Where is the search and automatic link function of clips in Premiere Pro 2025? Premiere Pro 2024 ExampleIn Premiere Pro 2024 you get the search function when clicking "Locate" in the first step connecting/linking missing footage.Below you can see the "Search" button in Premiere Pro 2024. Using this you can automatically connect loads of missing footage.  Premiere Pro 2025In Premiere Pro 2025 there is a "Locate" button as you can see in the image below! But......in the next step you get the MacOs finder search instead of the search function within Premiere Pro. Why have you done this, its very problematic to use the MacOs Finder to locate and link the files one by one. This is just not functioning. I cant use the program now.Is this a bug? Working with footage, linking and project management is so important that it works. Hello all!I'm having trouble with exporting a video with custom made (After Effects) Media Replacement MOGRTs.Every time I export the video, they flicker in the final edit. Also, not playing the sfx that are built into them. A new MOGRTs is affected every time I export, (it's never in the same place - seemingly random).Things I have tried:- Placed an adjustment layer on top of all the footage with a blank Lumetri effect applied.- Cleared Media Cache before exporting.- Exported using Sortware Encoding instead of Hardware encoding.My specs are as follows:Adobe Premiere 2025 for MacRunning on: Macbook Pro with M2 Max Chip, 32 GB memory, 30 Core GPU.Please help! Hi, I Cant import and use some mogrt file that shows to install AE 2025.0 or later , im already installed AE but the problem still there why?    

Updated 3/14/24. "Upgrade Caption to Graphic," was introduced with PR 23.1 - Dec 2022. This is a huge advance. See:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/working-with-captions.html This changes one or more captions to regular graphics text on a video track. Hello everyone,I've just started using Premiere Pro 25.4.1 and am encountering a rather perplexing issue. After importing several HD video clips, when I drag them onto the timeline, the footage appears heavily pixelated, almost like a moiré effect. Is there any way in Premiere to export a file that matches the sequence settings for 18fps and 16fps content transfered from Super8 and 8mm film?  Even with 'Match Source' checked in the export panel, Premiere seems not match and to force the export to 15fps.If this is not possible in Premiere, it seems like a massive oversight.  Please tell me there is a way.

I used to work with go pro fx reframe plugin to control 360 videos.Te current solution that supported by premiere is insta 360 reframe V2.But I need to open previous projects from recent years - and premiere forces me to convert project to 2025 version . as a result I can not view or re-edit these projects - all insta files taged as offline.How can I load these projects?

Hola he decidido hacer este comentario, porque no entiendo cúal será mi problema, pago la suit de Adobe, pero el problema que tengo es que en Adobe premiere, edito videos, para short o reels, y lugo de exportar el primero, al segundo se me queda trabado en la barra  de proceso, cuando va por el 40% en adelante, intento solventar reiciando el equipo pero al querer nuevamente exportar tengo el mismo problema.  Si alguien, de la comunidad tuvó el mismo problema y logró resolverlo, le agradeciría si lo comparte conmigo, de ante mano muchas gracias por su tiempo.

I used to click on the video directly to make changes in size and position, but for some reason since I changed to a MAC and used the paid version of Premiere, I just cannot use the pointer for that, and its driving me nuts.Is there any button I should have selected for that to happen instead of me having to select the video in the timeline and then going to effect control to select it again un the movement part? PLEASE HELP.

I have never seen a clip not have motion under the effect controls (in source monitor) until today. I don't have access to the motion drop down arrow on some clips. So I can't change position, rotation, scale, etc.What might be causing this and how do I correct it? Thanks!Jim

Dear all, Hello. I have a problem with Korean Input in CEP 12 Panel. When I input Korean in input or textarea tag, a small box which shows the last Korean character occurs at the left top of the screen like below: I assume this is related to character composition event. Maybe the event is not in sync between Premiere Pro and the panel. I found that this problem doesn't occur on CEP 9/10. I'd like to know whether there is a plan to fix this, or any way to fix this problem. Thank you.

So I'm editing text in the transcript, but there is a second person talking in the text for a different speaker. I have no clue how to change the speaker on selected or highlighted text. I would like to do this because i want to export a transcript and having the correct speakers is important. Any help would be really appreciated thank you.   picture for reference. I want to change Jerry's highlighted dialogue to Jessica as the spaeker. thank you.  

