HELP: Unable to email photos from LrC version 14.5.1, neither outlook or gmail can be validated nor connected to the server.  Windows 11and utd.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.  

Bonjour à tous !J'ai besoin d'aide pour résoudre le problème que j'ai avec les mots-clés : Est-il possible de disposer de la MÊME liste de mots-clés sur deux catalogues LrC différents ?J'ai la dernière version de MacOs, de LrC, de Photoshop et de Caméra RAW, mais je n'emploie pas la version en ligne car mes photos restent dans mon ordinteur et je ne les partage pas sauf exception.Mon habitude de travail est d'enregistrer mes photos dans l'appareil en jpg et en RAW, sur deux cartes séparées. La carte contenant les jpg est transférée dans Photos et les photos en RAW sont enregistrées dans un disque dur où se trouve un catalogue lrcat qui leur est consacré. Une fois affichées dans LrC, je les indexe immédiatement en mots-clés hiérarchiques. Cela constitue en quelque sorte ma filmothèque, dont je ne modifie aucun fichier.Les RAW que je veux développer et conserver sont développées dans Capture One (qui reste pour moi le meilleur "derawtiseur") puis stockées dans un autre disque dur so

Previously, I had this preference to Tif but yesterday I changed it to PSD. However, even though I've restarted both Lightroom Class and Photoshop several times, when I choos a tif image and Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2025 - top item,Then Edit a CopyIt copies the image as a tif again and opens that in PS.

Hi.I'm curious, as after editing my photos looks 1:1 what gains is it to use lightroom 14.5 vs 12.x versions?after 14.x my lightroom work has been so slow, i updated from 1080 to 5060ti (1:1 but more vram), updated to 64gb of ram. And well is it just me or the 14.5 is just sooo slow, is it do some ai features? I want to roll back to 12.x as its substantionally faster than this new, good that adoba raised pricesd, but did not raise devs to optimize it better.... same with acrobat reader tho.. .or is it just me and everything is fast? 

When I try yo open LrC the splash screen appears for a few seconds but the app doesn't open. I'm using a MAC running Sonoma 14.0. Incidentally Photoshop opens fine and I have checked my Adobe account to make sure that my subscription is still in place. Any ideas? Philip

Hi, yesterday I updated my MacBook Pro to macOS Sonoma. Everything works fine, except Lightroom Classic wich doesn't start anymore. It's stuck at the "Loading" Pop up but then I get a spinning wheel and nothing happens. It basically freezes. I already re-installed it and re-startet the MacBook. Lightroom itself works. I only have issues with Lightroom Classic. Anyone else experiencing this? Any workarounds?  Thank you in advance

Does anyone know if it is possible within Lightroom/Photoshop or with a Plugin to view each individual histogram for multiple images at once? I'm interested in comparing the light and colour properties of all images in an album and would love to be able to view this data in a list-like view. Any help would be appreciated.

bonjour depuis la derniere mise a jour de ma tablette wacom mon stylet reste bloqué sur les curseurs de droite une fois debloqué ca fonctionne mais c'est enervant a chque reglages, ca ne le fait aps avec ma souris, wacom me dit que c'est lightroom qui pose probleme, mais ca fait 3 fois que je desinstalle et ré installe lightroom et ca ne change rien, que faire ? merci pour votre aide

Und plötzlich geht es nicht mehr: Lightroom Classic versucht zu Starten und stürzt nach einigen Sekunden ab. Voreinstellung habe ich zurückgesetzt - ohne Erfolg. Kommplette Neuinstallation des Programms hilft auch nicht. Photoshop läuft einwandfrei. Textweise habe ich Lightroom für Desktop, Web und Mobilgeräte installiert. Diese Version funktioniert. Wie bekomme ich Lightroom Classic wieder zum Laufen? System: MacOS 26.0.1. MacBook Pro 13Zoll mit Zweitmonitor Benq SW270C

I got a new laptop and installed Lightroom Classic on it. LR was uninstalled on the old computer. The problem is that when I start the program, the following window appears and then remains blank. I can't select anything, and when I close it using the cross, Lightroom closes as well. Somehow, I managed to import a few images, but they are not displayed in the Develop module. So I can't use Lightroom at all at the moment. When I was temporarily able to access the preferences, I noticed that my Adobe ID is not displayed in LR. I suspect that the link to my account has not yet been established, but I can't get anywhere with this blank white window. I have already tried uninstalling LR and reinstalling it. Unfortunately, this did not change anything. So I need help from Adobe to fix this problem. Best regards,Eike   

Hi,Issue:Lightroom Classic 14.5.1 Mac OS 14.8.1Canon R5II with the most recent firmware (1.1.1.) installed and using the RF 100-500mm L lens. The camera and lens data displays correctly in the library module, but in the develop module under lens corrections the Canon lens shown is the EF 100-400 mm L lens. Reviewed photos taken under previous versions of the camera firmware with the same camera and lens. The correct lens data is displayed in both the library module and under lens corrections in the develop module.Thanks.

