My company would like to buy RoboHelp 2020 for me and I was wondering if it is possible to have it installed and use it while TCS 2017 is already installed on the computer. Would I still be able to use the other parts of TCS 2017? (I work a lot with FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat.)

I am currently using RH 2019.0.14.I am trying to publish Responsive HTML5 output to our FTP server. I successfully generated output but when I try to publish it, the following message remains there:After some time, the Application Error message appears:and then the following message is displayed:The Publish Log some times displays this error:and some times it displays this error:I will appreciate if any body guide me to the resolution of this problem.   

Hi,We have a product online help developed using Frameless skin. On the Welcome page, we have the search bar and the buckets/categories or whatever you call and the user clicks on it to enter the help system.Is it possible to someway customize the layout in a way where we can add other elements to this welcome page?For example, above the buckets we want to add some Announcements. Or in the area under the buckets we want to add something. Is that possible?

Peter's web page states that if you need to supply a URL to open the help with a filter applied, use this syntax:url?f=taggroup:tagnameBut how do I do this if I want to point to a bookmark? The URL for a bookmark adds #bookmark to the URL, but when I tried using url#bookmark?f=taggroup:tagnameThe default filter was applied instead. Is there a special syntax that must be used for when a bookmark is used?I am using Robohelp 2020.7.46, frameless skin.   

Can anyone explain to me the difference in how the Start Page opens a RoboHelp 2020 project and the first topic it opens to is the Default Topic?  Is that correct and can these two files be the same?  What is the real purpose for the Start Page? Thank you.

Hello RH Friends - I have inserted "Insert HTML Elements > iframe > Local Files > a URL" that auto plays my Articulate Storyline tutorial/URL. How do I on this topic, in code view, write a code to PAUSE the URL, so that it doesn't play automatically? Thank you so much.

Windows 10 (20H2)Robohelp Version: 2020.6.76 Hello,I'll cut to the question at hand:Can you change the user/domain being used when you use the Azure Devops VC. in Robohelp. The Problem here is quite simple: The company uses two different networks and domains.DevOps runs on Network-A and Robohelp on Network-B. Since Robohelp seems to only place the user, currently executing the programm, in the credentials (Domain-B/User) the login on the DevOps obviously does not work. The DevOps is also being run On-Premise, meaning I am (appearantly) not be able to invite the User from Domain-B to the Devops as a workaround.Visual Studio was no problem since it asked me for credentials. Oh before I forget about it Domain-A's Azure DevOps can only be reached from Domain-A and Domain -B.I tried for a while to alter the Credentials in the Manager or to figure out if creds.exe could help me with that, but I was not able to figure out anything usefull. PS: Username is generic - tr

At the moment we sometime face the problem, that Robohelp is suggesting another Filename as the title is showing. We can`t reproduce this problem but with some file names we have a problem like you can see in the screenshot. The reason is surely not the "ä" letter, because we already use other titles with "ä", "ö", "ü" which are showing the same file name as title name. But as we are not able to reproduce this problem i think this is not easy to check. But what is really annoying is the fact that when we change the title name after saving it, the file won`t be overwritten. Robohelp is creating a new file in windows with the new file name. Afterwards we are not able to delete the first file in the author`s content. So we also have problems in our version control afterwards as the file is missing... Does someone have a solution for this?

RH2020 query: I have a ToC where every topic is a child of some section or other. When I generate the HTML5, the project always opens with the topics in the first section displayed (that is, we see that particular branch of the tree exposed). Is there some way to get RH to open in a browser without any section open?[Background: Logically speaking, Section 1 – being an introduction – should be at the start of the help. But it is a group of topics that will probably only be read once and only by newbies. But by being dsplayed with all topics exposed, it takes up critical screen real estate. This is sure to frustrate non-newbie users.] Thanks Geoffrey

Stakeholders would like to have certain links open in non-modal (modeless) popup windows so a user can follow information it contains while continuing to engage with the topic. The closest strategy I can see is to use the "New Window" option to open a new browser tab then require the user to drag it off the browser as a new window.  Is opening a modeless popup another thing that RoboHelp does not allow? 

I am using RoboHelp Version 2020.7.46.When I insert a Mini TOC it has numbers. I would like to either remove them or replace them with bullets.  

