Hallo zusammenIch habe einen Kathalog mit der Version 14.5.1. mit um die 330 Fotos. Wenn ich unter "Entwickeln" und dann unter "Maskierung" das Werkzeug "Objekte" gebrauchen möchte, passiert folgendens:Wenn ich drauf klicke erscheint oben ganz normal das kleine Fenster "Masken", danach wähle ich mein Objekt aus. Es ladet, dann verschwindet das kleine Fenster und das Bild friert ein. Auch wenn ich auf andere Bilder wechsle, bleibt das vorherige eingefroren. Danach erscheint die Fehlermeldung, dass das Bild nicht bearbeitbar ist. (Der Ablauf ist auch Im Video "Problem-Lightroom" ersichtlich).Normalerweise sollte es einfach die Maske erstellen und nichts einfrieren lassen.Um danach wieder normal arbeiten zu können, muss ich einmal Lightroom komplett schliessen und neu aufstarten. Im Anhang:- Systeminformationen- Video, welches den Ablauf zeigt (Problem-Lightroom)

Hello there, even GPT could not help me with this so here I am with my issue: I reorganized my photo folders on my Macbook using finder under naive impression that if I clicked later in LR Classic update folder location everything wouold be fine including of course my edits etc etc. Unfortunately this is not the case. I have been trying all the suggestions that ChatGPT gave me to avail. One example of what I mean: I have 77 photos under one folder whose path is Canon_R5_Photos/Milan by night bla bla. Out of those photos only the 40 are recognized by lightroom the rest no. I tried update foilder location: no, I tried moving within the LR Classic and back: no, the only thing that works is by going one by one photo. With this folder, that would relatively ok, but witha folder that has 100s of photos this would be tedious. Any solutions? Suggestions?  Thanks in advance

when I try to sync photos with AI edits, I keep getting an error message that says "could not update AI settings for 1 photo" or however many photos I'm trying to do. Also happens when I hit the "previous" button to try ot sync that way. 

I had intel 7800X intel extreme CPU, and I upgraded to 10980XE about $1100but nothing changed, then from help, they told me to change GPU, I has nvidia 1070, I upgraded to nvidia 4070 12gb, nothing changed.... Also added new RAM 128 GB, same.... I spent more than 2000 usd, and nothing changes....  Update: changed cpu Fan and case, 3 x 420mm cpu fans (arctic freezer) and 6 x 420mm case fans.Lightroom Classic is super slow in latest versions, especialy buiding previews....  

In the latest updated of Lightrrom the denoise feature has gotten much smoother. Instead of saving a new DNG-file next to the originial image it does some internal magic. I have noticed thet the catalogue get huge though. It grows very rapidly. Mines has double the last few days of editing. This is a problem as the backups is also getting very large. I prefered haviing the DNG-file together with the picture not being backuped all the time. Why is this? Is there any way to get around this? Like removing some denoise data for older photos and being able to recreate it later if needed? Why does all this data gets saved into the backup?

I upgraded the hard drive on my PC a week ago. Prior to the upgrade, I uninstalled Lightroom 6. I did not think I would have any trouble reinstalling LIghtroom 6 on my new hard drive because I have the DVD version of the Lightroom 6 which I purchased back in 2017. After replacing my new hard drive, I tried to reinstall my Lightroom 6. The process of installing Lightroom did not seem to give me any trouble. I went through the process of logging into Adobe and entering my Adobe ID, entered the Lightroom 6 serial number and the installation process actually started as expected. In the end, it actually gave me the prompt that stated that Lightroom has been installed successfully. However, upon launching Lightroom 6, the Lightroom screen appeared but seemed to be "stuck" there. I would click on any "tab", e.g., Import, and the screen would "gray out" and the system would return that Lightroom 6 was "not responding". I appologise for the lenghth of this post. In the life of my PC (Win 11) it has experienced one major upgrade and two catastophic breakdowns. For the record these events were unrelated and spread of several years. The good news is that despite this I have not lost any data, mostly photo files.The bad news is that I now have multiple versions of the original folder structure stored on different hard drives  and therefore multiple versions of SOME individual files. In many cases the folders contain slightly different combinations of the files. I am using the LrC catalogues to locate the folder and files.At the momewnt I am opening indiviual folders and copying the file into a version of the same folder held on a differnt drive. This resulted in the recipeient drive being over loaded. On that basis I have invested in a 2TB Crucial X10 which has fixed the capacity problem but I am still left with an excrusiatingly slow process prone to me making a mistake. Is there any tweak or w

I’ve been working on my own preset that I want to start selling, but I’ve run into a question. When I include a skin mask (using color range) in the preset, it looks fine on some photos, but on others the skin ends up looking really bad—desaturated and unnatural. Do you think I should even include the skin mask in the preset, or would it be better to leave it out? Any suggestions or advice would mean a lot. Thanks so much!

