Hi everyone. I have to check for read out loud in italian a bunch of documents.It works fine in english, but as i set the language in italian it doesn't work:Preferences > Reading > Read Out Loud Options > Voice: Microsoft Elsa Desktop - Italian (Italy)No sound coming out.If i set it back to english i can hear it.This is on every PDF file. It works fine on other devices. Is this a bug? any fixes? Best,G

We have started using digital certified signatures in our office, and after configuring mine, it turns out it's much smaller than that of my colleagues (about half the size), to the point where the graphic part is difficult to see. There is about the same amount of text, and I used the same resolution when scanning my signature. The only major difference I can think of is that I'm using a Mac while my colleagues are on a PC. Note that we don't create a field for this: we simply select Certificates and Digitally Sign: there seems to me no way to modify the size of the signature before, and of course not after either. This is also an issue where documents have varying sizes of boxes where to apply the signature. Thanks in advance for helping with this!

Hi, there's currently a very weird issue affecting Adobe Acrobat DC 64 bits over version 24.004.202xx If it's the first time any user try to open a Purview Protected file from their desktop, not from within the app, they get the browser window asking them to continue and then Adobe times out and gives this error : Client application failed to provide authentication token for HTTP request If we try to open the exact same file from within Adobe, as in "File > Open" or from the recent files, it works perfectly well and the credentials are saved for next time. To reproduce, it's incredibly easy, go to Edit > Preference > Security > Clear Remembered Account Information (from the Microsoft Purview Information Protection) and try to open a protected file from your desktop. Hi i cant seem to find an answer to this.. I have a dropdown list. I've been having a problem for the last 6 months or so with Adobe. I am a high school math teacher and frequently use pdfs for notetaking. I use a Microsoft Surface tablet at school (running windows 11) which allows me to be mobile and work through math at any location in the room for the entire class. Adobe has a draw function within the edit options which has been fantastic in the past.  Recently though, Adobe will start to flash, glitch, lag and finally crash my entire OS. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, checking for updates, fixing the installation, and even tried my home computer (running windows 10). The same problem is happening across both devices. In addition to this, adobe is draining the batteries on both devices at an outrageous pace. We're talking that within 2.5 hours of using Adobe, my device is under 10% battery. However, if I use those same devices for internet browsing, I can get a solid 4-6 hours before even slightly worrying about the battery.&nb

Hi everyone, I need to create a PDF document for a review workflow where several people read and comment on the file one after another. Here’s what I need: Person 1 reads the PDF, adds comments, saves it, and sends it to Person 2.Person 2 can see Person 1’s comments but cannot change or delete them. They should only be able to add their own comments.The same continues for Person 3, Person 4, and so on.  Ideally, the document should be revision-safe, meaning that all comments and changes are traceable, and earlier annotations cannot be altered by later reviewers. Is there a way to set up such a protected, revision-safe commenting process directly within a PDF file? Thank you in advance for your help!

11/12/2025 - I have Adobe Premiere Pro.  All of my PDFs HAD a black background and were fine. Suddenly, a drawing feature appeared at the top that now allows someone to draw on my documents and they can indeed be saved with the drawings on them through downloading them.  I tested it. This is not supposed to happen as they are password protected. The system is failing to do what it is supposed to do. I called about a week ago and one of your employees did something which changed most of them,  except about 30 of the documents to a white background. This worked great, because now the ones that HAVE been changed also have the read aloud feature and can be translated into many languages. I am a teacher, so this is wonderful for my students. How can I change the remaining PDFs to a white background with the read aloud feature and how can I ensure that new ones are always white as well - without a drawing feature at the top? I have been working on a 800 page scanned PDF of a book written in the 1800's... the objective... make it look as good as possible, and create a fully searchable text indexed PDF set that was - perfect.I have worked with Acrobat a great deal in the past but never to do this type of task, normally print based work where the content is perfect and the process I am about to explain to you would never be required. So this was a search and destroy mission for me... I did alot of searching over the past few days. Alot of downloading of software trials to see only that they were in short - buggy rubbish.The biggest problem came in that the entire 800 pages were scanned manually from a bound document. Meaning the had very large black areas to all four edges of both the odd and even pages, they varied in thickness from page to page all the way though the document and that meant cropping the PDF was pointless for a few reasons. I know you have locked previous threads about this, but I feel so strongly about this I have gone out of my way to register and bring it to your attention again Remove this disgusting practice of installing McAfee by default. The download page selects the installation of this terrible software by default and completely erodes trust in your brand and products. Going forward I will be looking for viable alternatives to all Adobe software and this is likely the response of most of your customers after having to uninstall this trash.

I've used Acrobat professionally and personally for well over 20 years (since version 4.0, at least) and the product has become bloated with non-essential features, slowing down my process and hogging system memory, not to mention the online (and not) associated bloatware. I have just cancelled my personal subscription as the addition of useless AI features is the final straw. Unfortunately I am stuck using it for work, but will not re-engage with the product until it becomes more streamlined, economical and user-friendly.  There's been an industry-wide trend over the past 15 or so years to add "impovements" and constantly mess with UI/UX that have added very, very little to productivity imho and Acrobat Pro might be the worst of the lost. Just kidding, it's PowerPoint, but whatever. 

