I know in the older version there was no way to increase the cursor size within the app. Is there any way to increase the cursor size in new version? My setting & sizes as follows.

As updated version of Ps integrated with AI tool, in my view system upgrade also necessary. Usually how often you change your computer? 

Will Adobe ever smarten up and make Content Credentials optional - or at least fix it so that it actually WORKS? I created a piece of digital art and PS insists on labelling it as “AI-generated.” Now, I’m all for awareness of AI slop in cultural artefacts, BUT….PS is also stating that it was created with Adobe Firefly, which it was NOT (I refuse to use Firefly for ethical reasons).The art in question was created using a mockup that employs Smart Objects. That’s it. No fabricated unicorn-centaur hybrids riding a chariot into the night sky against the moon or any crap like that.Is Adobe AT LEAST going to fix this kind of thing so that it’s not misrepresenting my work to the world? 

Moving from one app to the other in the Adobe ecosystem, you use the Shift key to proportionally scale items in Illustrator, InDesign and even Premiere… yet Photoshop decides to now change the shift key to scale unproportionally… Really?  Who’s brilliant idea was that?  Even Microsloth Word uses the shift key to scale proportionally.Is there a setting I need to change to fix this?

In Photoshop v 27.4 (and even in earlier late 2025-early 2026 versions) there is a bug where, whenever I create a mask and enter the Selection menu, the Select Subject tool selects the borders of the object correctly but displaces it, making the end result something completely different than what was intended. Original image, no selection​​​​Select Subject result I have tried different settings, including using the Cloud and the device to select, and they all arrive to the same result. This didn’t happen in earlier versions of the software. 

I am reaching out as a last resort regarding a persistent issue with the "Smart Portrait" neural filter in Photoshop. Despite comprehensive troubleshooting, I am unable to resolve the recurring error: "Neural Filters are temporarily unavailable."This appears to be a systemic issue, as it occurs specifically when attempting to process or adjust the Smart Portrait parameters.Steps already taken (and proven unsuccessful): To rule out any user-end issues, I have performed a rigorous technical isolation: Network Infrastructure: Tested across multiple environments, including a mobile hotspot (fully bypassing my local ISP and router). The error persists regardless of the connection. Account/Session: Performed multiple sign-outs and sign-ins to the Creative Cloud app to force a session token refresh. Do we know if there is (or if it will be patched in) to switch to the Legacy version of File>Open.  The new version opens a new UI box where I now have to press another button to access the files on my local machine.  This is the kind of UX change that should always be optional.  I have seen this with all software recently where they are adding 'Home' screens and extra steps to open or save files. Be great if someone from Adobe could comment on if this will be adapted to allow for legacy use case. 

May not be consistently reproducible but photoshop creates artifacts at the bottom and right side of the canvas after scaling an image inside the canvas, giving the impression that other objects on the canvas are extending outside/inside its boundary.Steps where this occurred: Create a new document at 240 x 240 pixels.Create a square block 24x24px to use as a means of setting guides on each side of the canvas.Drag an image of larger scale onto the canvas and then scale it down to fit.Zoom in, then zoom out to 100%. Lines appear at bottom and right of image after zooming to 100% using the menu to select.

I've noticed that the Remove Background tool in the latest versions of Photoshop is behaving differently compared to older releases.In my workflow, I frequently composite students who missed the group photo. For subjects photographed against a clean background, the tool still works perfectly.However, when there are other people behind the subject, the detection quality has dropped significantly. Even when I carefully pre-select or crop the subject area, Photoshop now includes parts of the people in the background. Previously, it would isolate only the main subject (head and torso) much more accurately.My typical process is:Place the student photo on top of the original group photo Roughly crop the subject area (usually a rectangle around the person) Use Remove BackgroundBefore, the result was clean. I recently moved from CS4 to the latest Creative Cloud. One thing I can’t work out is how to select the corner or edge to scale from when doing Transform? The grid in the toolbar is always greyed out - can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? 

