Hi Adobe Team,I am a professional graphic designer and print specialist. I use Adobe Acrobat Pro daily for pre-press and production. I have a significant feature request that would benefit the global printing and publishing community.Currently, Adobe Acrobat lacks a native, professional-grade Page Imposition engine. For complex layouts like 8-up, 16-up, customized book signatures, or "Step and Repeat" for labels, we are forced to rely on very expensive third-party plugins (like Quite Imposing or Preps).It would be a game-changer if Adobe could integrate a dedicated Imposition Tool within the 'Print Production' toolset. We need the ability to: Set custom Gutter Margins and Gripper areas. Control Page Folding sequences and signatures. Automate Trim Marks and Bleed adjustments directly within the layout. The jump from InDesign to a print-ready PDF often requires manual imposition, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Having this built into Acrobat would streamline the entire w

I want to know whether using Adobe Acrobat to reduce the file size of a PDF is completely safe. Specifically, I am concerned if the process of compressing or optimizing a PDF could somehow introduce viruses, malware, or corrupt the file. Many online tools claim to reduce PDF size, but I prefer to use the official Adobe software and want to ensure that it does not pose any security risks. Clarifying this will help me confidently use Adobe Acrobat for compressing PDFs without worrying about harming my computer or sharing unsafe files. 

I dont know how to report issues but the version of Adobe Acrobat 25.1 when using the new view cannot ocr specific pages in a document and will ocr the entore document even if you select only 1 page. In the old view of acrobat in the same version works as expected and will only OCR the pages speciified. 

Hi,I have been using the Text-to-Speech (Read Aloud) feature in Acrobat Reader for a long time without any problems. However, since yesterday, the online voices stopped working.Offline (on-device) voices still work fine, but whenever I select an online voice, I get the error message:“A problem occurred. Please try again later.”Things I already tried:— Updated the app to the latest version— Restarted my device— Tried different PDF files— Checked my internet connection— Signed out and back into my Adobe accountNone of these solved the problem. Is there currently an issue with the online voice servers, or is there anything else I can do to fix this?Thank you in advance for your help!

Every fall and winter I have to work with PDF files that are hundreds of pages. Last fall I came across a java script that I was able to run and it worked beautifully. In the last year, I have either lost more brain cells or acrobat dc doesn't work the same way as acrobat X. I need to find a way to extract the pages based off of a word search and save those pages to another file. I would appreciate any suggestions. Also, I have added the java script that was used last year. I’d like to use Acrobat but get the following pop-up and have to wait for the update to finish installing. This usually takes several minutes which means I can’t access any PDFs at that time.As I wrote above, this seems totally outdated!  

I am soo over this particular popup shown in the screenshot. Every time I go to edit some text in acrobat it hovers exactly over what I am trying to edit. Most annoying feature Adobe has ever come up with. I’ve gone through the preferences and tried a few things, but cannot get it to go away. Please PLEASE tell me there is a way to turn the pesky thing off!

Starting today when I open a PDF file it opens minimized. When I click on icon on the bottom of the screen it will not maximize. I also tried to right click on the icon and select maximize but the file will not open. What is strange is that I can hold the mouse over the icon and I can see the file but it's very very small. How can I fix this problem. 

I am simply trying to export a table from a pdf to excel, and it does not allow it.

I run the   32 bit installer (Reader_en_install)  and   I get a message that adobe is alread installed  --- but it is not   in ends in  these 2   screens what does this mean there is no adobe  folder in “program files”   

Since Monday we are unable to send pdf document via Gmail.Once we enter our email address and press submitm, we get a message “We have opened a new broswer toab for you to log in, and nothing happens. We cleared the cache, restarted the browser, made chrome default, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobet. These are versions of Google Chrome & Adobe Acrobet 

in Windows 10, it is easy to "print to pdf", but is there a way to set the default so that the new pdf document always opens automatically?  In Word, using the "save as" function, and selecting pdf, there is a box that can be checked to achieve this - but can the same default be achieved by "print to pdf" rather than "save as"?  This would make it suitable to applications other than Word, like printing to pdf from iTunes.

I tried WinSCP and Cyberduck but I am unable to get to here:ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/11.x/Where I understand the final update is.  I cannot install updaete because I get a 1328 error.  

