Hi, Can't send an audio clip from Premier Pro to Audition for editing. Reinstalling both apps doesn't help. Error 0xc0000142. Using Adobe Premiere Ppro 25.6.3, Audition 25.6. Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Prior to me opening up Creative cloud, my co-worker informed me that we would be using the Creative Cloud applications at our company. My co-worker also elaborated that there was no instruction manual to assist a person (PDF instruction manual for download) in finding out how to properly run these applications. I said "alright, I will be down there to see what you are talking about. When I arrived, I told her that anything you purchased, had to have a instruction manual. How else is a person to learn the application? After opening up the Creative cloud and typing a question into a box......I was taken back. Utterly taken back. Adobe, a large size company with some really good products had no PDF instruction manuals for Preimere Pro 2025 or After Effects 2025. If you needed answer to a question, you had to type out the question and then acquire an answer with broad definitions for all sorts or questions. Hey all,I regularly work on projects that comprise of content shot internally (log) and rec709 footage. The new (to me) colour management feature is really helping me to get the best from my log footage but as soon as I need to incorporate rec.709 footage (or on some occassions GFX) the whole thing falls apart. The rec.709 content is coming in dull, washed out and dark. If I check 'Preserve RGB' then the image becomes nuclear. Am I missing a trick here? Can the two colour sciences can peacefully co-exist on the same timeline or would I have to nest/export the graded log content and then add the rec709 content on a separate timeline that bypasses colour management?I've conducted a test, exporting a shot from my timeline and then bringing it back in to illustrate my issue. The same issue applies to stock footage and externally produced rec.709 content so it isn't specific to my export/settings. Another issues I've had (may need a separate thread) is that when I go to export the preview m

I've struggled with the dreaded Mac QT gamma compensation issue in the past, but for some reason, I'm back at struggling with it. I've tried everything I can and I'm trying to narrow down the issue as well as I can. So essentially the issue is that the colors look washed out after exporting the video out of Premiere, depending on what I view the video with. What I did was take a video, drop it in to Premiere, in to a new sequence, and export it out. No changes done to the file in Premiere. In Quicktime, the original file looks colorful and contrasty, but the exported file looks a bit washed out. In VLC, they look exactly the same. I dropped them in to Google Drive, and they look exactly the same there too. Dropping the newly exported file in to Premiere, on to the same timeline, it looks just like the original. I decided to try and change the file names in Drive and download them back on to my computer. Once again, the original looks good but the exported looks washed out. Se

Hi! I'd like to ask if there's anyone else having the same issue. I have triple monitor setup.And in premiere, I have program and source monitor in my main display, timeline panel in second display, and project panel in third display. I saved this workspace, but everytime I open the project, timeline panel and project panel open up in my main display, and I have to manually move them to other displays.I think, a while ago, they used to open up in different displays just as I set up. But with recent premiere updates, it changed. Those undocked panels open up in my main display first when first opened. Is this a solvable issue? or recent premiere is programmed like this? thanks in advance.

Hi,I have an AE effect created (by a friend of mine) that is not showing up on the PP timeline, even though it is there.  Please note the attached two screengrabs.In 1. you can see the AE effect on V4 (in red); also it is in the Source monitor (showing and playing correctly).  However, it is not showing up correctly within the Source monitor.  In 2. you can see that when the effect is clicked on then it is showing up and playing within the Record monitor, as to be expected.This effect is to be replicated in 4 different places, and so I need to see it working correctly on the timeline, so that I may line it up appropriately.Please advise,DC

Hi,On the back of a previous thread I made (https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/integrating-third-party-software/m-p/15644379#M576929) I now have NewBlueFX Titler Pro 6 integrated with my installation of PP. But there are working problems - please note the attached screengrab.When grabbing the effect and placing it on the timeline on the video track above the track where the live action is placed, then clicking the effect to open its UI, as you can see there is is no live action track showing within TP6's work panel. Also, when closing TP6, PP then crashes and asks to send an Error Report.I appreciate that this is most likely a NewBlueFX issue to resolve, and I have also contacted them (and to begin, they say this is no longer a supported version of the software), yet I wondered if anyone here in the PP community would have the answer?Thank you,DC

After following the same steps many YouTube videos show, my multicam sequence will just show two times the same image (I already tried to toggle the V1, V2 etc. layers, moved the layers themselfes, my display is set to multi-camera, multi-camera is enabled...). I used to work with multicam very easely in the past and lately I'm facing this problem.Can someone pinpoit a problem here? 

When using the pause filter and deleting silences, Premiere Pro deletes the WHOLE pause, leading to a very unnatural flow of speech between sentences.  The trim multiple clips feature to add frames back is a terrible workaround for two reasons: 1) if there are already cuts in the sequence, you can't isolate the deleted pauses.  2) There's no control to leave frames based on the amount of space deleted.   For example, if I find all pauses that are 5 seconds or more, I want to leave 1 second of pause.  Then to find all pauses 2 seconds or more, i want to reduce those down to 0.5 seconds. I'm frustrated that with the number of complaints about the delete pauses feature leading to unnatural speach flow that this wasn't fixed by now. It takes way too much work manually addding back breathing room between 100's of deleted pauses the way the feature works now. Am I missing something?

