When I right-click on a pasted image, the choice of fade does not bring up the palette to adjust fade of the pasted image.  I am still able to go to the Edit tab and choose Fade to bring the palette up that way.  I can only open the Fade dialog after doing something that can be faded.  Again, what are you expect to fade after pasting? Jane 

Where can I find the Photoshop 25.12.4 version to download for Windows 10? My system is not compatible with the 27.0 most recent version or any other version from 2025 on, and my creative cloud is only showing me the 22.2 version to download in the older versions section.

I’m using the current MAC Os and Photoshop 2026...I’m not sure what else to add.

I have 4000 “Premium features” credits left, and unlimited access to “standard features” in generative ai tab, but when i’m trying to use them generate button in photoshop is grayed out, not being available to clickI’m trying to use new Firefly Image 5 and partner ai tools, but nothing works, while Firefly Image 1 and Fill & Expand does work as usual 

I have encountered an issue in the latest version of Photoshop where dragging a layer results in the specific area I'm moving it to turning white, as depicted in the attached image. It is important to clarify that it is not the entire screen that turns white, but rather only the region affected by the layer movement.Additionally, I have learned that this problem is not unique to my workstation, as several colleagues in the office are also experiencing this issue, despite utilizing different PC setups.I would greatly appreciate any assistance from professional individuals who may possess a solution to this problem or have information regarding an upcoming update that will address this specific issue. 

Whether I'm using my Photoshop CC 2019 or 2020, when I use the brush tool to paint over my image or even the heal tool, I'm having an issue with the screen in Photoshop going white when I click. Which makes this impossible to see what I'm doing. When I unclick the mouse, the white screen goes away and I can see where I just painted. Hi, I use command H to hide my lasso tool but now it hides photoshop completely. I saw someone else on here had the same issue and someone said to reset preferences, which I did, but that didn't work. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks!

I'm having an issue where my dialog boxes are not showing up (trying to "save as", resize canvas, literally anything that has a popup where you have to confirm something) so it appears as if photoshop is frozen waiting for me to select something in the dialog box. If I hit the esc key, the missing dialog box will flash for a second but then disappear and photoshop "unfreezes." I fixed this once by exiting out of photoshop entirely, but now its starting up again.

My laptop was doing automatic update on Photoshop but it took so long. So I canceled it but it’s not doing anything after a few hours. I tried to reinstall. but no avail. Now it's completely not working and freeze! Please help. 💀 Thank you!

Id like to make sure I am looking at this correctly, as another user im talking with I think is mixing ppi image resolution with dpi print resolution meaning….  I have the attached image I open in PS and I see Resolution 96 ppi.  Is this the same as what I see in Finder ?  I believe so….  The person who supplied the image says all his all his supplied images are at 360DPI - including these examples.  So what is the resolution of the image?  They are SUPPOSE to be at 360ppi….. Photoshop screenshot:  ( I had to reduce the file size to meet upload requirements).  From finder on Mac:  

Hi GuysI want to create some custom icons for Win10 folders. I don't want to export to a web converter or install a plug-in unless there's an officially approved version. I understand I can create a png file and either use that direct or change the extension to '.ico' and that will do the trick. Is that just wishful thinking or is it a realistic option? If so, can anyone give me a hint on file size, please?

Photoshop will not open at all. Moved to new Mac's external ssd. I can't get past an error message which said something about plugins. now the message just says can't open. I'm stuck in a loop, uninstall - reinstall and I keep getting the same thing. No access to the app. Help please

I'm working with Photoshop 22.0.0 and I have a PSD containing more than 1000 dividual shape layers (vector layers). Many of these shapes overlap each other. For example:     Even if Shape 1 does not directly overlap Shape 4, they should all be considered part of the same connected group. So I need a Photoshop script that works as follows: When I selects a single Shape Layer, the script will find all Shape Layers that overlap the selected layer. All layers in that connected group should be merged into a single Shape Layer. Layers that are not connected to the group must remain untouched. The final merged shape should use the appearance (fill/stroke/style) of the originally selected Shape Layer. Thank you for your all help!

The last update does break linked Illustrator files in photoshop. Linked illustrator files do not update properly and glitch out visually. It’s as if you cut out objects (command+x) and they are still in the linked photoshop file without an option to delete them OR object just don’t render at all. Also, masks which are applied in illustrator seem to be not rendered properly in photoshop (linked AI file).

