent updates are truly bumming me out!  

I have the latest version of ACR.  I use a Wacom pen as well as a mouse.  I have the setting to use my GPU. I try to us Generative AI and I only get a rectangle with both the pen and the mouse.  I tried right click, I tried closeing the program and restarting.  I do not see an overlay, I cannot brush anything.  There is just the rectangle. How do I fix this?

Following updating to the current versions, opening a Sony ARW file in camera raw set to sRGB displays the colors as oversaturated (not color managed).  Immediately opening the file, with no edits, in photoshop displays the colors correctly (workspace: sRGB) on a windows 11 HDR-on system. If I apply Camera Raw as a filter to the image in PS, the colors are once again oversaturated/incorrect when displayed in ACR.   Enabling/disabling GPU acceleration has no effect on this issue. I did not have this problem in November.  I'm not sure which Dec update broke for me.

Hi,since the latest version (using masks) i cannt get the brushes (camera raw)  to work. Objects , radials, linears, etc works fine. It is just the brushes does do what i want.Is there a simple intructions on how to use the brushes? regards Jan

Hi All,In Camera Raw Under Optics, Profile, Use Profile Corrections, the "Use Profile Corrections" used to automatically find my Nikon lenses whenever I opened a RAW file.  Now I have to initiate it with every file.   I shoot mainly in RAW so this is quite annoying. Is there a way to have it automatically open the Use Profile Corrections and find my lenses?   If you have an answer I will be eternally grateful. Regards, Scottish HorseLady

Good morning, I have a problem with Camera Raw. When opening .ORF files, the edges of the images are cropped, both horizontally and vertically: so, part of the photo is lost! I checked the Camera Raw cutter and it is set to maximum. My camera is an OM System OM 1 Mark II. The image format is 4/3. The inconvenience is definitely unpleasant, I don't know how to remove the malfunction that does not allow Camera Raw to correctly manage the images from my camera. Can somebody help me? Thank you

Camera Raw 14.0.1.952 Clicking on the gear icon to access the Workflow options where I want to use and create a preset that applies true neutral black & white vs the default Monochrome option which is still an RGB image with irregular RGB values.  When I select Color Space, the dropdown menu of profile choices doesn't list Grayscale or Gamma 2.2 which  will cut out all color.  Is there a way to add a profile or a better way to get a Grayscale?

Can someone please help. Since my latest Adobe update I cannot access my saved settings on camera raw. I believe they are in my Appdata/roaming/adobe file, but there seems to be no way to access this. Is it a hidden file? They used to come up automatically, but now it just accesses a general file folder which does not have the .xmp files in them. 

I bought a Sony A7iv in December and I have had constant issues editing photos in lightroom/camera raw. I am running the current version of camera raw (11.1 Camera Raw 14.1) and shooting uncompressed raw files in the camera. The issue I'm having is whenever I add clarity or boost the shadows or boost the exposure, I begin to get hundreds of white pixels in the shadows of the image to the point of being unpublishable. I've made sure I'm not shooting in any picture profiles and DRO is off in the camera. I've called both Sony and Adobe support. Sony had me open the raw files Imaging Edge - their proprietary software - and the issue didn't show up so they told me the won't help me. Adobe said can't do anything but the issue might get resolved whenever camera raw is updated. As a final test, I opened the images in Capture 1 and the white pixels aren't their but the image is so soft I wouldn't consider the image usable. I've attached screen captures and a .jpg export

In previous versions of ACR, I was able to use the trackpad/scroll wheel to navigate an image while using the adjustment brush tool. This was especially useful when zoomed in for detail work. However, in version 12.3 the trackpad only adjusts the size of the brush. There does not seem to be any way to navigate the image without switching to the hand tool, which unselects the current adjustment layer. Is there a way to revert to the original trackpad/scroll wheel behavior or a way to keep the adjustment layer selected after switching to the hand tool?
