I am running Adobe Connect on a MAC using OSX 10.9.5 and have just installed the latest version of the add-in ( 11.9.971.247) to try to fix the problem. Every time I adjust the volume with F11 or F12 I get a white screen and the message 'Plug-in Failure'. I have also set the add-in to run in Safari in 'unsafe mode' but this has not fixed the problem.I've been running Connect on this MAC for many months now without the problem but cannot understand why it has suddenly started. Any help or ideas would be gratefully appreciated.Thanks - Chris
Articulate Storyline says you can track learner progress using Adobe Connect, however it does not display the course in an actual Meeting. When we were testing out a course, it requires a user name and password, but we only have 5 hosting seats. Is there a way students can take the test through connect without having to have a connect log in?
Customization; i want to change the adobe connect to my organization name. It is possible or not.Thanks
I would like to post our webinar replay minus the Connect interface. Is there a way to crop the recording to only show the slides, from within Connect, or do I have to download the FLV or mp4 and crop it in an external editor? One option of course is to just overlay our slides from PP over the recording and sync it to the audio. This of course takes extra time, so preferably, cropping the image prior to output is most preferred.Thanks
Is there a problem with Adobe Connect 9 and Windows 8 screen sharing? I've notice there is a about a lag of 2secs or more when I share my screen in Windows 8. i.e. If I open a Window or do anything, the participants don't see the change until 2 to 3 secs later.I've ruled out IE and Chrome because they both have the same problem. I also ruled out the machine because if I run a VM Ware virutual machine with Windows 7 on the Windows 8 machine, then share the screen in the VM Windows 7, there is no lag.
Hi there,I have created some courses in Adobe Captivate and have published them to my trial Adobe Connect account for testing.Now after creating a virtual classroom there is the function to "share a course", however my courses do not appear. It says "only supported course formats will appear". What are these supported course formats? I have looked on the web and in the help files, but cannot seem to find an answer?
Has anyone else experienced this? My latency jumps up to 6 or 7 seconds as soon as I start to speak on Adobe Connect. This frequently results in the connection being lost. It worked without problem in 2012.
Have experienced intermittent plugin failures in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. All on same machine. Any suggestions? Have read about in process/out of process Flash issues in prior versions. Also "sandboxing" and security enhancements to earlier Safari causing probs. Anything recent ? Is there a good guide to "all" sources of this problem and how to troubleshoot?
I have tried all of the suggestions but I can't isolate why my adobe connect meeting crashes whenever I try to share my screen. I meet all the system requirements, have updated the add-in, removed the add-in, then updated it again, updated adobe flash, changed the screen resolution to the suggested size, multiple browsers, etc. but still no luck. The plug in allows me to use the microphone but not to screen share, it crashes every time. In the Adobe Meeting connection test, it tells me that the add-in couldn't be installed on the harddrive, I should check the available HD again. So I installed the add-in manually and rebooted. This is not detected by the Meeting Connection test however... Any ideas? - Thanks in advance!
Hello,I am trying to install Adobe Connect pro 9 on a windows 2008 r2 server.However , after the installation is complete, the platform doesn`t work.When I try to connect to localhost:8510 the page doesn`t load at all.Any ideea what seems to be the problem ? Hi, yesterday (1 September 2014) was launched an update for Jaydeep's Recording Repair Assistant, the problem is that when i go to download it, i need to login on my.adobeconnect.com and i dont have any user for login for download it.I work with about 1000 recordings of adobe connect every week, and always we have 3 or 4 with problems with audio or video that we repair with Jaydeep's Recording Repair Assistant.Can anyone help us with an alternative link for download the update of Jaydeep's Recording Repair Assistant? My upgrade is currently scheduled during our business day in India. We already have training planned using the Connect room. Can we please have our Connect 9.3 upgrade moved so that it will end at 8 pm CT on Sunday instead of starting at 8 pm CT on Sunday? We are on the Oct. 19 schedule. What do I need to do to get this changed?
Has Adobe ever thought about adding the functionality to move a pod onto a second (dual) monitor while inside an Adobe Connect room? We currently use simulators in our courses and it would be nice if our students could detach the simulator pod from the main room and move it to their secondary monitor.Thank you,Luis Duran
The description for the Connect Pro MP3 Player states: "--- NOTE: Do not use with Adobe Connect 8 ---"Is there any intention of updating this for version 8, or is the capability provided some other way? I find it nice to have sound in a lobby so participants can set their volume and have found this player to be a good source for this.Karl_S

Hi,I can view size = 35MB, resolution = 1920X1080 , bit rate = 17405kbps .mp4 content,but can not view size = 140MB, resolution = 1280X720, bit rate = 1403kbps content. What is the limit ? Which supports the codecs?I would be glad if you can help.Duplicate post was removed by: Jorma Jennings
Greetings. How do I silence the sounds made when a person enters or leaves a conference via phone. Especially the loud "thud" made when leaving, it's very distracting.
trying to start with connect. the tutorial screens are different than mine. all I am trying to do is set up a meeting room and be able to add email invitees. only options seem to be hosts, participants, etc., that are pre-populated.
Our account should allow 3 simultaneous hosts, but it is only allowing 2.It says we have reached our maximum number of hosts.When I check the admin of the account it reads as it should: 3 hosts.Customer is waiting. Adobe nowhere to be found.Anyone have this issue or a resolution?Thanks,Seth
