I'm using Premiere Pro 2024 on windows 11 for 4 months and it was working prperly. But as a sudden the program and source monitor is not showing anything, even bars and tones anymore. The app also has problem in the exporting. The exported video is only 1 or 2 seconds of the whole video. I've done anything I found on the web and It didn't change. Tried:- deleting the cache- reset the app- change playback prefrences- change renderer- change audio hardware setting- updating windows 11- updating gpu driver- reinstalling the app- using previuos versions of app- reinstalling the windowsMy CPU is i9 13700 and I'm using GTX 4050.But it is not working yet. I'd be thankful if anyone gives a good working solution.

Hello everyone! My issue is the following. I am editing some subtitles were in one section of my video are in the inferior part of the screen. But at a certain point I need to change them and put them is the middle of the Screen. What happens is that for that to happen I need to change the position and in doing that I change the Caption style. And it appears that for you to have a different Caption Style you need a different track. And we all know what happens when you try to enable 2 tracks at the same time (When you enable one, the other disables).The solution that is given for when you need double subtitles doesn't work because i am not trying to generate a new block of subtitle text rather change the style later in the video.The only solution I found was saving the file as SRT and exporting it as XML. But premiere won't open my XMLs! But that's for another threat. Thank you in advance for any solutions you may have and here goes my first post in the community 🙂

In my attached image, the total clip length is about 23 seconds . Here, "5:29" refers to the fact that I've clipped 5:29 seconds of it. That's not useful information for me to knw - I only need the total media duration of the clip - in this case, 23 seconds. Is this an option on Adobe Premiere Pro 2025? 

In previous versions, I've mapped Command+= and Command+- as Source/Program monitor zoom in/out keyboard shortcuts.Porting my shortcuts from 2023 to 2024, i've noticed neither window works the same way with the shortcuts. It zooms in "a little" however does not work as intended. I've even tried removing and re-adding the keyboard shortcuts to the menu. Specs:Premiere v24.4.1Mac OS 13.6 (Ventura)M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro64 GB 

Hello,  I created a circle-shaped matte to use with Track Matte Key and have the video appear within the circle. When I apply the Track Matte Key it works, but it scales the Alpha matte. I did try adding the transform tool and that does work, but this is a bit problematic because I need it to be the exact dimensions of my Matte Alpha---and I'll need to repeat the process in many different aspect ratios.   Is there a better way to do this? Hi All - would anyone have recommendations for the best display monitor attributes for video editing.  I'm in the market for a new monitor (32"-34" size), and would like to know what folks find best for Premiere Pro and After Effects work.  Any brands or specs that are a must have? For example:  1.  Does the Hz rating matter for video editing (not interested in gaming)? 2.  VA vs IPS 3.  Minimum contrast ratio you should have 4.  Are curved screens (like the super wide, but not much height, 21:9 format) recommended, or should they be avoided Are there other features that I should have or avoid? Thanks!  Any guidance you can provide would be very helpful.

Hi! Help me please.In old versions of Premiere (up to 2023) there was an option to move vertical and horizontal zoomed picture in the Program window. I can't find how to do the same in modern versions (2024 & 2025).

Premiere Pro 2025 Version 25:00Hi, I'm trying to create a straightforward 'growing text' animation for my video captions. I've upgraded captions to graphics. Then within the Text Transform Effect, I've had to manually centre the anchor point from (0.0 and 0.0) to (440.0 and 288.0), so the text grows from the centre point of origin.Then I then added keyframes to Transform Scale from 0 - 100 for the first 5 frames, so the text grows at the beginning of the graphic. This creates the exact look that I want.But, I want to be able to apply the same effect to all the other caption graphics.However, Copy and Paste Attributes does not include Text Effects, so I've been having to manually apply this to every caption graphic.Am I missing something? Is there a simple way to apply this effect to all at once?

I have a timeline with created subtitles from transcript. I now need to add extra material to the timeline but would like to keep the existing subtitles as they have multiple corrections in them. Can I create new subtitles for the added shots by creating ins and outs of something similar? I'm trying to avoid having to recreate all the subtitles and then correct them all again.

Apologies for a [perhaps] overly simplistic question. On a Mac, how do I create a preference for having all stereo audio imported as dual mono tracks? I saw a tutorial on YouTube that showed the option under Premiere Pro in the menu bar, pull down to the Audio tab and there was an option called Default Audio Tracks. One could select to have Stereo Media as Mono. That was a 2015 version of Premiere Pro. In my 2019 version, I do not see a Default Audio Track option. Is there a way to have stereo always imported as dual mono tracks?  Thank you.

Hi, I'm really at my wit's end right now because Premiere was working fine earlier and now it's crashing and I need it ASAP for my business.  I am working on a Macbook Pro 2020 and in the latest version of Premiere Pro. Suddenly, it's giving me an error message that it cannot access my third-party audio plug-ins and no matter what I do - whether open a project or make a new one, the application freezes and I have to force quit it.  I've...1. cleared my preferences cache2. reinstalled and installed the program several times over3. wrote "read & write" on the application support files 4. cleared more storage from my laptop and cleared the media cache  I genuinely don't know what to do. I'm not sure what it's not working and no solution online seems to be helping.  Any help greatly appreciated. 

