I’ve been asked to make some of our old PDF forms into online fillable versions, however there’s a couple dozen and they each have dozens upon dozens of check boxes so I need to have a simple and fast way to convert them. Manually, one at a time, just won’t fly.If I use “prepare form” on the PDF as-is, they detect and convert (almost) no problem. Great. But I keep running into other issues with the forms that Adobe is not qualified/able to fix. The most obvious answer is to export as docx, fix it in a jiffy, and re-save as a PDF. HOWEVER, that new PDF does not recognise ANY check boxes. Even though visually nothing has changed. They’re the same size, same thickness, same proximity to text. I’ve tried this on a couple different forms to the same, consistent, result.I can’t figure out why it starts off able to detect them, then after converting never again? They’re the same boxes! What’s the secret sauce I’m missing?

Hello,I'm having an issue related to the use of Adobe. I contacted Adobe through their chat, but the assistant wasn’t very helpful.The problem is that when I scroll through different pages of my PDF, Adobe starts flickering all over the place.I’ve tried reinstalling and repairing the software.I’ve disabled page caching.I’ve also turned off hardware acceleration (GPU acceleration).I’m running out of ideas — nothing seems to work, and my fields keep flickering nonstop.If anyone has a solution to this issue, I’d really appreciate your help.I’m using Windows 11, and my Adobe software version is 25.001.20813.0.

I have the Abode PDF pack and I have a file that I want to insert or delete pages. I have a 35 page document and when I go to Organize on the tool menu, all of the pages are not visible.  I’ve zoomed out as much as possible but it only shows three rows of pages.  There is no scroll bar and I can’t find anyway to navigate to the pages that I can’t see.

I sent a lot of documents yesterday via Adobe Sign web version, then it just stopped working. “Sorry, something went wrong.”Same error message this morning. I tried the desktop version of Acrobat to send for signature and got this message: “you have reached the limit on the number agreements you can send at this time. Please try again in 32 minutes.”I’ve been using Adobe Sign for years. This is the first time I’ve ever reached a limit. How can we bypass this issue?

This is the message we get when trying to open a fillable PDF with a DATE drop-down. 

I have a multi-page pdf and want the page numbering on the thumbnails to correspond with the page numbering on the document. The document was created with InDesign and exported as a pdf. The document has a cover, which I want to “number” as none. Pages 2-4 should be numbered with lowercase Roman numerals, i, ii, iii; and subsequent pages (5-80) should be numbered with numbers, starting with 1. The instructions: All tools > Organize pages > Page labels is not responding or making any changes to the labels on the thumbnails. I have clicked “begin new section” at each of the above sections.WHAT is the problem?

While working on a PDF file, we suddenly started receiving this error and have been unable to continue. We now need to fully end the session and reconnect.Version: 26.001.21771  & 25.001.20474

So i just upgraded to a new imac.   All of my files successfully transferred from my old mac to my new one, with one exception - Acrobat Professional 2000. Now i was successfully using this (on Tahoe) on my older imac - but when i attempt to run it, it asks me to run the licensing, and it freezes. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it - and still get the same glitch. Any suggestions?

On multiple different computers I have had the same issue in Acrobat where it has been working fine, and then all of a sudden it won’t open any more. When I check in Task Manager, I can see multiple processes sat. It has happened so many times I have created a .bat file that runs “taskkill /f /im acrobat.exe", which shuts all instances at once. I have tried on different machines and, after a while, get the same result. I have tried different PDFs. I have also reinstalled Acrobat on one machine, but after a few days the issue occurs again.

Fellows, All of a sudden, after going through the Shared Review wizard (SharePoint being the server to store the shared file on), the PDF file gets the _review extension but the yellow toolbar with the Publish Comments button doesn’t show up in the PDF. Updated Acrobat to the latest version - didn’t help. Did anyone else encounter this issue recently? Thanks!

If i highlight lines and text boxes i cannot delete.  I can individually delete text boxes but cannot do the lines.  I have checked layers, for updates and repaired.

I can't get VoiceOver's navigate-by-item shortcuts to work properly when reading PDFs in Acrobat. Basic sequential navigation works fine. I can arrow up/down through elements one at a time. But shortcuts for jumping to a specific element type, like next heading (VO+Cmd+H) or next graphic (VO+Cmd+G), don't take me where they should, and instead kick me back up one level to the document pane, and I have to start over from the beginning.Setup: Acrobat Pro 2026.001.21789 on macOS Tahoe 26.6.This happens with every tagged PDF I've opened in Acrobat (such as this one). When I navigate sequentially, headings, graphics, tables, lists, etc. are all announced with their correct role, so Acrobat seems to be recognizing the tag structure fine, just can't navigate by it.Has anyone else run into this? 

Adobe's PDFMaker Macro for Microsoft 365 [Office] applications displays error messages in my Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Classic applications. I hate it. Only way I can remove it is to (1) run each app as an Administrator,(2) go to Options, (3) Manage COM Add-ins, and (4) select PDF Maker Macro and remove it. But every time my computer runs updates for Microsoft Windows 11 or Microsoft 365 [Office], the PDF Maker Macro reinstalls itself, and I get error messages when I open those apps. I also don't like the space its commands take on Microsoft 365 apps' Ribbon.  Have learned a better way to make Adobe PDFs out of Office applications (use the F12 command and check the appropriate options), so I have no use for the PDF Maker Macro. How can I get it to stop reinstalling itself?

I just upgraded from Adobe acrobat Pro to DC.  In the older version, I was able to select multiple text boxes at once, copy them, and past them without any problem.  I was also able to select multiple objects that I made (lines, etc), AND text boxes at the same time to copy and paste.  Under the older version, I selected multiple text boxes / objects by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting the multiple objects.  Now, I seem to only be able to select 1 text box at a time to copy and paste, and even so, I don't seem to be able to select any text boxes with objects at the same time to copy and paste.  If I hold the Ctrl key when I try to select multiple text boxes, it only reverts to the most recent text box, and that's it.  I am still learning DC and like many of the features that seemed to have improved upon the older versions, but not being able to use the multiple select feature in the newer version is confounding me.Thanks for any help / answers.

Hello,   For the last two years I have had consistent problems with Acrobat Pro DC being extremely slow/stuttery while scrolling, highlighting, commenting on a document. This happens no matter what the size of the PDF is from less than 1 MB to 10+ MB. It appears to be very poorly optimized compared to other professional software titles which all run smoothly on macOS: Word, Excel, Pages, Numbers, etc. I have tried deleting the prefernce files outlined in other topics, which did nothing to alleviate the issue at all.   My computer is a relatively powerful: 2016 15-inch MacBook Pro connected to an eGPU with Radeon RX 580 and an LG 4K monitor (more than enough power to edit PDFs). I am running the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and macOS Mojave and have never seen these issues alleviated by two years of updates.   Given the cost of this software, I would really appreciate some help from Adobe's support team, as well as an indication that they are planning on doing s

Hello everyone,I created a fillable PDF form in Adobe Acrobat Pro that is used in our workshop. The staff opens the document in Adobe Reader, fill in some fields, and save it so they can continue working on it the next day.The problem:Sometimes when the file is saved in Adobe Reader, the document changes:none of the form fields are fillable anymorethe values that were already entered become non-editable (as if the document has been flattened)It seems like Adobe Reader is flattening the PDF during the save process, but I cannot find the cause.Can someone help me?

When opening a scanned document in adobe pro and select edit, the text isn't recognized automatically, and when I enable Scan&OCR to recognize the text, the document quality drops.this happens with multiple documents which are scanned forms. Adobe version: 2026.001.21789How to activate auto OCR without quality drops.
