bonjour, j'ai une fenêtre pour essayer IA générative qui s'est affiché sur mon illustrator, aucune croix pour fermer, est ce que quelqu'un a réussi à fermer cette fenêtre svp ?

I've used illustrator on mac for years with no issues. Now, on widows, I am having a problem simply grabbing objects and moving them wiht the selection tool unless I remove the bounding box (ctrl + shift + b) or zoom in considerably. When I click *anywhere* on, e.g., this small arrow I've created, it will either grab an endpoint or try to rotate it. What's going on here? Is there some sort of sensitivty I can turn down? This make AI so slow and frustrating to use that I will have to switch to something else if it can't be fixed. Changing the seleciton tolerance in preferences > selection & anchor display does nothing.I am running windows 11 on a lenovo machine with intel cpu and nvidia gpu. hello,i have turned on data recovery in illustrator and created a folder to link the files to - adobe - autoback illustrator.every time my computer crashes, and i go into the folder to locate the recovered file, nothing appears to be saved in there.Ive un ticked the hidden box and still nothing. ive gone into users and app data and illustrator for data recovery and still nothing.Is there another place/folder this could have been located and sent to? instead of the folder i created myself at the start? ive lost a lot of work and need it back ASAP.The illustrator data recovery has been and still is ticked on - so it must be saved somewhere!please help!!!!!

Hi,When I export and then open a new tab and click on place and then update the first image, click export again and go to the new tab, no message pops up that the image has changed, I have the latest version.Previously it worked and stopped working in the new versionsThanks for the helpers

I'm very new to illustrator& I'm trying to learn my way around. The main thing I want to do is create patterns for leather crafting. To do that I need the rulers & grids. When I click the view tab the show ruler& show grid isn't there like the help sections says it should be. I know there's keyboard shortcuts but there's way to many of those to remember.. Also when I add a shape like rectangle or rounded corner rectangle(the 2 I'll use the most) the grid disappears behind the object is there a way to keep it on top?

I am preparing for the Adobe Illustrator certification exam and seek the most reliable sources to identify all the objectives that need to be mastered before the exam. I have purchased a practice test from Certiport; however, I am still unsure if I am ready to take the real exam.

I am looking for alternatives to Ilustrator due the illegal (Swedish Law) busniess practive of locking customers in for one year with the sneaky "Monthly payment but secretly it is one year agreement" This is illegal in swedish law due toA) Information not beign clearly displayedB) During the canceling period, access to Illustrator access is removed In swedish law, it it NOT enough to provide this information in small print. It needs to be clearly visible and informed.   Adobe needs to change this for Swedish customers. And all customers, if they wish to keep them.  

If I leave the application open to return to my work the next day, inevitably it's frozen and I need to force quit.  Is this a known problem or something I'm doing wrong? 

In the tutorial Scripts shows many options, whereas in my app options are limited. What is the reason for that? How to fix it?

 A  few years ago I designed pages for my ABC book using Adobe illustrator and now I want to make a book. So, from what I figured out is ...I need to place the PDF paged  into graphic frames in indesign! Am I right, is there a better way, or am I wrong altogether ??  My "dancing" text is contained in the  PDF pages which I created with Adobe Illustrator. Do I need to   outline text prior to placing into Indesign? I have read in LuLu that not having the text this may cause  printing errors. Therefore I'm wondering if I have to redo all 26 pages and put the text  directly into indesign on top of the graphics ???not sure  what to do? Also, I want my graphics/pictures to cover the entire pages of my book (No margins!) How would I do this? TY for all help !!!

I add an anchor point to my shape (triangle) and and move the anchor point to manipulate the shape. The line on the shape moves but yet the original line is still visible. How do i fix this cuz I want to manipulate my shapes without the line being visible because it is disrupting my work flow.

I have a logo, i simply want to invert the colors, make the background blue and the text writing white. i tried to use the fill bucket tool, but i get this error The selection contains objects that cannot be converted. Live Paint groups can only contain paths and compound paths. Hola, cuando quiero abrir Illustrator me salta este cartel que dice "La ejecucion de codigo no puede continuar porque no se encontro dxcore.dll". Adjunto imagen.Ya desinstale todas las instancias de Microsoft Visual C++ y en en las secciones Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 y 2022 de Microsoft, descargué x64: vc_redist.x64.exe.  

I have a Macbook Pro M1 16" and a 27" LG 4k  arranged so the LG is above the Macbbok monitor. WHen working on a drawing in the upper monitor (all the palettes are in the lower) an I right click to bring up the contextual menu to unlock guides, the menu shows up at the bottom of the lower LG monitor. About 4-5 versions back, this was not the case. The contextual menu should show up in the vicinity of where the mouse was clicked.

Just to preface: My illustrator is set on rgb and i have played with the color setting a MILLION times but the colors still look different from the original image. I have also went on adobe bridge and applyed monitor colors like someone on here suggested however nothing seems to be working.

I created transparent shadows in Photoshop.Saved (CMYK) as a .psd document.Opened it up in Illustrator and applied it under the main image.In Illustrator, it looks good (a slight darker shade of the background color).When opened up in illustrator, everything looks fine.Here's the problem. I had to also save it as a PDF.But when I open that PDF file, I get this grey shade either at the ends of the shadow or middle.Can this be avoided? This is a print file for packaging and I have to show the PDF to someone and this will look really misleading.

I usually use photoshop but im getting into illustrator for t-shirt designing. I have the M2 Mac Studio which I've had sense last year. I just started getting into illustrator (I'm completly new to it) and while doing various tasks while following some YouTube tutorials I noticed illustrator was moving very slow and had the beach ball loading many times where as the video I'm watching had no issues. Also when doing simple resizing of text and making patterns it got really laggy. I tried the 3d effects as well just to test how big of an issue it would be and it froze for a few minutes. I've used my mac for lots of video editing as well as photoshop without issue so I'm not sure what the problem is.My artboard is sized at 4,000 x 4,500 pixels.Also here's my specs.Apple M2 Max with 12‑core CPU, 38‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine64GB Ram2 TB hard driveHopefully someone can help as I don't know if it's a setting I have on or if it's my computer which it shouldn't be. I'm getting weird jagged edges when using the blend tool. I've tried 1) viewing on CPU, 2) turning off snap to grid, snap to pixel, etc. 3) increasing the steps to 400! which didn't do anything except seriously slow down my computer 4) restarting the whole kit and caboodle.My illustrator is up to date.Solutions?

For years I've been using the bounding box "centers" to place guides. Now, when I start to drag a guide, the "centers" of the bounding boxes disappear, so I can't place the guide. Because I draw lots of signs, this function is very useful to what I do, so without it I'm at a loss. Why was this feature removed?
