Questions

Been mucking about with this, but I do miss the color code (gray, green yellow, purple) I used them to see in a glance if an effect was applied or not. Now I have to mouse over the FX badge as they all have the same color Or make sure the ECP is open and clip is selected. Or am I missing something here............

With any log or HLG clips, that you 'override' to Rec.709 for use on a sequence.   Then make proxies from.   Toggle proxies on the sequence, and the proxies are NOT following the CM for either the clip or the sequence.   Useless, blown-out mess is all you have. Hi there,I use the Premiere Pro Beta version, for a quick workflow of translating Dutch audio into English subtitles. This is working great for a weeks.Untill today... When I translate the captions into english, only a little part will be translated. When I translated into an other language it works. Then I updated to the last Beta version (25.4). But now I can not save the project anymore. Or any existing or new project. I get the following message:**You do not have write access to the directory where this project is located.** Any ideas how to solve this? Any experience? Could this be a bug in the Beta version? Thank you.

Yesterday, I made an mogrt file to help me save some time. Long story short it's an animated picture that moves the same but the picture has to be different each time. And I also added some color controls to it. Made few versions, everything worked. Today, I update the Premiere Pro Beta and AE Beta and that file doesn't work anymore. Color controls are fine. The thing I can't replace, move or resize the placeholder image in PP anymore. I already tried to save it as new file on local drive and the library. Didn't work. Also I noticed that the graphic which was dragged down from the Essential graphics menu yesterday is still adjustable. Look at the picture below. Left is before. Right is todayIs it a bug or am I missing something?

How do i do a  Simple credit roller in newest version 25.1.0, essential graphics is gone, and has the new properties panel but how can i do a simple roll crawl like before cheers

Don't know where to put this on official channels but wanted to try to be a good citizen where possible My premiere pro beta install auto-updated to 25.4.0.9 last night and upon opening my current project it completely stalled playback. i could get halting audio, and maybe a still frame if I left it sit for a couple minutes, but it's otherwise completely broken. I AM using an Nvidia 5080 for the benefit of my XAVC HEVC h.265 4k60 footage coming off my ZV-E1.  I'm likely using the new NVDEC decoders for playback, and they've worked great, until now.  That's mainly why I'm using the beta app, even for my main projects. Rolling back to previous version solved it, for now. Turning off auto-update until I know more.Anyone else have this?

Does the extension API currently support navigating to and opening a particular Bin in the Project panel, as if the user had double-clicked it?  If not, could it? - Ryan

Hello, trust all is well.Help needed.I am using the latest version Premire Pro Beta, my exported subtitles (.srt) do not display on my TV, but do so on PC Vlc and also via Windows media player) and eve the translated language does.I have uploaded .pm and .srt files separately and also in same folder. If any help, my tv is a Panasonic TX55FZ802B. When searching folder on TV, it only shows .mp file and not the .srt files, therefore I cannot view subitiles.According an older video (2 years ago) on YouTube video, the guy says to export as embed .srt. On latest version, ther is only two choices: Burn on Video or create sidecar .srt file.I am editing wedding videos and wish my clients to be able to witch on subtitles on their TVs.In case it helps:System is:Windows 11 proIntel Core i9-9900 CPU   3.6 Ghz cranked up to 4.5GhzNvidia GTX 1070i graphics card (latest driver)Three hard drivesSystem is running fine otherwiseThanks in advance.Bob

Hi all, We're letting you know that 25.3.x buids of Premiere Pro Beta are RC/GM candidates; test accordingly.  No changes to C++ or ExtendScript APIs have been made during this minor release, but partners have told us in the past that they'd appreciate notification when we're getting close to a new official release. 

The frame\panel on the lower left is what I get when I use the Ctrl+` shortcut in Beta.But if it did go full screen I wouldn't see the "guides" in the Proj Monitor. Why don't they match?But what I really want to know is why it's not "full screen?"  

It has been noted that when settings for a Sequence working are wide gamut,  and the output is SDR/Rec.709, that graphics and png files will not be completely white. Highest white point typically around 70IRE. TO FIX: Select the graphics or png on the sequence, set the Source Clip option, "Override Media Color Space", to either Rec.2100 or a log option. The sequence will now display graphics white at 100IRE.

When I click on an existing porject or try to create a new one, the "opening project" pop up stays frozen on the screen. The little beach ball of doom pops up but then disappears and the app stays frozen. Nothing opens or changes. I've tried updating Beta, I've restarted my MacBook, I've cleared my media caches and reset my Premiere, I've updated my MacOS and uninstalled/reinstalled the Premiere app. I've tried working on my hard drive and on the MacBook itself, but the results are the same (as above). Any ideas or suggestions?

For the past few Beta builds, the Paste function has been replaced by Paste Insert. Why is this?

Hello, I am unsure if visual analysis performs scene detection for my footage? I currently import my footage into Premiere Pro and then perform scene detection to create clips which I then import to Premiere Pro (Beta) for analysis to help organise my clips. Nevertheless, I recently discovered that importing the footage directly into Premiere Pro (Beta) for visual analysis automatically creates the clips required for visual search. (Process A)Video > Premiere Pro > Scene Detection > Clips > Export > Clips Folder > Import to Beta > Visual Analysis (Process B)Video  > Import to Beta > Visual Analysis So, I suppose my question is do I have to perform scene detection for my footage before visual analysis (A) or does visual analysis automatically perform scene detection on my footage (B) ?  thank you 🙂

I updated the Premiere Pro beta today [25.3.0 BETA Build 34], and whenever I type, some random action gets triggered, making it unable to type. It didn't happen in the previous beta version.
