Questions

To re-link footage files in After Effects, you only have to re-link the first one and then AE sees all the other in the folder.  How can I do this in Premiere? I have a hundred files, too many for one at a time. Thanks!

When trying to export a 10 min sequence, 4k video, about 10-20 small clips with warp stabilizer effect applied. The export fails to encode / export fails. Im exporting at a bitrate of about 15, stabilizing the videos only about 1-3% smoothness. It seems I can export successfully if I remove the warp stabilization, or break the sequence down into 1-2 minute segments but thats not convenient. My Project has also been freezing and crashing as well. I tried re-exporting the individual source files at a lower bit rate. Issue persisted. Buonasera a tutti,riscontro un bug nell'ultima versione di Premiere.Io ho una clip con un dialogo in lingua italiana (una tesi di laurea).Dato che tutto il dialogo è stato registrato in una stanza e c'è un forte rimbombo della voce,ho pensato di usare la funzione "Ottimizza Discorso" che usa l'intelligenza artificiale per migliorare i dialoghi.Nonostante il dialogo sia di una sola persona presente nel video, l'audio risultante dopo l'elaborazione è un mix fra inglese e italiano e se pongo il filtro al massimo (livello 10.0) tutto il dialogo risulta in inglese.Com'è possibile??Se l'audio originale è in italiano, come è possibile che venga trasformato in inglese tentando di migliorarlo?Come posso fare per averlo pulito ma in italiano?Grazie

When using masks in Premiere Pro and creating paths while deforming shapes, I often find myself accidentally adding anchor points or unintentionally rotating the shape. In contrast, After Effects allows you to lock the number of vertices and resize shapes without accidentally modifying the path, which is a big advantage. However, After Effects doesn’t support frame-by-frame navigation with the mouse wheel, which can be quite inconvenient. Even when assigning a shortcut for moving forward one frame, there's a noticeable delay, which slows down the workflow.Is anyone else experiencing similar frustrations when working in Premiere Pro? If anyone knows a solution or workaround, I’d really appreciate your insights. I truly hope this concern reaches the Adobe development team.

These are different from the LUTs you see in the dropdown list in Lumetri color. I know where to find these. (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\LUTs\Technical) The LUTs I add to the Modify/Color panel do not appear in this folder, nor do I see them in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2024\Lumetri I tried searching the  C:\Program Files\Adobe folder for *.cube files, and don't find my Input LUTs in there either. These persist from project to project, version to version, and there are old LUTs I don't need anymore on this list. Over time this list is getting bulkier, full of unnecessary LUTs, harder to work with.  The reason I don't just use Lumetri is that the Input LUTs panel seems to be more accurate when working with HDR footage. I've had some weird color issues in highlights when I apply them in Lumetri. Depends on the LUT though.

I recently accidentally created a sequence with mono audio and ran into an interesting issue when trying to change the tracks back to stereo. I right clicked on my sequence and selected 'Modify > Audio Channels' and changed the sequence back to Stereo. What this doen't do is change the existing audio tracks in your sequence from mono to stereo. So, I right clicked and selected 'Add track' in the audio part of the timeline.Interestingly, this created another mono audio track... I was researching for a while on how to change the track itself from mono to stereo but couldn't find any way to do so. In the end I discovered that the way to add a stereo track is to right click and select 'Add tracks..' (as opposed to just Add Track). Then you can select the 'Standard' audio track (this should be called Stereo.. unsure why it isn't as the rest are labelled Mono, 5.1, Adaptive etc). My question is, how do you change the track type in an already existing track?

Exporting media of seemingly any kind (even when sending it to media encoder) never finishes exporting. It always gets stuck on 99% or 100% (Always!) and makes my computer overheat. I'm using the most up to date version 25.2.3 (build 4) on MacOS sequoia 15.5 (2019 21.5 inch iMac). The weird thing is, when i check my finder window, the exported media file is usually there and plays fine most of the time, but in app i have to click cancel on the export pop up window, otherwise it stays like that forever and overheats my computer. Are there any workarounds for this? It's doing my head in. Not sure why this is still an issue; update after update...

hi guys 🙂   am fairly new to using premier pro and i am using key frames to move the position of a clip from the centre, to the far right and then to the far left in line with an animation over the top.    The effect control does exactly what i want when going to the right and then when i insert the next key frame for the clip to move to the extreme left it doesn't budge. I can't figure out where i am going wrong because the clips coordinate positions are changing in time with the key frame values.    I've added images that hopefully will show this problem   any help would be massively appreciated 🙂    thanks very much. Exporting a 35-minute video into an audio format stretches it by two seconds. This is a big issue for me because, for the last 12 years, I've run a workflow of:> Arrange audio and video in a sequence> Export audio as AIFF, edit in Audition> Reimport edited audio back into PremiereI've never seen this issue before. Screenshot shows my current export settings and the resulting time issues. Can anyone help? I'm running Premiere 25.2.3, rolling back would cause serious issues since I've done a ton of work in the last several days in this version.

