Hi all, Newbie question about implementing the canvas-like featured "Hollywood Looks" effect from the product homepage:Here (Features & Enhancements | Adobe Premiere Elements 2019) in the section "Intelligent Editing" there's a really nice canvas-like effect with the subtitle "Trick out your flick with cinematic styles". As was referred to, I checked out the Hollywood Looks effects in Premiere Elements, but wasn't able to find the exact one that was pictured 😕😕Does anybody know how to implement this effect, to make the video look like this kind of canvas-style that they used for the kids running on the beach? Thanks
Error Message: This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not is not installed.I've been uploading and editing .mov files from the same camera for almost a year.Tried to start another project and all of a sudden, this error message is coming up. The only thing that I can think has happened is my computer recently updated. Please help! Thanks!
I was using Adobe Premiere Elements 13 and had this same issue. I upgraded to Adobe Premiere Elements (version 17) 2019 in hopes that would fix the issue, but it did not.I just got a GoPro Hero 7 Black. The footage from the camera looks fine if I play it outside of Adobe Premiere Elements 2019. If I edit a video in Premiere and then Export it, it also looks fine. It only looks pixelated while I'm looking at the clips during editing when editing several clips at one time. If I put just one clip from the GoPro in the editor it looks fine. The pixelation is so fine it just makes it looks distorted, not huge blocks. For example straight lines look dotted. It makes editing very difficult since I can't tell how the final footage will look. These files are filmed in 1080p 60fps and they are not HEVC. They are H.264, so this is not an HEVC issue. Also, files from my Canon G7X, Sony ActionCam, and iPhone SE all look fine during edit, it's only the GoPro files that are an issue. In addition to up
Hi everyone,I am working with Premiere Elements for quite a while and it was never super fast but at least it worked. Since I did a new set up for my PC in order to make it a bit faster, premiere keeps crashing without any error message after a couple of minutes. It just closes itself, while everything else keeps runnings perfectly. As I said it worked fine before, so I have basically no idea how to fix it.You probably need some specs to help me, so here you go. I film with a gopro Hero 5 in 1080 p with 60 fps. My Sony PC (Model: SVL241M16B in case it matters) runs Windows 10 in 64 bit version. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz, 2101 MHz, 4 cores, 8 logic prozessors. RAM is 8 GB. So far I tried the following things: - Uninstall and install it again - Download of the new Quick Time Player - updated Premiere - rendering after I changed anythingI'm at my and googles wit
Can someone help me?Video and audio are not displayed in the project. Is it possible in any simple way to correct this? From what I understand, I have changed the name of the folder in which the project was saved, and now refers the clips to the wrong folder.I don't remember the first name of the folder.Very grateful if anyone know what I should/can do.
I am using a Mac and trying to upload a video from my black magic pocket camera (1080p) and when I upload video all that shows up is audio, no video. Also I am using QuickTime Player. Thanks for any help.

I am using Premiere Elements 8.1 and I am adding multiple small videos to make one large one. Unfortunately, the small videos are in different formats. Some of them are .mov. Interestingly, some of the .mov videos load with no difficulty. However, some of them don't load and I get the error: codec missing or unavailable. I am using Windows 10 pro, 16 GB RAM, Processor: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4GHzThanks in advance for any help you can give me.
This happens occasionally on several computers at our center whereno presets show up when selecting the Titles and Text tab in Elements 14.Your help is greatly appreciated.ThanksSteve
I have premiere elements 14 and am trying to edit a video.I put the raw footage into the software and when I try to edit, the video is lagging, jumping and jerking. The video becomes so slow it lags behind the audio. I have exported a small clip, and there is no lagging when exported, just when trying to edit the video. It's so bad, it is impossible to edit.I have a windows 10 computer, I have tried uninstalling the last update and that didn't make any difference.I have not tried to add any text or effects- it is the raw footage that is lagging. I've gone back and watched previous videos I have edited and exported through the software which previously had no problems and now are lagging too.I have enough storage space on the hard drive where the raw footage is and where it will be exported to. I've tried rendering the footage but that does not make any difference. I have no, red, green, yellow or orange lines above the footage. The footage is from a DSLR camera and have never had proble
Hello, after finishing a project there are a lot aliasing artefacts by still images.mp4 - 30 fpsWhat can I do, to avoid this?
Hello, i'm running Premiere Elements 15, which i bought just yesterday. I was editing a video perfectly fine last night, I updated some of my mobo drivers today and now the project I started last night will only play at about x2 speed. I can't get it to slow down to normal speed. I haven't been able to find any hotkeys that changes the speed of play back. I have tried restarting my computer and starting a brand new project but nothing I do fixes it. I have tried playing the video in VLC and it plays just fine.I'm running Windows 10, intel i7-2600K @ 3.40Ghz, 16GB ram, Asus mobo.Whatever information you need me to provide in order to solve this problem I will.
Having changed my laptop, I am having problems editing videos. I can load the video editor and select the media to edit, but I am not able to run a preview of the video. This has only happened since changing laptops, both of which are running Windows 10.
I have just purchased adobe premiere elements 2018 today. I am using windows. the only option in hardware output is realtek speakers which I have and which are apparently up to date. However, there is no sound at all. I have no idea what to do to get any sound. I don't have any other devices in the computer at all. Can anyone help? thank you. Nicola

