I wanted to better understand the commercial usage of Adobe Firefly, especially when it comes to client work. If I generate images using Firefly, can I safely use them for paid projects like social media ads, website creatives, or marketing campaigns without running into any licensing issues?I’ve read that Firefly is trained on licensed and public domain data, but I’m still unclear about a few things do I need a paid Adobe subscription for commercial use, or is the free version also acceptable? Are there any restrictions when creating content for brands or businesses, and can clients claim full ownership of the generated visuals?I run a digital marketing agency and plan to use Firefly for client creatives, so I want to ensure I’m fully compliant before scaling. I’d really appreciate insights from anyone who has practical experience using Firefly professionally.

I need to retouch a drone image of an empty road to add cars. Generative Fill does a believable job, but only if I do one at a time – I can’t select a section of road and ask to add multiple cars at once. That’s okay, I’m happy to do them one-by-one, however a major problem is PS will ALWAYS point the cars in the wrong direction for Australian driving conditions, with RHDrive cars that drive on the left side of the road. In this case, it’s not simply a case of doing a horizontal flip to mirror the image. I’ve tried a number of ways to specify the prompt, e.g. ‘white car driving towards the left edge of the image’, or ‘white car driving on left hand side of road’ or ‘white car driving on road in Australia with tail lights visible’. PS refuses to do it. When I use ‘… headlights visible’ or ‘… tail lights visible’ … it will put headlights or tail lights on the front and the back of the car.Any help here most appreciated – I have many photos to update in the same manner and it will be a ve

Hello everyone,I want to create a script to reset the settings of the currently-selected brush to its saved defaults that I can later hotkey or whatever.- I tried finding the index of the currently-selected brush and selecting based on that, but I was not able to do that successfully.- I tried to write scripts for “Next Brush” and “Previous Brush” to call them in succession in the script, but I was also not able to do that (I don’t want to be sending their hotkeys as they can be mapped differently per user).Is there any way to achieve what I’m looking for? 

Can't paint an additive (white) brush on any masking layers (adjustment or generative fill). Subtractive painting works fine, but the additive painting is not working. Brush is pure white, normal blend mode, masking layer selected.

The Reflection Removal tool in the top menu simply stays greyed out so I can’t invoke it. The attached shows this clearly.  Note that the reflection itself is not visible as it occurs on the right side of the picture

When I work on a photo in one Photoshop window and want to transfer that photo to another window while maintaining the same dimensions and depth, the result is different in each window.

Generative Fill / Fill & Expand creates a visible horizontal seam at the boundary of the original image. The generated area does not blend seamlessly with the existing background and introduces an artificial brightness/color band exactly where the original image ends. This happens even with an empty prompt on a simple, smooth wall background. 

I am compositing a Redshift Render EXR in Photoshop. The compositing itself works fine, thanks to the OCIO implementation and the image looks as expected. However, when finishing the image for 8bit export, there is a problem with the "Duplicate to Profile" functionality: it shifts my colors. What's worse, adding an extra Step to the conversion process seems to fix this, so I think it's a bug. What's happening:I have my composited 32 bit ACEScg file. I press Edit > Duplicate to Profile and choose "sRGB 32 bit" as "Target Settings". This way, the colors change / desaturate, especially the blues / cyans. At first I though that this is expected behaviour due to sRGB having the smaller gamut, but then I realized that OCIO is supposed to preview the ACEScg file how it looks in sRGB, so it should NOT change when converting. Just upgraded from Phootoshoop 2025 to Phootoshoop 2026 (27.8.0). When running large batch jobs get this [removed]:Have 40GB RAM so that’s not the prob. My (wild) guess is that the Phootoshoopers have messed with the “close” command - files are closed but their RAM remnants are not purged.End up having to split single jobs into multiples (huge headache), never happened with Phootoshoop 2025. We are experiencing an issue with Photoshop on our MacBooks. Essentially, Photoshop is unable to overwrite existing files. This happens both when using the normal save function (Command + S) and when using Save As with the same filename.When we try to save, Photoshop displays the error message "Disk Error", and the file is not saved The scratch disk is not full, and the issue only occurs when working with files stored on our file server. We have also verified the file permissions, and everything appears to be correct, with the affected users having the necessary read and write permissions.This issue occurs on all of our macOS computers, including macOS Sonoma, macOS Sequoia, and macOS Tahoe.

Hi, I am running into a space issue on my laptop. It is causing PS to not run properly or even stay open, I cannot update the software on my computer, or update some of my Adobe apps. Is it possible to delete older versions without losing anything? I haven't added my own tools etc. to PS. I attached a photo of the apps that are taking up the most space on my computer but I am afraid to delete them without asking first. This isn't my area of expertise. 🙂 

Window - Adjustments panel is not opening in my custom workspace. When I switch to default Photography workspace, it does open, but there are not some option available, for example I'm not able to select default Clip to Layer option. Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.8.0 20260610.r.13 4081857  arm64 (final, Release)Operating System: Mac OS 26.5.1

I'm trying to import a .psd file into after effects and it just loads indefinitely. I've done this many times before, but suddenly it isn't working. Also, the color space is NOT the problem. My file is already in RGB. Does anyone know what the problem my be. If the file is corrupted, how can I determine this?

Hello everyone,With the latest updates, the 3D objects in some mockup files aren’t working in the current versions. I was able to resolve this issue by using version 21. However, that option has been removed from CC. Does anyone know how I can get these mockup files to work?Thank you

Is there a way to configure the radial adjustment mask in Photoshop to match the view in Lightroom CC, where two circles are visible and adjustable? In Photoshop, only the outer circle appears. It's only with this mask.

Camera Raw no stopped launching Photoshop when I clicked the Open button. I was working a couple days ago.I have a Windows 11 PC with all the latest updates.I am using Bridge 16.0.6.9, Camera Raw 18.4.1 and Photoshop 27.8.0Any suggestions?

Hello there,I noticed that there are still serval old Photoshop folders in my hard drive. Some of the files, 2022, and 2024, are only contained small files such as plug in and filter folder. Only the version 2023 contain large files in that folder. I checked creative cloud and found only one Photoshop (2026 version) in the App. Therefore, I won’t be able to uninstall 2023 version via Creative Cloud. How can I get rid of the older version? Can I just directly drag the older version of Photoshop folders to trash can? Thank you.

I have a question about using generative fill, or any other similar tool to clean up art scans. I have a series of images, oil paintings, that I’ve scanned and need to clean up. They are to be used for posters and such for Hollywood, and there’s a lot of clean up. the paintings are full of lint, dust, hairs and other things stuck to the varnish. I’m using the healing brush tool, but it’s time consuming. I never use Generative fill or any of the AI tools because, well, they never work. So I thought I would try with these. I try and use Generative fill, and type “remove lint, hair and dust”. I’ve tried a few such prompts, but what I get is complete destruction of the image. Any ideas on making this quicker, or any prompts that might work? Remove dust, lint and hair gives me this:
