There is an odd glitch that occurs when I export my video as an H.264 with an adaptive bitrate, target bitrate 15.2. Anytime there is movement in the frame, the movement is pixelated - I can see the edges of pixels forming block-like structures around any motion blur. This doesn't occur when I export as a Quicktime Apple Pro Res 422, and it is not in the original footage. My current work around is to export as a Quicktime file first, then export as H264 through media encoder. I also changed the bitrate settings to 2-passes. However, this adds unnecessary time (and hard drive space) to things I need to export quickly only for web consumption. 

Import photo jpg files to Premiere Pro 2025 works, but some files only show black in the timeline/preview window! This error does not occur with other jpg's in the same timeline. The photos were copied from the apple photo app to a directory on my desktop and then moved into the Premiere project window with the mouse and then inserted into the timeline.After I tried different things and nothing helped, such as: new test project classic import, sequence from file...etc.It still stayed black, then I saved the jpg again with a photo editor and then it worked... Has anyone experienced the same thing and knows the reason for this error?

My premiere pro crashes constantly. I first thought it was the new version (25) but i downgraded to different premiere 24 version and it keeps happening. Already uninstalled and reinstalled, updated my drivers, etc. The projects themselves are really low quality, i worked with heavier files before with no issues. Operating system: Windows 10 ProCPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.70 GHzRAM: 16,0 GBGPU: AMD Radeon 5700 XTGPU driver: 32.0.12011.1036Hard Drive: 240GB Crucial BX500 SSDVideo format: doesnt really matter. it crashes no matter what type of file i useWorkflow details: its a simple video. one clip after the other, nothing crazySteps to reproduce: literally just trying to edit anything. it works for sometime but sudenlly it crashes and then its downhill from there. Encore, DVD Studio Pro, and most of the rest are gone. What else is left to make a DVD? (They're still getting made, right?) I have tried Toast, but it is way too crash-y. Thanks.

After launch, a couple of minutes pass and the video stops playing everywhere! Saves also stop working. Latest drivers and updates for today. We exclude the hard drive, tried different ones 

I have several math equations generated in LaTeX and I cannot figure out how to insert them in Premiere Pro in a transparent background without the quality being degraded and the ability to modify font color. Does anyone know a workaround for this? Thank you!

Mid-project, my adobe abruptly stopped showing the clips though still linked.  I started a new project and importing takes forever, and when a clip is finally imported it takes a long time to show, and then often doesn't play.  I have deleted my media cache.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled.  I have a MacBook Pro 1, and my mac runs Sonoma 14.5.  From what I can tell everything is up to date.  I don't know what to do.  I have projects with deadlines.  Even the Welcome Premiere Pro video won't generate.  It gets stuck at 68%.  

I want to convert a ton of old videos into a better codec for archiving and accessing in the future, but I can't seem to open any of my P2 files using my Mac Mini M2 Pro (16 GB, macOS 13.6.6) through Premiere Pro 2024 (24.6.3), Premiere Pro 2025 (25.0.0), or DaVinci Resolve 19 (19.1). Premiere gives me an error and Resolve doesn't even register the files (folder, clips, or XML) I've tried finding old p2 viewing software but P2 CMS and P2 Viewer Plus aren't updated to work with this MacOs. Any advice??

Certainly, here's Option 2 in a slightly refined version:I'm experiencing a new behavior in Premiere Pro 2025 when copying and pasting the Volume effect between clips. Unlike in 2024, where the pasted volume value overrode the existing one, 2025 seems to be adding the pasted volume as an additional effect, leaving the original volume unchanged.

In regards to Permiere getting ridiculously sluggish: Working on a big 'ol doc.  Project file is around 100MB, takes about 15 minutes to load the project from a OSX Mac boot up, and I'm using ProRes 1/4 proxies --for reference.  Oh, there's A LOT Of transcribed media in the project too. I'm editing docs on an Intel iMac and a brand new StudioPro; same issue across hardware with the same project.  64GB RAM in the iMac.  32GB RAM in the StudioPro. Anyway, the project will eventually load, link media, and grind away as all the conform files connect.  Thing'll be reletaively good for an initital stretch.  Peppy enough to not be frustrating. BUT... Then if I decide to try and export something, as one does when creating videos, one doesn't even need to actually do the export, just engaging the export window is enough to make the whole thing screech to a halt.  It's like the project has to re-analyze every single bit of meta dat

My project file when i open it is empty and the same goes with the Autosave. The file is 170mb but when open comes up empty NEED HELP.Or where can i find the file in the red circule,  

For Background: I'm working with another team which does our raw cuts of videos, and then sends us the projects back. Starting yeasterday when we attempted to open these projects, Premiere stops at 70% and will not finish open. Double checked and everyone is one the same version of Premiere and After Effects. We're on Premiere 23.3, but since this issue started, we've tried every version of 23.x, as well as 24, and we're still having the same issue. We've also tried the following: reset settings when opening Premiere, purged cache, removed third-party plugins, disabled Mercury Transmit, 30 second power cycling the computers, uninstall/reinstall CC, but nothing works. We've also tried the work-around of opening a different project and importing the project that wouldn't open, but it sits at 70% when importing.  We've even used a fresh PC, with no previous installs of Premiere/Adobe (so there were no old settings causing an issue) and the projects still won't ope

I just downloaded this free template (AdobeStock_418429473.mogrt) and added it to my Essential Graphics  Library. The template features multiple placeholders for text and photos in this video template. I can't seem to find tutorials or instructions on how to replace those placeholders with my own text titles or photo images. Hi! Please help. I was trying  to share my screen in premiere pro to my classmates, however , it didn't worked so i clicked on the audio hardwares and all, i also received a notification, something like you enabling access to other apps, i'm not sure and I can't remember what was it. After that, the playback of my audio sounds distorted, even when it's exported. The only thing that would play was the dialogues of the videos but the additional musics and sounf effects, they are all gone and they sound so distorted. Please helpppp. 

I am running Windows 11 enterprise and useing adobe premiere pro 2025. My teammate has created a production with a few projects in it and saved in on a shared OneDrive. When I open this production, all of the files are offline. I have updated all of my settings and followed the directions documented here,Premiere Productions Quick Start Guide : Frame Onebut I cannot get these files mapped correctly.   

Premier is crashing each time its opened, I try renderingIve run into a major problem, Ive still got a fair bit to do but my computer keeps hard crashing and resetting when ever I  try and render what I have so car and even when premier has restarted... Rendering is necessary to have it render smoothly and more so export the videoLast night I started to notice it when I tried the render in to out , and kept crashign the computer, I worked out is i dont try I could continue to work but not it instantly crashes and reserts the computer as soon as the project opens and I tried the impot the project into a new project, it opens then as the project is not on the time like but as soon as you click the project to move it to the time line (its in a folder in the project files called "This is the project"Then crash resets. This was supposed to be handed in for todays deadline for 5.30pm lessonIUve added the project file on its own and info on specs but the filder with all the assets , rush

I've put the auto save feature on Premiere Pro CC on save every 5 minutes. However i just worked on a 30 minute project, but it didn't save once? Why is this? It sometimes saves randomly, but during this full 30 minutes it didn't happen once..

I have a video that is due and I'm unable to do any edits to the color in particular without it lagging and or just not working. I was working earlier and everything was working smoothly.. then as I went to work on the color and even adjust the crop on some of the clips, my timeline essentially froze. If I wait about a minute the updates may show up but that isn't really realistic.  I opened another project and the coloring was ok with that but it wouldn't work on this one. I tried to make a copy of the timeline/project and it doesn't make a difference. I am so close to being done but can't be done until my color and such has been adjusted.  Also, it appears that premiere isn't making the most of my CPU/GPU which is frustrating. I just feel so discouraged right nowI'm pretty sure that there is something wrong with the premier app itself because Here is what I am editing on : 2024 Macbook Pro M3 Pro chip with 12‑core CPU, 18‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine, 36GB unified memory

premiere gets stuck if i leave the interface and return, for example if i adjust the desktop volume when i return to the premiere interface it takes 6 seconds to react, if i minimize premiere and maximize it, it takes 6 seconds to maximize premiere, anything that makes me leave the premiere window will cause it to lock 6 seconds to return, even to drag a file from windows explorer to premiere I have to hold the file with the mouse for 6 seconds until premiere reacts and let me drop the file, the funny thing is that this is only happening to me on a Ryzen 5800x, I have an i7 7820x and a msi gaming laptop with an i9-11900H, and in those computers premiere does not have this failure, in my 3 computers I have windows 11 24h2, the characteristics of the computer where premiere is failing me are:Ryzen 5800x, 64gb ram 3000 mhz, tuf gaming x570-plus wi-fi, WD Black sn770 1tb, RTX A4000 16GB 

Hello friends, I am experiencing an interesting crashing problem in Premiere Pro. When I drag the zoom line between the timeline and the video player monitor up or down, Premiere Pro crashes. i wuld like to delete pauses however the Delete button is greyed out, does anyone know how to solve this problem? thank you 

I use Premiere Pro 2025. I have just started a new project.  Over the years I have purchased many audio files. I have the Essential Sound panel open.  I have the Browse tab of the Essential Sound panel open.  I wish to choose music options for my timeline just from audio files that I have previously purchased. Is there a way to filter so that only previously purchased files are displayed in the Essential Sound panel?

I reguarly click on a text box that I want to edit, and then I hit "T" to change the tool from the arrow (move tool), to the cursor (text tool). It's a bad habbit and I should start by seleting the text tool first, but I often forget until I have already selected the text box that needs editing. No problem, the shortcut "T" will change the tool. Yay.  Except now, in v25, not only does it change to the Text Tool, it also adds the letter "t" to the text box.  It is a shortcut. It should only change the tool. It should not also type the letter "t"

I regularly clean out my media cache files but I noticed hundreds of .pek files on my hard drive. Why are they still there and can I delete them? Thanks,Rob
