Hello, I am try to convert 1080p mp4 AVC codec 29,970 fps to UHD Hevc mp4 60 fps using premiereAll I did is just change the audio gain of certain part of the video ebcause it's too lowI have select max quality and set the max bitrate to 5.5 mbps (I am using Nvidia hardware acceleration - RTX 3070 Ti) but the result is always exceeding 5.5 mbps even if I lower maxbitrate to 2 mbps, is there something that I might do wrong so the result isn't following the max bitrate limit I set ? Thank you in advance nb. the file was converted from vfr video using Handbrake because I read Premiere not fully support vfr
I think after making some transcripts I master most of its functionality. One thing I'm not able to make work is to emphasise in the subtitle text the word that a speaker says at the moment. As it works in the transcript window itself I'm pretty sure there must be some way to do this in the movie text subtitles itself. Anyone knows how to do this?
I'm working within a project currently with adjustment layers at specific moments throughout. When I'm working on parts of the project that don't have adjustment layers, everything is totally fine. But when I run my playhead over anything with an adjustment layer, my program monitor goes black. I can't see anything thats being played, but I can hear audio. I've tried going to different sequences and different moments, but still, black. I even opened up other projects afterward, and the program was still black. When exiting out and reloading premiere, the program view will be permanently stuck in the black state unless I restart my entire computer and go from there. But, then the second my playhead touches an adjustment layer, the issue comes right back. I tried downgrading my project and going to an ealier version of premiere, but that didn't fix the issue. I also tried making a completely new project and transferring things over to that project, but that also did
Hi,Since Adobe staff doesn't seem to pay much attention to this bug yet (some of them claim this is not a bug, others see the problems as resolved, etc.) I thought maybe we could "unite" and gather all the known issues, bugs and problems related to 4K resolution workflow (with windows scaling set to ON) here.Hopefully this would bring as many people struggling with it as possible in one place, to help Adobe to take notice of this problem. There are many unpleasant consequences of this bug, for now I will describe the ones that I'm aware of, but you are welcome to add anything new you find. I will try to update this first Post from time to time, so it stays up to date. The more bugs related to this problem we find, the higher the chance it will finally get fixed! Also, remember to use the feature request form, from what I understand, the more a specific feature or bug is mentioned, the faster it reaches to developers. You don't have to waste much of your precious time, just briefly descr
I'm just finishing up a project and cleaning up where possible.I notice that there is an audio track called 'mix' with a single line - no wave.Should I remove this track and is so how?
I'm working with a client who has sent me a premier file with 3 nested sequences in the main timeline. When i open the file Premier updates the file to the latest version CC2018 (12)Everything appears as it should - I can see the blips, credits, audio and 3 nested sequencesWhen i scrub through the timeline the monitor is blankWhen I open the nested sequence there are no clips insideIs this a glitch in the translation from an older version of Premier or am i missing something obvious?
I have a clip using a zoom transition with an adjustment layer, It actually appears exactly as expected when scrubbing the clips in the timeline. The output looks bad and isn't doing the transition, is there some checkbox or button I need to select for it to render out properly, below are what it looks like in the timeline, the other is what the final output looks like
I'm having an issue where whenever I try to edit my project it either causes my computer to crash or uses up 99% of my computer's CPU. This only seems to be happening with one of my projects that uses a lot of OBS screen recordings. Here's the information asked for in bug reports:App Version: 25.1 (also happened in all the 24 versions of the app)Platform: Windows 11 with 32 GB of CPU. Uses a NIVIDA Studio DriverSteps to cause issue: Make any changes in timeline or effect controls.Expected result: Make the changeactual result: Makes the change, but used 99% of RAM I've already tried doing all of these things that Peru Bob mentioned in a similiar post:"Try resetting the preferences:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-reset-trash-preferences-in-premiere-pro/td-p/...If that doesn't work, try resetting the Workspaces:Reset a workspaceReset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.1. I have a 4k project which, regardless of the codec I use to export, will stop "encoding" (stall) at 81%I have tried prerendering the entire sequence, no issues during pre-render - entire sequence was green tried export to h264, and Apple ProRes...consistently every time it hits 81% it stops...Tried uninstalling/re-installing the entire creative cloud suite There doesn't appear to be any hardware issues though here are the details:windows 11/ Premiere Pro 2022intel i9 12th gen64gb ramnvidia 3080 gpu (latest nvidia studio driver)2tb hard nvme ssd (samsung 980)all drivers up to date I don't know what's happening at 81% to troubleshoot what's going on. Any ideas how to see what part of the process the export is on to identify the failure?Premiere is essentially unusable if there's no way for me to render my project. Please help!
So, I have a project somewhere on my Mac, and I can't remember either the project's name or the location. I only know the name of the video file used in this project. How can I search 600+ of my .prproj files to find which contains that media file? Thanx
I cannot find Radical shadow effect in premiere pro 2025, can anyone help?
