Regarding meeting content such as PowerPoint or PDF files, when they are uploaded to a meeting are they downloaded on the participants PC, then used during the meeting? I'm looking at a limited connectivity situation where voice communication may only be possible.
Hello,I am a lecturer at a university and required to use my webcam for webinars.I have a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 machine and a logitech c920 webcam. The webcam works on all other platforms, Skype, Microsoft Camera and Logitech software. However video appears black on Adobe Connect. The webcam doesnt even light up. However the Microphone works fine with Connect.Could someone please advise?Kind regards.
Hello forum,I have a question. I am developing a platform for online training . The courses will be live webinars and each courses will be made of ten lesson. I would like to use Adobe Connect but I need to know one thing about the link generation.Can I create multiple links at the same time, in order to place them in a dashboard? Does these links have an expiration or Can I use them for a long time. I would like to use these links over and over without changing them.any suggestion is appreciated.Thank youArianna
HelloFrom my meetings, click on open on a meeting that I am host, loads the adobe connect. I am showing as a participant and not as an host and the top menu is not available. ThanksMoshe
Hi,I am looking to use Adobe Connect on my iMac and then want to share my iPad screen . The iPad will be using a note taking app so students can see me annotation notes.Does anyone know if this is possible?Thanks in advanceRob
I am currently taking online learning courses that use adobe connect as the medium of interaction between instructors and students. I use the link from the instructor to try to open the adobe connect seminar, and it redirects me to a page that states I need Adobe Flash Player 13.0 or higher. I try to download the Flash Player, and it says that Flash Player 32 is already installed. Then I go to try to enable Flash Player, and it states that Flash is already allowed on all sites. Then I attempt to test the Flash Player, and says my Flash Player is disabled. I have tried this process repeatedly on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome, but I cannot figure out the solution. I have updated my graphics card, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling these programs, but haven't had any luck. Please help!
Does Connect allow two way video conferencing so that all participants can see each other? Or is it just presenter?
We are trying to clean up our User Groups so we are creating reports (Reports > Learner and then changing drop-down menu to Group) and then sending them out to be validated by our offices but I noticed that there are users that are not showing up in these reports, even though when I go to the particular User Groups to see all the members I can see them. However, if I use the Adobe Web Services and the APIs they do show up. Would it be because these particular users have not taken any courses?
I need to identify if a specific user is a member of the built-in group Administrators. I expend quite some time on the documentation List of all WebServices APIs for Adobe Connect but couldn't find any service that would return this information.Does anybody have some light to share?
Our live webinar event is tomorrow. We have a normal, 30-page size PowerPoint document which is the document we're sharing as our webinar. However we cannot get through it. The meeting share continually crashes.
I recently started using Adobe Connect as a guest. I was able to connect to the first meeting without problems but was logged out of it towards the end.For the past two weeks, I have not been able to join the weekly meetings as my connection gets stuck at "connecting to server" or "connecting to alternative server". Any suggestions on how to make this work please?
Hi all,Regarding CVE-2018-19718, I have a user that only requires the free base install to view webinars.As I've discovered when putting it on my own computer, the version number for this iteration of Connect is totally different to the ones referred to in the bulletin (starting 2019...). This leads me to 2 questions:Does this vulnerability apply to this version of Adobe Connect?If so, when is patching anticipated?I did try to get an answer out of the Chat support but the agent timed out on me after 20 minutes. I don't want to risk installing it on a user's machine and getting bodied by the licensing team for installing software with known vulnerabilities, or go purchasing unnecessary licencing for something that requires temporary use.TIA
Adobe Connect automatically records then plays back across meeting audio - how to stop this? It seems that it only happens when you ask the system to call you rather than if you dial in - however it's very frustrating and I would have to include a full list of the dial in numbers in meeting agenda, also ask them specifically not to receive a call from the system. I have just had a very disrupted meeting as the recording reaches its limit and automatically lays back across normal audio. It has happened a few times. How to prevent this? Thanks. It's difficult to tell which version of the app I have, too...
I know how and where to Delete uploaded files and documents. However, when I play back a Recorded session, to make available to customers, I noticed a pdf document available to Download. This was from a prior internal training session for that meeting Room. I deleted that file from my inventory. Yet it still appears in the recording. Is it possible to remove this from the recording? the add participant button is disabled and I can't figure out how to get it to work. I've read and reread the help file and I know I'm doing it the right way. Is there another way to add participants? I don't think so but I'm open to ideas.

Hello!We frequently have issues with sharing Adobe Connect link recordings.When we sent the recording link to our clients they report the following problems:1. Every time I click on launch, in both Chrome and Microsoft edge, it goes to the page with the video for a few seconds and then reverts to https://wavetrack.adobeconnect.com/system/get-player Even though I have triple checked adobe flash player is installed in chrome and edge.2. The link is not playing on my iPad, iPhone? Even though I installed the Flash Player.How can we help our clients? We are at a loss as we have no idea how else to help them?Any support from people who solved these issues would be greatly appreciated.
Hello,I was informed by my helpdesk that there is an increase in calls from students saying they don't have scores from the Post Tests they have taken in Connect. I have verified that Connect does show them in the class for the duration, but the scores show the student as a “Not Taken”. A couple of days later the student is trying to look at his/her score in the LMS and see nothing, hence the call to the helpdesk. The student reported that they completed the VCT with no apparent technical issues. We are using Virtual Classrooms for the training and are on version 9.8.01. We did a analysis of a couple of the VCT courses and found 4.5% of the learners are receiving this ”Not Taken” score.Has anyone experience this high of a “Not Taken” score?Jeff

Hello all,I'm looking for the best way to manage multiple administrative groups. My company has 13 divisions with over 13,000 users The IT division has a training department that will utilize Adobe Connect to provide training to other divisions. The majority of their training is open to all the divisions, however they occasionally preform division specific training. For their convenience I created a group for each division.Here's my problem: I have 10 to 20 users moving between departments every other day. At the moment I check my synchronization logs daily for changes and move users between groups as needed. I feel that this is not a practical way to manage these groups long term, and as far as I can tell, there isn't a way to easily audit users in these groups. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to tackle this?
An issue popped up last week for one of our students with the caption pod. She said on her end it looked like the caption pod was grayed out like it does before it's connected, although we could see the captions streaming just fine. She's using the same computer she has been using for a couple of years, and so I suggested she make sure Adobe Connect and Flash were both updated, which she did. Yet for the next class, she had the same issue. I closed out the caption pod, relaunched it, and connected the stream again, after which she could see the captions.She didn't have class Monday, and her next class is tomorrow, and so I wanted to find out if anyone else has experienced this and what you did to resolve it in case the same thing happens again and in case relaunching the caption pod doesn't work.
I am trying to download adobe connect app on my chrome book but the app is not working

I have been able to combine a medical file up until recently, comprised of 10 pdf document notes and approximately 8 photos into a "binder" file. Now it creates a binder with 1 note copied 10 times along with all the individual photos. As far as I know nothing changed except possibly since the computer updated, but I'm not sure if it predated the update. I have tried several approaches using Tools->combine while in Acrobat and then selecting files, or "select all" in the documents then right click and "combine files in Acrobat," and then no matter what I do I watch as the program seemingly puts all files into the binder (watch as it checks off each note, and then I double check the pictured documents to make sure they are different notes). Then I click on "combine," and I always get 10 copies of one document instead of the 10 different documents.
