On Windows 11 using Lightroom Classic I select a set of photos and export as a catalog. I close LR, double click the newly exported catalog to open it, and LR immediately tells me that the catalog is corrupt. Every single time. All the catalogs are stored in my internal C: drive and all my photos are on an internal E: driveMod: Not a valid feature request - moving to Questions. 

Meu pc é está (AMD Ryzen 9 9900X de 12 núcleos) e 64 GB de RAM, além de um SSD NVMe e uma placa NVIDIA dedicada. Uma máquina dessas deveria exportar fotos voando, mas o lightroom não usa todo o potencial da maquina. Leva, aproximandamente, 15 minutos para exportar 1000 fotos, o processado não passada de 15% de uso. Já fiz todos os testes e nada mudou isso. ALGUÉM PODE AJUDAR?

HiMap module is not showing the map. (latest version LRC 15.5.1 release, camera raw 18.5.1) and I’m on Windows 11, with a triple 2k screens set-up. Everything else is working fine execpt for the Map screen.I already tried a few trick that I found on the internet, like relaunching Lightroom while being in the Library module instead of the Map module. I also tried delogging from Creative Cloud et relloging but the map still doesn’t show. My internet is working fine. Any idea what the problem could be and what should I do ? i use to have the map but do not anymore but I don’t realy know since when. ThanksBeatrice

Startar Lrc. Kommer upp Analyserar foton i övre vänstra hörnet Efter ca 10 sekunder avslutas Lrc utan felmeddelanden. Testat ca 20 ggr och samma sak händer varje gång. Startat om PC flertal ggr. Om jag byter flik till Framkalla så stoppas inte Lrc, bara om jag befinner mig i Bibioteksmodulen.Felet uppstod efter att jag startat ‘ta bort dubbletter’ som jag sen pausade.Har senaste versionen av Lrc.

Il Lr classic, for some months, some images do not sync completely.  They remain in a list viewable at “Web”.  It appears random, as similar images sync normaly.  All images are in one catalog only. on an external SSD.

people detection does not work in lightroom classic

I have multiple photos that are showing multiple recognized / named faces.For some photos I want to remove all of the named faces (mostly group photos, keeping the faces with single persons etc).I select each visible face rectangle in turn and click on the X in the corner and the face rectangle gets removed and the matching keyword is also removed from the keyword panel. This works until I get to the very last face on the photo, this last face rectangle goes away but the face keyword stays undeleted in the keywords panel, I need to manually delete the last keyword in the keywords panel. Why would it work for all the previous deletions but not the last one? I had my keywords panel closed before I realized why I seemed to keep missing removing these keywords on the photos when reviewing them later. I restarted Lightroom & PC and tried it with a new catalog with same issue in both.Using LrC 15.5.1 on Win11

I am working on a plugin that uses a machine vision to identify certain types of objects in a scene, similar to how Select Subject, Select Sky, Select People, works. I don’t have a lot of experience interfacing with Lightroom Classic’s masking system and I am looking for guidance on things like how best to access the base image to read from after cropping, or rotating, or heal/remove has been applied. Or if there is a better way that Lightroom uses natively that I can hook into.

I use the map feature to easily use my geotagged media (still and moving) as breadcrumbs in making map tracks for publications, It is very convenient to use Lightroom classic as a single repository for trip documentation and deducing where historic non-georeferenced photos were taken. I add geotags to photos pre-gps by comparing other photos that are in my collection add figuring out where it might be based on visual clues and other photos in the sample area shown on Lightroom’s map. I’d be devastated if Lightroom classic maps was dropped.Not a Feature Request: Moving to Questions (Moderator)

catalogs have been trouble as I move files to a separate hard drive…. no problem when I have done this in  the past but now LRc will not open..

Request for additional feature, or update of current feature, as Auto (Automatically straighten the photo) is not aligning angle for each of selected photos even if Auto sync option is enabled. Auto sync option apply same angle to all photos. Solutions Within Transformation (like Level) never return as good results.Alternative - offer a keyboard shortcut for this feature.This would drastically change work flow for many of action photographers with fast changing scenes. 

