I use Acrobat Pro DC 2015 (perpetual) on my desktop and laptop.  Well, my laptop died (unrecoverable bios failure) so I junked it on eBay and bought a new laptop.   Acrobat Pro DC 2015 won't activate on my new laptop.  The message I get says the serial number is already in use by the maximum number of allowed computers.  The error message dialog box provides a retry activation fuction, if you've deactivated one of the other computers.   My old laptop is no longer listed under activated devices in my account but my new laptop and desktop are.   For some reason, Acrobat Pro DC 2015 still thinks my old laptop is still present.  How do I deactivate my old defunct laptop so I can activate Acrobat Pro DC 2015 on my new laptop?  Thanks

Hi, Our company recently adopted the Aptos Narrow font as the official font for all documentation. However, we've encountered an issue where the font renders incorrectly in PDF format using Adobe Acrobat at certain zoom levels. Interestingly, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge renders the font correctly at any zoom level. Additionally, I have observed the same rendering issue in Adobe Illustrator while designing. Once the text is converted to outlines, the problem is resolved. Printing appears unaffected, so the issue seems to be limited to onscreen rendering in Adobe applications.  Given the importance of maintaining a professional appearance, this rendering issue negatively impacts the visual quality of our corporate documentation shared in PDF. Could you please advise when Adobe plans to address this issue? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards,Andre

Does Acrobat Pro have a way to convert PDFs to true black and white? When I look in the "convert colors" function in print production it has grayscale, but I don't see black and white as an option. I've been searching for fixes and every tutorial and question/answer I find only converts to grayscale; does Acrobat not have the capability to convert to ture black and white?

Are Acrobat Pro 2020 (desktop) updates going to be discontinued?

I have a user in my work environment, as well as my own work laptop, that experiences Outlook freezing randomly and infrequently when attempting to convert an email to PDF. The issue does not happen every time, but there is no indication on what is causing it. I've been able to test converting a single email 20+ times without issue, and then attempt it again shortly after a small break, and then it will just lock up on the conversion window and then force close/reopen Outlook. There's no consistency with what kind of emails and attachments, as this can happen with any email. I've tried looking up this issue, and have read suggestiosn regarding adjusting indexing and other settings in Outlook under conversion settings, but none of these resolve the issue. Disabling the PDFMaker addin is also not an option, as that just completely removes the option to convert an email.  These events do register in Event Viewer, however they are generic with Event ID of 1000, and just simply re

Adobe, As a company, you are making it so easy to hate you.   You don't fix your products for your customers.  You neglect them.   You put up road blocks to your users in allowing them to use your products.   For instance, to constantly require a user to log in just to use your desktop product is beyond the pale.  I have never seen anything like it.   People just want to use software without having to jump through hoop after hoop.   It has gotten so bad that my company is now abandoning your product.  Way to go.  You are shooting yourself as a company in the foot and allowing customers to leave in droves to Fox-It, Nitro and other alternatives.  

It want login etc every day at least and sometimes more often. How do you stop that?

Just purchased Acrobat Pro because I need it to do specific work this weekend.  Been trying to get to install since yesterday afternoon.  Just keeps buffering.  I have good internet connection and installed a different app I purchased yesterdday with no problem.  I need to complete a project today.  Help???

I’ve been experiencing with Adobe Acrobat for several months. I can no longer use PNG files when signing PDF documents with an image.Whenever I try to select any PNG file as my signature image, the system shows the following error message: “This image file is corrupt. Select a different file or try again.”However, the file itself is not corrupt — when I use the exact same PNG file on another computer, it works perfectly. This suggests that the issue is not related to the file, but possibly to my computer settings or Adobe Acrobat configuration.For your reference, I’m using a MacBook Pro (macOS Sequoia 15.0).Could you please advise how I can resolve this issue?

This rarely works and results my searching for the last PDFs. The real problem is that I get only a handful of recent files, while the others are several years old. Considering that I am working on new PDFs seven days a week, this should not happen and the files shown should be current.Any ideas how to reset whatever to get the current files listed from the last session?

 - Web version has "request e-signature" but when I click on it it shows a red banner "E-signing services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." My account is still active until Aug 2026.   Please help.

As said in the subject, generative AI is not working on desktop. When I click the icon on the menu, it just shows a blank white space. I can't click the AI assistant either. I've subscribed to Adobe Acrobat AI and my account is signed in to the desktop app. I have stable internet connection too.What should I do? Thanks in advance for the help! 

When you have the Chrome Extenstion enabled for acrobat, large pdf files get a sad face when trying to open. The file we are opening is 250mb and it fails. Disable the chrome extension and the pdf opens fine. That happens on the latest version of the chrome extension.  How do you get adobe involved to fix the extension?

Hello, I have a user who is printing from Acrobat and the text is printing as random characters or boxes on select documents. This occurs on any printer, and the file appears normal when previewing it in Acrobat. The user will print several documents from the same source, which are all formatted the same, but only select ones have an issue printing correctly. The issue is occurring with select documents from several sources. The user is receiving these documents by email, and when they print out of the email directly, they print normally. However, once the document is saved and printed through Adobe it prints incorrectly.  Adobe is up to date, and the "save as optimizes for fast web view" setting is turned off. Any other ideas?

Dear Adobe community,I have a question regarding special characters in Adobe Pro. I have the 2020 version and when inserting text, there are a few special characters that don't copy from my keyboard, such as the pipe or the "bigger than". When looking the issue up online, I was told to go to the keystroke combination settings, only that I do not find them in my menu. Is this a version issue or does anyone know how to fix this?Thank you very much for any pointers!

After uninstalling multiple times and reinstalling, Acrobat Standard continues to be installed and not Acrobat Pro, which is what my subscription is for. It was fine for six months until I had to reinstall Acrobat. I'm using the correct login details and I've previously used the cleanup tool to wipe my computer clean of the previous install.

I used to be able to share a pdf by text, with anyone who had a smart phone.  Now I try to share a pdf and I'm sent to a site and asked to sign up for WHATSAPP.  I don't want to use another app, I don't know if the people I share with will have whatsapp.   Please take a step back and make it easier for sharing pdf's.
