Hello. Is there a way to prevent TOC books from opening automatically when you open a topic in a Responsive HTML5 output? We have topics that are located in multiple books in the TOC. In previous versions of RoboHelp, if you opened a topic from another topic, it did not change where you were in the TOC. With the 2022 output, it takes you to the first book in the TOC where this topic is located. We have our books organized by teams, so that isn't always appropriate. For example, topic A is located in the TOC under the Team 1 book and the Team 2 book. You're in team 2 and you've opened topic B from the Team 2 book. Topic B has a link to Topic A, you click on it, and the TOC opens to the location of Topic A in the Team 1 book. This is confusing and frustrating for team B.Is there a way to prevent it from doing this and have the TOC books not change at all when you click on one topic from another, similar to how it used to work in R

Hello,We are in process of upgrading from Robohelp 2019 classic to Robohelp 2019 modern, then again to Robohelp 2022 modern before windows 10 EOL.We are noticing with the upgrade from Robohelp 2019 classic to Robohelp 2019 modern we are getting the default static "welcome" page is not loading and seems like 2 instances of the individual Robohelp Project appears. Has anyone ran into this and is there a way to fix? Thank you in advance!

I'm having an issue with the  character displaying over icons on my homepage in my RoboHelp project (2020.8.34). Screenshot below.I've searched other related threads, but couldn't find one where this was happening only on the icons.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,LT
Hi! We are working on a project with RH 2022 Template Studio and Frameless output. The homepage of my project opens perfectly when I start my start page index.htm in the output. However, it does not open in other situations. Instead, the first topic of my project opens. (I have not selected this anywhere, see my settings in the attached screenshots). This happens when I click on the home button in the breadcrumbs or when the home page opens in the application for which the online help was created.I tested whether it was due to my settings. To do this, I loaded a completely new Skin Studio and a completely new Frameless output. The result was the same. What is going wrong?
Hi, I am new to using Robohelp. The changes which I make in my document surprisingly that doesnt get saved when I reopen it after sometime. Can someone please help me here. My robohelp is in C drive and is installed in Windows.
Is anyone aware of how to upload the robohelp output to a sharepoint that other people can access
Hello, I made a website in robohelp for a team in a differnet section within my company. I'm trying to figure out a way to give up ownership of the project so they can go in Robohelp and make changes and updates as they see fit. Is there a way to do that?
Hello, we published a frameless project with Template Studio. While testing the application, we received an error report regarding the favorites feature: Favorites are not saved in a list; only the last page saved as a favorite is available. No list. This means that there are no favorites within a session. The same thing happened with the original Template Studio and different browsers (FF, Edge, Chrome). I suspected that this was related to the fact that we publish the project locally in the file system. In fact, saving favorites had been a customer request that we had carelessly agreed to. Does anyone have any idea how to get the favorites to work?
I generate help using the Studio Frameless Skin as my starting point using RoboHelp 2022. For some reason, the Skin to Main Content link produces a Forbidden error when selected from the server. The link works correctly on my local computer. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Hello, I'm trying to output to Confluence and having some errors. The publish log shows this:Failed to fetch all existing pages ids..{"error":"com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.pagesmodes.GoneException: This deprecated endpoint has been removed.","statusCode":410}Failed to fetch space home page..{"error":"com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.pagesmodes.GoneException: This deprecated endpoint has been removed.","statusCode":410}In my publish profile, I am using OAuth. It seems like I am able to sign in OK when I run the publish command. Has anyone been able to successfully publish to confluence lately? Has anyone seen these errors? This is the first time I'm trying it, and I think it would be useful.
We are currently developing a new online help system in frameless format and would like to include microcontent to provide better answers to user questions. We have defined the microcontent and integrated it correctly into the output. The problem starts when we install the project locally and the installation procedure rejects the naming conventions of the microcontent phrases, which means that the project cannot be used. There are two errors: names that are too long and special characters. Is there a way to rename the phrases? Or how can I name microcontent using the group name + a sequential number? How do you solve this?
