A lot of our footage has separately recorded audio but no timecode sync, so we use a third party program called Syncalia to sync a lot of our footage and sound. I export an XML out of Premiere, then import the synced XML from Syncalia into Premiere. The imported XML creates new source clips. In order to not have duplicate source clips, I tried cutting the source clips that were originally in the Production into the synced timeline, overwriting the duplicate source clips that were created when I imported the XML, then deleting the duplicate source clips. When I select one of the overwritten clips in the timeline and "Reveal in Project", it says the clip has been deleted and can't be found. I also tried dragging the duplicate source clips to the project that has matching source clips and Consolidate Duplicates, but then, "Reveal in Project" doesn't work.

Hi - I've been trying to add a color matte to my composition, and everytime I attempt to, it simply disappears.I'm on a new 2022  16" Macbook Pro, M1 Chi p running the latest premiere.Ir'a happened a couple times now on different projects. I open premiere, and use File\new\color matte, the color picker comes up, I select a color, assign a new name...click ok and <poof!> gone. Any idea what's going on? I'm not running a ton of graphics or anything.

I have a clip that is 24fps and when I bring it into premiere and "interpret" it to 23.976 to match my sequence settings... the clip displays properly in the project panel, but if I select the clip and go to "properties" it says it's still 24fps...  And if I edit into a 23.976 fps timeline, and select the clip in the timeline and go to "properties" it says it's 24fps.  Is this a bug, or am I just having a senior moment...   working in Premiere 24.3.0.   It looks fine as far as I can tell in the timeline.  The is for a sample edit for a DP in which I have a variety of sources all with different flavors of approximately 24 fps..      Thanks as always.

Lately when I open a Premiere project using v25.1, the Effect Controls window will be replaced by something called, "Frame.io" and it will ask me to log in. Unfortunately, whenever I attempt to log in with my Adobe account, it will either say, "Something went wrong" or I will get this error: Unsupported Account. Access to this account with the new Frame.io V4 Comments panel. What's with the ambiguous error? What is Frame.io anyway? And how do I make it stop? Thanks.

Hey. I have a problem with exporting a transparent video to webm format. I used the webm plugin from fnord (version 1.5.0) for export, set the export with alpha channel, but the result is a video without transparency (yuv instead of yuva). Export to .mov (quicktime) is without problem. I have Adobe Premiere Pro 2025@windows11. Does anyone know what to do with this please?

Before, say about a year or more ago, we used to go to the features to see what is the latest version of Premiere. But now, how the heck can anyone know what is the latest version? No info is available; I have to search for it n google! WHY? Why Adobe keep making things worse than they were before. Even simple things when upgraded or given a facelift, give a bad user experience. I haven't posted for some time and just now I wanted to post this, so I took sometime to find out where the post button is, guess what it is to the far right of the search window! Guys you really suck. Sooner or not a lot later me and half of Premiere Pro users will switch to DaVicni.  Enjoy your day.

In Premiere Pro 24.3.0 (Build 59) on a MacBook Pro 2023 M2 Max (macOS 14.5), I have a Production with two projects, "Cuts" and "Footage". In one of the sequences in my "Cuts" project, there are clips from a video file that play back, but when I try to "Reveal in Project", it says:When I click OK, it says:Again, the clip plays back in the timeline, but it has somehow lost its clip project association. I know where the file is on my external hard drive, but I can't relink it because the clip has lost its clip project association. Here's a similar discussion. Quick question for you Multi Camera experts out there. Is there a way to change the view so the 4 cameras are stacked with two cameras in each row instead of three cameras in one row and a fourth camera in a new row? I am posting an example in case I am not doing a good job of describing this,  

Adobe premiere pro 2020 keeps randomly muting the audio at some point, it might mute the entire clip or just a part of it, it doesn't just click the mute button it just mutes the audio, it shows a straight line as the audio, sometimes it also desyncs the audio too, but that happens less often.

Hello, I recently got myself a 2nd monitor to help speed up my video editing. However, I can't launch Adobe Premiere with the 2nd monitor plugged in. After I launch the app, the splash screen shows up, and then after about 20-seconds, the whole thing crashes and I get this error that says "Display Surface initialization failed."I can work around this by unplugging the 2nd monitor, launching Adobe Premeire, and then re-plugging in the 2nd monitor. It's annoying as I prefer to close the application when I'm not using it to save computer processing power. Any insight on this would be super helpful. I've looked into other posts on the forums, and no solid fix has been found. Thanks for your time!  

