Hi I have since upgrading to Lightroom Classic 13.3 (and today 13.3.1) had serious problems working with my Lightroom. I do have a large catalog. I have 422.767 photos in my catalog, but it has been no problem so far.SymptomsWhen I start an Photo Merge HDR it does not complete. It stays like this without completing:The new HDR.dng file is added to the catalog.If I start another HDR merge, it will be queued.Other side-effects (more in-consistantly - I haven't spotted the pattern yet)Contextual Menu (right mouse click) can be minutes to appear.Import files can be several minutes to complete.Things I have triedI have tried to do a backup of the Lightroom Catalog, and used that backup instead. This apparently solved the problem for a couple of days, but now it is back and I can't make that "magic work again" (do a backup and use that instead).I have tried to reset settings, with no difference.I updated my Nvidia drivers last week to latest studio drivers, with no difference.I hav

I shoot a lot of timelapses which I organize by having a main folder for the day/trip and then subfolders for each timelapse. I then usually build out the exact same structure in LR and import each folder individually into collections. Is there a way to create the same folder structure faster in LR and then import all folders at once and have them place all photos into the appropriate collections based on the folder they came from? Or do I have to manually do it like I've been doing it? 

Hello, I'm a photographer not and especaily computer adept. I'd like clear directions on how to delete whatever/wherever LRC is filing/saving/uploading/synching my photos, and a method of keeping further use clear of these 'saves'. To be clear, but not at all hostile, my photos are saved and well kept elsewhere. What I don't want is not to be able to return later that day fro a second editing pass on a photo, and find it greyed out and unavailable to edit.I want the same relationship with LRC that I had years ago with a cigarette machine, put in the quarters, pull the lever, get the product and walk away until next time. I want free of all the filing/saving etc that occurs behind the scenes, and simply use LRC when needed and find all as I left it. Thanks -

Soon could we see Sony Alpha 7 3 compatible for tethering in Lightroom Classic? I cannot believe that the most sold camera of Sony is not compatible.

Hi, I hope someone can help. I opened Lightroom and I had been working on photos the day before. Lightroom came up with I needed to create a new file click on below. I did this and all photos and library have gone. I have nothing. I have tried to open a catalog but nothing happens. I have lost a lot of phptos, Can anyone help please. 

Hi!A very annoying issue that I know had been discussed a few years ago but I couldn't find a convincing answer...I am using a Canon G7X (compact camera), shooting in RAW (cr2 file format)When look at the preview in the default Windows app (Photos), the image is a bit distorted but full. When I import in LR Classic, it automatically must apply a lens correction which crops the edges of the picture quite agressively.I've tried the workarounds I could find online (open in PS; change the "develop settings" to "camera settings" in Develop; create a default in preferences -> presets -> "Overall global setting for specific camera"...)Nothing works and I have a little inform box in Develop->lens correction "built-in lens profile applied", saying when I click on it "Canon PowerShot G7X - This raw file contains a built-in lens profile for correction distortion and chromatic aberration. The profile has already been applied automatically to this image"-> how can I avoid that from happ

When I am using the arrow keys to toggle between photos, the photos now fade in from black like a powerpoint slide. This is very annoying when I'm checking for differences between two photos. Hello friendsI inadvertently messed up some of my custom develop presets. When i use the "open preset location", it points to "imported presets". Is there another location where they are stored where i might find versions which have not been updated with my mistake that i can use to restore previous versions?thanks!John

Hi! I had an account with my email adress, my license was expired for a moment and the only solution i found was to create a new account with an other email adress, the first one didn't work... So i have a lightroom full of picture that doesn't work anymore, and a new one with no picture. Is there any possibility to switch my photo to one lightroom to the other? Or change my new account email adress for the old one?Thanks for your help!

Neither Classic or "modern" Lr is capable of consistently exporting JPEGs from Fuji x-t5 RAW files. Sometimes it outright crashes, sometimes it corrupts cached image (needs to be reimported) by creating high contrast mess. Sometimes (as per attached) it displays random garbage before crashing.I'm Lr user almost from the beginning, but I have a feeling Adobe despises their customers and it's time to go...

At the top of my LR Classic screen I have the usual bar with File Edit Library etc, but the exit x and the other two icons at the RH side have disappeared. Any idea why? Latest LR, Windows. bob Frost

I'm adding images my library. This is how many images/items are in my iPhone folder.And it seems to be stuck here. And this is how many LR has imported and stopped importing.I have tried restarting LR twice already and it does not seem to import. This is a permanently mapped NAS system hard drive. Any suggestion is much appreciated. Thank you.   