Ive been experiencing an issue with premier pro where video playback will freeze but it keeps playing audio, the playhead doesn't move with the audio, i can move it but it doesnt scrub back to the selected area and the pause button doesn't work. Ive found a couple things that will bring it back to life so to speak but these are only temp fixes as it comes back within 5 to 10 mins of editing. I find it odd that its doing this as I'm not even editing a lot of footage or importing much other than one file to the project. I used to be able to use this setup fine so it seems weird that this is now happening as i havent changed much in my editing techniquies. All footage is stored on its own dedicated SSD , transferring it to a different SSD/Drive in my system doesn't seem to help. Ive tried having premier pro installed on a different drive than my C: drive as well, but it didn't make any difference, also every update it just installs it back to my C: drive anyway for some odd reas

This question must have been asked a million times already, but I can't find the answer anywhere (sigh), so here I go : I would like to know if you can add space between two clips on your sequence WITHOUT having to select and move the big chunck of clips that comes afterwards. It has to be possible, I don't see any other way...Anyways, an answer would be much appreciated !

Hey everyone, looking for advice on a good workflow for saving project files and footage once a video is finished. For Context: I make YouTube long-form videos that mix a lot of animation with live-action footage. My raw footage comes from my camera as H.264 files (usually 40+ clips). At the start of each project, everything gets transcoded in Media Encoder to Apple ProRes for editing. The ProRes files are used in both Premiere (for editing) and After Effects (for animation and compositing). The final edit in Premiere includes those AE renders and linked comps. I also have a ton of graphics, assets, and precomps — many of which never make it into the final version. Once it’s done, I export the finished video for YouTube. After finishing: It's not common but I do sometimes need to go back and make changes. But I also need to keep on eye on storage space. Replace Media is not in Premiere Pro 2025.This would've been in the edit tab of Essential Graphics in the 2024 verison which I used all the time. I thought it would be in the new Properites or Graphics Templates which replaced the Essential Graphics but its not there at all in the 2025 verison. Really hard for my workful now and I'll be moving back to 2024 as 2025 is a complete downgrade. 

I don't know if I've changed a setting somehow, but previously when I made a cut to a clip in the timeline, it would auto-select the first of the resulting 2 clips. Selection follows playhead is on and it will auto-select a clip as it should when the playhead is over it. Included some screenshots below to illustrate what I mean. Thanks in advance.

Hi there. Is anyone familiar with the Filmstro Premiere extension? It was on Adobe Exchange but has been removed since Filmstro has migrated away from their powerful desktop software to a nauseatingly cluncky and feature-poor web app. I came across Filmstro several years ago on YouTube and always said "one day." I finally subscribed to it only to come across this dreadful news afterwards. I was able to find a download link to the standalone software but it was the very first version and isn't very polished. I would really love the Premiere version, but have scoured the web and not found a single download link. I was wondering if anyone might have an installer that they could share. Thanks.

I record videos with a camera on a tripod, fixed point, in 16x9 format. Using the "Auto Reframe" feature (Premiere Pro 2024), i can resize to 9x16 in a practical way - but there is a problem that i wanted to know if there was a solution."Auto Reframe" makes the camera move according to the person's movement and i would like it to remain fixed, without this tracking - even though the person may move out of the frame a little.How can I do this without having to resize each cut in the sequence?Could someone help me, please?!

I am very new to premiere pro (currently in school and in a digital film production class) where we need to follow a tutorial from valentina vee. I have created 4 multicam sequences, but when i go to drag them to my timeline it only drags over as one nested clip. I have toggled off the insert and overwrite sequences button but it's still only dragging as one nested clip. Is anyone able to help guide me? 

I have a problem in subtitles. Suddenly it is impossible to write i and j. The programme only allows I and J. I have tried to copy an i from one sub to another, but it comes out the same way.  I have tried to change font, to cloes PP and restart the computer. Anyone? 

Hi everyone,I’m hoping to get some insight on a pretty baffling issue I’m facing in Adobe Premiere Pro. I’ve got a timeline that’s many hours long, mostly filled with iPhone clips and a few other camera sources. One of those sources is an Insta360 GO 3S, and I’m only running into problems with a single video that was shot in what they call “FreeFrame Video Mode” or “FreeCapture.”So this FreeFrame mode lets you record a wide-angle (not full 360 in my case) video and then reframe it later in the Insta360 app or desktop software. You can also apply various forms of stabilization (i.e. Horizon lock, Dewarp, etc). The file’s an MP4, and I believe that there is stabilization data embedded in the MP4, which is what the insta360 software refers to in order to apply the variosu reframing effects. I'm only sure if this is relevant to my issue, but I'm mentioning it in order to help troubleshoot the issue. So anyway, at first, everything was totally fine in Premiere. I could work with it for a fe