Hi all,I am relatively new to Robohelp. I have created a chm file and when I tried to send it through email (after zipping), I am getting the antivirus alert like this, and it is not getting attached to the mail. Can you please guide me how to get it resolved? Or if there is any alternative to sharing my chm file that also would be greatly helpful. Awaiting an early response to my query from this elite forum. Thanks in advance.
We recently upgraded from old RoboHelp 2017 to RoboHelp 2022 and are now publishing in frameless HTML.All is otherwise ok except for the fact that we used to output Microsoft HTML Help (.CHM) and in RoboHelp 2017 this worked fine. Some customers would still like to have the latest content in CHM, and our latest content is now being authored in RoboHelp 2022 and when we try to publish a .CHM file using RoboHelp 2022 the Japanese characters in the table of contents are all garbage. I have been assuming that this is a bug or something?
I have a merged help, frameless output help file. One parent / 55 child projects. Some child projects have TOC entries that point to web pages. In those cases, the URL in the published file includes the path to the child project added to the URL of the intended page. Example:https://help.oursite.com/parent_project/mergedProjects/child_project/https://url_of_intended_site.htm If I look at the files locally on my PC, the TOC entries are correct - only including the path to the web page. It is after these files are copied to the production server that I see this error. They are copied using an FTP client. Any idea why that happens or how I can correct? As info, I'm using RoboHelp Version 2022.4.179.
Hello all. I have what appears to be recursion in my published help. I see the help within the help (but only the TOC) I am never able to get the help topics to load. Its like one version of the same help is embedded within the other. And the right frame which would normally load the starting topic never loads, it just spins. I figure I set something up wrong in my project but for the life of me can't figure it ou. I'm on Robohelp 2019. Thanks in advance for any assist.
Hi all, I'm using RoboHelp 2022, and working with the Frameless Studio skin. I want to understand if there's any setting that can be changed so that the output can appear either in Full screen mode or have the filters panel open by default?
I am trying to install RoboHelp 2019 (Classic) on a new computer which has Windows 11 Version 24H2 OS. When I run the set-up.exe, the Adobe RoboHelp (2019 release) Installer window pops up but is completely blank and nothing happens. How can I install RoboHelp 2019? I did install 2020 successfully but had to uninstall as I cannot use that version since the file structure is different and will not work with our Source Control.
HelloUp to now we worked with merged chm's, organised in a directory tree with as many branches as languages;language 1 main projectsubproject A containing htm's in language 1subproject B containing htm's in language 1language 2 main projectsubproject A containing htm's in language 2subproject B containing htm's in language 2and so onall the content is already translated. but organised in this directory structurewe want to migrate to merged html. What I noticed is that in RH2022, when you 'call' translations on a project, this is happening in the sources directorymainproject dir (in the main language)subproject A (main language)subproject B (main language)fr/FR and thensubproject A (in french) containing 'to translate' htm's what is strange: there is no separate dir for the main language (nl-BE) in our case. This means that our app will need a different parameter to launch language 1 than language 2 or 3these dirs are only containing 'to translate' htm's (because I c
I am using RoboHelp version 2022.4.179 and I am trying to exclude topics from the search but still include it in the table of contents. I have gone through each topic and selected "Exclude this topic from search" but after generating the HTML output, and going to search a keyword, the topics are still listed in the search. How would I make sure that the topics I have selected to not be included in the search won't show up while still being in the TOC if someone needs to reference it?
Hello, i've upgraded RH2019 a merged project to RH2022 with chm output.I've succeeded in transforming this with output to html5 (with many thx to the youtube of Matt Sullivan)So now it is a merged html5 projectall local links work, but not the one linking a topic from an external chmthe link now is nameprojectt.chm://topicname.htm and should become rhpj:nameproject/contents/topicname.htmI could in every subproject look in reports/external references. I'm hoping it would be possible by editing one or more files in the project directory with a search and replace (eventually external to RH) so this would happen efficiently. Any ideas? best regardsOlivier
