Help.I'm working in RH 2022 and I'm unable to publish to Word and PDF formats.  I have the buttons but when I try to publish I receive an error message.  I had this functionality in RH 2019 and when I updated to RH 2022 the functionality is not working.  Any suggestions as to how to get this functionality working? Thanks

Has anyone an an issue with various cookie information appearing at the bottom of each file in RH 2022?  Is there a way to remove this information? Thanks

It seems as though this should be the simplest thing possible. However, I beg you not to outline any procedure unless you have tried and tested it for yourself and can confirm that it actually works. For example, I can confirm that this does not work:Select the Output tab.In the Output Presets tab, select the + symbol.From the Type drop-down list, select Microhelp, then name the preset.If necessary, select the General tab.In the Format drop-down list, select Text.Select the Publish tab, then select or create a profile name. So, if that doesn't work to create a plain ASCII text file -- and it does not -- then what does?

Good afternoon! I am using Robohelp 2022 and I am unable to place an apostrophe on TOC titles. How can I do this without it automatically changing to an underscore? I have attached an image for where I am trying to place an apostrophe. Not sure what I am missing. Thanks in advance,Danny

Drop spots appear always expanded in output files for RH 2020, whearas they work fine from inside the application. Any ideas?Regards

My RoboHelp plans claims that I get the web items listed below, but I don't know how to access the 2GB of Cloud storage. I am in the midst of upgrading a rather large project from RH2019 "Classic" to RH2022. In the "Classic Version", I had a snippet set up that is used everywhere within the project to jump to top of page when the user clicks an image. I did this previously by simply adding a link to to image with Link to: '#top' (see screen capture). With the new version upgraded the link gives me "about:blank#blocked" in the browser and there is nothing I see that can be done to fix it, so basicaly this just dissappeared and I do not know how or if I can get it back?I am also getting an error "File name contains invalid characters. Do not use the following characters in the name: \/:*?"<>|';#%." when I try to add a style sheet (.css) to the snippet which I think is just something I am doing wrong. Any insite especially to the image link thing would be appreciated. 

I finally got all my projects updated to 2022.1 with all the output working and looking as expected.Today, I installed the Update 2. Now the ToCs for my PDFs have page numbers for the headings on the cover page and the ToC itself, where they didn't before.Update 1:Update 2: Is there a tried and true way to omit specific headings (or pages) from the ToC? The Cover page uses cover-specific classes on the H1 and H2. How can I set the ToC to exclude them (and the Contents page itself)?

Using RH 2022.0.346, we tested publishing to frameless and noticed that the URL address/path no longer has index.htm in it like responsive HTML5 does. I did check in the Frameless>Output>General the "Start Page" has index.htm and the Output>Framless>Content> has the "Include Index" checkbox checked. Is this the way frameless is? Can I get the index.htm back into the URL? Thank you all so much for any insight.

Good morning!I am here again!I would like to understand if there is a way in RH to insert different blocks of documents in a single project that can be viewed according to need. For example, inserting  a methodological manual in a user one in a single project but having the possibility of viewing the methodological manual (the entire manual) by clicking a link perhaps?

As hard as I try to figure this out via this forum, the internet at large, experimentation, or flat out guessing, I can't seem to nail down what files actually need to be saved in a source control system (eg GIT) and what doesn't.Can anyone point to an official and definitive source for this information?Many thanks.

Is there a way to have a feedback or rating per page in your Adobe Robohelp Output similar to this screen capture from another webpage? If so, how would you receive those results? Thanks!