So I want to download Premiere Pro, but Adobe is telling me that my system doesnt meet the requirements and I dont know why. I have an 13th Gen i7 CPU and a RTX 4060 GPU and windows 11 System. I already updated my GPU driver and it still didnt work. I tried to download creative cloud because it worked for someone but it didnt for me, I couldnt even open it because it was a dmg file.  My sceenshot is in german im sorry hehehe Id really appreciate some help!

I have just moved my project from Team Project to Local Project (.prpoj) And now, I am experiencing a Video Preview Error when you pre-render your timeline(Enter key) . I am using v25.0.0(Build 61)

I updated my GPU drivers since the 296.10 version is over a year old, but the Mercury playback hack wouldnt work anymore. I was going bonkers all day today trying to troubleshoot the issue. I uninstaleld and reinstalled a bunch of times. GPUsniffer would give the notice that it "did not find any devices that support GPU computation". I went back to the old drivers and sure enough, GPUsniffer would detect it. I wanted to make this post for people googling issues with the hack involving the cuda_supported_cards.txt file involving CUDA enabled GeForce cards that aren't officially approved by Adobe, and also so the engineers at Adobe can maybe look into their end to see if its the GPUsniffer.exe that is the problem with not being able to detect the drivers, or maybe it's Nvidia's problem on their end that the drivers can't be detected. At least you guys can talk to one another to straighten things out.

Hi,I have dragged the VR toggle button from the button editor. However, when I click on it to change the view nothing happens. The 360 video stay in its equirectangular view and not goggle view. What am I doing wrong?Thanks

I managed to download and install the Enhance speech add-on no problem via the Creative Cloud app. However, it never progresses past "Enhance speech is being set up" it recommends upgrading to macOS Sonoma for "faster performance" but at the moment there is NO performance! Upgrading is not an option for me as I will lose all my Native Instruments plugins which are necessary for a music project I'm in the middle of. Is there anything I can do to force this thing to behave?  

I'm using the 24.6.2 version of After Effects and the 24.6.1 version of Premier Pro on a MacBook Air M2 with 16GB RAM and I keep getting this problem whenever I switch to another window and back to the programs. I was using both software perfectly fine until now, but it just started doing this thing where when I switch to any other window and come back it just freezes the timeline completely, and then any action that I do after that just crushes the application completely.Things I tried:1. Turning off GPU acceleration2. Clearing my cache and resetting preferences3. Playing around with the audio hardware4. Installing older versions5. Reinstalling the current versions6. Checking my RAM and GPU performanceNothing solved the problem so far, any help is appreciated!

I have a sequence of many clips in premiere pro, and I could swear I heard of a way to make all audio about the same db or level. Is there a way to do this? I have some clips in the timeline with different levels and it would take ages to go in and manually balance their loudness.

Hey folks, new editor here. I have an audio clip with parts that are too quiet, and parts that are too loud, is there a way to make ALL OF IT around the same level, let's say -3dB? I have been doing it so far by splitting and adjusting the rubber band or the audio gain on each section, but there has to be a better way... right?

I have over a hundred audio clips in my project, and I want them all to be the perfect volume, isnt there some kind of tool for that?  And they should be like -1, right before the red bars am I right?   Thank you!

The problem is very simple, Adobe is broken, the latest versions of the programs do not work, Photoshop does not allow you to import RAW, CR2, DNG files, a program error appears and that's it. Premier does not let me view any video, I only import a clip and it closes, I tried to install the Beta version and the same thing happens, I installed InDesign and the same thing happens, I don't know what's wrong with Adobe but you're doing it wrong and we're paying money for this. The only application that works for me in an older version is Photoshop, any answer for this? It happened to me with Windows 11 and that's why I installed Windows 10 and the same thing happens, the NVIDIA controller drivers are not because the media encoder works normally with the GPU and without problems.

My video won't playback in the program sequence screen. I have audio but no video. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program etc. It's like the whole program is glitching! What do I do? 

I’m having issues with Premiere Pro 24.6.3 crashing whenever I try to create a new caption. I’ve tried reinstalling the program, using a different workstation, and even reformatting my computer, but the problem keeps happening. I’d rather not upgrade to the 2025 version because some of my plugins don’t work with it. Also, from my experience and what my friends and colleagues have seen, the 2025 version sometimes won’t let us drag and drop nested sequences or footage onto the timeline, even after resetting preferences and reinstalling. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice on fixing it?Here is the recorded video of what actually happening when i tried creating a caption.

Hello! I am currently experiencing an issue while working on a project that wasn't an issue until this recent update! Usually I can use audio channels A1/2 for different videos that I used different microphones on, and alternate which audio clip I'd use by enabling and dissabling another. Currently that is not the problem.  What is the problem is that now I am not hearing what I put into channels A3/4, which I use for background music. I can see on the audio mixer that it is playing, but even when I solo those channels I still am not hearing the audio tracks. I can hear them If I move the audio into A1/2 but that is not helpful for me.  Would anyone know how to hear all audio channels at once? I'm not sure why this changed for me.
