I've been having this issue where my opacity mask doesn't align and it becomes a nightmare when I jump ahead on the timeline because the mask just keeps moving further and further away from the blue outline. Sometimes the lines align perfectly, but then other times it's just awful.

After upgraded to the very latest 2018 (April) update of Premiere Pro CC I can't use "Reveal In Project" anymore in Thumbnail view. It works only on list view. I tried several install/uninstall, different pc, cleared cache, new project/old project etc. But nothing happen.Sometime also project panel search bar greyed out too.I already updated and still working with 7 different project on this version of premiere, so i can't even go back to previous version.

hi there I am new in mac system and I have macbook m3 "max" when I tried to do speed ramp in premiere it started with a lag and drop frame in the speed ramping period I tried to change the frames sequence from 24 up to 60 fps it doesn't help it is so weird becuase definitely it will not happen because of my laptop is weak with "42" ram if anyone has solution out of the requirements to run premiere just let me know(speed ramp is choppy and lag)by the way I tried other versions of premiere and beta one and the issue still exist I hope I find solution for this issue 

Quite often I cannot import video to timeline till I close and re-open project. I will be dragging videos from Windows Explorer to the timeline - it will work for a while, then at a certain point it will stop working. I have to save and close thge project, re-open and it works again. I've had this problem for years on various version of Premiere. I'm just finally frustrated by it enough to post and ask what's up with that?

Premiere Pro's media browser does not open Dropbox folders. Can't link files in the Dropbox folder. Is there are way to fix that?

I wanted to create an effect where the letter “Mo” vibrates after moving using scale and blur, but the effect is affecting other letters outside of it.I want to apply the effect only to the first “Mo.” How can I do that?　The video demonstrates the effect in action. In the screenshot image, you can confirm that blur and scale are being used.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When pressing play in the timeline, the blue play head usually runs very smoothly from left to right.  Since the new update, the play head is now very laggy and jittery. 

I Loved Premiere Pro CS6 but its time to go CC.  With LinkedIn Learning being the only tutorials available, what CC Version should I jump in at?  Talking Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Seems like there' any really well thought out training out there. Almost impossible to figure out which version instructors are using.  Learning  all this really does require following along = gotta use same APP version as instructor.  They talk about this issue -- so far what they say hasn't worked for me.   My screen should look like instructors when they do something important.  Effective Training is scarce.  Maybe somebody knows of some somewehere.  Thx Dave

So let me get this straight. Frame.io promotes V4 as this new and glorious ui.Yet the final cut pro integration doesn’t work,The desktop transfer app doesn’t work for MAC,If I want to make an api connection I have to create an adobe account and make an app through their portal for a connection and its not easy instead of a simple generate api key like everyone else does, BUT NOW..... im finding out that the V4 Zapier connection doesn’t even work?YET OUR SUBSCRIPTION PRICES ARE STILL THE EXACT SAME WITH NO ACCESS TO THE ORIGINAL FEATURES AS DESCRIBED FOR ALMOST A YEAR…..I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE ANY OF MY WORKFLOWS THAT I OPERATED ON FOR ALMOST A YEAR, AND ANY WORK AROUND FRAME.IO HAS MADE IT SUPER DIFFICULT. WHAT IS GOING ON? Since V4 update I dont have the new frame.io integration working, not in Premiere Pro 2025 not even on the beta.How is this possible guys? When can we expect to have this fixed?

Hi everyone, my team and I switched from Wipster to Frame.io because we found the native integration in Adobe Premiere Pro very useful. However, since the update to Frame.io version 4, the connection via “Window → Review with Frame.io” has stopped working – and this has been an issue since November. I initially hoped that the problem would resolve itself when we updated to the latest Premiere Pro version in January, as we do every year, but unfortunately, it didn’t. Additionally, it no longer seems possible to downgrade Frame.io once it has been updated. Frame.io now suggests using an external plugin from the adobe exchange website (https://exchange.adobe.com/apps/cc/202297), but it has received very poor reviews. After testing it ourselves, we found that CTRL + Z no longer works after installation – and I think nobody can live without that. 😉 I also attended an Adobe event in Cologne last week, where I was advised to seek help here in the forum. I have several video clips in Premiere CC that I'm intending to speed up by 200%. I'm using the Speed/Duration dialog box to achieve this. I was able to make this happen with the first video clip, but the subsequent clips will not allow me to input the correct number.Instead of displaying the percentage I type into the box (200% in this case), I'm seeing the same number each time: 2.59%. No matter what number* I input into the box, this is the result. Any additional digits I add are added to the beginning of the number.For instance: Inputting 200% gives me 002.59%; Inputting 123 would give me 232.59%, inputting 0135 would give me 1352.59%.* Correction: To further complicate the matter, this only happens when inputting numbers 0, 1, 2. Typing in any number 3 or above does not have this issue.WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME??

I am using Premier Pro version 22.  I have created transcriptions in the Speech to Text function.  But when I try and export the transcript to a .txt file from the pull down menu after pressing the three dots in the upper right of the text box, nothing happens.  I have tried it several times but no success.  None of the functions work on that pull down menu.  I am using an iMAC.  Is there a setting I need to change somewhere else to make this work?

Is there a way to drag multiple clips at once into the timeline and have them self organize end-to-end on the timeline according to their consecutively numbered filenames.

Hi folks Is the above possible? I get that adjustment layers are basically stills and don't have the same properties as clips, but I can't seem to add Keyframes to properties programmatically.Seems to be an issue with finding the timecode or frame to add the keyframes to. It seems to adjust the value of the first frame over and over but not add a Keyframe. Works fine on clips.Thanks   

Hello everyone,  The screen after opening the project is full of glitch on the video preview as well as the rest of the tools with random black part of the screen when I hover my mouse over it.Anyone knows how to fix this ? It only works normaly 1 out of 15/20 times... Thanks for your help.

Hi, it´s impossible to edit with music when the timeline for audio is extremly choppy. You can´t edit to the beat! I have all the latest updates but this problem have been an issue for a long time now.

HiI am using windows and Premier Pro CC.  I have imported jpeg still shots files from InDesign into my project and also have video clips from my smart phone and a video camera. I have to submit my video as an MPEG4 format but it seems to only allow me to export as a 3gp file.  Help please? Deadline is fast approaching!!

When working on a project that contained a multi-cam nest that originally had a mono clip, I replaced the audio clip with a stereo clip.  Now Premiere duplicates one of the channels and treats it as a mono clip.  I checked the source it the clip is indeed stereo, but when playing back on the timeline, it is in mono.

Hello! Premiere Pro 2025, macOS Sonoma 14.4I'm working on an eLearning project where the client provides ALL the courses in a long video. I make a sequence for each course, then cut the video based on that.Everything is working fine until I switch sequences. Suddenly, I can't insert clips unless I completely restart the program. Anyone else having this issue?

When I rescale a 4k clip down on a 1080 timeline the clip freezesand just stays on the first frame as I scrub or play. Anyone know how to fix this?  

Hello community, Would love some guidance on how to get the best out of my brand new Mac Studio M2 Ultra64GBMacos - VenturaPremiere Beta First thing we did was download Premeire Beta and upload a video edit of three HD video files and are getting 2-3 second lag on timeline. Each mp4 file was roughly 60-71gb (90min recordings) using one Black Magic 4k Plus and 2 x Sony A7iii through an Atem Mini Pro Iso I've tried to understand how people convert to ProRes but dont understand it fully. What can I be doing when starting edits to make sure the computer runs smoothly and renders/exports as fast as possible without losing quality of image. Thank you 

Hi there, In Lumetri Color of Premiere Pro version 25.3.0, I have pasted my .cube files for Input LUTS into the folder at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2025\Lumetri\LUTs\Technical.  They appear in the Input LUT drop-down menu under Basic Correction, but when I go to select them I can't and it defaults to another one from the end of list. Same thing happens in the Creative section under Look.  I pasted my .cube files into the folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2025\Lumetri\LUTs\Creative.  Some are selectable in the list as they should be, but some at the end of the drop down menu list are unselectable as I desctibed for the Basic Correction. How do I get the LUTS/Looks to be selectable?  Is this a bug?My .cube files are from a pretty reliable third party source.Thank you!

Mp4 is NOT a codec. It is a wrapper ... a container ... which can hold many different codecs! This is why most of the volunteers here immediately request that you provide a screengrab from the free utility app MediaInfo Tree View so we can see what's actually in that "mp4" file. And every camera and app creating them, allows for different options and details to the file structure. Besides using who know's what codec. This is why Premiere struggles to understand them at times. And why sometimes even seemingly "simple" things like renaming can help Premiere properly understand that file's structure.