HII have a seemingly silly question , but I'm getting sick of it 😉how to draw a rectangle without filling ?-when I change the coverage % in the tab “fill” , it changes at the same time in the tab "edge" - I have no option to set, for example, in one 0% and the other 100%-I do not have the option to deselect one or the other either-I don't see the option of unchecking the color in any of the tabs either-attached are pictures of my tool panel

In microsoft edge, i can find a spot on the page without any text and highlight my document.  In acrobat, it recognizes that as a pencil. The problem with the pencil tool is that the annotation is above the document, obscuring the text or object underneath. The highlight tool is able to perform this better by placing itself under the objects of the document. How do i freehand over with the highlighter? the only option is to highlight text, and i cant override with a certain key.

After creating a two-page card and save it as PDF or JPG, some digital assets disappear from the final project. I’ve attached the card and a digital asset is not saving onto the final product.

I am using the Acrobat Android app, and the podcast feature has recently disappeared. I still have the AI summarize feature. Any guidance on how to get it back or access it? I am not seeing it anywhere in the app.

I’m working on a few documents in several languages (Chinese, Urdu, Hindi, etc.). These are forms that people have to fill, so we’re creating them in InDesign, and then exporting them as  fillable PDFs.So far, most of them are working propperly, but Punjabi and Gujarati are giving us issues. It’s been 3 days and we are out of ideas.The issue: The forms need to be filled in the document’s language, so the Gujarati form will have the inputs filled in Gujarati, for example. Problem is, the text is not rendering correctly in the fields. Similar to when you don’t activate “World Ready Composer” in InDesign. The fonts are broken in the input fields.This is what we’re getting:I copy/pasted (from Word, not from the PDF) the same line of text in each input, and as you can see, it doesn’t render correctly. The characters don’t look the same.Things we have tried:Exporting as Print, creating the form in Acrobat Exporting as Interactive with the form created in InDesign 3 different fonts: Noto Sans

I am using Adobe Acrobat PDF extension in chrome. Today when I opened a PDF, the view was too small. It was fine before. There is no option menu to change a setting so the PDFs open bigger. I have to zoom in every time I open a PDF and there is no way to change the default size. This is on my work computer - I cannot download anything or get into any computer settings.  The extension worked fine until today. I tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling but the PDFs are openining too small and I cannot read them unless I zoom in.

This PDF has missing text layers that should be showing up. The layers appear when viewed in the Chrome Acrobat app, but they’re missing when viewed in the Desktop app.When going to Edit mode for this PDF, the text are highlighted (so it knows it’s there, but just not displayed). Editing any of them by adding text, changing font color, etc. would cause the layers to appear. Undoing these changes and saving the PDF again fixes the issue but is not an ideal workaround.I’ve tried checking if fonts are embedded via Preferences, turned off Security Enhanced, toggled with Overprint Preview, ensured Recolor options were turned off, none of which worked.

is someone else is having an issue with adobe reader DC and Acrobate Pro when one pdf file is open and you want to open the second one its not open until closing the first one or it take about a minute or so to open, Its happening with multiple users and some are using just adobe reader DC and some adobe pro , I tried to check for any new update but it saying its updated, any suggestions?

I've created a Fillable form using prepare form in Acrobat Pro DC and used added text fields and it works well in the preview except that all of the text boxes are blue. I would like my users who are going to fill out the form to not see the blue text boxes; the text boxes should just look transparent (like nothing is there) until they put their cursor in the answer area. Does anyone know how to edit/fix this? I'm not a proficient user of Adobe so I may be making newbie mistake!  Thanks.

Hello, Prior to early July, I was using adobe with my free account on desktop. In earlg July, I signed up for a paid plan with a new business account. Everything seemed pretty straightforward in terms of set up, but I have been having issues with my Acrobat ever since. I think the issue originated when I logged in with my business account on desktop. From what I've read, it seems like i probably had the version of Acrobat that fully converts to Pro once a paid plan is used to sign in. The issue here though is that I still need to access my free account, and I no longer can. Whenever it is signed in, i am asked to sign up for a free trial. Even without any account signed in at all, the applicaiton closes out and can not be used in the basic way to open, read, and if needed, fill PDFs. This has become super frustrating because even after following tons of different guidance in previous posts here with uninstalling, downloading different versions, etc., Acrobat just do

When I open the print dialog screen for the first time, the default number of copies is set to 9.  If i close the print screen, then open it again, the default number of copies changes to 1.  This happens with every single document that I open.  I deleted Adobe and reinstalled.  I reinstalled the printer driver.  I when into the advanced tab.  I have tried everything on this discussion board.  I am getting sick of printing a whole ream of paper because I forgot to check that the default number of copies is 9.  Send a patch.
