Apologies if this has been posted before, I tried looking for similar issues but couldn't find this exact issue*. How do I make the scrollbar thumb (the bit you click on the drag the scrollbar around) always appear in Adobe Acrobat on Windows 11? Right now the thumb only appears when you mouse over the scrollbar. This is a major usability issue, especially for long documents, as I have to guess where the thumb is and then make a corrective mouse movement when I inevitably get it wrong. In Acrobat on previous Windows versions and in every other app on Windows 11, a skinny scollbar thumb is always shown so that I can mouse directly to it and the thumb gets big when you mouse over it. I don't want any AI in my Adobe Apps. Can AI be turned off?In addition, my Acrboat says to update it, but CreativeCloud says it is up-to-date. I click Restart and it crashes.

I just got a new subscription to Adobe and downloaded Acrobat.But when asked to sign-in, I complete the sign-in and then it continues to ask me to sign-in. I’ve tried sign-in with my email and a code, with my email and password and even direct with “Continue with Google” option.All appear successful, but the then the log-in pop-up opens again asking me to sign-in.

I am trying to solve an issue that has been driving me bonkers for quite some time now. I am unable to find anything online. Here is goes: I use Adobe Pro DC and frequently utilize Fill & Sign. Lately however, it only lets me fill on one character and then I have to re-click the box with my mouse to add another letter. Needless to say - that's not going to work for me and I keep defaulting to text boxes. Has anybody encountered that and if so, do you have a fix for me? Thank you in advance!

Since last week, suddenly facing issue to print mixed pages legal + letter and it shows error “ "this document can not be printed"”. surprisingly i can print individually legal and letter documents but not mixed.

For the past few months (all autumn tbh) Adobe Acrobat Reader DC keeps opening only seconds after whenever I just exited a game. Doesn't matter what game or how I play it - just from my desktop or through a game client like Steam/Battle.net, it keeps happening. This seems like the opposite problem everyone else has, as whenever I've tried to look it up in Google all I get are only results for the program crashing/closing, not unexpectantly opening.  I've so far found no settings I can edit to make it stop. Only thing I can do every single time is to just simply close the program. But this is getting tiresome after so long. My computer runs Win 10 Home if that helps. Any suggestions?

My computer restarted after windows updates and now I'm unable to preview pdf's as before. I have tried resetting View Options... in different options as suggested by multiple forums. None have been able to re-activate the Preview Pane option. In Adobe preferences, I've checked and unchecked "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" without success.Coworkers are now experiencing the same thing after the automatic updates occurred after-hours. Suggestions or alternatives to opening each file?

How do I stop Acrobat from displaying these annoying and instrusive banners whenever I open Acrobat on my Mac?I feel like I'm running crappy adware…

I was planning to subscribe to Acrobat Standard, but the Adobe sales rep talked me into the new Acrobat Express to save money but without a feature comparison available yet on their Web site.  Now I’m completely lost in this new software.One of the main features I wanted was OCR, which Standard seems to offer on the desktop, but Express seems to be pushing me off to the Cloud version (included) for that and other services.  I have no intention of using the cloud; I want the advertised features local on my desktop.Can somebody please explain what the how to get OCR of scanned documents on Express?

Hola, cuento con el Acrobat Pro, y cada vez que abro un archivo PDF (no importa el tamaño) y quiero navegar (subir o bajar en las paginas del documento) se demora o se cuelga el programa. Es frustrante tener que pagar y esperar una eternidad entre cada accion? Alguien sabe porque sucede o como arreglar esto?

Unknown if this an Acrobat Pro bug or Windows 11,  but if I hover the cursor over the acrobat pro icon on the task bar, I get a list of documents that are currently open PLUS a list of “dead” documents. These cannot be closed.Showing “dead” document windowsIf I “close all tabs” in Acrobat, only the real documents will disappear - the dead ones will continue be listed.  AFAICS it might take a restart of windows to clear these, but I may be mistaken.

I am having some issues with Table borders in the finished PDF.OS:  Win10Word--Office 365 ProPlusAcrobat 11.0.23Have a file with a table. The table has borders. When I PDF the doc and open the PDF, random horizontal borders are missing.  They print properly, though.Same result with using the PDF printer and the Word Save as PDF plugin.There are multiple posts with similar issues, but I haven't seen any solutions.Here's how the table looks in Word:Here's how it looks in Acrobat (And Reader, and MS Edge):Any suggestions?

I have a pdf that I want to add check boxes to which has 3 columns of check boxes and multiple lines. How do I add them quickly and make them all aligned and the same size? See attached PDF.

My snapshot tool looks like this and it doesnt stay selected. it only copies the area. how can i change it back to the original snapshot tool?

With recent updates, we have found that the snapshot tool has lost certain functionality. Previously, when our staff would use the tool, it would hilight the area blue, and from there we can zoom/adjust as necessary to get the exact screenshot we were looking for. The zooming was critical as it would maintain a high resolution when copy and pasting. Now, the tool automatically copies to the clipboard after highlighting with no ability to adjust the highlighted area like previously before. Now when zooming in and trying to screenshot, they are incredibly low resolution, even after adjusting the snapshot PPI in the settings. This is the same case when switching to the “old” version of Acrobat. Please bring back the functionality or at least an option to enable it, it is a CRITICAL part of our workflow that has been taken away with no warning or alternative provided.

Does anyone know why Acrobat is such an incredibly bad program?Is it because it's so sloppily programmed, or simply because it's completely overloaded with questionable "features" that nobody needs and that don't work properly?It's slow, crashes during standard tasks, and is incredibly cumbersome to use.I've rarely seen such junk...

I have a document that I want to convert from pdf to word. The document is very long, over 1,000 pages. I don’t know if this has any thing to do with the issue but when I attampt to convert the document, I have a column on the right side that consists of lines. When the conversion takes place, most of the time the lines come out correctly, but sometimes the lines come out as multiple underscores which is incorrect.How can I convert this document and have it consistently convert correctly with just blank lines.I have attached a picture of an excerpt with yellow near the correctly converted lines and green where the lines were converted incorrectdly./Thanks in advance.
