Hi , Not sure why we can only split 20 pdf file at a time.

I've been editing a unprotected tax document, and just inputting text on multiple pages. The file saved once but then every time I go to save or save as optimized PDF I just get that the file needs to save first, and then "The document could not be saved. A file I/O error has occurred." Not sure if there is anything to turn on or off to get around this. I saw old examples from over a decade ago but can't find anything else on this situation. Thanks!

I've looked around Adobe and can't find an option for Canadian English.  It seems to only allow UK and US, neither of which are Canadian English.  I also don't see a way to download languages.   Anyone know how i can get my language for Acrobat? 

I work for a law firm and, since last week, a few staff members are having this issue. They download medical records from a certain medical records company. It opens in a Google Chrome tab and it is fine. They click the Download button and download it...when it opens in Adobe Acrobat Standard desktop app, a lot of the text is little black outlined white boxes. I know it is a font issue somewhere...I just don't know where. I highlighted some of the white boxes and right-click, copied and then pasted into Word using the same formatting. It is only an arial font...some bold, which our Windows 10 computers certainly have. So, why is Adobe Acrobat desktop not able to recognize it? Thanks in advance. Dave G.

Bonjour, nous n'avions jamais eu ce genre de probleme avant. Ce catalogue est le même depuis 2022. Nous accomplissons plusieurs impressions et celui ci est le seul avec ce probleme. Si j'imprime en page 8.5 x 11 tout est ok, mais si je l'imprime en catalogue broché 11 x 17 il sort tout plein de problèmes, photos et texte. J'ai refait le document en pensant que cela l'aurait réglé et j'ai réinstallé les pilotes Adobe PDF et imprimante. Rien n'a changé. Si j'imprime via le web aucun problème, mais via Adobe ça ne marche pas.  

When open autocad converted drawings wuth my Acrobat. acrobat will freeze and show not responding, it works fairly fine for all others PDF files. 

Hi, Not sure what happened, but when I go to add text to a PDF, the option to change the color, font, font size, etc. has disappeared (see attached screenshot).   There used to be options to change the color, font, and font size right below the highlighted "text" button, but it's gone now. What happened?

We have Creative Cloud that checks for updates for the suite of apps, but Adobe Acrobat wants to run a process in the background "to check for updates". I have disallowed this process to run in the background. I have no clue why a PDF app needs to be taking cycles and RAM from my computer when I'm not using it. This app is now bugging me (a theme with Adobe apps), telling me it can't check for updates because I don't have this background process running. Seriously, is this a joke?

I've created some PDFs of user guides for our company's product and included a destination tag to a particular section. The destination tag link works fine for most users and opens the PDF in their browser at the appropriate section. However, if a user has the Acrobat extension installed on Chrome, the PDF opens in Acrobat extension on the first page ignoring the destination tag. Is there a solution to make sure the destination tag works for users who have the Acrobat plug-in installed on Chrome?

What I need to know is how to remove a stamp from a pdf after the pdf is saved, closed and reopened. Please understand that I am not asking how to delete a stamp from a list of available stamps. I know that I can "undo create stamp" from the edit menu immediately after placing a stamp on a pdf, but that option is not available after the document is saved, closed and reopened. It seems odd that removing a watermark is so simple while finding the means to remove a stamp is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I have a form which is to be completed by a worker then sent to supervisor to be signed.  Signatures are required from 3 separate roles (worker, supervisor, manager), however despite setting the property for each field to do 'nothing happens when signed' in the 'signed' tab, the subsequent signature block 'common properties' under 'general' tab marks the subsequent fields as 'read only'.  This prevents the supervisor and manager from signing the document.  Please see attached. We don't use cloud, instead distribute the completed form via email attachment for signoff.  Can anyone help me pleeeease?

How do I stop the tool pane from opening each time I open a PDF?