Hi all, This is a problem that has been going on for years, and it's time it was addressed. I came across this post in 2020 https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/update-of-acrobat-dc-changes-default-printer/td-p/11671150 that describes the same problem. I've been tolerating it for at least as long, but I'm so tired of it, that I'm going to try to bring it to the attention of Adobe, as I'm sure it needs a development fix, rather than something in setting, or something I'm missing. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat as your default printer, or if you only use the default printer preferences, you will not even know that this problem exists. I try not to print out anything I don't have to, to paper, so I always have my default printer set to Adobe Acrobat. I do not let Windows manage the printer, because that's a stupid feature and can't possibly help me, or anyone else in this world in any way at all, that can't be solved by specifying the default printer manually

Malheureusement quand je vais dans les options de lecture audio et dans la voix, j'ai qu'une seule option en Anglais.Je cherche comment ajouter des voix dans cette option.Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'aider s'il vous plait ? 

My company currently has 10-12 frequent Adobe Acrobat users, utilizing either standard Reader or Acrobat Standard/Pro. These versions are all freshly installed, updated, and running on brand new Dell business laptops. We are dealing with consistent performance issues that are affecting the users ability to work effeciently. We are seeing frequent freezing, unresponsiveness to actions like signing, 60-120 seconds to save files (locally and on network shares), and even crashing. We have performed fresh installations on a few devices, and performance improves for a short amount of time before quickly returning to being poor.  We have tried adjusting page view settings, signature verification settings, and other recommendations from previous posts to no avail. An important thing to note is that the enhanced security options are enforced by group policy, so we cannot troubleshoot disabling any of those.  Any advice would be appreciated, we currently have a supp

I am having an issue where the open doc minatures duplicate so if I have one document open, the minatures are showing two documents. My IT has removed and re-installed Adobe numerous times and that seems to resolve the issue initially but it arrises again within 2-3 days. 

I have a 27 page PDF with fillable fields on each sheet. I am running into the problem where something being typed in a text box on page 1 is being added to a text box on page 5. I know that this is from copying and pasting the text box. I have multiple text boxes and pages that this is happening to. I want to know if there is a shortcut way to highlight a box and see if the information is being translated to any other boxes in the PDF? It will be tedious and time consuming for me to go box by box.

I exported a PDF from InDesign that needs to be digitally accessible. The problem is that Adobe InDesign places all footnotes (note) in a p-tag (p). You can, of course, manually extract the footnotes from the p-tag in Acrobat. But it's a document with almost 100 footnotes, so that would be a lot of manual work.Is there a way to do this automatically? For example, with a (preflight) script? I hope so 😉

Hello - The last version of Adobe Acrobat Pro will not save the default printing preferences I set up under Windows Settings/Printers & Scanners/Adobe PDF printing preferences.  I use the USPTO "joboptions" Adobe setting all day long and always had that set up as my default printing preferences but for some reason the setting will no longer save.  It's like every time a new document gets opened up in Adobe the settings revert back to the default "Standard" regardless that I set up my preferences in Windows settings for the printer.  Typically when I set up my printing preferences under the Windows settings for the Adobe PDF printer they are saved but since the latest update it will not and it's been frustrating having to change the preferences many times during the day.  How can I get the printing preferences settings to save again so I don't have to change it per document? I currently have Adobe Acrobat Pro v25.001.20813 and it says there are no updates av

My Acrobat Pro must've just updated, and I am no longer able to choose to open documents in seperate windows.  This option appears to have disappeared from the preferences.  Does anyone know how this can be switched back on?  I cannot stand having to view docs in tabs within the same window.  the version is 2023.001.20143 for MAC.

Hi All, Been using ABBYY for years for redacting pdfs but it has its limitations.Curently roadtesting Adobe where we can have a text file for Adobe to use for the redactions, the keywords.Im genuinely shocked and stunned that this product made it to market. It constantly crashes and / or the Apply button to redact is missing.Restarted Adobe more times than I want to remember, repiar / reinstall hasnt solved it.Cant be just me facing the issue where the bloody Apply button doesnt appear?

Hallo,ich habe eine Reihe von Bildern, alle 3400x300px mit 300dpi. Ich führe alle Bilder zu einer Datei zusammen. Sehen in der Übersicht auch gut aus, in der fertigen Sammelmappe sind einige Bilder aber teilweise zehn Mal so groß wie die anderen oder auch ganz klein, obwohl ich alles überprüft habe. Morning you fine and informed folk - my work version of Adobe Acrobat Pro has just dropped an update ( 2024.001.20604 64bit) and I now cannot for the life of me see how to add a simple table into a PDF. Old advice was:Using the Type tool , place the insertion point where you want the table to appear. Choose Table > Insert Table. Specify the numbers of rows and columns. Specify the number of horizontal cells in the body row and the number of vertical cells in the Column. I cannot find a Choose Table > Insert Table option so any guidance on how/where this is done in the new version? D.

Hi,  I just got adobe and was trying to fill and save a form and adobe not letting me save the document and giving me error mesage of "there was problem reading this document 135". I have followed all the instructions online and did trouble shoot but still the problem is same. if some one can assist me why i am getting this error would be helpful.  Thanks Faisla 

I am working with a user using Adobe Acrobat Pro 64bit unable to to open multiple PDFs at a time recently. I have verified that Adobe, Windows, and their laptop firmware are up to date. I have disabled protected mode and that did not resolve the issue either. Restarting the laptop has not helped resolve this issue either. Are there any other steps I can try to help resolve the issue? This has been ongoing for a few days, before then, the user could access w/o any issue.
