Hi All,I currently have a drop down menu that uses the below formula (under Run Custom Validation Script) to pull-up different layers with pictures. When the name matching the layer is selected in the drop down menu, the picture/layer appears. When I select a different name, the previous picture goes away and the new picture appears, and if there's no matching layer name in the drop down list, no picture/layer appears at all. Perfect. However, when I tried to use the same formula in a second drop down list, so that I could see BOTH the picture/layer of the first drop down and also the picture/layer of the second drop down at the same time, only the picture/layer of the second drop down appears. I'm looking for the same functionality I had before; if I choose an option in the drop down that has a matching layer name, the picture should appear, and stay until another picture is chosen or there's no matching layer name in the drop down list. I just want that for 2 separate drop

I am a novice to javascript and I am using Adobe Pro. I am trying to get a name and pin combination and if true have a different field auito populate a prior approval number of 8 digits. I have tried numerous suggetions from the community but I have not had success. I basically have no code to create this. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I am getting the following error, "Bytes are not ready," when adding files to an Acrobat file. I rebooted and managed to fix the error for a couple of files, but then the error showed up again. I can open the file that I want to add and even edit it, but I can't add it to another PDF. Any help will be much appreciated as I am against a deadline. By the way, I am using Acrobat for Mac and version 2025.001.20458 Thanks.  

Working from my surface pro on Adobe Acrobat pro, when trying to print emails and choosing Adobe pdf on the print window for printer It has a postscript error that creates a Microsoft "note" error message? If I choose Microsoft PDF I get a pdf copy of the email no problem? Any thoughts?

I am using Adobe Forms in a laboratory setting for some worksheets. These forms are filled out and uploaded into a laboratory information management system. I have several forms I have created in the same manner. One form when completed and uploaded will scramble some of the text. For some users, it is the fillable fields. For some users, it is the plain text they cannot edit. Is there any troubleshooting I can do on that form to determine why it will not upload properly compared to the others? Clearly something is wrong with the way the text is saving for this form. I used the same font settings for this one as I did the ones that work. Here is an example of how one area on the worksheet looks. Some words are not altered as well.

Hi all,  So I have a weird situation.I am trying to print from adobe, but when I try to print I get the error:Could not create PDF from:/var/folders/wh/gz9d71nj37ncrv1_sfgpv5140000gp/T/PSaJl80A.tmpUsing Adobe PDF Settings: High Quality Print see the log file for details.First off I am not sure where the log file is.When I print the same file on my partners macbook, to the same printer there is no issue.So i guessing there is somehthing funky going on with my setup.I tried uninstalling CC, and re-installing, but to no avail.So any help in diagnosing this would be gratefully appreciated.

I have a DC license and installation is managed bia Adobe Creative Cloud (6.1.587) on Windows 10 Enterprise 22H2 19045.4046. I am having some issues with Table borders in the finished PDF.OS:  Win10Word--Office 365 ProPlusAcrobat 11.0.23Have a file with a table. The table has borders. Hi,Type 3 font is used in one of my client supplied PDF.Can anyone suggest if we retain the Type 3 fonts to proceed to go printer. Or is this risk? Please confirm.  Thanks,Santhosh

I have recently installed MS Office 2010 on my W7 system but find that the Acrobat addin for MS Word 2010 is not working -- it gives errors messages and recommends that I disable the addin.This all used to work fine with MS Word 2007.Is there anything that can be done about this problem. (aus Outlook, vom Server oder lokal)Wenn er die Dateien per Drag and Drop ins Adobe schiebt, gehen die Dateien sofort auf. Er hatte das Problem schonmal gemeldet.Damals haben wir die Windows Profile umgestellt (von einem reinem Azure AD Join zu einem Hybrid Join), dann funktioniert das mit der Geschwindigkeit eine Weile.Jetzt ist das Problem wieder vorhanden bei Ihm (Geschäftsführer) und einem seiner Mitarbeiter.(Betroffen ist einmal der Acrobat Reader und einmal Adobe Acrobat Pro – bei beiden dasselbe Problem) Problematisch ist, dass aus Outlook kein Drag and Drop funktioniert und dies auch keine Dauerlösung sein kann, die Dokumente ins Adobe zu verschieben. Der Kunde hat in seiner Mail vermutet, „Da werden Parameter falsch übergeben oder was auch immer … muss jedenfalls mal behoben werden“ Können Ihr uns helfen die Lösung für dieses Problem zu finden

I have combined about 30 documents into one PDF and now I need to edit the bookmarks to rename them from the auto-generated gibberish to meaningful file names. I don't see any options to do this. I did it last year with no difficulty. Why am I unable to do it this year? I have tried both online and on the desktop app.