I use Lightroom classic 15.5.1 on a Mac with Taohe OS. I have som pictures that I deleted from one collection that was synced and added to another. They did not upload and now I coannot get these pictures to upload even as a part of a completly new collection. On the web they are not in the collection at all.

Unter Windows 11 kann ich mit Lightroom Classic 15.5 ein reproduzierbares GPU-/WDDM-bezogenes Problem beobachten, das nach längerer GPU-Nutzung in Lightroom dazu führt, dass DxO PureRAW 6 extrem langsam wird.System: Windows 11 Build 26100, Lightroom Classic 15.5, Camera Raw 18.5, NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB, Studio Driver 610.88, HAGS deaktiviert. Der Fehler ist auch mit GPU-Werkseinstellungen reproduzierbar.In einer frischen Lightroom-Sitzung läuft PureRAW normal: ungefähr 100–110 Sekunden für 15 RAF-Dateien, GPU-Leistungsaufnahme etwa 190–200 W, PureRAW hält dabei stabil einen GPU-Arbeitssatz von ungefähr 742 MiB.Später in derselben Lightroom-Sitzung kann PureRAW bei denselben Bildern und Einstellungen extrem langsam werden: 25–30 Minuten für dieselbe Verarbeitung, teilweise mit Restzeitanzeigen von mehreren Stunden. Hello,With LRC using Export to a TIFF file 16bit and Adobe RGB colour space I can’t read the file with Mirage Print. However, when editing the same file with PS and saving it as a copy with the same parameters as LRC I can read the file Mirage Print. This was working before I updated to the latest version of LRC Best Regards Mikael

I have had this issue since Lightroom 13.5 and was hoping it would eventually get fixed but it still hasn’t.On a Mac Studio M1 Ultra (MacOS 26.5.2 but it has happened on OS 15 onwards) when using “Export As Catalog” where I select “Include available previews” and export a relatively large amount of photos, the parent catalog will lose all of its previews requiring a deletion and regeneration of all standard previews.The exact number of photos being exported that causes the issue is hard to pin down but over 25,000-30,000 will almost always cause it. I can also make the issue appear by exporting a bunch of small catalogs that eventually total up to a larger number of photos (ie. exporting 4 catalogs of 6000 photos).During the export of the catalog, I will know the bug has occurred because it will skip the “copying previews” step of the “export as catalog” process. Upon browsing the parent catalog, all photos will show as grey boxes. Before closing Lightroom if I try generating previews

Hi! In these uncertain times, shouldn't it be possible to download and install a proper program (Lightroom Classic)?What happens if you can't get online—if, for example, something were to happen out in the world?

I’m tearing my hair out - after updating yesterday I can’t seem to generate any previews at all in LRC. When I try to create them it seems to stick on the 5th photo for some weird reason. Attempting to import a LRC catalog that was exported from a folder on another machine.  The scenario is you have your main catalog on a desktop Mac and you have captured photos whilst mobile. You export a specific folder of folders as a catalog on a mobile MacBook. You want to incorporate what you have captured in the field back into the desktop catalog.When attempting to import, it seems only part of the content can be imported. Strange that select all folders is not working. Lightroom Classic sync with lightroom has been hung up for 2 days- 16 files stuck - lightroom recommended rebuildign the synch database- when doing so- I was told to create the diagnostics error log and send it to Adobe-  Where do I send this?  THANKS!

Hello all. I had to replace my old GPU (GTX 1660 Super) after it died. I’ve never experienced any problems using LrC with it on my pc with a Ryzen 5 5600 X processor. But since I replaced it with an RTX 5060 I’ve had nothing but problems: Any action (moving sliders, opening masks and moving masks etc) take forever to have any effect. It’s become so slow to the point of being unusable and i now have to rely on cloud based Lr to do any work. I’ve done some research and in Edit - Preferences - Performance - Use Graphics Processor I switched from Auto to Custom and toggled on “Use GPU for image processing”. It made no difference whatsoever. This is incredibly frustrating as I spent a lot of money on this GPU thinking it would improve the performance. I also updated the GPU drivers. I would be incredibly grateful if someone could shed any light on this. Many thanks!
