The add-in keeps crashing on my MacBook Pro running Yosemite. It opens and starts running just fine but seems to lock-up after 6 or so minutes. I have to force quit it and restart it, but the problem just returns. Is this a known problem, and is there a work-around?MORE INFO: The add-in was sharing audio but nothing else. I had a browser window open on the same Mac so I could monitor the audio feed. There were no signs of bandwidth problems as not only were the in-room meters all green but the browser continued just fine as did the browsers of two other hosts using the same router in the same webinar room and the same physical room. The add-in wouldn't crash per se but would instead simply lock-up. The dreaded Mac spinning beachball of death would appear and the audio feed would be lost.arThe problem appears to have gone away once I disconnected the two PCs on the same router AND once I deleted and re-installed the add-in. Did either of these have something to do with the problem? Don'
HiWe are recording series of live webinars in Connect. We can download in MP4 format onto the hard drive. However we would like to further edit these in Premiere Pro. All imports into premiere show audio synch problems on import. Think this might be a variable frame rate issue I have tried to run it through Handbrake to convert to constant bitrate before import but seems not to make any difference.Any ideas?
Morning AllI have been working with Google and Adobe on another form, but I was ask to reach over in this community to ask this question. I want to know what the effect flash being turn off will have on Adobe Connect, we currently use it for meetings and training sessions across our company. We also use it to playback training sessions for people that need to watch an event on their own time. With Flash being automatically turn off in Google Chrome, will this cause issue with Adobe connect working overall? Or can Adobe connect run with out the Flash run time environment, and just work on a normal coded HTML5 site? I trying to figure this out for our company, because how we use Adobe web product so much, and need to know what changes we need to make when this change comes to Google browser. We know it will also be coming to IE and EDGE soon enough, but if we getting figure now we will not be hurting later. Below is the link to the other community form, please let me know if there is any
How is the pricing of the burst pack? For example ;if ı have a license limit of 100 users, and extra 50 users join the room for 60 minutes, how is this minute pricing calculation ?
i have installed CQ 6.1 in one machine and connect installer(10.0) in another machine.i have changed custom.ini and edited the cq_publish and cq_author url.In CQ 6.1 i have uploaded connecteventapp.zip and some package /c1/7.now in CPS, event management tab , i am able to see templates. but not able to edit it give error 505 error.
Has anyone else experienced the screen sharing not working? I have tested this on several Macs with multiple OSs, and browsers. I can initiate a screen share but nothing displays. It is acting like what you see if you only share a single window except nothing displays at all. When selecting what to share I can only choose desktop. The options to select a program or window do not have any options. On the windows machines I have tested on, as soon as the screen share is initiated, it quits as if the share has been stopped.
We want to use Adobe Connect for webinars, but we're an entirely Mac shop and our ppt presentations have numerous embedded film clips. All "kinetic" aspects of the ppt presentations in addition to the video clips are disabled when shown through Connect on our Macs. The result is just static slides and no videos at all.Someone suggested we process the ppt presentation through Adobe Presenter and that would keep the video functionality, but there isn't a version for Macs, right? Someone else suggested Adobe Captivate. Not sure what to do. We don't want to have to recreate these presentations, we just want to be able to keep their original functionality when presenting in a Connect window (either Share Screen or Share File).Many thanks for any help you can give us!
I have a monthly presentation where I display a PowerPoint to a large group of people in my conference room. At the same time, I'm sharing the PowerPoint and a webcam video feed to people outside of the room/in the field. To display the PowerPoint to people in the conference room, i have another computer that is connected to the projector, join the meeting as a guest and then maximize the pod showing the PowerPoint. The control computer can then advance the slides and force presenter control to share any videos. This way, the people in the room don't also see the live video feed. It works okay but it seems like there could be another way. Anyone have any other ideas?
We use the event module in Adobe Connect and have recently found that the report doesn't list the attendance status correctly. The report used to show everyone who logged in on the day of the event as having "attended." When we looked at a report for a session we held last week, the report only showed the people who attended during the scheduled time as having attended. About two-thirds of our audience joined before the scheduled start time of 12:00 and weren't counted by the report, even though their polling question responses were listed correctly. This seems like a bug that was introduced by the last update. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a fix scheduled?

Hello. We have a problem when recording video offline. If you browse through the online video, with sound so good. But if the display after recording the sound disappears at the same place. Were recorded from different computers. Tell me what to do?
