Hey guys, i am currently oworking on a big project with loads of different footage. There is something weird about the behavior of the footage. I rightclick on the footage "change colorspace to" Rec.709. As soon as i drag and drop it in to a rec 709 timeline it changes back to HDR.So i have to go back to the footage, rightclick again, and change back.then it is finally Rec.709 Anyone else heaving this issue? We are currently working on Windows with PPro 25.0.0 BUILD61 we are greatful for any advice 

Tengo un problema grande. En un disco duro SDI externo empecé a trabajar un proyecto de Premiere versión 25.1.0 con un ordenador windows. En un segundo ordenador Windows (donde también tengo instalada la suite de Adobe, y que uso cuando no uso el primero, puesto que me muevo en dos localizacines distintas para trabajar),  cuando voy a abrir el proyecto me dice "El proyecto parece dañado y no se puede abrir".  ¿Por qué? ¿no puedo tener un proyecto en un disco duro externo y abrirlo en uno y luego en otro ordenador en tiempos distintos? ¿Qué hago mal?

In der Projektdatei eines Videos in Premiere Pro ist die Sequenz nicht mehr vorhanden. Sie wurde nicht versehentlich gelöscht, da sich auch in sämtlichen Sicherungen und Backups keine Sequenzen befinden. Weitere Probleme gibt es in diesem Rahmen auch beim Öffnen von alten, abgeschlossenen Projektdateien, die plötzlich als grüne, verschachtelte Sequenz erscheinen, die nicht abspielbar und nur in Bruchteilen vorhanden sind. Ein Weiterarbeiten ist so unmöglich, da man fürchten muss auch die neu erstellten Daten zu verlieren. 

How come I can render a rotoscoped 4k source clip in AE in 10sec and it takes Premiere a minute to render the dynamic link in the editing sequence? (dont take my numbers for granted. It takes significantly longer in PR is what I'm trying to say) Dynamic links are a great feature and I use them a lot, but is there maybe a setting or some other form of optimization I can make? I have a MacBook, M4 Pro, 48Ram - so it must be the software, settings or some form of issue with the linking of an AE composition. Looking forward to thoughts and suggestions!  

I've had this issue from time to time over the last few years and I have yet to find a solution when it happens. I'm currently editing a video in 2024 Premiere Pro and when I apply a LUT under the Creative section in Lumetri Color, the image becomes very washed out and overexposed, even if the LUT intensity is at 0%. I don't believe it has anything to do with the LUT itself, but something about any LUT being applied whatsoever. I have tried to counter this washed-out look by adjusting other parameters in Lumetri Color, but it only begins to create a weird color-blocking look. (video attached below)

Hello!I would like to know if Adobe Premiere supports the placement of HMHD atom on an exported clip (ProRes 422 HQ). As background, our editing team is using Adobe Premiere to edit clips and they export the clips as ProRes422HQ clips wrapped in MXF-OP1A. We recently had a problem during the broadcast playback of a clip as it exceeded the 220 Mbps bitrate limit for a ProRes 422 HQ clip. As per support of our playback hardware vendor, "if the clip had the proper hmhd atom then we would have been able to read that and could have set an average for the entire clip. It would have resolved this issue." When we asked them how to set up the HMHD atom, they said to ask Adobe about it. Hence, this post. TIA for any help.

After zooming into the timeline in Premier Pro I get a weird bug where I can't zoom out again using Alt (Opt) + Scrool Wheele. I've linked the video that shows the issue.  Premier Pro 2025 Version 25.0.0 Build 61Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1

So lets say I filled my audio and video tracks with a bunch of clips and images and sounds and texts.Now I want to transform ALL of this into a jsx code that important the same files used into the tracks, it shall contain:-lines of code refering to every item (by their name),-& the correct insert time (and also the in and out point).-That for every audio and video track. ?Essentially I would be able to delete my sequence content, load the code and it will be filled again with the same content I have just deleted.The key thing is to be able to convert my insert times and names of files, into lines of codes that save those same insert times with same order and same track name (audio or video).

Hi, when i use CTRL+K or CMD+K on a selected clip: Is there a method to choose whether to leave the part cut on the right or left selected? Currently, every time you apply CTRL+K or CMD+K the left side remains selected, can you get the opposite depending on your needs?Thanks to those who will send me back.

I'm using Premiere Pro v22.0.0 and After Effects v22.0.1 all my HDR footage from my iPhone 12 Pro. The Premiere Pro timeline is set for Rec 2100 HLG and exports as 10-bit fine using H.265 (software encoding only) for smaller file size. However, when creating a dynamic link with the iPhone footage to After Effects it uses Rec. 709, I have tried interpreting the footage within After Effects: Project Panel > Interpret Footage > Color Space Override > Assign Profile: Rec.2100 HLG W203 But when I right-click the linked footage in Premiere Pro and select Properties, it still only shows Color Space: Rec. 709.  This means the exported video changes colour/brightness when reaching the linked footage section. Is there any way to get the linked footage to match the rest of the footage? Thanks.

Why need search in Graphics Templates? it never finds anything, why reward the interface with a non-working option?

Trying to 'copy' clips on the sequence timeline using the short cut command CMD+C.This shortcut has stopped working since upgrading to Premier Pro 24.  I've updated from an earier vsn of premier pro 24 to the latest (24.6.1) and the 'copy' problem is still happening. The CMD+C shortcut works when applied in the 'Project' panel to copy clips/files it just doesn't work on any sequence timelines. I've checked the 'Keyboard Shortcut' panel and the CMD+C is set up correctly. The only way to copy a clip on the timeline is to 'right click' and choose 'copy' which is a pain and really slowing down my workflow. Any thoughts on how to fix this? F.Y.I CMD+V works on the timeline to 'paste' a clip. Premier Pro 24.6.1Mac OS Monterey (12.7.3)iMac Retina 5K 4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7    

I can't do Link Media automatically when all my files are in one folder, I have to do each file manually, but I have over 1000! The system and the program were recently updated PP 25.1.0, MACos 15.1.1And there is a checkmark on "relincs other automatic"

When I am copying the french captions into the caption text box, the french looks fine. But in the program screen, none of the accents are in place and are all replaced with apostrophes. Please help to fix this.  Win 10Premier V22.0 

Hi, I thought it'd be pretty simple, but I'm having trouble finding a way to crop my video so that it has rounded corners. I learned that the best way to crop a video is under the Opacity feature.  I see that I can crop it as a square or circle, but no other option.  Is there something in Effects that I haven't found?   Any other way to get this done? Thanks. *Using Premiere Pro 2020 on Macbook Pro 2019

I'm trying to create a film with Phone footage from a Android device and a Iphone. Its a big project with 7000 clips. I already converted everyting to 25fps and to ProRes Proxy, but still everytime its crashes. Even when I start a new project and only Import a small portion of clips. It seems premiere is really struggling with phone footage? Is there something I can do about this? I'm on Premiere 25.1.0 and usnig a MacBook Pro M1 Max with 64GB

Hello. I've had problems with French subtitles.  When you edit them, all fine, and as soon as they export, they change a to r and add in some very random characters!  I found a converter that worked as suggested in a previous post, but as soon as you went to amend either the font or background, etc it went back to the 'buggy' version.  This is using the latest version of captions in Premiere which I know has been recently updated.  Thank you. 

I am using the latest version of Premiere on two different machines in two locations 55 miles apart.One machine is running Windoes 11 Pro and the other, Windows 10 Pro that I remote into at work.In both places, if I have the Audio Track Mixer visible, the playback "stutters". The playhead jumps, timcode display is not smooth, video stutters, but audio playback is fine. Keeping the Track Mixer open but switching to the Audio Clip Mixer, Source, Effects Control Tab, playback is smooth.The material I work with is a simple 2 channel XDCAM 422 1920x1080 file that are :30 in length.At home, I tried to playback an Apple ProRes 1920x1080 with 16 channels of audio. All plays nice and smooth until I display the Audio Track Mixer. Playback stutters, but after a few seconds, the audio goes mute! Switch to the Audio Clip Mixer or anything else and playback is fine, even while the playhead is moving. Bob K.

Latest version of Premiere - v25.1 (non beta) on Windows. If I have autodetect log footage checked and I close and re-open a project, it turn off automatically and the footage is super saturated and contrasty. This is for Red footage on a project I am currently working on. I have to go into the project settings and check then uncheck the Auto-Detect Log Footage box and it resets and functions as normal. I'd expect this should not reset every time I re-open the project. Anyone else seeing this issue? Is there a solve for it aside from doing what I'm doing? It's not too big a deal, but it took me a bit to figure it out and if you don't know the solution, it could very well throw you for a while. I first thought it was Auto Tone Mapping.

So like the title says, I am on a hp pavillion that is running windows 11 yet when i go to download anything adobe related it is saying that I am on a mobile device which is just not true. Any way to fix this?

Hallo Leute, Ich brauche bitte mal euere Unterstützung. Ich hab in mienem Workflow iwo einen Fehler, der mir das Leben schwer macht. Ich habe Videosequenzen, die ich in Premiere importiere. Dort öffne ich die einzelnen Videos und im Vorschaufenster wähle ich dann die IN und OUT Points. Habe ich einen Teil einer Szene für gut befunden, so ziehe ich das dann unten in meine "Bibliothek" oder wie sich das nennt. Da taucht dann die Teilsequenz auch auf. Neuerdings aber nur noch das "Bild" ohne die Tonspur dazu. WARUM? Wie kriege ich meinen Ton wieder? Oder ist meine Vorgehensweise grundsätzlich schlecht?

I have found for the past couple of months, I need to click the align tool about 10 or 15 times for my text to actually become centred instead of just clicking it once. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue?

Hello, I was able to figure out how to do a circle video crop but I would like to have my subjects head appear that it is outside the boarder.  Pls see attached image for explanation. I created it in Photoshop just for a visual example.Would you know how to do this?

I need to develop a plug-in that ouputs the audio of a video as a wave file. Do I need to assemble the wave file "by hand", or is there a suite that builds wave files?

Hey! I'm working in Premiere Productions. When I open a project file, at first I see the production panel, then once the project fully opens, it disappears and I can't see what other people are working on, etc. I feel like there's a simple fix...anyone have suggestions? Thanks! Isabel
