I am trying to change the password on one of my pdf's in acrobat. The pdf is password protected and I have the correct password and I am able to view the document, but when I go to change any of the document's security settings, it asks me for a permissions password. I type in the document password and it says it is incorrect. What is going on here?

Trying to send request signature in bulk with Acrobat Pro but it either just sits on the processing wheel and does nothing or gives 'auth.services.adobe.com refused to connect.' error message. Have tried different browsers, cleared cache, removed Adobe add-on from browser but still getting the same issues. Please help!

When I try to print off an A4 document, the preview shows as Letter size. Have been into every setting of laptop, Adobe Pro and Printer, but they are all set as A4. Can't figure out how to change the preview size. Please help! 

I have a user that prior being migrated to W11 and moving to Adobe Acrobat 2020 standard, when emailing files from a specific application, she would get the dialog box attached. She would then select "Add to e-mail list" and it would allow here to add others files to the same email. This has dissappeared. The "Send option" box no longer opens. I was wondoeing if it is no longer available or does something need to be enabled or disabled? I assume this is a Microsoft thing, but wanted to check here in case if was an Adobe Setting.    

I've created many forms, so I know the process. I would anchor the form field to the Text and then in Articles, I would "use for tagging order". But once Export to Interactive PDF, all of the form fields are somehow not tagged and the order seems to be all over the place! Is there some kind of glitch? Do I need to restart my Adobe Acrobat? Or is there another way I can fix this? The form is 3 pages long with a lot of form fields...I don't want to have to start over!

I have created a PDF (from MS Word) which contains text and images. The images were taken on my smartphone and inserted into Word. There are no tags or properties that have any 'layman's' description of the content of the images (either when standalone images or after insertion into Word), but once I have saved the Word document as a PDF and open it in Acrobat, if I hover over the images a pop-up shows with a brief generic description (it has detected some trees, so has added "A close-up of a tree - Description automatically generated") - I can't see where this is happening or how to stop it. Any help appreciated.

Hello all, I am still in the process of perfecting an expense sheet for my job.  I would like for the grand total to self calculate when the form fields have data entered into them.  However, if no data is entered and the user just wants to print a form to hand write their expenses I would like for the Grand Total to NOT print.  How do I go about this? I have tried visible but doesn't print and then the calculated total doesn't appear.  I have tried print but hidden and that makes it print out a 0 when no data is entered and you can't see the total on the sheet when using it on a computer. I attached the document for you to see and a .jpg explaining what I am asking to learn how to do.  I appreciate your time and thank you. J

Hi ,I am using /pdf-services.adobe.io/operation/convert to convert word docx to pdf . It gives error Invalid client ID when trying from POSTMAN.Is it because the scope is missing ? in the trial plan I have only openid, AdobeID, DCAPI scopes. Do we need pdf services read/ write scope for this operation .  Any suggestions will be helpful .

When I open a pdf, it looks like this:I have to click on the open file button to get it to look like this, which I want: Then I have to click on vertical window to get it this format, the format I want it to open up as every time: How do I get it to open in in the final picture forma?.  I don't want that file screen at all. 

Went to install adobe acrobat... for some reason it failed... but it did inform me that mcafee was installed. I don't think it even asked if I wanted it it also attempted to scan my machine. I uninstalled it BUT this is not ok. You should not install software you don't even inform the user about. Really shouldn't install ANYTHING not required by the core program the user downloaded. This is unethical and sus as hell. Do better.

I purchased a perpetual license of Acrobat Pro DC on the 9th Dec 2015 (version 12) .  By the Way I also purchased Acrobat Pro version 11 and have the seriaals number for both versions. Now Acrobat DC 12 is giving me Subscription and Trial notifcations - the software STILL runs for the moment - BUT, (1) Has my Perpetual License been terminated by Adobe ? (2) Will Adobe force me to RE_PURCHASE this PDF software?  I have a 3D plugin installed in Acrobat DC and I do not wish to upgrade my license(s) for fear of having to reinstall the plugin or reconfigure the plugin 

The application is slow and buggy: very often crashes, frequent spinning wheel appears, slow initialisation and more. AI functions not so needed. Speed and reliability are much more important. 