Hi Adobe Users,Looking for help w.r.t Merged project.I'm working on a Master Project that merges about 10+ child projects.Each child project has a "whats new" topic and a master whats new page in Master project. Looking for a solution to inter link child whats new topics in the Master project. How do i do it.!!

Hello.  I'm having an issue with RoboHelp 2020 and Classic Project Upgrade.  I've got multiple files that have worked OK with no issue, but this one file keeps giving me an error message.  I've deleted my file and recopied it from the server, as well as just recopying the problem child within that file, and still no luck.  I've had three coworkers, as well as my user support tech try to help me on this, and no luck.  The tech support guy told me to post my question here.  My coworkers all have older versions of RoboHelp.  This file is in a foreign language, so it's not like I can just delete that page and recreate it.  All other files have been exactly the same but in different languages, and still no issue.  Does anyone have any suggestions, because we're all stumped at this point.  Should I just try to get an older version of RoboHelp at this point?  Thanks in advance. 

HiI'm trying to intall Robohelp 2019 on a system with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit operating system core i5 processor. I have installed Internet Explrorer11 64 bit. I still get the below error message. "Your browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system.   Learn more" Need help.

Forgive me, how do I remove the search engine on the top right in the header bar? I don't want to appear at all. I'm using RH2019 and azure_blue skin. Thank you so much.

Hi, I upgraded a RoboHelp Classic 2019 project to RoboHelp 2020. In RoboHelp 2020, I use 12 pt; but in Classic I used 10 pt. Sometimes, tables in my Frameless output are truncated. (1) If I change the font in RoboHelp 2020 to 10 pt, will that fix the issue? (2) If so, is there an easy way to change the font for just this one book (not all of them)? If so, how? (3) Or, must I go through each topic manually and change the font? Thanks for your help!

I'm currently on Robohelp 2020 (2020.0.156) and need to update to the lastest version. What is the most recent version? I followed this thread (https://community.adobe.com/t5/robohelp-discussions/how-to-upgrade-robohelp/td-p/11765263) to the Downloads page, but the newest update I see on that page is Summer 2020 Release.

Just today for some reason I have this problem where the sign-in dialog (which appears every day) appears but when I click sign in I get this:It doesn't work trying to access the app directly or when accessing via opening a file. My internet is connected, everything else is working (including sign in to Acrobat), my clock is set correctly, everyone else's is working correctly in the office.Has anyone ever seen this before or know why it's suddenly doing this today and have any way around it?I can log into my Adobe account on website and see my current subscriptions. I can't find any way to contact them directly about this urgently.

Hi,Noticed this strange behavior. I have a PDF output from RH source. The output, cover page, header, footer, conten, toc comes out perfect.Just that in the PDF output there is a border (box) to the content. Any idea why this would be happening?I tried setting the border in the master page as transperant, white, 0px but nothing works. Infact, while taking pdf output if I dont select any master page the boxed border still shows up in the pdf output.Any idea how to fix this?

I’m on RH 2020.5.71 and started using the Review tool with 4 people doing the reviewing. All the reviewers received the linked emails, and everything was going fine until I started getting the markup and comments back.Where the reviewers highlighted or made comments is not where I see it. It has jumped to a completely different line/area. A reviewer showed me on his screen how he highlighted a line and when he started to scroll down the highlighter line kept moving around. When he scrolled back up it highlighted the correct line. When I open the document in RoboHelp all highlighting, and comment markup is moved to the wrong line/area. So, I have no idea what needs to be updated!I'm including two images one is from the reviewer called RH_Reviewer and the other is the image I see as the author called RH_Author. As you can see in the RH_Author all the mark up is in the wrong places.Any ideas what is happening???

Hello, I'm trying to use Dynamic filters for RH 2019 Frameless output, but it doesn't apply on the output. Is there a way to show the filter or steps for how to do it? Thanks.

This problem just came up out of nowhere; Printed Documentation was working just fine last week (I'm using RoboHelp 2017), but today I tried to run PD for a project, and it just kept running ... and running ... and running ... for about 20 minutes, when it usually only takes about 3 or 4 min. I always generate a Word doc and a PDF with this process and have had no problems until now.I'd appreciate any help.Thank you,Lon

How will robohelp write its content to a new multi-tenant asp.net core web app that uses same multi-tenant authentication as main web app?
