When viewing PDF documents containing colored objects/images on my wide gamut monitor using Acrobat Pro, objects and images have (very) oversaturated colors. It looks like Acrobat Pro is ignoring my display profile and turns off display color management (see below)? I was planning to use Acrobat Pro as tool in a book design project with a lot of photographs. I have attached an example showing a PDF with a colored square using Photoshop and Acrobat Pro (screen dump, will not show true colors, but will illustrate the problem). See the attached JPEG below (Acrobat PRO to the left (oversaturated, not OK), Photoshop to the right (OK)). All other apps that I use show the colors correctly for various PDFs. Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a project that involves analyzing financial statistics and data. I'm wondering if Adobe Acrobat has any features or tools that can help with this task? Specifically, I'm interested in ways to easily import financial data into Acrobat, perform calculations, and visualize the data. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

When I select "Edit PDF" and then select "Add Text" and then try to click in a blank space on the page, the entire page or an editable section is selected instead.  It's like the "Edit" is turned on instead of the "Add Text" button.  I used to be able to click anywhere on the page and add my text.  I make notes on all my PDF files that I save (like date and phone call made, date and email text, if a medical claim, how much I paid along with date and how I paid the bill).I've found the only way to add new text is to try to find a blank area, type new next and then drag and drop that text box to the location I want it.  Or if I had previously added text, I can copy and past that text box and move it to where I need a new text box and overwrite the text.Why is the sytem thinking I still want to Edit and not just add new text?I added a screenshot where you can see that "Add Text is highlighted.  I wanted to add a new text below my note of how I paid on 10.17.23, bu

I'll second this request. I am looking for .admx groupo policy templates that are newer than 2015, which were provided by the support chat rep. Specifically I am being asked to enable Microsoft Purview Information Protection on all Acrobat computers.

Adobe recently announced that Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, and Adobe Acrobat are now available to run on ARM, however I can't seem to find the download for Acrobat. Is the ARM version just included in the 64-bit installer? What mode is it running in? ARM64EC or fully native? I have a user who, when they open the web browser to access their online PDFs, gets a message that reads “Contact your admin. Please contact your admin to access this feature.”  We have not seen this message before and don’t know what it means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

See Video. This is occurring on Windows 11. This problem only started occurring a few days ago. It might be related to the most recent Windows update but it’s only occurring on Adobe Acrobat. Thanks for the help.

Prism-emulator is included in Windows11 24H2 and newer. Having 2 Microsoft Surface Pro (11. Edition) with Snapdragon X-processor with Windows ARM 24H2. Download and install Creative Cloud-App. But running CC-App --> CC-App crashes. In "Creative Cloud.exe" property-window | Compatibility-tab | "Windows on ARM" | "Change emulation settings"-button is greyed out and cannot be activated.  How can I install and run Acrobat? Is there a tutorial available?

I cancelled my install of Acrobat on the Creative Cloud Desktop. It has been stuck on 'Cancelling' for days. How do I fix this?

I understand that Adobe is not in favor of working on file servers, but not everyone is working in a cloud-based workflow. We are running Acrobat Pro 2026 and macOS Tahoe. Since upgrading we can no longer save Acrobat files to our server and extract pages won’t work either. We have one computer running the same versions of Acrobat and the OS where protected mode is turned off and it works fine. Our other computers have protected mode on and we are unable to turn it off. We can select to turn it off and quit Acrobat, but when we restart Acrobat it comes up with a message that Acrobat quit unexpectedly  and protected mode is turned back on. While we can save the files to the desktop and copy them to the server, this is an inefficient way for our team to work. Any thoughts on how to get Acrobat out of protected mode? Thanks!

I have seen a question asked several times in various forums and it never gets an answer:  how do you adust the contrast and brightness of a scanned PDF if it has several pages?  You can't do it in Acrobat, and there are no third-party tools that I've found that work.  If you have Photoshop, there is a solution to the problem, which does not require adjusting every page in a document.  I use a high-speed duplex hopper-fed scanner to copy books or articles I need for my school work (no, I don't violate copyright by giving them away).  There is no way to adjust contrast at the scanner level, so I end up with a 700-page document that is too light or too dark.1.  Use Acrobat to extract all the pages to separate files.2.  Use Adobe Bridge Tools>Rename to serially rename all the pages, so that Photoshop sees them in the right order and they can be reassembled later.  There are other free or cheap tools for batch renaming that work equally well.3.&nb

Hi everyone,We regularly share project documents with clients, like technical specs and proposals, and some of them contain sensitive information. Right now we protect them with a password in Acrobat, but we're wondering if that's the best option.A few questions:Is certificate-based encryption more secure than password protection for sharing with external clients? Is there a way to stop printing and copying text while still letting clients view and comment? Does AES-256 encryption in Acrobat work well for clients using other PDF readers?Would love to hear what works for others. Thanks!