It's possible I missed something, somewhere, but... I upgraded from the Personal Pro to Team Pro account specifically to gain access to the CSV powered Bulk Sending option... But when I click the tile for Bulk Send or follow the option through the Windows app ... It displays the same screen I had for my Individual account. There is no link, button, or hamburger menu option that I see anywhere to upload my CSV file to handle email and contract filling like the KB screenshots show. This is what I get: This is what the KB says should be available:   or this:  Neither or those shows Amy suggestions on what I'm overlooking or how to fix this?

I do not know if this is the correct forum, but whatever. I guess my last post was not posted in the right place and was moved  but I cannot find it. Anyways... not only am I unable to find the AI Assistant on my ipad app, despite the fact that the app store has it advertised as available as does Adobe homepage, AND the posts here... and I have adobe pro and premium (yeh - thanks for that... We have a user that launches the Welcome to Adobe Acrobat message every launch even after hitting continue. We've tried several things like uninstalling and reinstalling, and updating to the latest version (2024.001.20629). There are no updates left and we've had the behavior occurring the whole time. It doesnt sound like a major issue but since it occurs everytime its launched and blocks the files from opening and then has to be clicked on that means it's like an extra 30 second boot up time whenever a PDF is launched. Hoping to get some help since they've been dealing with it for a few weeks now. Thanks! 

I use 3 screens in Windows 11. I've set up the taskbar so that, "When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open." When I open a single pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit), and it's on one of the side displays (NOT the main display), Adobe displays TWO taskbar icons.  They both show the same file name (the only one I have open).  When I move it to the main display, Adobe only displays ONE taskbar icon. This seems like a glitch.  Any idea how to fix it, without changing the way I use Windows 11? I'm sure a lot of people will say "combine taskbar items" but I don't want to do that - I like my taskbar items separated.  And they shouldn't need to be combined - it's only one file open.  No other program I use does this, and even Adobe doesn't do it when I move the window to the main display. Here's a screenclip: To clarify: I'm looking for a fix to this glitch, NOT a suggestion that

On my desktop Adobe Pro app, I get this popup error on almost every Tool I click on: ""Acrobat has encountered a problem. Some features may not work as expected." With most tools, such as "Insert Text" or "Edit Pdf", I click OK and it proceeds to allow me to use the tool without issue. (When I say "without issue," I mean that the tool seems to work; my one caveat is that nothing appears in the Menu/Edit toolbar on the left hand side.)So most tools work regardless of the error popping up. However, the "Redact" tool does not. It allows me to select text and redact it, but it does not allow me to Apply the redactions. When I try, the whole screen goes dark gray with a ghost image of the adobe document in the background, and a plain white box in the center of my screen similar to an error window popping up but without any words or message in it. Long time user and forum follower. I've gotten help off here several times, but first time posting. We have a form in the Army to write up faults. I changed it to auto calculate money, manhours, etc. I've created it with 3 pages in case we have to write more stuff up. I have each totals calculating total from page 1 + total page 2 etc. Is there any way to validate the next page will only calculate if data is put in any of the fields on page 2? In other words no total will auto calculate on page 2 and page 3 unless a field is filled on page 2. Like if data is in "field1" or "field2" or "field3" etc then it'll begin calculating that page. Have attached screenshots of 2 of the pages. 

I've seen a couple similar posts and followed many troubleshooting suggestions already, but nothing has solved my issue - I'm trying to combine 4 PDF files within Adobe (also tried using Adobe Acrobat online), and the files will upload and can be previewed, but when combining, the process never finishes. I've re-started and checked the software version is up to date. I've also tested other PDF files, which have no issues combining. So, I reduced the file sizes and made sure there was no protection but the same issue still occurs regardless of how I grab the files or drop the files. There is no error message or failure - the process simply doesn't finish. I even tried adding one file at a time and they all have the same problem (and are from the same source). Oh, and I already checked to make sure the "save as PDF portfolio" option is not checked. Any other suggestions?