I work on combining a lot of different documents for proposal books in an answer to an RFP. Every now and then (randomly), some pages of the document - random letters will go invisible. They won't be gone, I say invisible because I found a hack, where I can select all the text, make it bold and then unbold, and all the letters show back up. Sometimes the text will come back all by itself in a day or two, but usually don't wait that long. Here are a couple of screenshots I took from my recent book that had this issue:This is a really big pain for larger books and when it's crunch time to get it submitted and I have to go back over every page and make sure all the right words/letters are there. I've struggled to find this issue anywhere online, I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and tried looking through a Preflight report to no avail. If anyone has any advice/suggestions - I'd be happy to try! Thanks. -Matt

Hi! For synthesis PDF reader purpose I have to check the elements on Content Panel. In my PDF made from a Indesign document, I see (and listen) that a word with a 0,75pt strokes (I don't have bold face) appears twice. I didn't have this problem before... Is there a preference somewhere that can avoid this?  I'm on Sequoia 15.3, Indesign 2025, Acrobat 2024 up to date. Thanks!

Tenho um pdf que foi escaneado um capítulo de um livro. Na barra vertical onde deveria parecer o número da página do pdf, aparece o número que a página tinha no livro, por exemplo, em vez de informar que estpu na página 2 de 41 diz que estou na página 525 de 41. Como altero para exibir corretamente, ou seja, no exemplo, quero exibir página 2 de 41.

Just purchased a new iMac with M1 chip and executed migration assistant to transfer everything from old Mac to new one.  When I try to open a PDF, It displays the "Sign In Required" screen and when I click 'Sign in Now', the window expands to a completely blank rectangle except the title bar naming Acrobat Licensing Application.  Any ideas on what to do??

What happened to sharing a PDF without all this mess below??? I want to go back to clicking on SHARE and just email thru my Outlook account like it used to.    

I recently purchased an annual subscription for Acrobat Standard for the single one reason: to sign documents and get them signed by my business contacts. It worked well for weeks, but recently I left an Adobe-organization (unrelated to my Acrobat Standard subscription, it was for CCE only) and all of a sudden the e-signatures feature is not working anywhere: not in the browser-extension, not on the Acrobat portal and not in the Acrobat client application. Note that I did already log-off and -on again multiple times and I am 100% sure I choose the correct profile when signing in: the one that indeed has the Acrobat Standard license.  When requesting an e-signature in the client app, I want to view "More options" or I click "Specify where to sign" which will result in "Uploading document..." after a few seconds it will show "Authentication failed".  Please help me out? I have dozens of agreements waiting to be signed. 

We recently deployed Adobe Acrobat DC Standard and Pro to our company and one of our users is asking to change the "Add Text" default font from Minion to Times New Roman. I found the following link which points to Edit>Preferences>Content Editing>Font OptionsChange default font for fallback in PDF editing and Add TextThis is supposed to give options for Fallback font for Editing and Default Font for Add Text. When I follow this path the only option I see at all under Content Editing is a check box for "Enable Artificial Bold/Italic Font Styles".  I've checked all the other options in the program and even went through the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to try and find an answer, but with no luck.Does anyone have an idea on how to resolve this?Windows 7 is our operating system.

Good evening,I have an account with Adobe. I have a Surface Pro and desktop pc. I can open Adobe on my desktop and the icon while I am in Adobe shows my profile and information.  When I work on my surface pro, I try and click on the sign in area but the I cannot get to sign into my account. I click on the sign in area but nothing happens.  This is while I am working in Adobe. Am I missing something or doing something wrong?ThanksDoug  

Habe folgendes ProblemLade am Desktop-PC eine Datei in die Cloud, kann sie zwar in der Acrobat-App am IPhone aufrufen, aber ich kann diese Datei über andere Apps am IPhone (iOs 18.3.1) nicht aufrufen und somit die Datei nicht anhängen und verschicken.Was muss ich machen damit ich dies wieder hinbekomme, dass ich Datein aus der Cloud über andere Apps wieder verschicken kann?

When compiling a number of pages into a single portfolio in Acrobat Pro in Mac OS Sequioa 15.1 noone using acrobate reader seems able to open and read the document in free Acrobat Reader. It seems to only work when pages are integrated as one file. Also trying to convert a web page into a prinatble pdf seems no longer to work in Google in Mac OS. Can anyone advise please?