I have a fairly strong Computer. Inside my NVIDIA update settings, It keeps on showing Update Available. I just got a Mac with the new Apple M4 Chip with 16 GB of RAM memory. I used to have a Mac created in 2021 with the M1 Chip. I launched premiere pro thinking that it would run smoother and faster but to no avail. I uploaded my raw footage and the playback was atrocious it was choppy the entire time. This is despite me putting the playback to 1/4, this is despite me having the GPU acceleration renderer to Mercury Playback Engine (Metal), and I'm reserving the most amount of RAM possible for adobe products. Everything else on my computer seems to run smoothly it's just Premiere Pro that is currently giving me issues. I even tried to download an earlier version of Premiere (24) and didn't work. Even DaVinci Resolve was slow for me.Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

So first things first.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Premiere Pro. I have deleted the cache. I havedouble checked that all settings match the iMAc that runs Premiere perfectly. I have tried to import audio as mp3 and wav. When I double click the media in the source panel and click on the audio I am greeted with green. See pic:If I try and drag the imported file into the sequence i get the no entry cursor. See pic:When I drag an imported video (where the audio can be heard in quicktime - both iphone and dslr files) I get a video track but no audio track - even though V1 and A1 are toggled on. See pic:Maybe I'm missing something really basic but I am utterly bewildered. Anyone have a solution that doesn't involve something I've already tried...updates, reinstalls, checking the video has audio in an different media player, correct toggling of V1 and A1 etc etc?Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

El cabezal no avanza y no pasa absolutamente nada, aunque el proyecto y los clips estén bien cargados en la línea de tiempo.No aparece ningún error, simplemente la reproducción no funciona y me impide seguir trabajando. Reiniciar a veces lo soluciona y a veces no.¿Me pueden ayudar a ver si es un bug de la versión o cómo resolverlo?Gracias.

Assinei o adobe podcast para limpar ruídos de fundo (não foi realmente eficaz porque some com o R em palavras-chave como "obra"). O problema maior é que não é possível baixar, legendar ou usar qualquer ferramenta. Ele faz uma limpeza de áudio ajustável mas o resultado fica preso. 

Got a weird bug going on. Noticed a clip on my timeline with diagnal stripes through it. Poked at it and it seemed like some kind of indiactor for a linking issue? Did Reveal In Finder only to see that somehow, Premiere had dropped the link to the correct source file, and relinked to a different file on the drive with the same file name. Def seems like a bug.  In trying to resolve it, I went into the project panel, found, file, and selected Make Offline. Got the Media Options popup. Selected Media Files Remain on Disk. Clicked OK. Then I got another popup, warning me "Are you sure you want to delete the media files from the disk". Def a bug. I cancelled out of it.  I tried the whole process a few more times, with the same exact steps. On about the 3rd or 4th try, it acted normally, and I was able to relink the correct file. Can someone please advise on this? I suspect I've got other auto-relinked files on the timeline im gonna have to find and deal with, s

Wondering if anyone has found a plugin for Premiere with the kind of controls found in DaVinci and other robust grading software? I find the lumetri controls limiting. Years ago I installed Codex color synth, which is great but it was discontinued after a couple of years and now it's starting to crash premiere. I thought the old speed grade was fine, I even thing synthetic aperature in after effects is OK. I don't like the Red Giant apps I've seen. I really wish Adobe would just update their interface but I can't wait anymore. Anyone have any suggestions? Going out to DaVinci and back takes way too long. And I'm not switching editing software, I have years and dozens of projects deeply entrenched in the Adobe suite.

I'm having trouble with Frame.io v4. It keeps doing this over and over, and I can't use the app at all because of it. Do you have a fix?  

Hi everyone,I’m facing a severe stability issue with Premiere Pro that is making the software unusable. While my laptop runs DaVinci Resolve and CapCut smoothly, Premiere Pro is causing total system failure.The Major Symptoms:* Total System Freeze & Restart: During active editing or color rating, the entire laptop hangs (mouse frozen, keyboard unresponsive) for a few seconds and then restarts automatically.* Multiple BSODs: When it doesn't just restart, I get Blue Screen errors: 0x00000050 (Page Fault in Nonpaged Area) and 0x00000133 (DPC Watchdog Violation).* CUDA Black Screen: If I enable Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA), the preview monitor goes black. Normally when I click "Save as", I keep the original file name, it gives me the little pop up warning me I'm about to save over the old version essentially, and then next time I open the program everything is right where I left it. But this time when I did that, the whole window went grey as soon as I clicked "ok". I closed the program and opened the file again, and my whole timeline its previous contents in my project panel as one nested sequence. I was EXTREMELY lucky that I had just happened to forget to do a save until I was already finished. The rest of the clips and audios I used were still maintained in the project panel too btw, if that's important. The "fix" seems to be changing the file name before I save, but this is quickly gonna become a pain in the butt and kill my computer storage, since I'm a "better be safe than sorry" kind of mid-edit saver. Any way I could've messed with some settings by accident? I made sure I was saving them as prproj files, so its not that. I

Can you set up sub folders in the media bin to categorize your content?