Trying to convert old family videos to dvd. Just need to save them to my computer, but first I need a program that can see them on my computer. I have a S-Video output cable with a USB-2.0 that connects to my computer but it is not showing up in my Premiere Elements 12. Would you be able to tell me if it's supported?
Since I cant use PE19 for my video because it does not support a certain codec for audio I was forced to use PE13 to edit some old DVD from VHS video. SO ... when I try to burn a new DVD it gets to 98% and stops.......Why ????? I have used PE13 for years and hundreds of video edits...why now does it pull this *&^%$.... the disc has enoght data to play on my PC but it did not complete and will not play in my DVD player....PS> I recently did a fresh install and added all the updates..... it still does not get past 98% burn.
I used to love this program but the last 2 versions (2018 and 2019) have major play back issues which is frustrating me to no end. The program will work perfectly for the first month or so then all of a sudden I can't get it to play back in the timeline which basically renders the program useless. I am running windows 10 and I have ample free space on my drives. All files I work with are stored in a folder on the desktop. I am updating past videos I made in earlier versions of Elements BUT it worked perfectly for the first 5 then ceases to work all of a sudden for no reason. Help me save my sanity please or I am going to have to forfeit a long loved program and spend even more money to buy something else.
Looking into a new computer...what kind of graphics/video card should I look for for the most efficient video editing?
After 10+ years creating home videos in Premiere Elements Windows I recently switched to Macbook version 14. Today I loaded a previous project onto my Macbook but got a incompatability error when I tried to open it. Adobe support says it's because the project was created on a previous version. Does anyone else have experience opening projetcts created on previous versions? Or switching from Windows to Mac?
I am editing a video on my Mac using Adobe Premier Elements 15 whenever I use Pan and Zoom and try and save the changes I get a loading icon (spinning coloured wheel) and have to force quit.I have tried many times and always have to force quit. Please help?

I'm trying to edit a .wmv file in Premiere Elements 13.1 on Windows 10. I've done all the software updates and for some reason the video is not showing up on the timeline, but I can hear the audio. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I am running Premiere Elements 2019 (V17.0) on Windows 10 with 16GB ram and an NVIDIA 960M. I have loaded about 10 video files (4K 30FPS .MOV). I have edited the videos into about 40 clips. I have added minimal effects (brightness/contrast) to a dozen of the clips. There is no audio in the original files and no audio added. I have tried to export several times straight to 4K MP4-XAVC-S, 1080P MP4-H.264, and the YouTube plugin at 1080P High Quality setting. I have closed all other programs, sometimes including Explorer, and even set processor priority to high. No matter what I do, the program crashes before it ends. And normally, right at the end when there is just minutes or seconds left. I am able to use the M4V file left over but this is super frustrating since it hasn't worked since I bought the software. Any ideas?
I'm currently trying Premiere Elements 2019. Even for playback of imported videos, CPU is 100%. And it is no longer smooth as soon as filters are added. By contrast, GPU usage remain Under 5%.I'm using other Adobe products (photography) where my GC is recognised and used without an issue.Does Premiere Elements 2019 benefits from a GPU, at least during playback ?---Laptop with recent i7-8565U CPU, and a MX150 GPU (not great but fully capable of playing 4K perfectly smoothly)
