Can you please suggest which software to use to convert an mp4 video to specifically WM9 (WMV3) on a Mac computer. There is plenty to convert to WMV2, but I could not find anything for WMV3. Is it possible through any of the Adobe applications?

Hey guys. I'm new to Premiere Pro and trying to learn the basics, so everything seems very foreign and complicated at the moment but slowly coming to terms with the interface and panels. I'm sure this question will seem very stupid but I'm not incredibly computer savvy and cant seem to find an explanation on the internet so far. I am following a course online and have downloaded some project files to follow along with the course. The files appear in my downloads folder on windows, but when I go onto PP and click to import, the same project files don't show up in any category and when I search for them it shows but when I click it, nothing happens and it disappears from the search bar. What am I doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂Thanks in advance

I have been using Premier pro for years without problems. But all of a sudden I receive an error triangle at the right down under in my screen all the time. And yesterday Premiere Pro crashed several times. Can you please help me what to do?

Suppose we've created a copy of clip1 in our project and named this copy as clip2 (this clip2 may be normal duplicate/copy of the clip or subclip of clip1).Now while playing clip1, we 'Match Frame' one of its frame, which now shows in the Source Monitor.  Now we, knowing that this frame does exist in clip2 also, wish to find this very frame, which is showing in 'Source Monitor', in Clip2. What are the options to find this frame in Clip2?

Hi  Is it possible to export an AS-11 with a 5.1 mix in prem?  I've been asked to deliver a AS-11 with the first four tracks stereo and the next 6 tracks as mono for the 5.1 mix.  I've made a new timeline with multichannel audio, and I've panned the audio. Usually when exporting a multichannel with a 5.1 mix I usually export it as a quicktime so I am able to amend the audio configuration when exporting.  The AS-11 export preset doesn't provide this option when exporting so I was wondering if it's even possible to do an AS-11 with multichannel audio.  Thanks in advance.

Hello,New user here (migrating from Movavi).Need some help with isolating and removing vocals, but keeping the background noises from how-to videos. I'd like to remove the English and dub the other language in it's place. Videos are mostly shot on Go-pros. Any help would be appreciated!

Premiere 25.1 on Windows 10.It appears the ability to adjust speed keyframes for a clip is gone now? The option to change the clip keyframe type in the timeline is no longer there. I can only adjust time remapping in the effects control panel. Has anyone else experienced this or just me? And if it is intentional, Adobe, why would you do this? 

Hallo zusammen, ich würde gerne ein Reel (aus jpegs) in PP erstellen und habe dafür die Bilder importiert. Nach Export sind die Bilder "verwaschen" und es fehlt jeglicher Kontrast. Ich habe schon diverse Sequenzeinstellungen gestestet, das Problem bleibt aber bestehen. Wenn ich die Bilder im Quell- und Programmeditor vergleiche, sehe ich hier schon die Unterschiede bevor ich etwas exportiert habe. Ich hänge mal ein Beispiel an. Weiß jemand, wo das Problem liegt? Danke im Voraus!

I run into this a lot. The behavior is that I need to replace  a series of clips with a nested sequence and match timecode. In After Effects, it’s as simple as: right clicking the source in the project panel and right clicking replace with composition. In premiere it’s a lot more counter-intuitive (and slower)Here’s my replace with clip Premiere work around for those who need it:1) Right click the clip in the project panel/bin2) Make a new sequence with that clip3) Make sure that new sequence has all the same settings as the original clip (for some reason the duration doesn’t always match which is very annoying)4) Right click that new bin and open it in your source monitor5) Select the clip you want to replace, right click and select “Replace with Clip”—> “From Source Monitor, Match Frame”. You MUST have the item open in the source monitor and the settings MUST match or is this option will be greyed out.6) Now do this for all your other clips. You have to do this one at a time&

Hi,  we have Adobe Premiere running both on apple and windows.  Sometimes I get unsynchronized audio playback in Premiere. The file plays ok when played in external video player. I have to shift the video approximately 18 frames to sync it. The interesting thing is that sometimes its unsynchronized on Windows computer, but is ok on Mac Premiere. And vice versa - sometimes unsynchronized on apple and ok on windows. Any ideas or plans how to fix this? thank you

Hello! I've been working on an edit since the beginning of December and things have gone smoothly until today. During playback either the audio suddenly cuts out or there are bouts of white noise/static - sometimes both happen at the same time. The audio returns and/or the static goes away when I hit pause and then play again. The waveforms have not changed and I have not added any new audio effects since the last time I opened the project. The only effects that I have used are denoise and some dereverb. I at first thought this was just a Premiere issue, but when I exported, there were random bouts of the audio suddenly cutting out and/or white noise/static, but now it doesn't go away when I hit pause and play again, it's part of the export. I emptied my media cache, freed up space on my hard drive, and changed my audio hardware settings so that the buffer size is now 2048 and nothing has helped. Any thoughts? I feel like I'm going insane. 

Recently purchased a new iMac I and installed the latest version of Premiere, but I haven't been able to use the synchronization function for a single project. It will "Process 1,2 of 2..." - the progress bar will move, but as soon as it switches to "Processing 2 of 2..." the progress bar freezes and doesn't move. This is happening on all of my different projects. I've tried changing the track channel in the Synchronize Clips menu but nothing is working. Help, pretty please. If you need additional information let me know!

23.1.0 (Build 86)Windows 11 Impor video clips with audio that requires Premiere's Audio Conform process to generates .PEK files for editing. "Save .caf and .pek files next to originals when possible" is checked in Media Cache settings. The expected behavior is that once these conform files are generated and the project is saved, they will not need to be generated again as long as the files remain next to the original sources. Even when opening the project on a different computer. Actual result is that upon reopening the project the conform files need to be regenerated even when the first generation of files are present and next to the original sources. I have my default language set to portuguese, cause that's what i use for most of my videos. However, almost 100% of the time, it will transcribe it in english, so i have to manually go and re-transcribe in portuguese.could this be a bug or am I doing something wrong?   

It is insane to me that we can't batch export SRT files. The keyboard shortcut for export captions is also useless as it only exports one file.

How do I return the arrow tool from Premiere?

Hey everyone, I’ve run into a problem with the new version of Premiere Pro. It seems like the Color HLS effect has been removed, and I really need help ASAP. I used to rely on this effect to create RGB and rainbow-style text effects for my YouTube videos, but now that it’s gone, I’m totally lost. Does anyone have a preset, alternative method, tutorial, or anything that could help me recreate this effect? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or resources you can share. Thanks in advance!

When inserting a video file with its audio on the timeline, they are no longer automatically linked as before. If you move the video, its audio will not move with it. In previous versions, they were linked, but in the latest version, the matter has become very difficult and tiring.

Hey Guys, I've ran into an issue lately with the slide tool. I explain it in the attached video but to sum it up, it acts up and sometimes I can't slide into one direction of the other, despite the fact that I've got handles on both sides of the clip.  Has anyone else encountered this issue? It drives me nuts. I'm back to lengthening manually and reposition the clip in the timeline which is so stupid and time consuming.  I'm running the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro Version 25.1.0 (Build 73) on an Macbook Pro M1 Max Running Mac OS Sequoia 15.2 Cheers, David
