Adobe’s online “Adobe Podcast” program needs to be incorporated into Premiere now. Why isn’t it already?

I’m using a 2019 Mac running Monterey 12.3; I haven’t updated because I’ve heard Premiere doesn’t work well with the new update. Anyways, since yesterday, Premiere suddenly froze, so when I exited the program and tried to start it back up, it has consistently crashed upon startup each time. I’ve cleared the cache four times, restarted a dozen more, force quit, basically every method under the sun except reinstall. Before this happened I was trying to put my project into 4K. Normally a simple computer restart fixes the problem, I even deleted the project that I was trying to convert to 4K, but nothing has changed. I can’t even create a new project without it crashing before it even opens the program.

Each time I open up a new project and head over to the Audio Workspace in Premiere Pro 2025 the Audio Track Mixer panel does not show correctly. The Audio Track Mixer meters are not showing. I can see the meters in the Audio Mix panel correctly. I have to save and exit the programme then when I re-open the project it appears. It is quite annoying as I am paying for this programme. Any ideas?

I'm using the Logitech MX Master 3 on a MacBook Air M1. I have mainly 2 problems... 1 - When I zoom in a timeline with the Alt+Vertical Scroll, the timeline zoom all the way without any issues, at any speed. But when I try to zoom out fast, it goes all the way out and sudently goes all the way in very fast at the zoom. It's very annoying because when I wanna see all the project by zooming out, I have to do it very slowly. (In the video: 00:00 - 00:13) 2 When I use the the zoom in/out with the Alt+Horizontal Scroll of the MX Master 3, the "stops" are not quite smooth. Between one and another stop the change is too much abrupt... (In the video: 00:13 - final) Any solutions for this problems?

Iurge you to shift your focus from minor color grading updates to essential Al editing automation,like DaVinci Resolve's Al Multicam Smartswitch and automated rough cuts. As it stands, your Al feature set is starting to lag significantly behind the competition.

Hi everyone,we are working with a Premiere Pro Team Project in a small team. Each of us has the media stored locally on our own machine (same files, but in different local locations).The problem we’re running into: Whenever one team member relinks media, Premiere updates the absolute file path in the Team Project. As soon as the project syncs, that new local path is applied on the other team members machines as well, causing media to go offline there. This ends up constantly breaking the project for someone else. I really don’t get how that can happen. Is there a way in Premiere Pro / Team Projects to map media paths per user?Thanks a lot for any insight or real‑world experience!

why did Adobe remove the ability to exportAsEDL / exportToEDL from the scripting API in v26 Premiere? I have an extension that lets me batch export EDLs for multiple sequences. It used to work in v24, it's really useful in my line of work when prepping 50-100 timelines for color/online. Is there any plan to add that back to the scripting API? Or just add a way to export multiple EDLs with multiple video tracks at once please!

In Premiere Pro v26.2, I have markers on my timeline that I want to keep, but whenever I cut stuff from the timeline (using keyboard shortcuts or the Program window), any markers in the are I cut also get deleted (even when they are at the border between the selected and non-selected areas). Whenever I search for how to stop this, the instructions usually include unchecking “Ripple Sequence Markers,” but the Sequence Markers get deleted regardless of whether that setting is checked or not. 

I have a master sequence with multiple nested sequences inside and I want to cut out all the “um” “uh” “you know”. However, the text-based editing mode is greyed out. I’m guessing it’s because of the use of nested sequences? What should I do? 

I’ve seen other questions regarding Encore under the Premiere section. I’m aware that Encore was discontinued in 2012 but there is nothing else in the suite that I’m aware of for making interactive DVD menus and the like. Yes, DVDs are also a bit old hat with Blu-ray but I don’t have the equipment to write onto Blur-ray.How can I download it if possible? I’ve been looking for alternatives without success.

