Having the ability to disable  the "Get started with Acrobat Pro" e-mail notifications when licenses are assigned is essential to IT admins. Especially in organizations that operate in a controlled environment that need enforce certain restrictions. The e-mail notification provides the end users a way to download and install applications without these restrictions pre-packaged is counterproductive to IT efforts.  This seems like it was an option at one point, based in a previous post (link below). I set Adobe as the default for opening PDFs on my mac (get info --> open with: Adobe Acrobat --> change all --> continue), but any time I double click to open a PDF it's still opening in Preview. All the files saved as .pdf on my computer also have a Preview icon, not an Adobe one. I can't find anything to troubleshoot this (no matter what I search I just seem to get the instructions I outlined above about how to set Adobe as the default, nothing about what to do if you've completed these steps but are still having PDFs open in Preview). Help!! This is driving me nuts.

I used to be able to combine files, something I do daily for work, without Chrome opening a page for Adobe to do this in some super slow cloud that I hate. How do I stop this from happening? Why am I paying for the application to use on my desktop and getting sent to the internet instead, which isn't HIPAA compliant at all. Why would these features just start happening randomly without me agreeing to this too? Adobe is really going downhill. 

In the newest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I am unable to move a check box without it resizing.  No matter what I do, when I try to select the check box to move it, it will not select but only change the size.  The arrow doesn't appear to move it. I have used this product for years, but have never had this issue before. The only way I can move it, is if I zoom in on the check box 250 percent.   I am very frustrated! Any ideas how to change the setting to make the select object arrow automatically appear?

Install hangs at 46.6% three times.  Tried for 2 days. Turned off all VPN and virus detection. Error msg MSVCP140.dll not found. Error msg VCRUNTIME140.dll not found. Downloaded, installed, and ran CC cleaner three times. Error msg says download www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp. This does not exist. Error msg 404 file not found. I paid for a product I can't use. Very angry. It'd be nice to talk to a human who can actually understand and fix a problem. And looking at the community, this is not a new problem. Adobe should be able to fix this. 

When saving as pdf from the Acrobat Word add-in there are defects in the images in the document.  Similar to artifacts in the image when compression such as jpg is used.  This doesn't happen if we print to pdf from Word, but that loses the bookmarks which we need.  Word image settings are set to high quality.  Already went in to the add-in preferences and disabled image downsamling and compression, didn't seem to help.  Tried uninstalling Acrobat and Word and re-installing.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello. I want to change the narrator language in Acrobat from english to swedish. I'm trying to use text to speech but in Acrobats settings i can only change between two english speaking voices. My text is in swedish.

When using the 'Read out loud' function I cannot change the 'Words per minute' or the 'Pitch'. I am experiencing this issue in both Acrobat Reader as well as Adobe Pro DC. I am using the Mac version with the following information as shown below. I have seen that people with PDF creator can open select multiple files in SAP, print to PDF and it  automatically merges all the files and saves them as a single PDF. Is this possible with Adobe PRO?

Hi, I've got an Adobe Lightroom Mobile monthly subscription via Google Play that includes 40 GB of cloud storage. LR mobile says I have used 26gb out of 40gb, but on Adobe Scan Mobile/Acrobat, it says I'm out of storage, 26 gb out of 5 gb, even though i have 40gb from my subscription. Adobe Scan/Acrobat Dddn't say it was full a few months ago too

Can anyone tell me how to get a ruler guide to show on every page of a document, rather than having to add to every page individually.  So annoying and time wasting.   Can't believe that Adobe wouldn't have this basic feature in Acrobat? I'm trying to make sure that a common item in a document is contained within exactly the same area (between the guides) on every page. 

Hello! First time posting. When editing a PDF, I often need to adjust the placement of text boxes to allow for ample spacing between subject areas. However, whenever I attempt to move both groups of text boxes or singular text boxes up or down, the text begins to become layered with white space from the background and cannot be read fully, or becomes obscured entirely. At first, I thought it was a display error, and i attempted to save the file with the obscured text and preview it. When I did this, the text was indeed still fully covered. I work with documents only utilizing text, so there's no possible image/shape layers that could be interfering. This has become quite frustrating, and I'd like to figure out if there's any fix for this. I have the latest version (Windows 11, 64-bit 2024.005.20392) Some weeks ago, my (paid) AI Assistant suddenly disappeared. I can’t say whether it’s due to an update or not. I use the app in English and the new UI. Switching from old to new UI didn’t bring it back. I also don’t have the settings option, so I can’t dis- or enable it. I did a repair and a full reinstallation (with the AcroCleaner). It’s just gone. The app is installed on my second PC. My primary PC also lost the AI Assistant, but I managed to get it back (after full reinstallation). What caused it to get removed in the first place?

The newest update is trash. Every time I download a PDF from Google Chrome, Adobe automatically opens the file the second it is finished downloading. In the updatede Adobe preferences, the item to uncheck "Open PDFs automatically in Reader when they are downloaded in Chrome browser" no longer exists anywhere.I've confirmed it is not an issue with Chrome settings. It is definitely an issue with the new Adobe...  Is there another way to stop Adobe from automatically opening??   

Few years back, whenever we install the Adobe Acrobat Pro software on our PCs, he imediatelly emerged into Mozilla Firefox web browser also.We did not need to do simply anything here, it was just there, you can see it right away as a nice Adobe Acrobat button on the ribbon of the Mozilla firefox web browser, and it works just out-of-the-box, most superbly, easy and nice. 🙂 Somewhow, this quite logic for simply everbody and a great way of function disapear in last few years...  😞Because now, everbody who needs Adobe Acrobat Pro extension in a Mozilla Firefox web browser need to do a manual magic to be able to install it in the first place, by importing and installing the adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi extension file into a Mozilla Firefox web browser. However, since Mozilla Firefox web browser v127.0 (released June 11 2024), the same manual installation of this Adobe Acrobat Pro extension (the adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi file) do not work anymore!  &

Hello! I am creating a form with many check boxes. I trying to size and space the checkboxes evenly. I highlight the boxes, then click the "Distribute Horizontally" icon but nothing happens. Same when I try to resize the checkboxes to match the anchor by clicking "Match Height and Width" icon. This tool does not seem to be working for me, but I don't know what I am doing wrong. I've even gone in and opened the properties for each box to try to get it to the size but it won't change. The spacing remains uneven. I've made sure they aren't locked. Please help. 

Is it possible to modify the text size/font style of a measured dimension? Am I missing something obvious?

I obtained this item and registered it on May 23, 2005. Due to computer changes and re-installations including this version of Acrobat, I am now getting the message to ACTIVATE the software. In my account profile, registration is noted, so why am I being asked again to ACTIVATE, and when I try via telephone (discontinued phone #'s) and via internet my answer is: "Activation was unsuccessful because the activation server is not available at this time." Question: Has Adobe abandonned this version? If not, how does one re-activate a legitimate, all be it an old friend?

Hello!When I go to send adobe files to someone via email, my last name is showing differently than what is on my profile. See pictures below. It looks like my last name is different in two different places on my Adobe accout. This is a single personal account associated with the same username, password, and email. Please help!

We use replace text and insert text a lot in PDF markup, as I assumed most design workflows did. The new Acrobat doesn't include "replace" or "insert" on the quick menu. . .   And on the toolbar it's two clicks away, increasing time and decreasing efficiancy.  As far as I can tell you can't sufficiently customize the toolbar to remove the comment folder and then add "replace" or "insert" as a top level tools. As I missing something? Can you customize the quick menu? Can you fully edit the toolbar? 

Multiple employees have digital signatures and don't remember their passwords. How can I delete these unused signatures.