I have extended my storage space on my laptop by adding an internal SDXC card (Sandisk 512GB Extreme MicroSDXC Card). I have dedicated this storage space to LR files.  I have beeen using LRC since 2020 mainly to edit my camera files. I am encounering sync problems now and getting a message thats preventing me from moving files.  I dont know how to repair the situation.  Is there a compatabilty problem with the card? I'm not techy, let me add.

My lightroom classic catalogue is corrupt - I get the message and corrupt and cannot be used until it is repaired. When i try repair I get the message 'The catalogue couuld not be opened due to an unexpected error. How Can I fix this please  

I cannot get lightroom classic to send emails.  Read all the articles.I have checked accesss to the sever and ports using terminal, and ports are not being blocked.Tried all the usuall stufff disabling virus checkers etc , to no avail.I keep coming back to setting outlook as the default mail app, still cant find out howto do this.I am using outlook with a hotmail account. Also tried a gmil account. Help !!!   

I'm running version 12.4 of Lightroom Classic and have found a possible bug. I can no longer "Clear History" on a group of selected photos. No matter how I attempt to clear history, I'm limited to clearing history, one photo at a time.   Earlier today, I had a live chat session with Adobe Support. The person I was working with asked permission to start a Bomgar session into my laptop to look at the issue. I welcomed the offer. In fact, I had LrC running with four photos selected. I had done a simple crop of one and applied the edit to the other three.   The support person asked me to demonstrate the problem. I had all four photos selected in the Library module. I opened the Develop module. All four were still selected in the thumbnail bar but, of course, only the first of the four was displayed. All this is normal.   When I hovered over the "X" in the "History" tab, the phrase "Clear All" appeared as usual. However, when I clicked on the "X", no dialog box opened asking

I import my images by year and month into a single catalog, matching the windows file structure. I have two duplicate years (2021 and 2025) which contain different month sequences. When I try to move a month folder from one into another I get "Could not complete folder move: Unknown error" or "Folder already exists".  The file structure in Explorer is normal. All images are in the correct place. Any clues how I can fix this?

I have read almost every post here on LR Classic Sync Issues - I have held down the option ket and attempted to rebuild the sync database but I cannot control how and when LR Classic syncs. Yesterday I set up a new folder and loaded 40 images. It synced fine. Today I set up a new folder and put an image in there and nothing happens. If I click the cloud symbol it has a check mark to say it synced. I see no sync activity listed, and online it has created the collection, but the image I put in the collection is missing. I have tried unchecking and rechecking sync with lightroom but nothing happens. I have wasted SOOO much time trying to get this to work reliably.Help! LR Classic 14.5.1MacOS 15.6.1

Running Lightroom Classic 14.4 on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra machine. Up until the 14.4 update, it was running very smoothly. Now, when making adjustments, it takes 5-7 seconds to load the next photo. Other times, it refuses to change a flag or color label. Even more times, I quit the app and it says it's still writing to XMP metadata, when it's clearly not.   Not sure how these major issues weren't caught before release. Pretty frustrating as a pro that my editing time has almost doubled because of this.   Tried optimizing the catalog, increasing cache size, to no avail.

Since updating to the new 13.3 Version of lighroom classic and 7.3 of lightroom my sync status appears to be stuck, stating 'Initializing Sync Data'. It has been stuck like this for the past 24hr's, although I have not left Lightroom running all that time, but it has been running for the past 4hrs with nil change. I did update my Lightroom Catalogue and have around 10k files in the cloud (mostly smart previews).  Is it just a waiting game or is there likely an error preventing further progress.  Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like it would work, but I haven't tried it.   Can you Import ... edit images ... then Export images ... using only a single hard drive.  TY Windows 11LrC 14.5.1  

I'm in library mode and trying to add the same series of keywords to a group of about 60 photos.  All these photos are highlighted at the bottom of my screen but one photo appears to be highlighted more brightly.  I've typed in a group of keywords in my sidebar and then clicked enter.  I thought that action should tag all 60 photos with the same keywords but it doesn't.  Only the brightly highlighted photo gets the keywords.  Surely there has to be a way to tag multiple photos with the same keywords all at once.  I've watched Cris Orwig's video on Adobe and am following the same steps he demonstrates but the keywords are only tagged to the one photo.  Am I missing something simple here? When the Preferences/Interface/Font size=150% the widget is too big for a laptop monitor, and the "OK" button is outside the visible area when the W11 Taskbar is visible. One needs to set the taskbar to "auto hide" in order to see the "OK" and "Restart Lightroom" buttons. That is an obvious bug, which must be fixed. Windows 11 Pro, Monitor size the very standard 1920x1200, scale is the (recommended) 125%.