Hi,we've discovered that file names (e.g. file names of images used in the RH project) are included as suggestions in the Responsive HTML5 output of our project: Is there a way to turn this off? Having file names as the first suggestions makes the search all but unusable. Especially since the suggestions also include thumbnail images that are generated by RoboHelp if a thumbnail class is applied to an image. Thank you for your help.Cheers, Birgit

Hi, my Search results in Responsive HTML5 output, using RoboHelp 2019 Classic and the Azure_Blue layout, includes all of the image files. Images are stored in a subfolder named images. I don't want these files to be included in the Search. Any ideas on how to exclude them would be appreciated. I would also like to change the default font size in the left pane if possible. Thanks,-Gina Colby

Using RH on windows 10 pc, version 2022.1.188. Tables are breaking across pages and client doesn't want this. How do I fix it in the PDF output generation? Thx

tldr; Robohelp 2020 and later does not work in a Jenkins agent. Robohelp 2019 classic does. What am I doing wrong? We use Jenkins to automate our software build and deployment process. Generating the user manuals (authored using Robohelp) is also part of this process. With Robohelp 2019 classic this works fine. The Jenkins agent invokes the Robohelp command line compiler similar to how a user would invoke the command line using a command shell or script and the manuals are generated. In Robohelp 2020 and later this no longer works as the process appears to be hanging indefinitely during start up. Im am a long time user of RH (Classic), but currently upgrading to RH2022. I am not seeing the ability to easily select what content I want to output to PDF. In "Classic" version there is an option in the Output (second setting screen) configuration that allows for the selection of whatever you want to generate for the output (see screen capture below).The only way I figured to do this now is by messing with the TOC to incude only one topic and then selecting that in the output. I need to output pdfs of only single topics all the time, so I hope there is just something simple I am missing since I am new to the current UI?

The update contains fixes for Sticky Right Panel and PDF publishing, including TOC, Metadata, and licensing for PDF generation. I'm customizing an Orange frameless skin. I am able to delete the Favorites button by deleting the "Saved" button in Layout >  Topic Page Buttons. But this doesn't remove the favorite button in the Right Panel. Can it be deleted? I think there was another post that said it can't be deleted but you could trade the icon for one the same color as the background. Is that the solution?

Hello! I am using Robohelp Version 2020.7.46 to generate a Frameless output and use it to implement context-sensitive help. Clicking the index.htm file in the Output folder loads the page correctly. However, on uploading the Output folder to SharePoint/S3 Browser, the index.htm page does not load. Additionally , when I click on one of the topics in the Outputs folder, only the content is displayed, but full TOC on left, In this topics section on right, Search button, and other elements (Header, Favorites) on the page are missing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sravana  

Not sure if this is just a setting I am missing.  Is it possible to completely disable the search term highlight feature?  I have several topics that provide blocks of code for users to copy/paste.  When accessing these pages from a search result, the code block format is modified by the highlight code which messes up the how the content is copied. This mainly affects blocks of code in a preformatted text <pre> tag that involves separate lines.  When copying from the page the highlight feature, it ignores the format and pastes it all as a single lineExample without the Highlight:   <pre>Hello there This is an example of some code </pre>   And this is the format when copying out of the output page without the search result highlight:   Hello there This is example of some code   But if you were copying this output from a search result, with the highlight used to highlight the terms in t

HiI am using Robohelp 2020 Update 5 for the project documentation. Just came across an uncanny issue. In the Outputs folder, clicked the Index.htm file and it did not load the page. Chrome is my default browser. This is Output settings page on RH2020. Another issue is, in the Outputs folder, I then clicked one of the topics. It did display the content but the TOC, right TOC and the Next and Previous buttons were missing. The Outputs folder in on the D:\drive. I copied the entire project to C:\ drive and checked but the issue still persists. Please can you let me know if I am missing any settings. I do not think we had such issues in RH2017. Moreover, if we opened a topic from the Outputs folder in RH2017 it displays only the content but had a messaging at the top right-side of the page as given below: Clicking the above option would then re-load the page with the TOC and also the Next and Previous buttons. I'm looking to clean up my project on the back end folders/files.  There a ton of rtl files which I have come to understand are temp files and can be deleted.   I also have a ton of $pr files.  What are the $pr files? Any other tips on what to look for /research/delete to "clean up a project"