I purchased the Adobe Acrobat Pro (I have it registered, with serial number) for a Mac with Intel processor. Now I have changed to a M4 processor MacBook and it doesn't work. Is there any upgrade of the Acrobat Pro 2020 for it?

I subscribe to a software service to make things easier, not more complicated. I subscribe to Adobe Acrobat Pro, and every time something comes up that hinders my work. In other words, I don't want to learn anything, and they force me to use Adobe to learn. If I pay for a service, it has to be the full service. If the Adobe platform provides a service that doesn't serve me, I'll have to cancel my subscription and migrate to a platform that honors its service. Now they come saying that my PDF files are incompatible! Damn! I always have to open them for digital signatures as a disabled PDF. This has to be a joke? I pay for the full product, not half-baked goods. Please put yourself in your place. I don't want to learn anything, just sign my PDF documents like I did when I had Adobe Acrobat free. I am trying to activate Adobe acrobat 2020, it acknowleges the activation, but every time I open the program it asks to sign in.When the sign in is done it does NOT re-open the program.I have wait all day but it never re-open  Ray P

I purchased the standalone product Acrobat Pro 2020 in 2023, and installed it on a laptop running Windows 10.I recently purchased a new laptop (running windows 11), and installed Acrobat Pro on there as well, but I can't seem to use it...When I login to my adobe account to check "Activated Devices" it says "You have no activated devices"Shouldn't there at least be one computer listed in there?Adobe says:"You can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time." I cannot access my old laptop (due to a hardware failure).  How do I activate Adobe Acrobat Pro on my new laptop??TIA for any help. 

When I open a pdf in Acrobat, often pages with a background colour show as white background.If I open the same pdf in Preview it looks just fine.This has been happening for a month or so. Previously no problem.Does anyone have any suggestions?

I keep removing it and it keeps coming back. There's a whole tab for Acrobat. I don't need it taking up real estate on my home tab where styles should be. Is this pathological behaviour expected? Is there a way to get it stop reading itself?Using current O365 and Acrobat DC Pro.Thanks, Jim 🙂

Hello, I would greatly love to be able to remove this little bar from the horrible tasks, it is annoying when I put my document in full screen or on half of my window. Thank you in advance ! 

I have reported this in the 'Bugs' section as well - but I need a resolution asap: The 'Request Signature' opting is missing in my tools - I see this has been reported on several occasions by other users On a previous occasion - Following a previous update - I did find a thread about deleting a lingering DC file - and that worked previously- but I cannot find the thread any more I have tried reinstalling but to no avail - I have an acrobat pro account so this should not be happening! Also - As a Pro account holder - how do I chat to support directly - I do not seem to be able to. Thanks 

I'm no longer able to open Adobe Acrobat files without getting a popup that asks me to start a free trial or buy. I thought Adobe Acrobat was free. I have purchased the Acrobat export service

I am not sure how often this happens--maybe once a month? but when I open my Acrobat Pro on my iMac I get a pop up progress bar window "Verifying Adobe Acrobat"  This takes at least 10 minutes to process before I can use the program. Extremely annoying--Why is this happening?  I like Acrobat but am not a power user and not using it for commercial use.   Is this some sort of security thing that assures that I am the lega; user?  I can't stress how annoying this is.  Am I overlooking something withing the preferences to bypass this  Similar frustration with the updating of the program.  With no warning the progress bar pops up at night when I am about to shut down the computer.   The message says, if you shut down while update in process, it could damage the computer.  I have tried to check for updates manually but lead to a page that cannot be found.  Acrobat is a good program but Adobe needs to come out with a version that is targeted f

In addition to that, I have a box I need to add a prefix, date box, date, text, and date box, if it's the same thing. Thank you.
