Hi Folks,Would someone be able to explain me how would I achieve this effect/feature/edit in an image using Adobe Premiere?Please do not suggest photoshop. I work only with Premiere and sometimes Adobe express (I couldn’t achieve this). The white part at the bottom has a stretched feather that leads to the top image making it partly blurry. 

I found an issue with the latest update of Premiere pro.The WAV Files doesn’t seems to play correctly, everytime this happen, I have to restart the application. I’m uploading a recording. I’m in a new Macbook pro m4, with a fresh installation of Adobe Cloud, so it’s not a Hardware issue.

I drag a video to the timeline, cut it into individual clips and change the label color of that clip, but it changes the whole file. The same occurs when I rename just one clip. It changes it all. 

I’ve created shortcuts to toggle my target video tracks. But when I press them, the selected video track flickers on or off and goes back to its original position, never staying in the desired position.  I’m working on a Mac Studio 2023 (OS 14.5) in Premiere 26.0.1

I have a brand new MacBook Pro M4, 48GB Memory, Sequoia 15.6.1 and am using the latest Premiere Pro 2025, and still it keeps happening that quite often I have the Timeline selected and the focus jumps from the Timeline to the Source or Program monitor without me doing anything. The other thing is that when I select an item on the Timeline to work on it in the Program monitor, it often automatically jumps to a different item than the one I've just selected. Not sure if the two issues are interconnected but any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have a tourbox device and want to have horizontal zoom in/out of the current sequence always assigned and available to one of the wheels on it. Unfortunately, any time another panel has focus, the wheel changes to zooming the program or even the effects control panel. If I preface the command with the F3 key to force focus back on the timeline, it “works”, but if multiple sequences are open, and it alread has focus, it toggles to another sequence instead because of the poor decision to double up that mapping of F3 (both focus and cycle through open sequences).  This seems like the most elementary function, but is seemingly impossible to accomplish. 

Newbie!!!!I'm receiving the error message Sequence Settings Mismatch in Premiere Elements 2026 as I start working on a video a friend sent me. Most of the articles/videos I find about the best way to fix it only apply to Pro, not Elements. Any suggestions?

When I open Premiere Pro it says that the media cache can't be found as it was returned to its original place. Then, when I try to open up my recent project, which I could open up the night before, it says unknown error and can’t open it. I don’t know if this is because when I was saving it, it said it couldn’t be saved as I didn’t have access to (even though I did previously), so I had to try to save it to a different location. I also just updated my computer yesterday, but I opened up the project after that to make sure everything was fine, and it was. It’s just that today it's been unopenable. 

I am working on a Motion Graphics template for my school, which will allow them to highlight the name. of a person speaking out of a list of speakers for a podcast segment we are creating. Currently, I have a fully fleshed-out MOGRT that can switch between speakers, and plays a small animation to transition between them.However, upon reentry to Premiere Pro, I discovered that the properties of a .mogrt are static once created.Splicing multiple clips together where the setting is simply altered is not really possible, given how I programmed the .mogrt (yes, it took coding in JS to function), and also would be way more time consuming for my editors.If there is some hack to get this to work, I would appreciate any advice!Speaker Control is what needs to change, that value changing triggers an animation to switch to the highlighted speaker.It is possible to just simply take my system and make a pre-rendered version where my editors tell me the timecodes they need, and I do it in-house. Hi, I have the latest updated version of Adobe Premiere Pro and I’ve run into a problem. The keyframes for the Mask tool don’t work at all. The AI Mask tool also doesn’t work and seems to have broken the entire masking functionality. I can’t even create a simple hand-animated mask.Because of this, I’m unable to animate mask movement, which is seriously slowing down my workflow.What could be causing this issue, and how can I fix it?

I am working with several editors in a Premiere production. Our production and all project files are stored on Lucid Link, and our media is on local attached storage on every editor's respective computer. A few times a day, Premiere generates an error that there are duplicate projects, even though no one created any duplicates. The solution is always to make a copy of the project that is supposedly duplicate, as indicated in the txt file premiere generates, and send the original to the trash. What is causing this, and how can i prevent it?

I updated a project to 2026, but every single edit operation results in a five second beachball - insert edit, overwrite edit, ripple delete, Track select forward & drag, etc.    All these operations beachball and no input works, then eventually the operation happens.   None of this happens when I open the original project in 2025. I’ve reset cache, updated Blackmagic RAW plugin, restarted computer and app, to no avail. Mac Studio M1, macOS 15.7.2, Premiere 2026.0.1

Adobes Podcase enhancer site is great. I can basically plug in crappy audio, and I thnk it jsut AI clones the voice and spits at a clone with all the background issues gone. I’m wondering...does this exist within Premiere? I looked within the Essential Sound panel but I dont see it an any obvious place. please and thank you!

