I am not sure how often this happens--maybe once a month? but when I open my Acrobat Pro on my iMac I get a pop up progress bar window "Verifying Adobe Acrobat"  This takes at least 10 minutes to process before I can use the program. Extremely annoying--Why is this happening?  I like Acrobat but am not a power user and not using it for commercial use.   Is this some sort of security thing that assures that I am the lega; user?  I can't stress how annoying this is.  Am I overlooking something withing the preferences to bypass this  Similar frustration with the updating of the program.  With no warning the progress bar pops up at night when I am about to shut down the computer.   The message says, if you shut down while update in process, it could damage the computer.  I have tried to check for updates manually but lead to a page that cannot be found.  Acrobat is a good program but Adobe needs to come out with a version that is targeted f

Good Day Professionals                 I am looking to have a text with a prefix and suffix. My Prefix is "(GWA –" and   "A)"  my dropdown text box is  GWN. Is this possible? In addition to that, I have a box I need to add a prefix, date box, date, text, and date box, if it's the same thing. Thank you. 

I have multiple png that I want to merge into one pdf file. and i want it without any compression.I tried the option menu which you can see on the screenshot, but it still compress pretty much a lot. Is there any way to keep the png quality?

My original images are flagged as ai generated on adobe. I am going to submit my paper to a journal. I have to fix this. I don't know why it is seen like that. Plase help me fix it.

My workplace heavily relies on a plug-in that only works with a 32-bit installation of Acrobat DC.   We have a new workstation that runs 64-bit, and the installation is defaulting to the 64-bit version instead of giving an option on whether to install 32-bit or 64-bit. I can't find any options for this, or any information on this elsewhere.   How can I choose 32-bit when installing Acrobat DC in 2022?

I have used the redaction feature for a while and now it's distorting data after saving the file that wasn't redacted.  As indicated below, the details noted below was not redacted but this is how it appears after using the redact option.  This is causing issues that I really need to find a resolution for as soon as possible.

I'm a student and downloaded a templete pdf my professor posted to do my homework. I accidentally deleted it and i can't find it in the recycle bin or adobe creative storage. I'm sure I saved it to my computer, I would prefer an answer soon so I don't have to do my homework again.

Hi I have some videos that I would like to trim to perhaps 10 seconds or even a few seconds.... and i'm finding it difficult. It is possible to 'mark manually' a small segment and then use the keyboard arrows left/right to go frame by frame to trim the segment... you do that on the left bar using right arrow, and then on the right bar using left arrow, to bring them together..However, as it is such a small amount of video, it is then very difficult to navigate from one bar to the other.... the only way to do it is to leave a larger gap between the bars and then you have one shot to bring them together (scrolling frame by frame, though you can make it quicker by holding down the arrow), as the lines come closer together, it becomes impossible again to navigate to the other bar ... hope that makes sense!  Wondering if there is a more effective way to do this? Appreciate there might be something on "Advanced".. but i haven't touched "Advanced" before as it appears

I'm using Adobe Acrobat through a Creative Cloud subscription. None of my PDFs have the Edit PDF option anymore. Even when I create a PDF on my computer from a Word document, the option is missing. I only have the options to comment, fill and sign, export, create, share, stamp, measure, and certificates.

I have had CC for years.Today I double clicked a .PDF and instead of seeing the .PDF document open, I saw a message that said "click here to sign in and start your Acrobat DC trial!"  I clicked cancel but Acrobat just closed.  I tried over and over again but it is forcing me to atart an Acrobat DC trial.  So I went ahead and said yes, please go ahead and invade my computer with this unwanted trial that I am never going to subscribe to nor pay for.After a 30 minute download and installation, it says Acrobat DC trial is installed and will expire in 7 days.  I opened my .PDF and viewed it.  Then I went to the CC setup and clicked on the dropdown next to the Acrobat DC 7-day trial message and the only option available is uninstall.  So I click uninstall.  After 20 minute uninstallation session Acrobat DC is gone.  I double click a .PDF to open it and yup, you guess it, it's demanding that I install Acrobat DC to start my free trial.I don't want Acrob

is there any way to add upload document option in fillable pdf form?

I've used the "Add Text Comment" feature for years with no problem, but now when I've finished putting in the text and leave the box the letters fade and gray.  I've tried everything I can find in the format bar.  When the box is active, the text is perfect.  When the box is not active the text washes out similar to as being set behind an image.  I tried the Chat Tech, but that was very time absorbent and proved to be totally useless.  Help please?  Any ideas?

 Hi,I was previously given some advice on how to prevent redactions from causing white gaps/boxes appear over a watermark like in the image attached. However, I am still encountering this issue so was wondering if more detail/options could be provided. For instance, I have tried making the fill colour transparent and applying the watermark after redaction, but the same issue occurs. Thanks.

Is it possible to center a text vertically in a pdf form text field with the multi-line option so that the text stays centered even with multiple lines?Thank you!

We have a backup laptop with four user profiles: three assigned to colleagues and one that we use for presentations. The latter is an “open” profile, accessible to clients of our business center.The three colleague profiles each have a paid Acrobat subscription.On the fourth (“open”) user profile, we also want to be able to view PDF documents (e.g., presentations provided as PDFs instead of PowerPoint). However, we do not want to use a paid Acrobat account for this. The reason is obvious: it would give any random user of the open user profile access to personal documents.Acrobat Reader would do the trick here.However, it seems that if Acrobat is installed, Acrobat Reader cannot be installed alongside it.Is that correct? And if so, are there any possible workarounds?

We have Adobe for Teams, and I can't find the Global Settings page, to permanently disable the signature audit report page from automatically being added to the end of the document each time we get a digital signature. Help is appreciated.

When I try to draw using Fill & Sign, I get the "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error" error only when I click on the PDF for the first time. If I close the error and try again, I can draw (as seen in the video). Some PDFs don't work at all. What is the exact problem with the PDF (attached)? We are trying to debug this, see what's the exact problem and fix it. Some of our clients have errors with PDFs and we don't know where to look for the exact problem. Please don't suggest rebooting, reinstalling and other unseless fixes. Some PDFs work with no issue. It's not an OS or Acrobat version problem. It's the PDF. Optimizing the PDF also doesn't work. I tried CLI tools like "qpdf" to fix it with no success. I want to see the exact error in logs and why it doesn't like this PDF. 

What's the keyboard shortcut to change the status to complete for review comments. I'm sure there is one—I have used it ages ago but I forgot. Can anyone please let  me know that?
