I have a bunch of HR docs that I need to send for e-signatures. How can I auto populate the date and signature fields so I don't ahve to grab and drag over to each space when requesting an e-signature? Thank you

Hello everybody I've reviewed the forums and have also been in touch with Adobe Support on this directly. But no solution as of yet. Would be grateful for any guidance. I've just purchased Acrobat DC because I wanted to be able to edit PDFs. The file that I am trying edit is using the font:  "Officina Sans ITC Book". However when I try to edit text in the file, it automatically defaults to a different font (Minion Pro) and a message pops up"The original font Officina Sans ITC Book is not available or can't be used in editing. Adobe Acrobat DC is using the font Minion Pro in its place."To resolve this, I purchased the "Officina Sans ITC Book" font package and downloaded it to my computer. It's working fine when I try to use it in Word. However, I still can't use it in Acrobat. In the Adobe Distiller settings, the font is listed there as "always embed" under the "font settings".Does anybody have any ideas? My company always use this font, so I need to find a way around this. Thanks

I'm a grad student and would love be able to use shortcuts to simply highlight PDFs and annotate them in the comments sidebar. My "single-key accelorators" option is turned on, however when I ue the cursor to highlight text and press "u" the text is struck through, ALWAYS, and never highlighted. Shift + u performs identically—it doesn't cycle through annotation options, it ONLY strikes throught text. If I press "u" and attempt to highlight, the automatic response of the program is "insert text." Can somebody PLEASE help my configure the program to simply... highlight? This is the bane of my reading existence and I know other users have encountered this issue, too, without resolution.  Many, many thanks.

Hi guys,Everytime I try to install the Acobradt the message "Installation Failed" appears with error 136 and when I click retry, the same error repeats.  

I've made a PDF, just by exporting as a PDF from Microsoft Word. Now I want to be able to view it on my mobile or iPad without having to scroll across/zoom in etc. It also contains images. How do I make it mobile friendly? I've done a few Google searches but most have told me to use the Action Wizard which doesn't seem to have done anything. Any help is much appreciated!

This is what I'm trying to accomplish: - CHOOSE ABC DEALERSHIP FROM DROP-DOWN LIST TO POPULATE TEXTBOXA- TEXTBOXA HAS CALCULATION SCRIPT: var TETXBOXA =this.getField("DEALERSHIP").value;event.value=TETXBOXA; ^^ this portion works great. Here is where I need assistance: I NEED TEXTBOXB TO BE THE ADDRESS OF WHATEVER DEALERSHIP TEXTBOXA IS.   

Same problem as everyone else under the sun: I cannot figure out how to permanently hide the "All Tools" menu on Acrobat Pro 2023.003.20215. Preferences > Documents > Open Settings > Remember Current State ... is just missing for me (and apparently for others, too.) And, depressingly, the registry keys bRHPSticky and bExpandRHPinViewer don't seem to affect Acrobat Pro. Having to close and re-close the "All Tools" menu every single time I open a new PDF, all day every day, is exhausting and I hate it. Does anyone know a fix for this (aside from switching away from Adobe)?

I have an Armenian-language PDF that is using ANSI fonts (see below). Adobe is not able to search the doc (or, rather,  it keeps saying it is not finding anything). The help docs are not particularly helpful. Is there something I need to do to make searches possible? Thanks.  

How do I uninstall the McAfee Security Scan Plus software Adobe Acrobat DC installed without my permission on Windows 10? The Uninstall option is grayed out in Windows Settings -> Apps & Features. McAfee keeps popping up telling me I have a "potential" security threat and won't tell me what it is and directs me to the McAfee website to purchase it. Seems like a marketing scam to me. I don't appreciate Adobe doing this. 

Why, suddenly can I not print a PDF from Outlook?  I keep getting a message saying 'Your Acrobat trial has expired. Buy now to restore full access to Acrobat. Click OK to buy.'Ive been printing fine for years, suddenly, in the middle of the day, when I had been printing fine, I get the above message. I have a free Adobe account, I can save the PDF to my PC and then print the PDF with no issue, using Adobe. Please help as this is getting frustrating. 

 i have subscription for creative cloud , all apps i can use easily but when i try to open PDF in acrobat it dosen't open in Adobe acrobat

Before the upgrade I could click on "Add Text" and it would simply let me add text to my document, but now after the upgrade, I click on "Add Text" and it goes into "edit mode" showing all of the boxes, etc... on the form and making it very complicated to actually "Add Text" to the document.  Is there a fix for this? This is the main reason that we use Adobe and the fill and sign is WAY over kill for what we need this system to do with these documents.  We just need our simple Add Text back.

Control + C has stopped working completely!!Uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, worked again for around 15 minutes, then packed up again!!Incredibly frustrating and making tasks twicw as long!!Is there a fix for this??

Hi This is weird. I have two cover PDFs exported from Indesign which when viewed side-by-side show different colours but should be the same. The original cover was produced about a year ago and the new one was produced from the previous ones document and both were output to the same colour management settings. When I examine the background colour in Acrobat or PitStop the values are the same in both files but one is noticeably bluer than the other. It's not an issue with a weird spot on my monitor as if i swap the two files around the difference moves with them. If I view the two files in Acrobat X (or a web browser) the files appear as expected. Just to demonstrate to myself that I am not imagining it I took a screenshot of the files side by side and pasted into Photoshop - sure enough the values are different so Acrobat is displaying them differently. See screenshot attached - I placed some colour samplers in Photoshop. Never seen this before - anyone go

Hello I have a strange issue with Acrobat : I can't have all text on note. That are disappearing...As it seems that there is no solution (already post on this issue), I want to install an old version of Acrobat, but I don't have the option on the Creative Cloud app like in other software.Where can I find old version ?Thanks

I have been using Acrobat PDFMaker  to export my PPT files to PDF because it is the only software that preserves the names of the slides as bookmarks (PowerPoint inbuild PDF tool adds text in front Slide 1: Slide 2: in front of title which I can't have).I have latest Acrobat and Office and there was no update at all in last week.Suddenly when I export PPT all the hyperlinks do not get exported or don't work at all. If I use anything else to export the same PPT, links work.If I export same PPT from last week that worked 100%, now the links are no longer there.I can't even think of what setting would cause this. I do not want to uninstall everything so if anyone has any other suggestions, please advice.Thanks. 

Over the last few days, everytime I and a few other Adobe Acrobat users just open the app, it hangs and we need to wait for it to respond. Sometimes it works, but it is unpredictable. This was not an issue last week. I have updated to the newest version via updates yet it still happens. I paused virus scanning w/o any improvement.  I also tried to disable enhanded security and protected mode, but that does not seem to help either. Do you have any suggestions, this is quite annoying. 

Question: How do I create a dropdown list with assigned dependents in other fields? Example, I want the primary dropdown list to have various project names to choose from. When I select a project name I would like another field in the form to automatically populate with a specific project number associated with the project name I selected. Thanks for your help!