Hello,I use  Lightroom Classic under Windows 11. All my images are located on a Synology Diskstation with DSM 7.1.1. The image Folder is mounted as a networkdrive via SMB with a user that has read and write permissions on that share and all folders within it. Until now everything worked well. I don't now exactly when it started but the day before tomorrow i realized, that Lightroom renames jpg files to name.tmp and does not recognize the images anymore. I have 10000 files renamed that way now! 😞I can reproduce this behavior like that: * rename the images to name.jpg* sync folder ib Lightroom -> images are back again* save metadata When save metatadate I sometimes get the message that there was an error saving the metadata. Errorcode is 29. "Unknown File I/O errror" is the messge translated from German. Afterwards the images are renamed to *.tmp again.  Can someone tell me, what happened? I didn't change permissions or something nlike that.&

I used Lightroom 4 for years on an old iMac computer.  I couldn't upgrade Lightroom beyond that point because the computer operating system had reached its limit.  I now have a new MacBook Air, and have signed up for a trial subscription to use Lightroom Classic.  My old back up files are all on a Time Machine external drive.  I moved these files from that drive onto the desktop of the new computer: LR4 Catalog-original.lrcat, LR4 Catalog original.lrdata, LR4 Catalog-Previews original.lrdata, and LR4 Catalog-original.lrcat-journal.  I have changed all the permissions on each of them to "read and write", and I changed the permissions for the desktop too.  I've given full access to LrC.  And still I only get this message when I try to open the catalog:  "Lightroom cannot use the catalog named Lightroom 4 catalog-original because it is not writable and cannot be opened."  I don't know what else to try.

This is something has been around for quite a while but, still, no right answer. I CANNOT seem to find a way in this green Earth to access images in Lightroom Classic (the latest version) in order to edit them!I can see them in Adobe Bridge, I can see them in if I access them through Photoshop, I can see them in This PC but CANNOT get them on Lightroom!!!!! If I do a "Synchronize Folder" then they show but, they all are grayed out. Not the option at the top of the page, but the images themselves. (there's no pic tool that shows up, btw). I have tried everything suggested since this question was posted 4 years ago.  I've updated the monitor profile - nothing- Re installed LR- nothing- Imported, copied, added - nothing! I've watched videos, read forums and talked to other LR users. Hasta ahora me funcionaba la reducción de ruido por IA. Ahora la pulso la casilla de reducción de ruido, sale la ventana de generando reducción de ruido y se cierra , me desabilita la casilla marcada.He ido a preferencias, a rendimiento y tengo la GPU desabilitada y me dice que no es compatible con mi sistema. Antes de la ultima actualizacion funcionaba perfectamente. 

Hi, I had a shoot mid September where I was shooting Fuji tethered to LR Classic and there was a bug where it produced to raw files for each I shot.  It was super annoying.  Don't know if this has been fixed.  I called Fuji and they seemed to say it was an LR bug which seemed right since there weren't duplicate files in the cards of the camera.  Did this get fixed? Every time I import photos it defaults to My Pictures on my C: drive. I can manually change it each time but I'd like to set a new default location. 

Lightroom Classic 14.5.1MacBook Pro 14 M4 ProTahoe 26.1 When Collections are filtered by a term and you drag a photo to a collection, the photo gets added but the collection photo count does not change. The collection photo count doesn't update until you remove the filter or change the filter. Although i'm on Tahoe, I feel this has been a issue for a long time. 

Dear Adobe Team, despite having followed some recent tipps (like deleting preferences in the library, deleting cache, changing the performance settings, deactivating modules etc.) my Lightroom Classic V14.4 is working very very slowly in the developer module: going to the next image is lacking performance and is delayed, copying the image settings to the clipboard is delayed 2-3 seconds... All this happened directly after updating from the previous version befor 14.4.My hardware was not changed in between, catalog was/is the same etc. Working on a Mac Studio M1 with 64GB Ram OS Sequioa 15.5, just one display.LR classic 14.4 It would be super nice if there would be a more helpful tipp or update to get back to the previous performance. Best regards Jan

I have incidentally discovered some very strange behavior when exporting images via a Publish Service. It only happens when the images are located within a folder structure and I select the top folder to update all the subfolders. The Publish Service is set to export a JPG quality of 60%, but only the first exported folder is correct, all subsequent ones are 100%. This can result in files that are many times larger.  The problem can easily be avoided by exporting one folder at a time instead of all at once. However, with many folders, this can be quite time-consuming. My old Mac can only run an old version of LR Classic (11.41) and I don't know if the problem still exists in newer versions, but I just wanted to mention it anyway.

Hi there!I recently updated my old LR (v5) to LR CC Classic (8.2) and reinstalled VSCO presets. The problem is that when I apply a VSCO preset (canon) in a raw file (canon) the VSCO camera profile is missing. And I cannot import them manually in the profile navigator.I have checked that VSCO preset are correctly stored in my user library. In particular:HD Mac / users / my user / Library / Application Support / adobe / camera raw Camera profiles / Vsco film Canon profilesSettings / Vsco film 1 / toolkit / toolikit colorMy OS is Mojave and the library user is hidden. I have made it always visible.I have tried different solutions from the forums but nothing works and I am a little bit desperate because VSCO are important in my workflow.Any help would be much appreciated.Regards,Paco