I see that people have had issues with Acrobat in macOS 27 (“Golden Gate”).  I’ve been lucky not to have had any specific problems so far.However, Apple is working to discontinue Rosetta (the application that provides a virtual shim for Intel apps, allowing them run on Apple Silicon) in the next year.  Because I use many diverse apps for my work, I don’t have - or want to have - Rosetta installed in macOS 27 so as not to get caught off guard.  All of the apps that I use are now compatible - or I’ve heeded warnings in macOS 26 and migrated to new apps that will run in Apple Silicon (ARM).  Except one. The Technical Requirements page for Acrobat claims that the requirement for Acrobat includes the Apple M1-M4 processors; this implies that there is an “ARM64-native” version for macOS.  There’s no mention of a requirement for Rosetta.  If there is a native version of Distiller, how can I acquire it?  (It’s an isolated part of some of my workflows, so I’d be open to testing a beta version i

I used Safari to save the info on a website as a PDF, but Safari saved all the info as a SINGLE page. I would have guessed it would save as 5-6 pages.  How do we split one page into many pages? I've searched the documentation but haven't found a way to do it.  Thank you. 

I designed a pdf form that my employer uses to collect the signature of an employee who is to receive a company credit card signifying they agree to comply with the credit card policy.It requires e-signature by themselves, their line manager and the Head of Finance.The form in its unsent/ template state has the 3 e-signature fields that are assigned to each signer.I usually just open the form, add the recipients via the ‘Request e-signatures’ option and send it on.We have used it for 3 years, but recently, an employee who signed the form commented that, although we have date specified on the form, there is nowhere to input it without printing and hand dating it, which defeats the object of the exercise.I have added a date field underneath each of the 3 e-signature fields and formatted them accordingly. When I open the Request e-signatures option, all 3 date fields are assigned to the first signeeHow can I now assign each of the new date fields to each recipient?Online documentation see

Acrobat continues to open multiple times in Task Manager preventing other files from opening. This has been going on for the last 3-4 months. VERY annoying.

I sometimes work with official PDF documents such as NBI Clearance files, and occasionally I notice problems after saving or making small changes in Adobe Acrobat. In some cases, formatting looks different, certain sections appear restricted, or the file does not display properly after sharing.I was wondering if others have experienced similar issues while handling NBI Clearance or other official PDFs. Have you found any settings or workflow that helps avoid problems with document formatting, QR codes, or file validation?I would appreciate hearing what has worked best for others when managing official PDF files.

All of my PDF documents won’t open.I use Mac. When I go to the Adobe account online, my account is active. Checked System Settings and Adobe is not running in the background. This happened about a month ago also but when I uninstalled Creative Cloud and Acrobat, then reinstalled them, the problem was solved, but with “Background Items Added” notification coming up every time I open my laptop.Then a month later, 2 days ago, PDF stopped opening again. I did the Command+Shift+G, then Library/Launch, delete some of the plst files. Uninstalled Creative Cloud and Acrobat. Ran Adobe Cleaner Tool, Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Reinstalled Acrobat, which automatically reinstalled Creative Cloud too. Nothing worked.When I shut down my laptop and restart, then try to open a PDF file, it shows “Verifying Adobe Acrobat” window with a bar run from left to right very quickly, then it goes away. But the PDF won’t open.I need to work on PDFs every day basis and it is very inconvenient.  

I need to remove a lot of sensitive informations before I can hand off a pdf to an AI tool or agent. Things like names, emails, adress or contact informations, prices, dates, urls, health data and so on. I would love to have a local AI-tool in Acrobat Desktop/Mobile to investigate one or more PDF files, telling me what kind of sensitive information was found and then giving me options to redact these data. Basically like the remove tool in Photoshop which shows  different categories of things it detected in an image and then I can select what I want to keep or remove. Of course it must be a local tool on my computer/device because I don’t want any online service to see the sensitive information, before I submit the document.  

Is it possible to have a stamp that you can change colors after stamping? So you create the custom stamp as black and then after you stamp it in the document you can change the color from black to blue? I seem to think it isn't, but thought I would look for a more expert to answer. 

you must be kidding.  this is not a step forward with AI.  will be looking elsewhere for pdf software.

One of my colleagues is having issue with a PDF when using Acrobat.   She has text written in a text box. If she clicks into a different text box, the information she typed into the original text box disappears. If she goes back and clicks in the original text box, the information reappears.   When she goes to print the pdf, the information does not come through on the printed version as well.  What do I do?  I have contacted our IT department, but they do not know what the issue is as well. 

For the last one week now, I have not been able to use my adobe. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Sad part is no one in adobe seems to care