I open several images and that is fine, I can see them all in Photoshop but when I make one of them 'full screen' to work on it and then after closing that one image all of the others are hidden and I can only bring them back by going to 'Window' to choose open files and can only make them visible choosing them one-by-one... I've tried searching, like choosing 'Bring all to front' but that does not bring them back into view. Is it possible to bring back all open documents so I can see them again rather than having to bring them into view again one by one? Thank You, - Ken

Anytime I open an .ai document (RGB or CMYK), which is always saved with PDF compatibility, in Photoshop, the Import PDF dialog (which shows a thumbnail to the left) freezes. It takes anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes to let me do anything in the dialog, like change the units, modify the width/height, or even just click the OK button.This screenshot below is what is shown while I am waiting. The thumbnail is there (this particular image is very wide and not very tall), but I can’t click anything. Eventually I can, and it works just fine, and it only takes a few seconds to open when I’m able to click the OK button. There’s no indication that anything is going on while the box is frozen. It’s not building a thumbnail, because that shows up right away. All the data is already in the dialog box. It’s just...stuck. Again, once that time period is up, the dialog works as expected and is pretty snappy. I’m using a MacStudio M1 Ultra with 128GB of RAM. I have the most recent version

Generative Upscale in Photoshop web is not working, it will say something went wrong, not upscale and also has another what looks like an error code "0" This started happening yesterday afternoon and is continuing to occur this morning.  On another note, after reading through some of these Firefly forums this morning, and after receiving a $10 a month increase in my monthly subscription price… Adobe needs to seriously making all their Firefly offerings free until they actually work out all of the bugs in this system. You can’t just be taking money from people and giving them absolute garbage over and over again.   

Issue summary: While adding text to a photographic image, in PSD, I entered the name Cliff. When entering the second F , PS crashes immediately.   Product and version: PS 27.7.0 Operating system: MAC OS Tahoe 26.3  Steps to reproduce: Open new, any size . I was working in 8.5x11 psd. Add text field. Type “ FF” Enjoy the frustrating crash! Expected result: 2 letters ff would appear in the name “CLIFF” Actual result: CRASH!  Attachments (optional): Screenshots, screen recordings, sample files, or short videos that show the problem.  

am using Photoshop version 26.10. The Generative Fill feature works perfectly, but the Remove Tool is not working at all. Whenever I try to use the Remove Tool, it either does nothing, shows a program error, or fails to activate. I have already tried changing the Remove Tool Processing to "More Stable" in Preferences and restarted Photoshop, but the issue still persists. Resetting the tool and resetting Photoshop Preferences did not help either. Is anyone else facing this issue in the latest version? Are there any reliable fixes or workarounds, or should I roll back to an earlier version? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Default install when I first started using a file or created from scratch the Brush Tool would allow me to select it in the tool bar; however when using on an image of any kind it fails to output any pixels.  Suggestions?  Due know that the Seagate Portable Drive is for Scratch Disk tasks/use.

Dear Adobe, give us access to Photoshop 25.9.0, everything above that is buggy, not useful and terrible

Hi, I have the paid licensing key for Imagenomic, Portraiture 4. This past Friday my PS kept crashing at random- i have more than enough storage, I went between updating my PS version to installing a bit of a later version, I decided on v 24.7.1 since my coworkers have it and is working great for them. After uninstalling and settling on said version, my Portraiture 4 will no longer work- any time I go in to enter the licensing key it randomly will say its either expired or needs an update despite downloading the latest updated Portraiture 4 plug in directly for Imagenomic, I've also noticed that both my History Brush and Eraser are super slow and lag, I literally watch my screen/history tabs slowly update after using the tool on the areas. Imagenomic hasn't responded to my email so my coworkers and I are at a loss, the key  isn't shared,  I have ample space on the laptop and have uninstalled/installed both action and PS multiple times now. Does anyone have any suggestions? TI

I have been fighting trying to print large files true to scale for a month now and I’m at my wits’ end. I have set the printer and Photoshop options to print at 100% and scale to fit is not activated. You can see these settings here:All looks right. In a perfect world, this would indicate that the file gets printed at the size it’s made (in this case, 14.25” wide by 13.75” tall), spanning across as many pages as necessary (in this case, four - that’s how it always printed with Paint until Microsoft released an update that royally broke it).Instead, this is what I get:That entire large file gets confined to ONE piece of paper. Can someone explain what in the name of all that is hot pink is going on??? Why is it so difficult to print something true to scale? I’ve put the exact same file in Acrobat, thinking the splicing feature would help… no, in that case, the opposite happens - 100% means print 4 pages across 16, meaning everything is massive and once again not true to scale. PLEASE HE