Why do I get so many, apparently, unreltaed files?It appears to trigger a hit if any of the 3 numbers in the search field are found. Is there any way to constrain this result to on trigger on an exact match? I don't see any prompt to narrow the search options 

I’ve downloaded the latest versions of both After Effects and Premiere Pro, but the drag-and-drop function still doesn’t work. When I try to drop a comp from After Effects into Premiere, nothing happens. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions or workarounds? Thanks!

The audio playback quality in Premiere Pro 2025 seems poor compared to previous versions of Premiere. Can you explain why this might be happening? It is within the software during playback - I don't really notice it once it's exported. The audio in 2025 sounds way more compressed, with less dynamic range across frequencies - the bass is almost nonexistent.  I am in Version 25.0.0 (Build 61)I am comparing against 24.6.3 (Build 4) Any ideas of automatic settings that Premiere 2025 might be applying to make the audio sound so poor in quality?

Hi, I’ve been using Premiere Pro 2025 (v25.1) and Media Encoder (v25.2) on my M2 Max Mac, and everything was working perfectly until a few days ago. Suddenly, AME began “verifying” again when I launched it, as if it reinstalled or updated. Since then, my render speeds have dropped dramatically (like one frame every 2 minutes, mind you im only doing multicam edits so I've never used any heavy processing/effects), and I noticed my system barely uses any CPU or GPU during export (Activity Monitor shows ~88% idle). The renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Metal), but the dropdown is greyed out. Another odd behavior: Premiere now only creates one audio preview when rendering, instead of generating a separate preview for each clip like it used to. I also noticed that my usual /var/folders/... temp cache files for Adobe are no longer populating — and my media cache seems to have moved entirely to a v24 folder, even though I'm using v25. I'm trying to use the timecode effect as a kind of stopwatch in picture for some race footage, but am having difficulty changing the last two digits of the timer from a frame count to milliseconds. Apparently this used to be possible as I've seen older threads discuss changing the timeline or program setting to "Show Audio Time Units", at which point the option for milliseconds is supposed to present itself in Effect Controls under Time Display, but I've had absolutely no luck getting it to work. I'm working with non-English captions. In V25, Premiere Pro won't display several captions on my video. Using all the same files, it works perfectly in V24.

I have used the DeHummer function on several sound clips. I was to quick (and stupid), I did not fully understand the function. I live in Europe, and now I understand that I do not need it. Anyway..... the result is that these clips has a weird sound. How can I take DeHummer away forn these clips?

I'm not sure why this is happening all of a sudden. My slow motion is incredibly choppy when I slow the speed down to 45%. I'm aware that I have to raise the frame rate on my camera to give it the smoothness. I raise it to 60 frames which is the highest my camera can go. It always seems to work, but now all of a sudden, my slow motion is super choppy. I usually lower the sequencer settings to 24 frames since its a music video, but now it seems like every thing is just choppy. 

When attempting to import my latest MP4 video (screen recording from OBS), only 10 seconds of the 1 hour and 49 minute video will import. When i watch the video on windows media player, the whole video plays. When i import it to Davinci Resolve, the whole video imports(i do not want to use davinci resolve). Its only happening with Adobe. I have been using Adobe Premiere Pro for 2 years and have never encountered this. I have not changed any settings. Ive tried importing it to Adobe Premiere Pro 25.2.3, Adobe Premiere Pro BETA 26.8, And Adobe After Effects BETA 25.4. It only imports 10 seconds on all of them.The file is in my videos folder on my desktop.OS Windows 11.  As you can see in the screenshots, the video length should be 01:49:45 but in Premiere only shows as 00:00:10:24. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? 

Howdy, 'New' to the video world but have been taking still photo's for years.     Q1: I am looking for sources of downloadable pre-made templates for adding my content and clips. Hoping it can include transitions and title effects, etc.  I am fine with purchasing if the quality is there.  Does this exist?  It seems so much of what I have run across is 10 years out of date.   Q2: related to Q1.  Do I just need to invest the massive hours (it feels like) to create my own templates and purchase any transitions/titles seperately now and stop looking?   I feel confident I can get the raw footage that is needed for a good end video product, it's piecing it together that seems like a unclimbable mountain.   Thanks for any feedback.

Hello,   I'm looking to create multiple subtitle lines, for when people talk over each other. This doesn't seem to be possible, as you are only allowed to have one subtitle track visible.