Font is jagged, cant seem to understand why though - Every text looks like this a bit, some more than others, but in essence all of them have issues, especially the ones with diagonal lines like the A, N, R, V etc My video seems a bit interlaced as well - so weird. I switched recently from a 2060 super to a 7900xtx - could the GPU be the issue here? I thought AMD was the overall best regarding video editing…  

I have been migrating a huge Premiere project into a Production. I’m new to Productions.I’ve been saving sequences as individual projects in the production. So far so good. But what I don’t understand is what to do with my project’s music and graphics assets. When I make a normal project, I make bins in the project that mirror the folders on my disk: 02 Media03 Graphics04 Music …. and so on. So far, I’ve been migrating the “02 Media” sub-bins one by one and turning them into projects in the production. But what do I do with the graphics and music? I want these to be available to all the projects in the production - as they have been in the (very huge) project. Help! (I’ve been avoiding learning this for years, but with years’ worth of footage for this project now, it’s time to move over!) 

I am having a bizarre issue. Currently editing a 3 angle multicam sequence on latest version of Premiere (v25.2.0) on an M2 Macbook. I am editing with a drive that only contains my footage as 576p ProRes proxies. All of the footage and audio is on this one drive.  I have placed my multicam clip into the timeline and it plays smoothly. If, however, I go into multicam mode to switch between angles easily, the playback lags and stutters to a point that it's not really possible to work. One might think that this is a speed issue where my computer for some reason can't handle 3 feeds playing back at the same time, but this does not seem to be the case. If I close out multicam mode and double click on my multicam clip in the timeline, the multicam will open in the Source window. In the Source window, all three angles in the multicam sequence play out flawlessly and smooth. When I playback from the timeline, however, it is still totally choppy and laggy. I haven’t seen this before. Same lighting, same camera settings (full manual wb and exposure, though af might have been on) but this time my host’s blue shirt seems to “blink” between a deep blue and more of a purple. Not exactly rhythmic, and not necessarily tied to his movements. I don’t see this in other colors, and I do see it in the scopes. I don’t recognize it as moire, but maybe it’s a weird variation? I’ve tried hue and sat shifts to no avail. Maybe some interference pattern between the sensor and the somewhat lesser quality LED point source key light. We might have to live with it this time on YouTube, but I sure would like to prevent it in the future. Lumix GH6, 4k, 10b 422 All-i on a 1080 timeline. I’ll try a quick export and see if the downsampling makes a difference. If I apply a denoise filter to a track in the Audio Track Mixer, it only works as long as I don’t click away from Premiere to another app, or the Finder. When I return, the effect no longer works and I need to re-apply it each time. Anyone else have the issue?

I went to go nudge an audio clip in the timeline by one frame using alt+left/right yesterday (like I always do) and it is no longer working. The keyboard shortcut for nudging a clip by five frames left and right still works, and nudging up and down still works, but not nudging one frame left or one frame right. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling premiere, resetting the original settings, etc. and nothing works. How can I fix this?

I know it's a silly one but I'm working on Premiere and sometimes I use that menu. It opens downwards from where I click and since I click it only when I'm on the bottom of the screen, the menu only shows some options and an arrow down to display the rest. What I want to do is to make the menu open using all the screen it needs in order to show every option. I know that's possible, I mean every other app does that. Hey all, I did some quick research on this but came up short. I’ve got voiceover recording working directly into the timeline, and Premiere is automatically laying down the files as expected, but the naming convention seems odd.Right now each take is being named things like:    •    Audio 3    •    Audio3_1    •    Audio3_2    •    Audio3_3and so on.What I’d like instead is to define a custom base name, for example:    •    Voiceovers_1    •    Voiceovers_2    •    Voiceovers_3Basically I’m wondering:Is there a place in Premiere where I can control the filename prefix for voiceover recordings before they are created?I checked Preferences (Timeline, etc.) but didn’t see anything obvious there.Also:Is this naming controlled globally, per sequence, or per track?Trying to keep things clean because I’m doing a lot of VO passes and would rather not end up with a pile of generically named audio files later.Appreciate any guidance.

I shot some 59.94 footage on a Canon R6II with the intention of interpreting it as 23.976 for solmo. The footage was shot with 1/125 shutter speed. I have done this with no problem many times. When I interpret the footage to 23.976 and create a new sequence using these clips, when I play the footage if feels like 12fps. When I shuttle frame-by-frame through the clip, every other frame is duplicate. I have tried to replicate the problem by recording new clips on the R6II and the footage slows done fine and looks slow and smooth as it should.. Is there a setting or something I missed that could be causing the duplicate frames?

We just got a new PC with Premiere Pro 2025 Version 25.0.0 (Build 61).  When I import .mts files and drag them onto the timeline there is no audio track (on a known good file - checked in VLC).  We've got an older system with Version 24.6.1 (Build 2) that doesn't have any trouble with the same .mts file.   I was able to convert the file to .mp4 using VLC and edit the program successfully in 25.5.0, but that's time consuming.  Is there a way to get 25.0.0 to accept .mts files?   PC - Dell Precision 5860 Tower OS - Windows 11 Pro for Workstations, Version 24H2 Basic steps - Import known good .mts file, drag from bin to timeline Expected results - A video track AND an audio track