I searched the entire interface, but I can’t find this option. What kind of mystery? I need the audio title to be displayed on the timeline
PROBLEM:I just made the upgrade to Premiere 25.1, along with some coworkers of mine, as a solution to a separate issue we 'd been experiencing with 23/24 (which upgrading did resolve). That said, we work with .mp4 video (H264 Codec, never had an issue with using this codec in the past, ever.), .MOV animation files (which don't seem to be a part of my issue), and .WAV audio/music files. NOW I am experiencing a new, much much more inconvenient issue. Whenever I touch an audio file in the project (whether that be moving them, cutting them, removing them, shifting them, adjusting volume, ANYTHING), the timeline freezes. This has happened with every file type from Model 12 microphone audio (.WAV) that has been treated in adobe audition This has happened with every music file I've imported. This has happened with every audio file regardless of the source SSD drive. Doing any of these processes with video and image files don't have this effect on the timeline at all, nor does this i
Unfortunately I have updated the graphics card driver of my Nvidia RTX4090 to the newest one. Now in Premiere PRORES RAW cannot be decoded...again. Exactly like 1 year ago after a driver update. Does somebody know the solution?
Hey. I've had Premiere for a while but I haven't really tried much until today. I sat down and spent hours on my first project. When I was exporting my project and looking at the results I saw that the video had been zoomed in. I did some research and saw that it might have to do with the sequence settings but I've tried everything I've been able to find. The export settings were matched with the source and I don't think I messed with anything more than what I've seen on youtube. My computer specs are decent, so I doubt it has anything to do with that. If someone could help me with my issue, that would be great. Thanks in advance! (to the right is the result)
I have an audio track I’ve already edited that is only playing out of the left speaker. When I drag the fill right with left effect into the timeline, there is a circle with a line through it and it won’t let me do it. The track is a multichannel mapped to mono. Is there a way that I can change this to a multichannel mapped to stereo so the audio is even? I'm not even sure how or why it was mapped to mono. Is this an option that I can alter?
I have proxies attached to all my footage, but the playback is extremely delayed and choppy. Only rendering it allows a smooth playback which is obviously not ideal when you're actively editing. Any help or thoughts on other variables to check out much appreciated!
i'm trying to get a clip to loop seamlessly, it's loops perfectly in Premiere but once rendered out and played back in VLC or MPC there's a perceptible lag at the loop point. I'm rendering out to MP4 using H.264 codec. I know the video players can play loops cleanly as I've downloaded looped footage from shutterstock and they play fine.Interestingly when I load a shutterstock clip into Premiere and export it, it develops the same seam around the loop point. Is there anything special you have to do to export a clip that loops cleanly?
So my raw footage seems to be just fine with no problem at all but when I import them to Premiere Pro the footage at many parts becomes weird and glitchy. I have no idea what to do because I've never used Premiere before. I've provided some images of what the footage looks like when is glitches.
I have been using premiere for a long time and used to be able to select the timeline window and the program window, and use my scroll wheel (middle button) and scroll back and forth on the timeline. Today, Premiere updated and now the scroll wheel zooms in and out in the Program window, and does NOTHING in the timeline window where previouslt I could move up and advance and rewind the timeline. Did something change and how do I get it back? I have been searching for about an hour and maybe I am using the worng keywords in my searches!
Good evening, friends.Synchronizing video and audio, I came across a question about audio properties. I perceived the I can hear a noise or subsequent character speech before the the spectrogram in timeline.Even when audio before the speech is a flat line, I can her a noise from the subsequent speech. I tried to cut the audio before the speech and I still get to hear the echo from the subsequent speech. Now I wonder where the speech in fact begins: does the speech audio begin where the spectogram appoints or it beggins a little before? When I cut the flat line of audio before the speech and moved it to a noiseless local, I still can hear a noise, though I can't hear the echo from the original speech it anteceded.I'll show images in order to make you visualize what I am talking about.I can hear a bit of echo from the subsequent speech even in this flat line.[img]https://i.ib
I have Premiere up to date, Nvidia up to date and Windows up to date. The premiere files I tested on had a cache with 10TB free.My C drive has 158GB free.I've had this problem since this morning, first goes normally then 2 options:- the playback continues to run but the waveform of my timeline disappears and no sound then freezes the playback and the error appears- the playback freezes but I can still move my playback head etc... but the playback no longer moves and sometimes the software stops responding and displays the errorAfter that either after a minute or 2 it returns to normal or the error is displayed and premiere no longer responds etc...I tried moving the plug-ins to an external file without success + canceling the workspace import without success.I tested with a very heavy project then with a much lighter project, same result.I am doing a test on a project that is not a team project and still.
Anyone else have this issue? It seems like any time I have a caption track, occasionally when I make a cut to the footage I'll automatically find myself way further in the timeline than where I was supposedly making this cut. Adobe please fix!