Hey all, I can’t seem to find an answer to this question. Every time I look, all I get is the answer to a different question, so here goes:I have a track in my projects that consists entirely of text. I need to use this track across all my videos. It is the purple track at the top of this image… So...this purple tack contains the text for this image...The text in question is the Member stuff (“Special Thanks to….”). Okay, that’s the setup.I need to use that track on all of my videos (naturally, it’s my channel member list). So I would like to take that track and save it out to a file, that I could then import into each project. But here is the problem, my membership list will change over time, right? So I really want that text (ideally) to be editable (so I could then adjust and resave it as needed for future videos). So I can’t just export that track as a video, it needs to be editable.Right now, the only solution I have is to open up the prior video, copy that track, and paste it int

Hello,I record video via a BlackMagic HyperDeck, and audio via a SoundDevices MixPre10-II. I have the HyperDeck set as the Timecode source, with a BNC cable run to the MixPre, and the MixPre reads the timecode from its BNC input. I take the files straight into Premiere, place them on a timeline, select them, right click, Synchronize, Timecode. This method has worked for months, but recently has stopped working. When I click on Synchronize, the Timecode option is completely greyed out. I can however, merge clips using Timecode. When removing pauses using Text based Editing, it still leaves a lot of room even though minimum pause length is set to 0.01 seconds  Version 26.2I tried to test with multiple files, all the same, tried with a new project, same behavior. 26.2 leaves way more room before cutI see that this got marked as a question, this is a bug

When I hit import preset, the file doesn’t even show up in finder. When i drag it into premeire pro it says the file is not supported but its the exact file type that they need. Im on 2026, latest version. can someone help?

I'm learning the keyboard shortcuts in Premiere Pro and After Effects at the same time, and it boggles my mind that Adobe would make nearly everything incompatible between these two programs. I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about. One of them is the shortcut to zoom to view the entire timeline. There are many other inconsistencies like that.I'm considering making a changes to the shortcuts in these programs to bring them more into alignment with each other, and I'm wondering if anyone else has done this and if there's an commonly used standard in the industry to compensate for this workflow killer.Or do you all just learn both systems, or just not use the shortcuts?

Hello. Any assistance appreciated, thank you.When creating a mask using the Pen Masking tool I have the following issues:>It takes a few attempts of drawing the mask for the Program Monitor to show the mask which has been created.>When the mask does appear on the screen, I copy the mask from Unassigned Masks to the Effect I want to apply (for instance - Lumetri Color) and then adjust the settings in that Effect. So far so good (if slow compared to creating Masks in previous versions)..>But...If it’s a moving shot I need to manually track the Effect and its Mask. However with this new masking tool I can’t seem to apply Keyframes so that the Mask can track with the shot. The auto tracking tool (the Mask Forward play-shaped button) just does its own thing and isn’t useful.Therefore I can’t track an effect, which is increasingly rendering masks very restrictive. Hi everyone,I’m facing a major issue with rendering performance that started about 1–2 months ago. I’ve been working for the same company for several years with a consistent workflow and project complexity, but lately, rendering has become a nightmare.Projects that used to take under 10 minutes to export now take 40+ minutes. The performance seems inconsistent and unpredictable, even though the source files and effects remain the same as before. I am NOT using any third-party plugins.Troubleshooting steps I’ve already taken:1. Performed a clean reinstall of the Adobe ecosystem using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.2. Tried rolling back to previous versions of Premiere Pro/Media Encoder.3. Did a clean GPU driver install using DDU in Safe Mode.4. One of my clients has a feature film in which the sound needs some postproduction TLC. The spoken dialogue in several scenes needs a bit more clarity, mainly because there’s some competing ambient noise. The dialogue also needs to generally be better distinguished from the ambient sounds and music that are in the background. (All the dialogue was recorded on a camera-mounted microphone. No booms or lavaliers.) The main issue is that, apparently, the only recording the client still possesses includes all elements of the soundscape (dialogue, sound effects and music) on only one track. So, mixing this audio is harder than it would be if each element had its own distinct track. So, what are the best ways to enhance and clarify the dialogue especially so it sounds more distinct than the background sounds? The client is unable to rerecord the dialogue, perform ADR or do anything that would cost extra money. I know that using postproduction tools too much to clean or tweak the sound can make

I have attached the issue in the video below, whenever I try to drag the text layer or any layer to increase its duration, it lags very much, but when I try to increast it duration from the back side of the layer it works smooth. What could be the issue and how can I resolve this? Premier is latest version 

I’m using Premiere 26.2. I created captions on a project. I only wanted them in a sidecar file, not burned in. I exported the project to MP4. I tried everything to prevent the captions from being burned in:With the captions Export Options set to “Create Sidecar File” With the captions slider turned completely off After turning off the view (eye) icon on the captions track After COMPLETELY DELETING the captions trackIn every single case, the file was created with the captions burned in. The only thing that actually worked was to do ALL of the above, plus right-clicking every audio track and choosing “Ignore Transcript.” Is this a known bug?