LR just started entering  import mode without my input. Crashed my Windows 10 system while I was browsing my LR catalog. Today, a note popped up from Adobe announcing updates, and one of the updates that I noticed was LR Classic 13.31 to fix bugs. Is this one of the bugs, and should I update my system again, though I just installed 13.3 a month or so ago and have had lots of issues with slow performance.

ich habe ein PNG in Photoshop  mit einem Durchsichtigen Hintergrund erstellt. Diese PNG das in Lightroom Classic importiert und es im Buch eingefügt.Ich habe eine Seite, der Seitenhintergrund ist nicht weiss sondern eine Landkarte.. Darauf ziehe ich das PNG mit dem Alpha. Dort hat das Bild dann nicht mehr durchsichtig sondern das Alpha ist dann weiss. Weiß jemand eine Lösung? 

LrC on Win 10. Uppdate catalouge from 13.3 to 13.3.1 doesent work. It hangs after 1 minute. And the program halt and nothing happends at all. CPU aktivity high. I have the comuter on for at leas 24-hours. It stops in activity "Prepering new sync.data" I have the same problem when uppdating fom 12.5 to version 13. Contact with support didn´t solve problem. They was unableto solve the problem.I have to recreate an brand new cataluge from start, 95.000 pictures, and i took my about a whole day.And now it´s the same problem with the new database, very frustrating.

 After connecting a replacement EHD the keyword on my list are not attached to the photos. I just connected a replacement EXD. I copied exactly as the original keeping the same file structure. I am running LR V.4 I connected the EHD by clicking the + on the top of the left side Panel. I noticed as soon I made the connection it prompted Import". I agreed and the EHD was recognized. My file structure appeared on the left Panel and the thumbnails and photo as well. But I noticed the any of the keywords on my list on the "right panel" were all shown, but for some reason none of keywords were attached to any photos. I checked and there is only the original Catalog which is stored in my Internal DR. I also can see on the right Panel my full name, Copywrite symbols, and all my information. If I'm using the same Catalog and able to see all the photos why the keywords are no longer attached to the photos. Also, after the import LR showed Preview rendering which took a long time. Il 10 Giugno 2024 ho fatto l'abbonamento al piano fotografia da 20 giga e ho subito rilevato un problema. In Lightroom e Photoshop non funziona la rimozione generativa Ai e la generazione Ai in quanto mi da l'errore che non c'è la connessione internet quando invece è presente. Ho chiesto in giro e mi è stato suggerito di sospendere il firewall. L'ho fatto e funziona tutto bene. Il problema è che non posso stare sempre senza firewall e così chiedo alla Community se qualcuno ha avuto lo stesso problema e come lo ha risolto. Grazie. Giovanni.

ho notato del problemi nel modulo sviluppo. in pratica quando applico le impostazioni automatiche alle foto, in alcune, mi spegne a -100 le Luci e la foto risulta nera

I am just checking out how much distortion my 16mm lens and camera tilt angle are producing. I placed circles on a wall. I used the radial mask to make perfect circles for comparison. When I transform the image (perspective correction), the radial mask stay circular, incorrectly.  The blue circles are all the same size initally. The orange circles are all the same size initially. After transforming, the radius does vary as expected.. Lightroom 13.3.1Mac OS 14.5, Macbook Air, M1 chip As shot (tilt 12 degrees down) Corrected perspective. Look at the lower lright circle in particular. Way over corrected. The radial masks are still circular. Look at the lower right one agained.

Hi, I have a very annoying problem with the brush tool in Lightroom Classic CC. The problem appeared after I downloaded the latest Lightroom Classic update. The problem is that my brush is at leats 50% larger than the cursor size. I tried to find a solution in forums but without any success. Could anyone please help? I have the Dell xps 15 9560 with i7 7700hq, 64bit, NVidia GeForce GTX 1050. Thanks a lot..

I have been a Lightroom user for several years.  I got a new desktop computer and had it set up by a professional.  I have several problems with LrC, but the BIG one is that the new photos I have put in since the computer upgrade are losing the files after about a day.  In other words, I click on the preview, and  it comes up a little blurry.  Then I click Develop, and it says "The file could not be found."  Does anyone know how to fix this?
