Since the last update, Camera Raw no longer finds people in mask mode—neither in RAW mode nor as a filter. I always get the error message: No people can be selected in this photo.And if anything is found, it is completely irrelevant, even objects that are not related to the persons or are beside them. See screenshots.Is this a known issue or just to me?But finding/selecting subjets or people with tools in menue bar is working properly.

Issue: Photoshop 27.4 (March 2026) "Exit Hang" specifically involving CoreSync.exe.System: Lenovo P1 Laptop, NVIDIA RTX 4060 Laptop GPU (v595.79 Studio), Windows 11.Technical Details: Upon closing Photoshop, CoreSync.exe maintains a persistent file handle/lock on the %temp% Photoshop Temp file (approx. 1.5GB). This prevents Photoshop.exe from terminating and triggers a "zombie" state for the Adobe Crash Processor.Observed Behavior: The system enters a "One Use per Reboot" state. Subsequent launches of Photoshop fail in silence, or "Already Running" or "Taking longer than usual" errors unless a manual taskkill is performed on CoreSync.exe and all related Adobe services. This occurs even after a clean GPU driver install and PS preference reset.  Unclear without looking in logs when this started.  

In Photoshop 2025, I didn't have this issue. In the new update, 90% of the times I click on the eye icon of a layer to hide/unhide it, my Navigator stops showing the entire image and only shows a chunk of the image that is the size of whatever layer I was hiding/unhiding. My GPU and everything else within my PC is updated. If it's just a me issue, I apologize for the inconvenience, but would naturally still like to know if there's a fix. 

Generative fill hasn't been working in Photoshop for a month now. It keeps giving me the error "There was a problem and we couldn't complete your request. Please try again later." I can't see the number of credits in my account either. Can you tell me how to get it working again?

Windows 10/11 - Photoshop CS5 --Photoshop does not open automatically when jpg clicked. Open with photoshop.exe doesn’t work either. How to fix?

Hello. Is it just my impression or are the images generated by both Adobe Firefly and Generative Fill in Photoshop really so pathetic and of poor quality that they cannot be used? In Photoshop you can't even change clothes using generative fill and if you can, it's far from what you wanted. The generated images are much worse than the initial Beta version of Photoshop.

I’m working on an animated character in pixel art but when I try to move an object on the working layer it repeat the offset also into the next frame doing a messy animation.. I’ve already tried with the timeline panel options without success. There’s a fix for that?

After an update the gradient tool reverted to its new implementationI spent a few weeks trying to use it - I gave it a shot.This is why it doesnt work for me:I use it on masks. Thats pretty much it, but I use it a lot.  I rarely use just one, by default I have it set to screen, I create a black mask and add gradients to it.  I failed to find a graceful way to add more than one gradient to a mask with the new tool.  If there is a way, it is not at all obvious or intuitive. The problem isn't just with this tool though, its with the overwhelming feeling of total pointlessness I feel in writing this, and the culture that creates in the community.  How many people just give up trying to give feedback.  There's only so many years you can try to point things out, report bugs that go unresolved (one for premiere is now 7 or 8 years old).  Do you have people testing this stuff that have been using photoshop for 30 years? I've looked through many postings about using the 3D option in photoshop to create a 3D mesh. Hoever, in Dec 2024, with the latest version of photoshop, this option no longer exists. So is it possible at all to do this now in PHotoshop? Or do I have to use some other app ? If so, which one? I don't have substance 3D and its way too expensive for simple tasks like this.  Any solution is appreciated.  Do i need to go back to an earlier version of photoshop? Can both versions reside on my desktop? I need this for a 360 spherical panorama to send to adobe aero.Thanks in advance!!!!!

You can make your own document with 2 normal paths and the final being a symmetry path, and test the script yourselves. If I am doing something wrong let me know and how to rectify it tq!

Hi, I had issues with Scriptlistener not making logs for years and gave up trying to fix I do need the ActionDescriptor when a Mask is being transformed and moved, basically the equivalent of app.activeDocument.selection.translate(x,y);Asking for this instead of using the above code since for some reason my code keeps breaking under suspendHistory, so giving AM a go.

Hi, I’m having an issue with PSD previews on Mac. Whenever I save a PSD from Adobe Photoshop, the preview looks glitchy when I press spacebar (Quick Look in Finder). The actual file is completely fine when opened in Photoshop — it’s just the preview that’s broken.Anyone experienced the same thing? 😣 

Export isn't working. I can't use the program. I'm getting an interface error, or when I save the files, the folder is empty. Are you going to correct the mistakes?

I can't open the current Photoshop v27.5 on my PC (the first time having this problem with any version of Photoshop). I deleted the old version and re-installed the current one. The startup illustration flashes on the screen for a second and then disappears and then nothing happens. 

I can't find a setting to be able to turn off these annoying auto-playing video tutorials. Is there one hiding somewhere? I really do not want to be interrupted with this - especially with sound! - in my workflow. Is there a way to tell PS not to show them?

 After using Photoshop for an extended time, when trying to open a Cloud Document by going to File > Open... it often only opens the default MacOS file selector, without the 'Open from Adobe cloud' button. The only way I've found to fix this is a complete close of the software.

Photoshop 27.3.1 / 27.4 has a problem where it does not release disk space after closing files. For example, editing 119 files that are around 200–300 MB eats 93 GB of disk space. Of course I close each file, so there is only one open at a time.After closing Photoshop, the disk space is released, but this is very inconvenient. In some cases, I run out of space, causing the system to freeze, showing messages like “System has run out of application memory” and forcing me to quit applications.OS X Tahoe 26.3.1This is clearly a bug, as there is no valid reason for Photoshop not to release disk space properly.

Ps 27.5 update has been pushed to my CC app, but I can’t seem to find any release or fixed issue notes in the usual “What’s New” page or anywhere else on the web. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I prefer to know the details before I update.

Unable to “Select people” from the object selection tool. When I try and “select object” i get an error message “could not complete your request because of a program issue. 

I would like to create designs using the emojis in Photoshop For Products to sell like t-shirts and mugs. Photoshop has license with Emoji One. Can I use them on my designs? End what about the letter fonts? are they allowed to be used on my designs for products to sell?

To the Adobe Development Team,I am writing this as a professional user and long-term subscriber. While I recognize that AI integration is a necessity in today’s creative workflow, it cannot come at the expense of core software stability.Currently, Photoshop is virtually unusable on a high-end workstation (NVIDIA RTX 4070, 64GB RAM, Ryzen 5 5600X). I am experiencing extreme lag and freezes (1–3 minutes) during basic operations such as: Switching to the Move Tool. Initiating a Transform (Ctrl+T). Basic canvas navigation. It is unacceptable that a professional tool fails at its most fundamental level while hardware resources are more than sufficient. I am not looking for generic troubleshooting steps like "resetting preferences." I am reporting a significant optimization failure between the current Photoshop build and modern GPU architecture.As a paying customer, I expect the software's "bread and butter" features to be prioritized alongside new AI implementations.
