Someone at our organization created a PDF with fillable form to send out. Some of them come back normal, but some come back showing the text entered in the fields duplicated or ghosted. I checked the original and there are no duplicated fields.On my own computer, they look normal in Acrobat Reader, but when I print them all of the fields text is doubled, impossible to read.The user can manually delete the text if they highlight and click delete.

I am converting Word docs into pdfs. In the tagging process as the conversion happens, all the white spaces (i.e. returns etc) are tagged. When this then runs through the WCAG 2.2 accessibilty checker (PAC) it flags it as a problem, which it is. People using screen readers don´t want to be hearing "blank" all the time when coming across these tags.Going back to the Word doc to reformat it with spacing in the paragraph settings would not really work because of the type of document we have.The resulting pdf has sometimes hundreds of these empty tags. If you try to delete the empty tag, it´s still a problem because the accessibility checker then says that item is missing a tag. So, it seems I need a way to mark these items as artifacts but I am not going to go through every single one of these in turn to mark them. I need a way to batch mark these items as artifacts. How can I do this? Or is there any alternative (needing the fix in the pdf rather than Word).Phew! TIA 

Is there a way to show tabs for all open PDFs? If I have more than one PDF open in Acrobat, there's only one tab showing, the one for the PDF currently being viewed. What's the point of having tabs if they don't all show—like in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.  There is one tab for the currently visible PDF. I have to go to the Window menu to select a different PDF that is also open. Seems like I should be able to just click on that other PDF's tab, so I assume there's a way to show all tabs. Can anyone direct me to how to do that?  Thanks 

I am trying to create a trave & traing PDF form.  I’m running into issues with the following…If the check box is checked the employee gets reimbursed.  If it s not checked the company paid for the expense. They will type the amount in the amount fields.   I would like a summary that totals each section (see below) but I’m finding some issues and I’m not sure how to ask the question and get any response that makes sense.  I also do not right JavaScript.If I add the a sum using the calulate tab in text field properties using the amount total  of each section, it cannot be overwritten or corrected.I’ve tried an “if” formula found on the web to add add the amount if checked.  It didn’t function as I had hoped.Ideally I would like it to add the amount recorded in the transportation field if checked – under the Employee Reimbursement and if unchecked it goes into the Event Expenses.Employee Check Request Total totals everything under Employee Reimb

Suggestion: Give text fields optional labels. 1.) Only small, medium, or large font size.2.) Placement of left, right, above or below text field.3.) Character limit of 25. Keep it simle if necessary, but simpler label options for text fields are wanted.

I have to print a 76 page document. Very simple. Brother laser printer HL-L5200 with up to date Firmware. Intel iMac with up to date iOS - Sequoia 15.6.1 It’s taking me HOURS because I keep getting the error name pages. I now have 16 error name pages. I’ve unplugged, restarted everything. Using Adobe Reader and Acrobat.  I’ve gotten one error name page before here and there but restarting the printer seemed to fix it. But not now.  The document is nothing but text on  letter and legal.  I have a dual tray printer and using Adobe Acrobat the printer will select the paper size  needed when printing.   I’ve tried printing one page at a time. When I do that I only get the Error Name pages. All of the Error name pages say the same thing.  Does anyone have a solution?  Thanks in advance.   i'm now up to 20 error pages. Wasting so much paper.

Hi! I'm a windows user using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat and I've been finding that the auto tagging is extremely slow. I'm currently trying to autotag a 23 page document with the progress bar stuck at 20% for the past 20 minutes. Previously when I've autotagged it'd be maximum 40 seconds of waiting. Any advice on what to do?

When opening Adobe attachments from Outlook I frequently get the error pop up "The instruction at 0x00007ffce23bed7d referenced memory at 0x0000000000000018. The memory could not be read" It does not stop me from opening the attachment I hit ok and the pdf opens, its just annoying. I have uninstalled run the Adobe cleaner reinstalled. I have turned off protected mode. I have cleared my cache, dumped my temp folder. Any other ideas? Thanks

I am in the UK, I am a paying subscriber but I cannot load a complete installation file. It just halts part way through, always at the same downloaded percentage count, then attempts to unzip the partial ZIP file, which obviously won't work. I have to pay 19.97 GB Pounds a month for this poor service. ADOBE - get it fixed ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!   There are other alternatives available.

I recently encountered a problem when trying to flatten a PDF. I successfully flattened one a month ago, but now I am having issues. These are the steps I used:1. Preflight: Flatten annotations and form fields.2. Flattener Preview: I left all defaults the same EXCEPT I checked the box "Convert All Text to Outlines".  As I previously said, this worked perfectly a month ago. To check that it was flattened, I was not able to use the highlighter tool, confirming that it was indeed flattened.  But, trying this same method numerous times in the last few days (and on numerous pdf''s), the highlighter tool IS available, telling me that the file is not flattened.I'm pulling my hair out. Help!