Hey guys!I'm having trouble getting my noise fx to apply to my video upon exporting the project to its final form.It is the only fx I have applied to the video.The FX is present in the preview window.Iv tried Applying it directly to the video clip.iv tried it nested and not.  I have tried to look online, in the fourms, on youtube however the only things that come up are to REDUCE noise and im trying to add it. I'm rather new to all of this so some guidence would be great! Thanks in advance.

The only other instance of this problem was left unanswered hereThe default text, nor the edits that I make, do not appear within the program monitor. Is there something to change within the Program Monitor settings or something to fix this??

Hi! So I'm having an issue with a MOGRT on Premiere 2025! It seems like everyone is having some kind of problems or bugs with them so here's one more that is absolutely destroying my psyque trying to find how to solve it! Hope you guys can help me with this!   So it seems that when I import this mogrt to Premier I don't see any problems with it. But when I drag the MOGRT to the timeline I just don't see the object itself but I can see that on the timeline it is marked as red, so there's gotta be something in there, right?   -MOGRT was originally developed for Adobe 2023 but I have 2025. -I send this MOGRT to 2 of my friends (one have 2023 and the other 2024) and they can just work with it without any issue. -I tried to change sequence settings and codecs to see if it was something related to that? Hey, I'm hoping someone can help me because this is driving me bananas. The colours I see in the Premiere Pro preview are very different to the export, the export appears to be extreamly saturated, the big difference being the blacks and also the skin tones are very very red once exported. I've spent hours going through the various solutions that are mentioned here and elsewhere and nothing seems to work and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm editing on Windows for reference as there seems to be a Mac issue so it's not that. I've also tried adjusting the viewer Gamma which seems to be a reccuring problem for people, doesn't matter what I set, the issue is the same. I can't seem to find an issue with anything in the export settings either. This has come about because I have changed my camera and am shooting in log and adding a conversion to Rec 709 and then adding adjustments to that. Hi all,I am hoping someone can provide me some advice please. I am currently running Premiere Pro version 25.1 and unfortunately am unable to upgrade any further due to limitation on my PC (AVX2 not supported on my current machine which is a requirement for current versions.)I have recently purchased Adobe Premiere Pro Classroom in a Book (2024 Release) to brush up on my skills, however upon starting Lesson 1 the Project Files will not open. A window opens with the words "This project was saved in a newer version of Adobe Premiere Pro and cannot be opened in this version"Does this really mean that I cannot even complete the workbook due to the limitations of my current Version 25.1 ?Many thanks in advance.

Windows 10, Premiere Pro CC. I've been using the same file and process to make my facecam fill a png for my gaming videos, only now when I use it, the facecam disappears as I play the video. It shows up - in the track matte - when not playing, but the second I hit play it disappears. I've tried making the facecam and matte a subsequence, and that disappears as well.

In Premiere Pro 2024 and all previous versions, I used to click the 'source patching' selection an the far left of the timeline, and then whatever footage I'd paste in the timeline (using ctrl+V) it would appear on the layer that the source selection was activated on.   In Premiere Pro 2025, it places the pasted footage on random layers no matter what layer I have the source patchign set to.  Sometimes is the bottom layer, and sometimes the 3rd or 4th layer.I've also tried using the targeting selection next to it and that doesn't make any difference.  The only thing I can do is lock all layers from the bottom up to get the footage on the right layer, but this takes too long. The source selection tool still works for inserts and overrights from the source panel, but I can no longer use it to paste footage, like "control+V".   This was a feature I've probably used a million times in all previous versions.

All to frequently, while previewing media files in the source monitor, the monitor goes black, and all I get is sound.All I get when I click on clips; after this happens, is sound. lThis happens for no apparent reason and I haven't figured out how to fix it, short of shutting down. Any ideas?

I am editing a video course. How do I edit a video in Argumented Reality in Premier Pro? How do I export the format so that it works in social media (AR)?

Every time I start Premiere the same thing happens: Premiere boots normally and shows me the project windowI'm able to select a project and Premiere starts to load itOnce project is open, media that resides on a second internal drive isn't linked.  The progress dashboard doesn't show an attempt to find and link media.  Premiere eventualy grays out and I have to force crash it out. The workaround is that I have to rename one of the asset folders on the second drive to trigger Premiere to look for files.  I guide Premiere to the renamed folder and verything links and is fine.  Even if I switch projects, everything links fine. But if I close and then restart Premiere, the same problem happens and I have to use the same workaround.  Not a time consuming fix but tedious and annoying. Anyone know why Premiere stalls when trying to read internal drives?  This is a 4 month old Windows 11 machine with 32GB RAM.  Boot drive is SSD and the me
