 Hi all,Is there a way to remove an event from a form field (under the Actions tab) in Acrobat Pro DC (Mac) using JavaScript?I’ve set events like MouseUp, MouseDown, MouseEnter, MouseExit, OnFocus and OnBlur withsetAction()For some cases, I need to clear/remove the event completely.Right now, I can do something like:fieldName.setAction("OnBlur", " ");This works, but feels more like a workaround than a true removal.Is there a proper way to delete an existing action via JavaScript?Thanks!

Hi, I have two similar section in document with free text fields and radio group.I have button (right-up corner) after mouse up copy free text fields from left section to right.I want to copy status of checkboxes too, how to do this? We are looking to see what the last login is per user.  Is there no way to see this activity in the admin console?

When I use save as Adobe PDF in Outlook, the saved document has converted the character size so small that the document is unreadable. For example, all the characters in my e-mail string are 12 points, but the characters in the generated PDF are 5 points.I don't want to use the print option because I want the attachments to be saved in the same PDF file.Is it possible to change a setting to correct the problem?

When I click the Pen icon to add my signature to a document Acrobat crashes. We have tried uninstaling and reinstaling and using the most current version of Acrobat as well as the last version. Any other suggestions?

Hello, I've had this issue inconsistently occur before. Basically, when I convert an excel sheet into an adobe pdf, my borders get screwed up (typically thickened). I've tried troubleshooting and changing my border options to the smallest dotted line based on previous post suggestions, or going to "Print" before converting, but it still occurs. See pics below for example. 1) Borders appear normal in excel (thin lines, consistent). 2) Once converted to PDF, random borders appear thickened...not consistently unfortunately.Does anyone know of a way to prevent this issue from occurring? Since excel and adobe are both microsoft products I'm disappointed that this issue has not been fixed yet. It makes PDF documents look messy and unprofessional.  Note: I am using Adobe Pro (lifetime license) and Excel version 2310. Note that in Adobe Pro the option to "enhance thin lines" does not solve the issue. 

I cannot use the fillable form function and drop down menus in a fillable form sent to me after upgrading from Acrobat Reader to Acrobat Pro. I checked the security settings and did not see any restrictions. Is there a way to use the fillable form in Acrobat Pro?

I've been searching for answers to this, so I'll try the collective mind of the Community.When saving a PowerPoint presentation created from a template file that contains imported PNG images created with Adobe Illustrator with the option 'Save as Adobe PDF', the imported images that were created in Illustrator do not transfer to the PDF. However other images and text does without issue, it's only the imagescreated with Illustrator. Other methods of creating the PDF will show the imported images as expected, leading me to believe this may be an Adobe issue. While with the other wasy to create a PDF are manageable workaround, the issue still remains and is unexpectingly affecting users. 

With this product registered through serial numbers, the devices that have it active are not visible. Besides, you talk to support and they tell you that they do not know that the email has active plans. What's going on? Is it no longer possible to see the devices that have the license activated? Are there no alternatives?

We’re running into an issue in print production. The script we use is supposed to remove all masked objects, but it’s leaving behind a blank box that shouldn’t be there. The box has no content, but the script isn’t deleting it. Can anyone help?Here’s the setup: the files start in InDesign, then we export them as PDFs. Those PDFs are placed into a new file to create a mock-up. At that point, we run the script to remove all masked objects so that only the text remains selectable—no hidden or unnecessary elements. Normally it works great, but this one box refuses to go away.The file I have is Remove Masked Objects.kfp but it won't let me upload it to show it to you all.

We have just upgraded a number of PC's to Windows 11. We have installed Acrobat DC Vers 2025.001.20693.The users are reporting that if they combine a number of PDF pages and then try and delete the Odd Pages through the Organize PDF function, the pages don't delete. Nothing happens. The odd pages become highlighted when Odd Pages is selected but don't delete.They have to manually select each page and then delete.I have tried doing the same thing on a Mac running Acrobat DC Vers 2025.001.20693 and it works as intended.I have looked around on the Web but can't find anything.Has anybody else experienced this?

Guten Tag,ich benötige Hilfe bei einem Fehler der seit einigen Tagen auftritt.Wir Acrobat Pro 2017 (kein ABO!) seit 8 Jahren im Einsatz und ohne jegliche Veränderung ist die Nutzung nicht mehr möglich.Der Abgleich der Seriennummer funktioniert nicht mehr und damit steht uns das Produkt nicht mehr zur Verfügung.Nach telefonischer Rückfrage bei Adobe bekam ich die information dass es nicht am Produkt liegt und ich mein Anliegen hier kundtun müsse.  Ich bitte um Prüfung und Hilfeleistung um das Programm wie gewohnt nutzen zu können.Vielen Dank.

Hello,I am experiencing a persistent and unusual issue with the eraser tool within the "Comment" feature of Adobe Acrobat.Problem Description:When I try to erase handwritten lines (drawn with the Pencil tool), the eraser behaves erratically. As I drag the eraser over a line, the following happens:The CPU usage for the Acrobat.exe process spikes dramatically.The entire application freezes for a few seconds.After the freeze, only a very small portion of the line I traced over is actually erased. The rest of the traced area remains untouched.Conditions:This issue does not happen every single time, and I have not been able to identify the exact trigger. However, it occurs very frequently when I am using a multi-monitor environment.Diagnostics:I have monitored the Task Manager during these events. The high CPU load is isolated to the main Acrobat.exe process. There are no corresponding spikes in GPU usage, graphics driver processes, or the Adobe CEF Helper processes. This leads me to believ

