Why does an Outer Glow not display over objects in layers below it? I have two identical shapes with the same Outer glow configured. But when I place a white background behind one of them, its outer glow disappears! This does not happen when I apply a drop shadow or a Stroke, it's only the Outer Glow that doesn't work. Is this a bug? Running Elements 2022 on an M1 Pro Mac. 

New user, pse 2023, Win 10; installed w/o problemworked Ok w/QUICK option; when tried again get displays per attached.have tried:- changing display aspect- resetting High DPI settings per postings here w/o success assistance will be appreciated thnxjohn w    

PSE 2023 doesn't run on Windows 11 unless manually told to open as Administrator at every start up. This is a rather recent development.  Windows update?  At first it opened the Organizer, but I couldn't send pictures to the Editor. After some searching I succeeded to get around this by manually tick a box to open asAdministrator.  I first have to start up  the Editor this way and than the Organizer like that too.

I reinstall pen tablet driver ugee 2150. pen working in autodesk sketchbook pro properly but not working in adobe photoshop. I need the solutions asap.

I want to print a series of pictures on A3+, but after setting up the required paper size and previewing it in the print set up, it always comes out as an A4 image printed into one corner of the A3+ sheet.

My photo editor will not load. I have checked in the task manager, no go. I am using Windows 10, and received an update the day before i noted it ceased working. I've been using the Elements program for months now with no issues and now this. i've attached a picture of the program trying to load, it does this for about a minute, then nothing, just stops. I'd appreciate any help with this, thanks.

Hi: I am new to Photoshop elements. I want to use Quick or Guided edits but the Adjust panels are not showing up (Only shows up for Expert). WHen I click on QUick or Guided, it comes up in the Title bar and it's very hard to use.  When I click on the Adjustment buttonm a Panel comes up but it's black.  Any ideas or suggestions?

Cannot get install past 4%. Have let it run for hours.Viewed the logs and there are no errors.Have rebooted machine multiple times.Shut off virus protection and firewall.Redownloaded multiple times using suggested links on Adobe website and this forumDid a silent install attempt via command prompt.Logged out of Adobe credentials and logged back in.Manually stopped Adobe background processes to make sure no conflicting processes were running.Used Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.Verified PC has all required specs.Verified connectivity (900+ MBPS symmetrical up and down on fiber)Last line item in each log when it freezes at 4% is: Win64 Runtimes to install: VC12,VC14,VC14.1 Just can't get this thing to work and this is the first time I have ever had a problem installing any software, including Adobe. Any ideas, or am I waiting for tech support during the work week?

Dell XPS 8940 running Windows 11I had PS Elements 15.  Organizer had about 10,000 pictures cataloged and was working fine.  I installed PS Elements 2022 and it asked if I wanted to convert my exiting '15' files to '2022'.  I said yes.  Now when I open Organizer, I see one of my photos briefly.  Then, the entire screen goes black.  It occasionally flickers for a split second.  I have to use Task Manager to shutdown Organizer.  Photoshop Elements and Premiere Element both work fine.

Just got a new desktop with Windows 11. While trying to install Elements 10, I got 2 errors about PX Drivers. 1 - A driver cannot load on this device.  Driver: PxHI64.sys  A security setting is preventing this driver from loading2- A driver cannot load on this device.  Driver: Px Engine Device Driver for 64-bit Windows Sonic Solutions. A security setting is preventing this driver from loading.  Windows won't let me change the Memory settings. Is there anything I can do to install this program ?

I know how sensible it is to do a frequent backup of my catalog but I am deterred by the process taking so long. It zips along until about 69% and then it gets bogged down and takes several hours to complete. I can't say exactly how long because I leave it to complete the back up while I'm asleep. At present, it has been at 74% for over an hour. I admit continuing to use my computer during that time but not for anything intensive. Is there a way of obtaining a quicker result, please?

I have resinstalled PSE14 on a new SSD.  I have got my catalog back and I was doing the optimise and repair options. I got the message in the repair tab saying no errors were found but with a check box to Re index Visual Similarity data. What does this mean?

I purchased a copy of Photoshop Elements 2020 and used it on my previous computer. I have had lots of problems with that comuter and so have bought a new one. I tried to load Elements 2020 onto the new one and it says my serial number (on the product I purchased) is now invalid. Can anyone help please?

I have several versions of Photoshop Elements installed on three different computers.  Is there a way to consolidate all of these into the latest version of Elements on a new cmputer?  Also is there a "cloud" version vs. desktop version that can be used on multiple devices?   Thank you.

When I bought a new computer 2 -1/2 years ago, I purchased Photoshop Elements 2021. It came with a cd for Windows and also 1 for Mac.  About 6 weeks ago I purchased a Mac Mini with no CD/DVD Drive so I came to Adobe to get a download of PE 2021.  They downloaded 2022.  Today I decided to try it out.  So of course I had to provide a serial number, which I did.  Well, the number I have is outdated and Adobe wants me to purchase a NEW PRODUCT.  The 2021 didn't get  a lot of use and now they want me to buy another. NO WAY!I really did not like 2021 all that much anyway. I guess I will have to use my old laptop with PE 7.This is so wrong! I always loved working in Elements and have made so many cards. Is there any way to direct Photoshop Elements 2020 to make changes to "OneDrive/Pictures" rather than "This PC/Pictures"? They both have the same path on my computer. Today metadata changes I make in PSE 2020 are changed back by OneDrive.

Hello so I am using photoshop elements 2022 and I have a template filled with buttons and other things that are made for editing and customizing and I am pretty new to this so can not figure out how to save one of these buttons by itself as a png without having to save the whole file. I attached a screenshot to show what I am referring to. Please someone help.

When trying to update 2022 elements I keep getting an error message " You need a new app to open this auphd link".  

I recently bought a new Mac Mini M2 machine and installed Elements on it. I mostly wanted access to ACR for processing files, but after installing both Elements and the extended Utilities I am left with some questions. The Utilities installation asked me where to put stuff, and I specified a location, but nothing is in the folder location. I checked before calling ACR and after calling ACR, but the folder is still empty. I checked during processing in ACR, but the folder was empty. What is the purpose of the folder? When I used Photoshop (which I no longer have on my current system) I could edit both raw and non-raw images in ACR, but now I can only seem to open raw images in ACR. Is there no way in Elements to edit tiffs in ACR? The most puzzling things for me are the way raw images are handled with Elements and ACR. If I right-click on a raw image amd select Open With Photoshop Elements the image opens in ACR, but when saved it does not open in Elements for any further