Periodically I experience an issue where I add several comments to a PDF, share that annotated file with others using the "Share" button, then a day later notice that all or some of my comments have been duplicated. See below from an incident that happened today:  In today's incident, when I opened the file, one version of each comment used my photo and my name in title case, and one version of each comment used a red and blue cartoon avatar and my name lowercase all one word. I deleted all the cartoon avatar comments. Then restarted Acrobat. When I opened the application again, a third of the deleted comments were still there, but this time it showed my photo instead of the cartoon avatar. I deleted all the comments by the lowercase, one-word version of my name. Then closed the file and opened it again. This time, the same comments had returned again, but showed a gray icon for my avatar.  WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?! This same issue happened on two different files that

Hello, Adobe Community!In my workplace I have users that utilize the Adobe Acrobat DC application and need to save all PDFs to PDF/a-1b standard due to storage standards. That said, I have gone through the Windows Settings menu to get to the Printer Preferences and edited the PDF/A-1b standard for 300 DPI and created a new job option for that standard named PDFA1b 2005 RGB_300_DPI so that when my users create a PDF through the Adobe PDF printer object the standard should be automatically applied as the Default Settings, and it is in most instances. However, there is an issue where my users are seeing that the Adobe PDF printer object's printing preferences Default Settings field reverts to Standard.That said, I always have my users reinstate the created 300_DPI settings as needed via the Windows OS Settings menu, however eventually the issue returns. I'm not really sure what might be causing this other than maybe an update to the Acrobat DC application, however I haven't

I am marking up PDFs and whenever I create a text box with the text box tool so that I can make a comment, and then try to type in the box, I can see the cursor moving along as if I am typing but I cannot see any text. I have tried to change the size of the font, thinking it might have been set at a very small size, but that doesn't work.

When I try to combine JPG as PDF it only does a maximum of 16 files. Why is this? I used to be able to combined many more files in one go.  IF I select 30 files and go to combine files in Acrobat it only takes through 16.

Wenn ich bei adobe einlogge sehe ich meinen Seriennummer aufgelisten als registriert seit 2017. Unter Aktivierte Geräte steht "Keine aktivierten Geräte vorhanden". Gibt es ein Trick um trotzdem die Fehlermeldung wegzukriegen?

When opening a PDF from an email attachment (without saving it locally), Acrobat displays the following error:"The instruction at 0x00007FF93712D24D referenced memory at0x0000000000000018. The memory could not be read."However, if the same file is first saved to the desktop and opened from there, no error occurs. Hi all, I have a Windows 10 computer and moving as many applications as possible to my Windows 11 computer.  How do I transfer Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 academic, non-subscriber, perpetual, single-user license to the Windows 11 computer? I have an Adobe account with my personal email and it's linked to my Adobe subscription products.  Acrobat was purchased when I was at a university and used my university email address to activate it.  I'm not there anymore and don't have access to my university email account but I did pay for the academic version with my own funds so I own it and have the serial number for activating.   I'd like to move Acrobat to my Windows 11 computer and link the serial number to my Adobe account so that it shows up in my list of Adobe software.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks for your assistance.

I updated to the latest version of the continuous release, 2024.001.20615, using the Help >  Check For Updates on macOS 14.4. I can open the files within the OneDrive macOS app, but I do not see them updating on the Recent.  All settings are turned on:1. Open PDFs from last session on Acrobat launch > Checked2. Privacy & Security > Files and Folders > Adobe Acrobat > Full Disk Access > OneDrive > Checked3. Privacy & Security >  Full Disk Access > Adobe Acrobat > Checked. In addition, I unistalled and reinstalled the Adobe Acrobat from the Creative Cloud App multiple times. Still the same problem with the Adobe Acrobat Pro Continuous Release | Version 2024.001.20604 and Continuous Release | 2024.001.20615. Lastly, I have also checked with my othet MacBook Pro 14.4 and facing the same problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro. Please fix this problem as I need to access the OneDrive files in Recent. 

I have a few OST (Offline Storage Table) files from my Outlook account that I need to convert to PDF for easier storage and access. I’ve tried searching online for converters, but I’m unsure about which one is reliable and works well for OST to PDF conversion. Could someone suggest the best tools or methods to convert these files without losing any data? Any detailed solution or step-by-step guide would be greatly appreciated!

My plan states I have the ”Acrobat Pro” version, but the version available in CC is called ”Acrobat”. I have tried uninstalling Acrobat and logging out from CC, and rebooting MacOS.

 libcef.dll crash when opening PDF attachments from Outlook – Windows 11 24H2 + Acrobat Pro 25.001.20531 Details:We are encountering a persistent error when opening PDF attachments from New Outlook on machines running Windows 11 24H2. Acrobat Pro (v25.001.20531) & (v25.001.20566) fails to load the libcef.dll component with the following message: The procedure entry point IsThirdPartyInitialized could not be located in the dynamic link library libcef.dllAnother error  This crash does not occur when opening PDFs directly from Explorer, and only occurs when Outlook attempts to launch the PDF. All workarounds have been attempted, including disabling preview, renaming CEF folders, compatibility mode, and uninstall/reinstall attempts. libcef.dll details 

I tried to do a support chat today and the rep after I got disconnected frrom one the day before said there is a known issue the ADC-4489673 and it is being worked one. If nothing is heard within 2-3 days to check back.  I search and haven't seen anything on this issue so if that's case why doesn't adobe start to post known issues so people can just respond and add themselves to existing issue tickets and notification when it's solved and steps to fix it?  THE INSTRUCTION AT 0x0000###### rerferenced memory at 0x000000000.