I can work around this issue which started several years ago, but it's still annoying. I do not have this issue with .psd or .tiff files. Properties for all .jpg files show "unknown application". Navigating to link .exe file does not work. Right click "open with" shows a photoshop.exe in the available app list (not a PS logo); but that doesn't work either. Images will open with MS Photos app, so files seem to be OK. I can drag and drop a .jpg into Photoshop as well. I can place them in InDesign. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest PS. I have shut down PC, not just restart. I have deleted preference folders in appsdata\roaming for old versions of PS. One note: the "open with" list shows a photoshopelementseditor.exe, but the Elements app is long gone and I can't find that .exe. Like I wrote, there's a workaround, but I would certainly like to just double click and have Photoshop appear as it should.

I'm using the Rotate View tool at a specific rotation value to facilitate painting horizontal strokes.Although I can preview what's happening in normal orientation by tearing off the Navigator panel and enlarging it (thanks for that flexibility!), I also need to switch back and forth between orientations frequently, as some areas need to be worked differently.There has long been an easy reset (double-click the tool), and there is also a "Reset View" Button (thanks for that too!).But I am disappointed that I cannot make an action for Rotate View to my chosen angle.And per Jazz-y's answer to this post (reset view via scripting ), I understand that even scripting won't work, without conforming all documents.So I'd really appreciate it if Adobe would consider adding Action support, including the rotation value, to this tool.If not, I could live with Jazz-y's solution, moving all my reference docs to another app so they stay upright--but that script is for resetting to rotation 0. Hello, I have installed the latest version of PS but when I try to use the Remove tool, I receive the message "Required components are being downloaded. Check back later to use the feature once the download is complete. It actually downloads nothing and every time I try to use this tool, the warning message appears.any ideas how to fix this?

 Hey everyone! So the problem is that despite everything in brush settings should be correct (pen control enabled) for some reason PS keep setting "always use pressure for opacity" and "always use pressure for size" buttons ONIt's always turning on with brushes that have this little brush icon in right corner and then just keep working no metter I change brush with no icon.Please help me, idk if it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong 😞 

Hi,does anyone know how to contact support, but not through the virtual assistant? I'd like to reset devices (which I no longer have) where I have old CS5 software installed. I know such a reset is possible, but it has to be done by a human. Does anyone have an idea how to get through to support?RegardsD

Why is it that when we change a shape's radius or proportions, we don't see the changes in real-time?What’s strange is that when we adjust the radius via the Properties panel, we can at least see the path changing. But when we try to do the same thing using the mouse, we’re left guessing what the actual rounding level is until we release the mouse button.This is one of many UX pain points that designers have been dealing with for decades in Adobe products. 

I’m working in Lab Color mode and I’m trying to isolate the A and B channels while completely removing the L channel. I also don’t want to keep the combined Lab channel.What I want to achieve is to keep only the A + B data (color without luminance), turn that into a visible image, and be able to export/save it to JPEG/PNG/TIFF.So far, copy, paste methods don’t give me the result I’m looking for, as the image becomes black and white, and I understand that A and B aren’t standalone image channels in the usual sense.Is there a way to do this properly or a workaround that would allow me to visualize and export only the A and B information?

I lost all the work I did over the entire day even though I was hitting Cmd+S regularly and still had the ability to work it never saved anything. Then I lost complete control and had to force quit. I lost everything. There was no auto recovery, no saved data. Nothing. This is devastating. I will most likely loose this job because of this! Where’s the temporary files? How can I regain SOMETHING????

I need help with exporting in Photoshop Web. This pop-up dialog comes up: Your document was exported but its Content Credentials couldn't be published or attached. I used the generative upscale on the image of the property but I didn’t like it so I deleted it and when I exported, it won’t let me and it shows the pop-up.

there is a lightbulb icon on the top right corner of photoshop containing tutorials etc. but the symbol itself has an animation on top of it that is really annoying and I can’t get rid of it. I know it shouldn’t annoy me as much as it does, but whatever I try, it won’t stop. On top of that when I minimize Photoshop under MacOS this animation is actually like a separate program layered on top of photoshop which gets SEPARATELY minimized. Please, does anybody know how to get rid of this?I use Photoshop 27.4.0

Hi there, I have an image of a bride wearing some shoes and need to make the shoes look as though they have silver rhinestones on them. Could anybody help me how to do this please? I am trying to translate some jsx scripts I have to use the C# interop and I can’t seem to find an example of how to use the Document.ResizeCanvas function. In jsx there is a UnitValue object so you can specify the units to use. But the interop doesn’t seem to define this object.How do I make sure it is using px, or whatever unit type I want to use?
