macOS 15 (Sequoia)Photoshop 27, 26, and 25 The Clouds plugin functions normally when invoked from the menu. But when invoked from within an Action, it fails with an error message about not being able to apply the filter because the area is empty. Many of my favorite actions rely on the Clouds filter and it no longer works correctly within an Action. This has been the case for the last several major releases of Photoshop. However, if I go all the way back to Photoshop 2023 and copy the Clouds plugin from the application bundle into the newest version, the Clouds filter works within Actions again. Something got changed between Ps 2023 and 2024 and it broke that functionality. Please advise.

This started awhile ago...maybe the last generation of Photoshop...i'm not sure but it's still happeningWhen I run an action with a crop in it, I only get the crop bounding box while the action runs, if I have crop selected before I start the action. Is it possible to stop this behavior? I didn't use to do this. In the past, once the action reached the crop, the bounding box would appear regardless what tool I was in when i started the action. Thank you

You can see text in one layer, I want to make this into many layers text. I know the mannul method that means making many copy of the layers & deleting unwanted text in a layer but I wish to know, is there any tools to do this easily?  

when i use the nano banana my images are not sharp anmore any way to improve that

I lost all my work from yesterday. I have a PSD file with multiple Artboards and Smart Objects. I was working on one of the Smart Object all day yesterday. When I closed the file at the end of the day I remembered to save the Smart Object and the parent PSD. I also saved regularly throughout the day, on both files. Today I opened PS 2020 and the files have reverted to the previous version. All my work is gone. I've checked the temp folder where the Smart Object is saved, there are no other files. The AutoRecover folder is empty.  I have autosave set for every 5 min.I didn't save the file to cloud. It's not saved to external hard drive. It's just in a normal folder on my hard drive.I don't have Time Machine active. Has this happened to anyone else?What happened to my saves throughout the entire day yesterday, and how can I get it back?What was AutoSave for if it didn't save all the changes that I did yesterday?

What is the reason this  Font gets Pixalat? Is it a nature of the font or some other reason. 

Lately, I’ve been experimenting with different styles and techniques in Photoshop, but it’s easy to feel like you’re repeating yourself after a while. How do you stay inspired and keep your work looking unique? Do you follow certain artists, use mood boards, or rely on color psychology?

I have edited 2 photos and now when i try and upload another it says that i need to sign up and pay...but i already have opened an account with payment

Does anyone know how to post photos in a required size of 1080x1080 pixels (square) without losing main image content? I couldn't find a tutorial on this in Photosop or YouTube. Yet others ARE doing this in places like Poshmark, Marketplace, and so on. If i use the crop tool and crop the images I took, I cut off a critical part of them. If i re-size these multiple regular size images (from Photoshop's default rectangle size) to this small square, the same thing happens.Would really love some direction o n how to do this! Thanks!

QUESTION:  Can merged shapes be undone after a file has been saved?  If so, how? Background:  I use Photoshop to recreate and draw vector graphics based on renaissance and classical Asian art.  I have grown very comfortable with Photoshop after using it for many many years drawing images that have highly complex shapes ... literally consisting of tens of thousands of individual shapes.  I only use the pen tool adding and subtracting shapes to different layers and then filling them with colors and occassionally adding blending effects to layers.  I do not rasterize the final file choosing to save the master should future edits be necessary. A typical recreation can take up to 400 hours to build using my technique. Unfortunately, I recently discovered a master file that had all of its layers merged into a single shape layer.  The image was a recreation of a woodcut of Albrect Durer ("Samson Rending a Lion").  I know merged shapes can be u

Please adobe!! I know this has been asked many times before over multiple years. But can you pleeease let us disable the ability to change opacity using alt+stylus ? as a digital painter it's a constant nuisance, thwat when I change brush sizes the opacity keeps changing unless I pay attention to it. There has been so many times I think I paint with 100% opacity but it has been turned down to 97-98%  and I have to go back and change stuff. Its a small feature to ask for but it would make the life of every artist painting in Photoshop a lot easier!

Hey !I would like to install a Photoshop version on my old 2017 iMac Desktop.Versions 23 and 24 are no longer available on the cloud, the oldest version available is version 22.2.Should I stick to Photoshop 22.2, or install version 25 instead? Or there is a solution to get a download link for version 24 ?Thanks !!!

I start a selection using lasso then hit spacebar to temporarily switch to the hand/pan tool and it doesn't work. It switches to the hand icon but the image doesn't pan. I'm using the latest Photoshop and have updated my graphic card drivers. Scrubby zoom doesn't work mid-lasso either, though it will zoom in and out with a click. Maybe a related issue is that when panning an image with the crop tool, the image is jerky/glitchy and not smooth. I've never had these issues before. I checked my performance settings and everything seems fine. Suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

Since updating to Photoshop 26.4.1, the app crashes consistently after about a minute of use. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing — whether it's editing an image or just navigating through menus, it freezes and closes unexpectedly.I’ve already tried:Restarting my computerResetting Photoshop PreferencesReinstalling the appDisabling third-party pluginsNothing has helped so far. I also found other users experiencing the same issue, so it seems like this might be a broader problem with the update. Please let me know if there's any known workaround or if Adobe is aware of this issue. I've been using Photoshop since the 1990's and the Save For Web function is critical to my work. For several years now this was made a "legacy" function, thus I use the Alt + Shift + Ctrl + S keys to "export" for web.Last week this worked fine, today nothing happens when I either use those keys or select the File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) function.This is not good. I use this function ALL. THE. TIME.Would really appreciate help on this!! THANKS.

Hey there, firstly I appreciate your time both in reading and responding to this post. I've been working in Photoshop since 2007 and I'd like to impart my knowledge to either complete beginners or slightly more advanced users. Is there a demand for this sort of thing? Would you or anyone you know see any value in this? I'd like to do it for free but also have the option for people to donate if they want to. I'd appreciate any kind of feedback here 😊 As a side note, I'm also equally as skilled in using Illustrator.

I set windows 11 Display scale to 250% for a large 4K cintiq display, but unlike most photographers or designers, I require the extreme opposite for the fastest art workflow possible, I require photoshop to open at 100% on any display, regardless of UI scale % set, the more space I have for the canvas to paint and texture the better for me, at the same time, I require to see as many brushes and layers I can possibly get, I'd settle for  - 200% (microscopic levels of UI sizes) but as it is, I cannot force photoshop to even open at 100% without setting the entire windows UI at 100%, I tried the usual - override high DPI scaling behaviour scaling performed by "application" and set photoshop UI settings to 100% UI font size to "small" nada, nothing! nothing worked, photoshop opens at 250%.Is there anyone out there that got photoshop to launch at 100% even if windows is set at 150% or 250 and how?I know is probably not do-able since everyone else keeps complaining that photoshop's UI i

Photoshop and other applications from my plan cannot find an internet connection. They cannot be verified and give an error, first 12015 and then 102. After that, the application closes. The Internet is available, the subscription is paid. I have a windows 11 64x