When someone makes me a presenter I cannot share my screen. I have a small 12 inch monitor. After choosing the monitor I cannot access the share button at the bottom of the page. The modal window is too big for my screen and it does not scroll. Does anyone have any suggestions for work arounds?
We create events that clients can sign up for, and we then have to go in approve the clients. We do this through the client management tab in the individual events. All other events are working correctly just not this one event. Can someone help me figure out how to fix it? Thank you!
I have imported a video in Adobe Presenter 11 and when I go to the view presentation the video plays fine. When I upload it to Adobe Connect, there's no video. The play bar is there, but the background is blank and it doesn't show or play. I clicked the box to upload both video and attachments, but it doesn't play the video no matter what adjustments I make. Can you help me?
Does anyone know of any issues with Adobe Connect and Windows 10? I have someone who says her camera constantly freezes.
Our new conference room equipped with BlackMagic Intensity Pro cards will not work with the room's 720p video scheme. When reduced to NTSC composite video inputs, Skype works fine, but Acrobat Connect shows only the center of the video feed, and no video at all when the video pod's wide-screen option is chosen. We've tried upgrading to Flash 10.2.152.14 and tried Acrobat Connect 8 with the same results. Any ideas?BTW, Blackmagic tech support consists of "we never thought of using our card with anything other than video editing software". Sigh...With much struggle I've managed to get Osprey 100 cards to work with connect under Vista. Does anyone have a card recommendation to replace the Blackmagic Intensity Pro? If the card will process a 720p input and downsize it to work with Adobe Connect, it would solve all my problems, but even any card that works with NTSC composite signals would be a big improvement over "Blackmagic".
I'm trying to use a Blackmagic's Desktop Video 10.3.7 (with an Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt) with Connect and need some help. The video works quite nicely but Blackmagic tells me that their audio will not interface with Connect. Does anyone have experience using an Intensity Shuttle and/or Blackmagic Desktop Video 10.3.7? Has anyone discovered a work around to get Connect to see this audio?If not, can anyone recommend an external capture device that will accept an SD composite NTSC video and RCA audio signals and get them into Connect?Thanks in advance.
For the last few months I have not been able to get high quality video on the Mac when using anything except the built-in webcam. The 20 fps video that I've been feeding via Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle looks perfectly fine on the Mac that's hosting the feed, but the participants are all seeing about 10 fps, if that. Connect support told me to use the browser as there's a known bug in the add-in, and that did improve the quality since the add-in was only giving me 1 fps. Is anyone else having this problem or anything similar?
I lost my program and how do I get it back on my PC.
I just bought a new computer with windows 10. I am using Fixfire as a browser and tried to view some school recordings. It says I have to download the program so I did. It installed but would not give me the open to run and will not open the videos. Am I missing something?
Hi there I was just wondering if Adobe have, or are working on any kind of Screen recording software like fraps, Action or Bandicam. I know a lot of YouTubers already use several Adobe Products to create their videos and was looking into starting a channel of my own and thought I'd see whether I could leverage my CC Subscription to aid me with that side of things as well. If not I think it would be a fantastic idea for Adobe to look into as YouTube is big business these day's and many people make their living of recording gaming, tutorials and the like. I think it would only be suiting to have such software (if it does not already exist) that integrates with premier, photoshop, illustrator etc like all good Adobe software does and maximize productivity.
Has anyone integrated ShoreTel audio conferencing with Adobe Connect? If so, I would love some tips on how to do it.
Hi,i wonder if the webinars for Adobe connect which take place every week form monday to friday are available as a video recording, too.The times the webinars take place are quite inconvenient for me (6-7 p.m.). I would prefer to watch them as videos in advance andperhaps attend a specific session afterwards if I have questions about a certain webinar/topic.I already browsed the "Adobe Connect" youtube channel, but there are no videos with 20+ minutes in this channel and the webinars are approx. 60 mins each.I would really appreciate help on that.
I tried both Chrome and Safari same issue. Switched to an iSight camera from the inbuilt FaceTime - same issue. Skype is fine.Reinstalled the Connect AddIn, gave permission for the unboxed plugin, still it's running in ultra slow mo.
Hello all,I am unfamiliar with Adobe Connect; my users watch training webinars. We do not purchase the software, we only watch webinars not create them.Quick question: Can Adobe Connect install and uninstall itself? I see on my network that it gets installed then normally uninstalled the next day. I know for sure that these users would be unable to uninstall the product themselves.Adobe Connect does not require admin rights to install? I just want to make sure this isn't some hack or something. Thank you for your time and consideration.