I have a problem with the color display in Acrobat DC. Everything looks all right in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, but when exporting to PDF and viewing in Acrobat the colors suddenly appear oversaturated. A lot. If I export a file from InDesign and then open the PDF up in Photoshop everything looks normal. Just not in Acrobat. My color settings are synced across all apps (to Europe General Purpose 3). I have tried changing settings in Acrobats color management, but nothing changes the appearance.I also tried uninstalling Acrobat and reinstalling. This actually worked but only for a few days - then back to this frustrating situation. In the meantime, I changed nothing.I can see a few threads like this but none solved. Anyone have the same problem or at suggestion to a solution?I have attached a screenshot to highlight the issue.Best regards, Peter

Hi,Something totally weird while doing something unbelievably basic, hoping someone can help.I am trying to print one sheet from an Excel file to the Adobe virtual printer. As follows:- In Excel itself, the print dialogue is set to A4 and the printer is set to Adobe PDF- Entering "Printer Properties" (for the Adobe PDF printer) the Adobe PDF page size is set to A4- However when I print, I get a PDF document generated at 8.5" x 11" size which is US Letter, not A4Semi-related but if I open the Letter file and then re-print a PDF from Acrobat to a NEW PDF using the scaling ability of Acrobat, I can get an A4 file because it shrinks the pages to make them fit. But this is silly, means I am getting a reduced-size Letter page downscaled to fit onto an A4 page.. what I want is to produce the A4 page in the first place!It is clearly something wrong on my laptop, because going through the exact same steps with the exact same file on my desktop correctly produces an A4 file.Any ideas?Thanks all,

NZ, 25th April 2018Ongoing printing problem.Environment: Win 10 on Surface Pro 4Acrobat DC18, Continuous Release | Version 2018.011.20038As per the forum question of: A4 default is the wrong size (forums.adobe.com/thread/303037), April 2008 (yes, 10 years ago), I'm unable to print to A4 paper.I've followed all the advice / suggestions in the above 2008 post, and have had a second user check all my settings on the printer and in Acrobat.Despite all settings correctly set for A4, when I hit the Print button, I get the error message that the printer cannot print to Letter sized paper (I don't have or need Letter paper). In other words, Acrobat appears to ignore the A4 settings and defaults to Letter. I'm now stuck and cannot use Adobe Acrobat as all my documents are in, and need to be printed in, A4 format.Any suggestions / solutions would be v. much appreciated.Thanks!

I'm on a 2021, 14" MacBookPro, Apple M1 Pro, Sequoia 15.6.1.  A few months back, it stopped printing full versions of large pdfs. If I send a 2-3 page pdf to my printer (HP Laster Jet Pro MFP M428fdw), it prints fine. If I send a large, say, 30 page pdf, it will print one or two pages and then stop. I noticed that when it prepares the doc for printing, the Print Center dialogue reports "Printing, [my name], Waiting for job to complete." It just stops after 2 or three pages. However, if I go into advanced on the print dialog and switch to "Print as Image", it will print the entire document. When it prepares for printing, the Print Center dialogue will show the number of pages being printed. However, there are other issues with printing as an image, so it's not a great work-around.Printing Word documents works fine.Any ideas why this is happening? My IT department can't figure out the problem.  I've searched through Adobe's site and googled, and haven't found anything on this i

We're working on a new contract management system, and we're hoping to use the Adobe Share feature to send to our clients outside of our company. However, when we share the PDF and our client adds comments, I am unable to download a version of the PDF to my desktop with their comments. This is vital for me to be able to utilize this system. Any thoughts as to why the comments are not saving?? This is an issue on ALL shared PDFs.

I recently updated my Acrobat to version 2025.001.20577 and my MacOS to Sequoia 15.6, and since then I've had issues when trying to check accessibility of docs in Acrobat.First I noticed that when I go into the accessibility tools and click on Reading Order, the button turns blue like it is selected, but no options window opens and nothing appears on the doc to show reading order or text levels. The rest of the buttons in accessibility tools seem to work fine.Then I realised my ability to see the tags was completely gone - the panel to see them is nowhere to be found. I've been searching to find a solution and can't find anything about anyone having the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarting my Mac to no avail. I also have 3 work collegues on the same plan who have run the same updates as me and aren't having this issue.

Hi, I need help with something. I am creating forms that need to be filled out. I am definitely not an expert and neither are the people that use my pdf's. Now I created all the files and placed text fields where needed and everything works as a charm. What is missing is: I need a small area called " Date: " To Autofill the correct date when a used opens the PDF. But only the user who fills it. Not the one opening it to read and respond.  I managed to do it, but the date doesn’t update. It always gives me the original date I used. Second problem. I live in Canada, and more specifically in Quebec. They have some computers who will write the date as: dd/mm/yy and others who use mm/dd/yy. And if you chose the wrong one for example yesterday I used 09/12/2019. And it wrote Sep, 12 2019. But on the other computer I wrote for the same file, 9 Dec 2019. Exactly like it sounds. I have a document that auto-populates a date 33 days in the future when printed. (Thanks to this thread.) What I do most with Acrobat Pro is sending my exported pdf to my default Windows email client (Thunderbird) as an attachment so I can send it to colleages or clients. Since the last update the "email" button disappeared when I click on Share... I dont need feedback approval or read only cloud functions, I need an email button: (please) in one click like it used to be in the previous Acrobat versions. I don't like to do 4 clicks before I can reach this button. Why is Adobe is making it so difficult for its users to just use their own prefered apps? No Gmail, no Outlook, no WhatsApp, just my personal chosen email app will do. I hope you will bring this basic feature back as a direct button in the toolbar.

When get an adobe form and I need to fill it out, I use the Add Text function. When I start typing my name into the name field, the line that I'm typing on starts moving to the right. I want to type on that line as if I'm using a typewriter. (What happened to the old typewriter function???!!!!) I've resorted to typing elsewhere on the page and then dragging that new text box on top of the existing text box, but there must be a better way! How can I just type on the form?
